The Avocado toast was horrible, it looked like a 5 year old made it. The avocado was like mashed potatoes with too much black pepper. The coffee was super sour and tasted very burned. They told me it was because i have ordered Oat milk, i am a barrista myself and thats not how coffee is supposed to taste like. They said they have the best barrista in Amsterdam but that's 100% a lie to make you believe the coffee is supposed taste thay way. Definitely don't recommend.

It's unbelievable at one of the nicest locations to have the worse coffee in the area. I saw the place and it looked really beautiful. I decided to have a coffee and a sweet at about 11:00 as I was hanging around Amsterdam. Beautiful view of the Palace, very friendly service, nice carrot cake and a cup of coffee almost cold and the worse of all it was tasteless like some kind of dark water. Simply unelectable! I Simply had my sweet, payed and go ☹️ Sush a shame for a place like this 😕

Good location and ideal for a coffee, as they have different types of coffee. The cheesecake had a mild flavour. Fast and friendly service High prices

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes for their Iced Mocha and Iced Limonada, but left thoroughly disappointed. Both beverages were served disappointingly warm, which was a major letdown on a hot day. The Iced Mocha was more like a lukewarm chocolate milk, lacking the refreshing chill that is expected from such a drink. Similarly, the Iced Limonada was far from the icy, tangy delight I had anticipated. It felt as if they had forgotten to add ice altogether. While I appreciate a cozy atmosphere, it should not come at the expense of serving drinks at the appropriate temperature. I left the restaurant with a sense of disappointment and a thirst that remained unquenched. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Staff more busy with themselves then their guests. When entering just stay talking toneach other in stead of paying attention to their guests. A decent espresso, quality better than last time. The store itself is beautiful.

Dam Square, next to H&M. The coffee is nice, cozy, the staff is very friendly and offer quick service. There are breakfast options for your coffee. Terrace and second floor.

Only good thing about this place is location. The plate we had a side dish was actually broken plate that was sharp enough to cut someone. The toilets were disgusting! Waiters were good and polite at least

Ok place, service a bit slow .. i got cappuccino and taste wasn't good (i think espresso machine needed descaling) so i don't agree it's no 1 coffee !! I got cheese cake too which was so small ! Only good thing I would say is it looks over the dam square ..

The place is really nice and the waiters too. We ordered a vanilla latte and a rooibos tea that were actually pretty good. We ordered also two American pancake stacks (15€….) that were really bad because, first of all the recipes itself was wrong they were more like waffle consistence. Then they were small, cold and dry. On top of that we had to wait 25 minutes between the drinks and the pancakes, and that’s probably the most annoying fact. 40€ are really too much for a breakfast, but hey that’s Amsterdam!

You need a lot of patience, takes ages to get the thing you ordered... Didn't like the food so much. The location and the view is amazing. Coffee is great!!

Customer service was terrible and disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place in Amsterdam. You have a lot of other nice cafes in the area with nice and friendly customer service, and much more variety of products.

Sit right in the heart of the city center,opposite of Madame Tissaud and drink your beer.Also dont forget to Try apple pie with creme,it tastes beautiful.

One of the best cappuccino I ever had in my life. Although we were frustrated that we waited for 40 minutes, but first sip of coffee made us forget everything :D So be patient and I am sure you will enjoy your coffee

Very nice cafe in the square next to the palace. Didn't have food, but both drinks were nice and good price. Service was good and efficient but inside it is quite cramped.

It is so unfortunate to see this cafe like that. This was my favourite cafe which served best coffee in the country. But they changed their coffee, the desserts are not tasty and they said they cancelled take aways. It was a spectacular place for coffee but now it is just a regular cafe in the Dam Square. Still has the best view tho.

The bartender is very rude person. With friends we came to Naked espresso to have nice cup of coffee. They didin’t had a table for four, so, we split into two tables. Then the bartender arrogantly kicked us out, we donn’t know why. Never going back.

Hot chocolate was very rich, and with sweet whipped cream. Sadly ordering water got us bottled water instead of tap lol

We have two lattes. They tasted OK and were very hot, which we love!

Great location with a good view of Dam square from the upstairs section; however, the mocha and hot chocolate that we had were cold and tasted like they’d been prepared using store bought chocolate powder.

Was looking forward to having their coffee again when stopping by at a short layover on my way to Oslo after visiting coffee farms in Peru. Asked for an espresso at the bar but was turned down and told that I had to sit at a table… Get a grip, espresso is best enjoyed on your feet at the bar and it would have taken me one minute to finish it. A shame. Have visited them many times in their shops and met them at coffee fairs and events earlier as I’m in the specialty coffee buissnes, and got great service than.

Location is 10/10, but the place is understaffed. It seemed like very young people taking the orders. They were doing their best, but they are way too inexperienced to run a crowded location like this. I hope these kids got paid well tho. 6/10

Man was rude and told us to get out within a few minutes after we ordered, coffee was bad, ‘iced’ caramel latte was warm and didn’t taste of caramel, not worth the 5€ price at all. Worst coffee shop I’ve been to.

Had a horrible experience at this place! Went with a friend for Iced coffee and iced mocha and also asked for some tap water. The iced coffees were not cold enough and I had to ask for more ice. Had some feedback about my iced coffee not tasting good which was taken very badly by the waiter! He kept asking what was bad about the taste and I kept saying the taste wasn’t good but he started yelling saying “jeez what’s bad about the taste” and put his hand over my shoulders and asked us to leave the cafe!!! I asked him not to touch me and that he was being rude and he replied that asking for free water was rude!!! Had no idea that asking for tap water could be perceived rude anywhere! Anyway, not happy with the drinks nor with the service! Won’t ever go back!

Go to Melly's cookie bar or coffee Kultur one block further towards the canal for friendly service and good coffee. I would love to give a review on the coffee here but we were refused service. We asked for takeaway coffee and was given a rude "no takeaway" by the person manning the door. We left and went to the above mentioned cafes. I guess he wanted tip from sit down service but instead lost out on revenue for the café. Sad.

Cozy place with a good selection of drinks and really excellent coffee! For those who do not drink cow's milk there is an alternative, such as coconut, oatmeal, almond milk. I like friendly atmosphere hier. Highly recommend this cafe, cause it has its own recognizable and at the same time original style.

Whent there with my boyfriend for coffee and some breakfast. But after we got our coffee the waiter never came back for the breakfast order. In stead was eating breakfast with his colleagues behind the bar. So we paid and left, sad cause the Coffee flavor was good.

Very nice staff. Great location. Nice cakes. The coffee was OK, but i expected a better extract for the Naked espresso.

Short of staff , the waiter didn't clean the table we sat on , with no menu and asks us what we would like to order. When we said "to clean our table and have a menu " he looked as if he wants to kill us. We asked for a toast , he said it would take 20-30 min because they are short on staff. A waist of time and money.

We waited 45 min for a salad with no dressing and an omelet which was drenched in oil, burnt from the outside and raw on the inside.. do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else Also. We got charged for all of it without even an apology

Best coffee in Amsterdam. And location to beat all other cafes. Despite their location, the service is friendly and the barista is great. Everyone in Amsterdam should stop buy for coffee and fr sh pastries here. ✨

We came for coffee. 2 out of 3 coffees they brought werent what we ordered, we then waited 45 minutes for the right ones. Within those 45 minutes, 30 minutes in the waiter came to take our order again and tried to sell it as a second round of drinks, even though we sent the wrong coffees back immediately. The waitress spilled milk on me and the receipt for the 3 coffees was over 20 euros. Im pretty sure they charged us 5 coffees, we didnt see the actuall receipt.
