There’s so much mold in my room. They transferred me 2 other rooms and all 3 of them have mould. I chose the room w the least mold!! That’s 3 rooms at least with mold. Be warned. The staff was ‘nice’ but gave me attitude. As if I am asking them a favor. Unfortunately, I’m traveling with my dogs and cannot easily go to another hotel. I would if I could! I’m stuck and already my my sinus is getting inflamed. Check your rooms here or better yet avoid. Hotel responded saying there was a suitable solution, well they transferred me to sleep in a room still with moldy bathrooms. The next day they said I didn’t have to pay for the night. They think they solved the problem by complementing the night while my sinus was inflamed. Not at all. I would still not recommend this hotel due to their mold problem.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and we absolutely loved our room. The location of the property itself is convenient to everything in a very walkable city. The property was perfectly clean and very comfortable. Restaurant options were great and very much enjoyed the social hour with delicious and massive beers (in addition to great wine). Moreover, the staff here were absolutely incredible and made us feel welcome and extremely comfortable. This is an easy decision: stay here.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Stayed here three nights and was upgraded to an Executive King room, and which was very spacious and well appointed, with great views of the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff was great and kept our room nice and clean. The breakfast at Cecelia’s was a nice touch. Super close to everything. Would highly recommend.

We have recently returned from a three-night stay at the hotel. Firstly, I would like to thank the entire team for such a warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. The staff are extremely attentive, and they truly made the whole experience remarkable. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and a lovely space to relax in. Attention to detail was incredible. Everything you could need was catered for. The hotel design and rooms are beautifully put together. The scent of the hotel is so calming. Wonderful stay as a couple. The lounge area is great for working on a laptop and also chilling out. Celia restaurant is perfect! The only small issue is the temperature of our room. The room was very hot at night and the thermostat didn't seem to help cool down the space. Windows did not have the option to open so sleep was a little disturbed at times. On the whole, we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely return.

5 stars! This is a great hotel. The location is excellent and the rooms are beautiful and fun! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the towels are big and fluffy. Our room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, iron & ironing board, television and plenty of room to relax. The staff are fantastic....very helpful with suggestions for dining and getting around Amsterdam. I highly recommend this hotel!

A comfortable stay in a loft suite with balcony overlooking the city. In-room dining was amazing. The location is perfect. I switched hotels and regretted it immediately. It’s walking distance to everything you want to see. Comfortable rooms but the walls are a little thin haha.

Perfect location close to the train station. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was nice but a bit small. We were able to borrow bikes for the day and really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

Came with our son and best friends. This hotel is great! Conveniently located close to the train station and in a quiet part of town. The front desk staff, restaurant staff, and housekeeping were all fantastic. The service and food at Celia, their restaurant, was the best we experienced during our 3 weeks throughout Europe. We will be back! Thank you!

My favorite hotel in Amsterdam. Whenever I’m in town this is my goto hotel . Amazing rooms in the perfect location of town . The beds are so comfortable, I contacted their supplier . I’ve never had a better night rest in any other hotel in the world . I’ll be back soon! Thanks again for the amazing stays !

I had very nice stay!! As an IHG Royal Ambassador / Inner Circle kindly upgraded to a top floor room. I really appreciated the service personal, excellent drinks at the bars, especially the signature cocktails and high quality food in the restaurant. Thx to all the personal for making our stay so comfortable!!

Great location in walking distance to all the sights in Amsterdam. The hotel and staff were really helpful... and the free happy hour was a great way to start the evening. Slight issue with insufficient lighting in the rooms but definitely recommend it overall.

My husband and I spent two nights right after Christmas with your hotel. We both had a great stay. I don’t remember the names of the young women who spent our last night talking with my husband. They were stationed at the front desk. I can’t thank them enough. I hope you can find out who they were and tell them how great they were. We also wanted to tell your restaurant staff that the burgers were delicious. Great job guys.

Had an amazing taste experience inside CELIA (hotel owned restaurant). On top of that the staff is great! Gabriel from the front desk gave amazing recommendations for my stay in Amsterdam. He really made my day!

Unbeatable location. Room rates on the higher side partly due to this. Excellent breakfast spread worth taking up. There's a happy hour every evening for guests with nice wines and beer.

