Really busy food market, but definitely worth a visit. Lots of cool eateries, food truck style in a way, so you cans try many different and quite flavorful and interesting dishes from the world cuisine. It’s well organized, and the ordering etc was seamless.

Very cool place! It's covered so it can be pretty hot inside. But aside from that you've got tons of nice eating place as well as bars (gin, beer, wine). Everything you need for a nice time inside! Plus you only have to order online so no need to queue or pay in cash.

We tried a variety of food and loved it. Everything we tried was delicious. We had difficulty trying to share tapas style, but we made it work. Some restaurants require to order online. Scan a QR code and pick the restaurant/meal. It is easy

We were hiding from rain in this place on our autumn trip to Amsterdam and it was one of the best choices we ever made😀even though quite crowded, it has a great atmosphere, food from all over the world of an excellent quality and taste, good music and superb drinks! Highly recommended to anyone. Prices are I would say reasonable and not super high (saying that as Eastern European, so it really is not that bad 😀).

This place is great! There’s something for everyone here…Vietnamese, Indian, seafood (including raw oyster bar), a place dedicated to meatballs (beef or vegetarian), Mediterranean, even a vegan ice cream sundae place! Went on a Thursday night and was quite lively. They have piped in music playing (it started out with Abba then moved to French pop music) and it’s a great place to meet friends or coworkers. I had a tofu noodle bowl from the Vietnamese place (15 euro) and it was delicious and super fresh. Exactly what I was looking for.

Expect this place to be busy, just about found somewhere to sit and eat out food. The people working there were mostly frosty and didn’t even crack a smile when taking orders. So the atmosphere wasn’t overly friendly or welcoming. As for the food. There are clearly a vast array of food vendors to choose from, many different cuisines which was nice to see. We tried a few spots, the tacos were very disappointing, especially the beef taco the meat was soo chewy. The poke/oysters were fresh and the bittenballen was my standout pick. Nevertheless, go check it out if you’re in Amsterdam 🇳🇱

Best place to go in Amsterdam where there’s flavors for everyone! Nice to go with friends and buy items from different stalls to all share and try. Food quality is top notch but the cocktails felt a bit watered down, maybe go for a beer or wine instead. Highly recommend! Very nice atmosphere too!

Extremely busy and warm but full of life, food options and seating. Only bad side to things were the prices but the food quality was great. We all ordered different food and enjoyed it greatly. Maybe the one of the best pizza I've eaten in a long time!

Great idea. Basically, it's a giant pub/restaurant except it's a food hall. Good selection of offerings for meat lovers and vegans alike. I went on a Friday night, and the atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. Most of the food stalls start to close up around 9pm, although a few seem to keep going depending on demand. Drinks around €4.50 for a beer and €9 for a cocktail.

I tried sushi there and from an Asian view, they were tasty. But it is difficult to find a table here. I love the atmosphere with DJ, music, crowd…all enjoy the night. There’s also a room to watch football on 2nd floor.

Location is great, too many choices for one day. Some foodstalls are really pricey there, i would take my time to check every stand and compare. It also get crowded fast and they often don't open the seating area upstairs. I recommend coming on weekdays and before dinner time.

A wonderful place where you can sip your drink and chat with your friends, accompanied by various street flavors that occasionally include DJ performances. We ate hamburgers and fries at The Butcher. You can have a delicious cheeseburger for €11. You can get any drink you want from the bar right across the butcher.

Very nice place to try some particular food. There is a great variety of stands, all of which offer freshly made food. The location is quite central, quite close to vondelpark. Prices are on average but they may be a bit cheaper. The only downside is that it’s kinda “small”, so it gets quite hot and there is a very intense smell of fried, which is not super great but it also is not a drama. So overall I would definitely recommend trying it!

Great place to have lunch or dinner, especially when you want to try different things and types of cuisines. It's also good when it's rainy and you are looking for a sheltered venue. It reminds us of London food markets! We highly recommend on the noodles and Vietnamese stands!

I would have given a solid 5 stars for this food court if the service was a bit better. I throughly enjoyed my food but almost all the staff in every food stall felt like they didn't want to be there. One lady even closed the stall in front of me when i was just asking if they were still serving. The staff at the seafood place was also not accommodating. Besides this, the food was thoroughly enjoyable and the vibe of the place was really wonderful. I would like to come back again and hope the service would be a bit better

Various choices for different type of foods! Vietnamese, Japanese, burgers, seafood, dim sum, noodles and etc! For the drink too there’s various options. Best place for gathering with friends and sometime there will be the cool DJ and having some cool dance floor! The staff there are the friendliest I ever met!

We had lunch today at Foodhallen and we were delighted by the international culinary spread. We kicked off with some traditional Dutch bitterballen before diving into a fried chicken burger, a loaded hot dog with bacon and chips, and some fresh sushi. Each dish was tasty and made from quality ingredients. The place was buzzing with a lively atmosphere, offering fantastic choices for everyone. A food haven in the heart of Amsterdam!

Absolutely love coming here. There are options from cuisines from all over the world such as Chinese, South American, Burgers, Cakes & desserts , Hot Dogs, Vietnamese, Mediterranean, Indian, Italian, and more. There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options available too. It’s sometimes a bit loud but it’s a huge hall, so it’s understandable. Attached are workshops for bikes, clothes and more too, nice for browsing after food.

Visited this restaurant complex recently and it was truly an exceptional experience! Tried several restaurants here, and each one served dishes that were delicious beyond description. The overall atmosphere in the complex is so amazing.🤩 Highly recommend visiting this complex for anyone looking for a great dining experience. It’s rare to find a place that brings together such a wide variety of good restaurants in one location.

