Although the place and service are great, the pancakes were not. The plates are presented really nicely, but they look a lot better than what they taste. We ordered the Infamous and the Ice Ice Baby. The pancakes were dry, rather tasteless, and had way too much cinnamon on top. The pistachio ice cream tasted like lavender. However, the juices were delicious and the bacon was amazing. Doubt I’d go back though.

Amazing food and delicious pancakes! The portions are very generous and well prepared. The serving time is very quick and the waiters are all very kind! We were there around 11am and were very happy to be seated right away but the place filled up quite quickly and some waiting time can be expected to get a table. The only improvement point in my opinion would be the coffee. Overall, the place was great. I fully recommend and I will surely return!

Overall a disappointment. Both pancakes were dry and flavourless. I expected at least the sweet pancakes to have sugar in the batter but it didn't and we got up to get a bottle of honey. I think every table should have honey or maple syrup without asking, it's pancakes. The pistachio ice cream on top also had almost no sugar and didn't taste like pistachios even?? You can 100% make better pancakes at home for way less.

This place did not live up to its popularity. I was quite excited to try out this place out as it had such good reviews and it was quite full of people, however it greatly disappointed me. I ordered the blue magic deluxe pancakes and they were quite dry, they were somewhat flavorless, and the fruit was rotten. I was not happy as I paid extra money for extra fruit and I ended up not being able to eat it due to its state (see picture). As for the drink, I ordered a matcha latte and it was quite flavorless and overall not nice. I was not able to finish neither my food nor my drink due to these issues. The prices were elevated given the quality of the food. The only positives of this place is that it’s decoration is quite nice, thus making the place look pretty and the waitresses were polite and tried to be attentive despite the fullness of the restaurant. Overall, I would not recommend stopping at this place for some brunch. It is expensive, the food is not good, and there are better places around Amsterdam to enjoy something similar.

This for me was definitely a restaurant tik tok overhyped. I went there because Tik Tok recommended it for brunch. I will say I loved the music but the food wasn’t great. My boyfriend gave his food a 7 out of 10 for saltiness. I got Flavor in your ear which is smoked salmon and avocado on toast. My boyfriend got the Bubba Sparkxxx. My food was just okay. The service was not great but also not terrible. We ordered two sparkling waters which we waited on about 10 mins just so they could be delivered to the table next to us. The waiter immediately brought two more but at that point I waited another 8 mins to get his attention and 4 to bring it out while eatting dry toast 😭. He apologized and I do appreciate that. Overall I feel the restaurant is nothing to write home about. We didn’t try the pancakes which is what the restaurant is known for so I may be bias with this review. I’m just speaking from my experience only.

The staff was really sweet and the food was delicious. I particularly appreciated the generous quantity of smoked salmon on my toast 😍 I would totally come back just to get to try their saffron and pistachio ice cream!

Nothing is like the pictures or even google review pictures . Didn’t enjoy the experience because the waitress was clueless and inattentive and ignored all our requests . The pancake was so soaked with sauce , the chocolate wasn’t a good kind. They have nice branding and marketing but the food doesn’t live up to it . Menu was an interesting read. More a vibe than good food .

    I loved this branch for Moak, very decorative, modern and vibrant. The pancakes (savory or sweet) tastes super delicious. They have lots of varieties which satisfy all tastes. The presentation for the plates is very good. Staff are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. { recommend to try }

Had to wait in que, however we were seen to and did not have to wait long, the place was busy. Staff were helpful and explained any questions very well. Food was decent size and reasonably priced for Amsterdam. I enjoyed the subtle watermelon juice flavour.

The first impressions is always important, the place is very neat, well put in place, great interior design and style. The staff are nice, they gave me my space to choose then came and take the order and was kind. The pancakes and drinks ordered were really good and the amount is really big. Definitely recommended!

One of the few pancake places in Amsterdam that we could find. Nice interior and nice staff. Seemed a bit hipster-ey, all pancakes seemed to be whole wheat and sugar free, probably a good thing health-wise but when you want tasty American style pancakes they’re not quite the same, not terrible though. Clearly good quality ingredients. The chocolate sauce though isn’t worth getting, it’s not the nice sort, like Nutella, it’s a cheap tasting, dark tasting sauce. The syrup and fruit however was good. Coffee was very good and the apple juice was amazing!

We felt very welcome ♥️ But the pancakes were not that special. Honestly the pancakes were a little dry and thin. And in my option the plate that they serve the pancakes on looks like a white pizza plate. As I just said, we’ve had better but I give 4 stars because we felt very welcome there was a positive vibe and it was very sunny ☀️

Super nice bar to experience american pancakes. Both sweets and savory options available. Everything is made with oat milk. Toilet downstairs super clean, amazing staff! Need to come back here asap!

It’s an interesting concept and prices are fair. The kitchen is notably slow. There’s a dish for every taste, there’s a wide variety. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, though the pancakes itself where not the best. They feel raw or undercooked, are a little dry, and are not that flavorful.

