The worse place I have ever stayed at! For $186 per night (last min), the word TRASH is an upgrade! Most importantly, this place LIE! The room: I don’t care for the size, but the smell is unbearable! I had to buy two air fresheners to keep myself from passing out! The room also full of dust, on the bedsheet and every corner, I’m not gonna sleep tonight! Hotel integrity: CAUTION!!! Whatever you see on the website is not what you will actually be getting at your check in! This owner has 3 properties, what you see on the website is the nicest one with all the lights on. However, when you arrive, they’ll put you into the other properties, which are completely filthy (fyi, front desk told me all single room will be at that 115 property, the dirtiest one)!

They are mentally retarded. 3 days before we were going to Amsterdam they canceled our reservation when we tried to make a new booking already done for other people. Justifying that our credit card was not valid when we had requested to pay on arrival. a trash this hotel. I'm going to Amsterdam on 27 February and I have to look for another hotel now. Garbage !!

Nice little hotel for a few nights and narrow purse. The floors and rooms are very small, so this is not so good for big persons. And you have to be carefully on the fairly steep stairs. But the room and especially the shared bathroom were very clean. And the stuff was very friendly and helpful.

I was appalled by the room that we stayed in, not only was the size of it tiny but the hotel had a shared toilet and shower which is horrifying. This was not stated anywhere before our arrival. The window in the room that we stayed in was broken and wouldn’t fully open. Constant nightmare with the cards to get into the hotel, had to go twice to the reception that was in a completely different hotel to reset the cards! Definitely do not recommend.

Billed as two stars, but the size of the room and the cleanliness really surprised me. Sure, the place could do with a lick of paint and some new carpets, but all in all this hotel was great and a very good bang for buck value!

I enjoyed my at this hotel. I was given a room in the basement which some people might see as a problem but as the hotel is on a busy street with trams it was quiet and dark. The bathroom was just outside the room, modern and clean.

Nice place, one side of the road is the office some rooms, tea, coffee and breakfast facility, the other side was where we was staying after 5 flights of ladder steep stairs our box room was ok for us two lads, as a 6.2 96kg man I found the bathroom a squeeze, the owners when above and beyond to make our stay fantastic, I'd recommend this place for younger fitter weekenders, I'm taking my wife back to Amsterdam and would stay here if I could have a ground floor larger room. it's about 20 minutes walk to the central station but I do walk quickly, it's in a lovely area no drunks about and fantastic variety of shops, the hotel is on a main road with tram stops right outside, over all a small steep hotel but fantastically placed with a welcome smile, I'll put some pics of close places we went to

Stairs are so steep, that look more like a ladder. Every time it blows your mind (in a bad way). But all in all the hotel is fine

This is the best hotel during my Europe tour. So clean and I like the location.

Narrow stairs and tight bathrooms. A fridge would hace been nice, but how would they get it in? Where would it fit?

Wasn’t aware about the shared showers or the shared toilet… the rooms are VERRRY small and u can hardly move around them comfortably, the beds are uncomfortable too, you can hear other people’s conversations as the walls are paper thin.

Dirty and threadbare put me in a different hotel where rooms are NOTHING like pictures charged £50 per night more on booking .com than going rate on arrival avoid avoid avoid