Such a nice market!! There are clothing & jewellery stands and a food hall with lots of options. Good vegan & vegetarian options aswell within the food vendors. Outside the market hall there is a street with more food stands & fresh grocery stands (hummus, bread, cheeses etc). Would really recommend as it is enclosed, so good when it’s raining, and has a diverse range of stalls.

One of the best places for a foodie in Amsterdam! This was my third visit to the city and I’d never been before, we ended up going twice over our few days! Amazing selection and plenty of smaller snack sized options if you want to sample more than one type of food. Highly recommend the Sushi! Getting a seat in the evening can be a pain, if there’s a few of you then you’re only option is a synchronised hover across the area to find someone leaving. Failing that there is seating outside but you definitely lose the atmosphere so only do that as a last resort!

FIND A SEAT AS SOON AS YOU CAN. The first time we went was on a Sunday, so we weren’t surprised when most of the stalls were away for 40 minutes or had run out of food. However we then went on a Tuesday evening and everything seemed to be running smooth. Food was delicious. If you love Mac and Cheese, I’d recommend the meatball stand. If you like Greek style food there’s a couple stalls perfect for this. One with a watermelon salad which my partner loved. And the women there was so lovely and recommended something delicious on the Sunday when she didn’t have watermelon. Be warned that there is limited seats for the amount of people and stalls that there is. However sometimes going outside there are bins that you could use for standing tables.

I had the best experience ever in Foodhallen (and they posted this first pic on their Instagram, so nice!). The food and the beer were both amazing (we had difficulty trying to choose one option, there are so many 🤣). Hopefully one day we will be able to come back. Super recommended!

Nice place to go to try a variety of food. Due to corona, they have a good system to order through the phone from each stall. Service for drinks was fast enough but we also came here on a weekday evening when it was quite empty.

Lovely place like so many bit cities , a melting pot for cuisine from all Over the world, loads of sharing style and individual portions , few bars dotted around with various drinks options from beers wine and more ! We enjoyed ourselves downstairs and later the upstairs bit opens, that was air conditioned so made a lot of difference with the weather being 30deg

You can find here a great variety of food from different parts of the world. However the place is a bit crowded and finding a table can take a bit long. Other than that the food was amazing. I will definitely come back.

Great place with load of food and drinks options. In an enclosed space. A couple of art exhibits and shops around. Service is standard. Good is great. Atmosphere hip. It could be very busy.

Such a great space away from the crowds. Lots of different food stalls offering a variety of cuisines. Personally didn't love the hot dog stall we got food from but it was nice enough. Did enjoy the bitterballen! Also seemingly one of the few places with toilets which you do not have to pay to use.

A wonderful place to spend an evening… if you can get a table! We spent some time Drinking in the bar at the very end of the food hall waiting around for a table to come available however it was 100% worth the wait and the drinks we had there were fabulous too. We tried the dim sum platter which was fabulous. Great for a couple to taste test the menu and I can safely say everything we did try was fantastic. Then we moved onto the banh mi, we had the pork belly and I can confidently say it’s one of the best things I have ever eaten! I’d you are going to foodhallen you just must try. We also had a blue cheese burger which fell a little flat in comparison but still lovely nonetheless. We had to walk all the way back the next day purely for the bahn mi. I cannot express how much we enjoyed it. Foodhallen is a must try for any foodies taking on Amsterdam.

Lots of vendors to choose from. We had hotdogs that were really delicious. However it was very busy so can be a struggle to get a seat. Luckily, we were able to sit at the bar where there are reasonably priced drink options available. Will be going back to try more!

The food is great, but some options can be on the more expensive side. The atmosphere is great! Since the place is popular, you need to hunt for a seat.

Great selection of food choices, the desserts looked good too. I wouldn't recommend the Goats cheese balls (see photo) as they didn't taste of anything :( But the veggie hummus wrap was delicious which was the stall next but one to the De Ballen Bar. If you're from Manchester UK it's very similar vibes to Mackie Mayor.

It is a nice experience and prob great for big group that cannot decide for one cuisine. The choice of food is huge, ranging from Greek to Asian Cuisine. We had five different types of Meatball from the Ballenbar (Tasting selection). It was good and the waiting time was okay. Our favorite was the spinach one! We also had a little dessert from the French bakery. Definitely try the maracuja lemon tart! It’s absolutely delicious.

We dined here on our first night while vacationing in the city. Perfect for a low maintenance dinner experience. The oysters were delicious, the gin cocktails were fresh and fun, and the Vietnamese bowls were beyond good! There was a DJ playing music that created a great ambiance to the whole place. So glad we went.

Great experience to visit here, not too far out of central Amsterdam and easy to get to for tourists. The lines were not too long for each place and it was a great vibe to have everything under the same roof. My favorite was the falafel from pita, delicious!

I ate from the ‘Holy Fried Chicken’ stall. Had a chicken burger and fries. €12.98. Not Inc a beer! The small portion of fries was €5.99!!!! Not worth it at all. Chicken burger was nice but not anything like nice enough. Total rip off. Photo is a small beer not a pint!

Great food hall, fun and tasty selection of various food. Especially enjoyed the sushi and Vietnamese food. Could be hard to find seats, open until 12 but many stalls close at around 10.

A fantastic place to chill and enjoy food. It’s really clean and the food is of an excellent quality. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the food on offer is fantastic, other things are overpriced- so just be careful what you order. I’d definitely recommend the Ballenbar.

Wide selection of different foods and drink. Come early to get a seat because it does get busy. They have live music some evenings and local vendors selling items out by the entrance. I found some really great knit sweaters by chance one evening. Would definitely recommend a visit.