I wake early, today it was 4:30 am. After showering I went to the lobby and the night staff was friendly and attentive, showing me how to use the door, etc. The cleaning staff is sublime, the woman working Saturday morning was as thorough a worker as I've ever seen. Subsequently the morning staff was friendly and helpful regarding the various questions we had, providing multiple options. They are intelligent, listen to the questions in full, and communicate effectively.

Modern, clean and chic hotel conveniently located from the Amsterdam Centraal Train Station. Meals here are excellent, and the service is outstanding! The hotel takes care of the customers ( I had an upset stomach for traveling— they made special meals for me on spot, so that I can enjoy the meals). Thank you; I truly appreciate your hospitality.

Staff was super friendly and helpful at the front desk. Location is amazing if you plan to explore the heart of Amsterdam. We were able to catch the tram or walk pretty much anywhere we wanted! Rooms were spotless and very comfortable!

Very good business hotel close to the main station and public transport. Rooms are big, clean and quiet which I value most on a business trip. There’s a huge lounge area on the main floor which is perfect for hanging out with colleagues although I never had the change to be there for their „social hour“. What could be better: The breakfast is good but not exceptional, and the window in my room didn’t open at all. Not a big problem but I personally prefer fresh air over AC.

LOVED. LOVED. LOVED this hotel. This hotel is one of the main reasons as to why I want to come back to Amsterdam. It was literally one of the few places that we stayed in of the various places that had English speaking channels. We were struggling, ok! The accommodations were phenomenal as well. They even put a crib in my room without me asking. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was truly one of the best breakfasts of all of our stays. Omelets cook to order. Croissants were so buttery and flaky. The staff was so accommodating, friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We even met someone who was from Florida. We plan to come back to Amsterdam to stay longer and specifically stay here.

Unfortunately, I was given a room on the first floor, facing a busy road. Trams were rumbling on all night. If you are on a business trip and need a good night’s sleep, be wary of this please. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel. The design is fresh and original, and it is located right in Amsterdam’s city centre. But I would think twice about coming back.

Perfect location. Impeccable cleaning every single day. Happy hour with good wine and snacks from 4-5 pm. Someone knocked on our door with chocolates as soon as we checked in. When we left they gave us a small bottle of the fragrance used for the hotel. I don't know when we'll be back in Amsterdam, but we will definitely be staying here.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. the Staff is incredible and always ready to help and provide you with the best service. The rooms are nice and large (premium room), also very clean and quiet. (i was on the 4th floor facing the ally). The location of the hotel is one of the best - walking distance from the central station and a minute's walk from all the shopping. The hotel has complimentary wine testing every day and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is great. I will definitely stay again in Kimpton De Witt on my next visit to Amsterdam. Thank You and Happy New Year!

A wonderful hotel literally five minutes away from the central station. Thoughtfully designed rooms with a very comfortable bed. One of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had with a vast spread of food with fresh ingredients. The croissant was amazing. Excellent service and even gave a surprise in the room one day as there was a birthday over the stay.

What can I say. Walking distance to the train station so easy transfer from Schipol. Also walking distance to main sights! Bikes available for a nice ride around Jordan. Wine hour, cool cocktails, great breakfast. The staff are the best - nothing too much trouble. Thanks

Very good 4* hotel with an excellent location near the main train station and the Dam square. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisy from the traffic. Breakfast is very good! It's not cheap do!😂

Thank you dear IHG colleagues for this great stay! We really enjoyed your hospitality, the beautiful and clean suite and the amazing food at Celia. It really was a pleasure to meet your team and to get to know Kimpton De Witt. A highly recommended hotel with a true level of professional & warm service.

Very well located hotel in the centre of Amsterdam and 5 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel is very beautiful, the food and beverage services are excellent and the breakfast is incredible. The rooms are nice and spacious. The hotel remains quiet and the stay is relaxing. I found the overall offer too expensive for the quality. The shower gel with a pepper scent is strange. Still a good place to stay.

The room and hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were pleasant but I didn't have much interaction with them. The shampoo and soaps have a very strong smell and I would definitely recommend bringing your own. The heating also turned itself off halfway through both nights which made for an unpleasantly cold morning. The cafe in the hotel is nice for breakfast and had good menu choices. The location is the best part though. Absolutely central, 5 minutes from the main train station and walking distance to absolutely everything.