Amazing pancakes. Good food, service and coffee too. The maple syrup whipped cream was so good. Will be back!

We had cappuccino, espresso, pancakes with strawberries and greek yogurt, pancakes with banana, dates and peanut butter and a salmon-based one. The plate was quite filling and tasty, especially the banana one. Giving 4 to food because the cappuccino was only available with oat milk, which I think should be stated more clearly. Friendly staff and nice place.

Super chilled out atmosphere at MOAK, with a really cool aesthetic. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pancakes were some of the best I've ever had (I had the Blue Magic vegan option with an oat latte). Perfect way to start my day and I will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

The pancakes were pretty good. I liked the pancake itself, the toppings were fresh and overall quite satisfied. Their chocolate sauce had kind of a cocoa powder taste, would change it with something closer to a hazelnut spread.

The best pancake I’ve ever had. Nice restaurant with very friendly and comforting atmosphere.

This place is off the chart! The pancakes were delicious and the homemade chocolate sauce was gorgeous. Really lovely staff and the vibes of the whole place was lush. Maple iced coffee was 👌👌👌

A pancake joint of two halves: the service is what I’d euphemistically call ‘casual & relaxed’ - slightly grumpy looking staff needed prompting to take our order, to bring the drinks we ordered, they forgot sugar etc. If I didn’t know any better I’d say they’d been puffin’ the ‘erb. HOWEVER, the food was delightful. The hummus and green peppers on toast was a lovely surprise and the chocolate & fruit smothered pancakes likewise. Fantastic food saved the day completely.

Absolutely delicious breakfast option. We actually went to two different places prior (one had half their menu sold out and the other waitlist was too long) and I’m so thankful we ended up here. All the food is fresh that they make. My husband got the No Diggity pancakes with chocolate ice cream. He thought the chocolate ice cream was a nice touch, and ended up adding a side of the homemade maple whipped cream that I had with mine because it was so delicious. I got the Blue Magic Deluxe pancakes. The fruit was really fresh and of course the maple whipped cream was to die for. We also shared the IMA Boss toast for some added protein, which had really nice flavors and was excellent. Limited seating indoors, bathrooms located down below. I believe they also have a bar/speakeasy down there I saw on the back of their menu to scan the QR code. We would definitely be back!!

Amazing pancakes and super friendly staff. I had the Big Mama which was delicious. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Great pancakes, without a doubt they know how to serve good pancakes with all sorts of good options so anyone visiting for that will be happy. Unfortunately the staff and atmosphere let us down a little, staff wasn't at all attentive. Twice we asked for water before I got up and requested it from someone behind the bar, coffee is out of a automatic machine.... if you're a coffee snob you know that's a bad sign! Finally the walls and fixtures felt cheap, not a fan of fake flowers and tacky décor - for sure they're making enough batter to spruce it up a bit 😉

Finally I visited this place with friends and loved everything that we ordered, we arrived at lunch time so we had to make a line for about 5 minutes but no big deal, the staffs are all quite friendly all the time, good and fast service so you don’t have to wait to long to eat, we ordered different pancakes to try out and was absolutely yummy one of the best, we had the sweet ones and the salty and definitely the sweet one won the best! The portions are quite big so its good to order few to share, the juices are natural & fresh, super good, i loved the interior and the design and all the details, the names from the menu very creative, definitely this one you must go to try if you are in Amsterdam! 🥞✌🏻🧡

I visited with my friend the day after Christmas and the restaurant was so busy! It was being run by only 3 employees so they were rushing around in order to get everything done. Due to their efforts, we were seated relatively quickly and our food also came out soon after ordering it. I ordered the vegan toast and a latte, and both were delicious.

Amazing pancakes! Best in Amsterdam by far. Pancakes are full, fluffy and super savory! (Not flat crepe style) Large variety, bound to find something for every taste. Gives me trendy, hip vibes and great for picture posts. Great and quick service. Our server, Gianfranco was friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!!!

Really lovely pancakes - sometimes it is easy for these to be dry but they were moist and tasted delicious. The space is very nicely decorated and there are so many options for panckakes I didn’t know which to choose. Good coffee and I like the oat milk is standard too.

Very generous portions of pancakes. I had the Good Morning and filled me up well for the visit to the Rijks! Loved the texture of the granola and strawberries. We came around 10am on a weekday when not too many people so it was quite tranquil. Love the skylight!

Came here with my friend for brunch and ordered the Ice Ice Baby! I liked the pancakes but they seemed pretty standard in my opinion. The ice cream was very interesting, very light, yet buttery? The shop is very cute and has a light and fun ambiance — very cute for photos!

Fun and cool style, great service, plenty of locations, own branded maple syrup is delicious. It goes really well with the wholegrain pancakes . I've never tasted pancakes as good. There are so many topping choices , my favourite is the bacon and maple syrup pancake.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