We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Our first trip in Amsterdam. The location was amazing. Close to everything and in walking distance from many sightseeing. Entering the hotel , you could see the cleaning was spotless. The receptionists always happy to help you with a smile on there face even for difficult costumers. Pasquale was the star of the receptions always kind and smiley. They even provided a free bike for us . don't forget The breakfast . It was how every day should start . In a bed that feels like a cloud and with a breakfast that will make you want to come again and again to Amsterdam just to stay in that hotel .

Excellent service and speedy response to accommodate guest needs. I couldn't recall the gentleman's name who checked me in and assisted me for the next 3 days including my earlier check in and late check out. Even the Celia cafe staff were super caring as I was so jetlagged and hungry coming to the hotel straight from the airport. Even though it was after 11am (they were closed), the lovely lady (Indonesian) and I couldn't recall her name was so kind to whip up a plate of fruits and some pastries for me. She even had another staff make me a wonderful coffee. All free of charge. Extremely helpful staff and I am really grateful for the wonderful people who took care of me during my stay. I had a great time in Amsterdam and would very much recommended the hotel to anyone. Definitely will stay here again.

11/8 Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my wife. The staff service of both front office and F&B are superb. They do a free wine hour at 5pm in the sitting area with tasty wines. Unfortunately our room had a bathtub that wouldn't drain anymore, but thankfully the front office lady(forgot her name, I'm the worst with names) offered us free breakfast as compensation, which was fantastic! We are definitely coming back! Update 16/8 We booked this hotel again for outbound holiday flight. The same front office lady who helped us so much before(I learned her name is Claudia), was there again at night. The staff at the cocktail bar were very helpful in finding the right cocktail and were very friendly. Unfortunately later at night, we had an unpleasant surprise because our neighbors decided to try and open the adjoining door to our room, which scared my wife. Security however informed the neighbors, and we didn't have anymore disturbance that night. Beds are fantastic.

Not my favorite location in Amsterdam, but we stayed here for four days when we were in between Airbnbs. The staff was amazing! We brought our dog who was given the royal treatment. They were absolutely willing to do anything for him and for us, and that made up for being in the center. Also, they had AC and a great hairdryer, which are both very hard things to find in Europe (in my experience).

First time staying here! Much better than I anticipated. Front desk was very friendly from check in to check out. The woman we conversed with regularly (forgot her name) was always smiling and greeted us. Unique and fun design inside the first floor, along with rooms themselves. Rooms felt modern and clean. Only wished the windows could open for fresh air but not a huge deal. TV worked well and beds comfortable. Breakfast Buffett was also very good. Can get busy and crowded during peak hours so try to arrive early. Hotel was able to hold onto our bags for a couple hours since the room was still being cleaned. Very helpful. All in all, a great location. Walkable to many attractions and close to train station!

Excellent modern hotel near the train station and within walking distance to all the best places. Rooms are comfortable, with chic, inspiring decor. Loved the complimentary afternoon wine hour and big umbrellas for guests to use. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel. Unfortunately they don’t tell you at checkin or online that they are assigning rooms without views, due to construction. Paid more for a room with a view but didn’t get it. Some staff is very friendly, others can be rude. However, great food and drinks. Still giving 5 stars for the staff that was friendly.

  • 5/5 Loulwa A. 1 year ago on Google
I loved the destination of the hotel, it's the centre of attraction . everything is available nearby. it's just 5 mins walk to the train station. and their services and the receptions are so kind and friendly. they make you feel home and safe. I booked premium room with twin beds it's wide and spacious. they provide free bicycle with zero fees. The only thing was the bathroom doors are visible. and sometimes they don't change the bed or duvet covers. and also they don't restore dirty towels or refill the tissues. this was the only disappointing things.

Absolutely adore the Kimpton in Amsterdam. I have stayed here 4 times and will definitely be back. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. One staff member always sticks out Pasquale! He is the best I was there back in Nov. 2021 and came back April 2022 and he remember me! Was very helpful both times and gave me great recommendations of things to do around the city.

Very good hotel and clean, staff are really respectful and helpful. Hotel restaurants were unique and elegant atmosphere. The hotel provides free bikes based on first come first serve. The prime location was very helpful especially if you are using the train.

Great property, good location near the train station. The bed was comfortable with outlets provided on both sides. The windows did not open in our room. Please add full glass to the shower enclosure!
