I really wanted to love this hotel because it was so conveniently located, but I would be lying to myself. First, it is severely overpriced for what you get in value. Second, when I first arrived at the hotel I lifted my bed sheets to check for bed bugs (like I would at any other hotel). While I didn’t find any bed bugs, I was shocked to see dirt, strands of hair, and grime on the mattress cover directly under the sheets. This was an unpleasant sight of course, and speaks volumes to what kind of cleaning the hotel does in places that aren’t immediately obvious. Again, in between the bed frame and the mattress was an area I don’t think has ever been wiped as there was dust gathering and it was obvious that it had been there for a while. I stayed here for two nights and it was fine, but I would not recommend it to anyone. If you’re literally just looking for a roof over your head and don’t care about anything else, then by all means.

This hotel is best for couples. The room was cosy and spacious given that I thought it would be a far smaller from what I saw in the photos. Everything was clean and it smelled nice, there were clean towels left in the bathroom, lots of soap and shower gel. The only thing that I didn't like about the rooms was that you can not open the windows which is a bit inconvenient if you are staying for longer period of time, it is obvious you need some fresh air in the room. The breakfast was from 7 to 11 AM, which I thought it was great since I'm not a morning persob. Food was nice, but the dining area was quite small. Overall would recommend if you are travelling with a close friend or partner and are looking for a cosy place, very well connected to the city center. The metro station is less than 1 minute away.

Good hotel and budget friendly. What I liked: eco-friendly options, for example - "don't clean my room - plant the tree instead", tea, coffee, water - available (at the room price) 24/7, great choice for breakfast which was also included in the room price, clean room, comfy bed, bathroom with everything you might need. What I didn't like: in our room was quite dark even if you switch on all lights. I wasn't mad about the location when I saw it - near a busy road, however I have to admit that the room was quiet. We didn't also have a window but we didn't come to sit in the hotel all day so it didn't bother us. The hotel is located around half an hour walking from the centre. Not too bad. Very friendly and nice staff. Thank you. I can recommend it.

Such an amazing place! The staff was so friendly, especially a girl with dark hair. She always made sure we were satisfied and when we had trouble with our key she helped us to get some cool drinks when waiting. The rooms are so nice as well! Soft big beds, good AC for hot nights, fresh and clean bathroom. The hotel is in the south part from Amsterdam. To go to the city you can either walk (45 min) or take the metro or tram which is literally 50 meters from the hotel. We are so happy with our stay!!

Most important the great location. Less than 5 minutes walking distance from Metro station and train station. Only 4 stops away from the city centre. Although the hotel is very near to the above mentioned stations, it is very quiet. The staff are friendly and very polite. The hotel as well as the room were very clean. The room was comfortable. I really liked the bathroom with some smart messages on its wall and especially the shower with a very good water pressure! In the room there was not a water boiler and during our check out I found out that there is free hot water in the reception. There was also no mini fridge available or a telephone to reach reception. Also on them Tv we could not connect to Netflix even through our mobiles as it was blocked. The bathroom door could not close. Finally for a cost of 137 euros per night for a double room breakfast was not included.

Wonderful hotel, perfect employees! This is our second Qbic stay and it won't be the last for sure... My wife was pregnant and whatever she needed they provided. Staff was very kind as always. 24/7 they are ready for you... Great breakfast, great coffee, great treats at the lobby. location is not so close to the center but its near the metro, tram and train stations and it takes 12 mins to the central station and 7 minutes to the Schipol airport. Its actually good, really comfortable at nights, you can rest and chill easily with no music and shouting sounds...

Terrible. As I walked in it gave me youth hostel vibes. The set up of the rooms don't make sense. Niced sized but very small bathrooms. The reception in an eye sore and the beds are solid as a rock. It was literally the most uncomfortable sleep I've had in a hotel ever. I actually ended up placing my pillow under my chest and cheeks to be able to lie on my front. My younger sister said it felt like she had fallen asleep outside on the floor and someone had come and covered her with a blanket. The walls are stupidly thin so we can hear everything our neighbour say. To top it all off we came to celebrate my sisters 25th but will not be spending any time in our hotel over the weekend. **Update.... I spoke to the day staff in the morning after requesting to be refunded for my remaining days and we were upgraded to a newer room with a much better set up and more importantly a DECENT BED

Pros: location was great. very short walk to the Amsterdam zuid station. Also lots of restaurant around. Bed was comfortable. Cons: room was small. The bed and the bathroom were a module together. The bathroom floor was one foot off the room floor so you basically climbing in the bathroom. A tripping hazard especially if you need to use it midnight. The shower stall was half open and there's no floor drainage, so after you showered, the bathroom was flooded.Almost no sound insulation at all so you hear every thing.

Not a "business class" hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located for public transportation and is a short walk to the RAI convention center. There are restaurants adjacent to the hotel and serve a simple, but decent, breakfast for the price. Scrambled eggs, croissants, bread, cheese, fruit, cold cuts. The room is not suitable for working. There is a shallow counter with a couple of extremely uncomfortable bar stools. There was one weird chair to sit in but it was very low to the floor so it was only there for lounging. There are no night stands to place any electronics, etc. The bathroom was okay but there was a very tall step up to get into it. When you leave the room and take your key, the power disconnects to the all the lights and outlets, so if you leave any electronics plugged in they will not get any power. If you leave your spare room key in the key holder that activates the power to the room, housekeeping will remove, which turns off the power. The staff are all very friendly and efficient.

This one star review comes solely from the fact that although they have a luggage room, our bags with all our belongings were left outside in the corridor where the rooms are. We had our laptops, passports and all valuables in there just laying for anyone to steal them. I find it unacceptable that we were asured that they'd be kept safe, even gave us a numbered ticket to identify them. We then went back to the hotel and gave the tickets to the receptionist, and he walked into the corridor and simply says "Oh they're already outside" as if that was completely fine. I can't stress the word unacceptable any further. (And before you say you didn't find any booking on my name, it's because it was booked on my partner's name since he arrived a day before me. Our stay was the 3rd - 6th of February 2022).

I loved simply everything about this place, BUT problem for me was inability to turn off AC. It dries out air too much and nothing is done to make air back to normal, this is not the comfort issue this is the health issue, after 1 hour in room i got dry throat dry mouth dry lips that start to be wounded, my nose starts bleeding in the morning because too dry air, if the hotel solves this problem it will be best place to stay. I was fine with bathroom door, also they do have shower gel/cream. So the air was the only problem causing nosebleeding etc... Oh nad special thanks for having free coffee/tea machine near reception, as well as lemonade, that is a huge plus for 3star hotel, would be great to know before booking as for some people it would help to choose this hotel. ****Bar chairs can be adjusted and made lower... For those who didn't know that The low red huge armchair was amazing i want this one to have at home

Wonderful staff and a great location with the public transport so close by. We’ve spent 2 nights with Qbic, and the staff was so helpful and kind. Whenever we had questions, they would take their time to help us and share their recommendations for the city. Coffee, tea and a piece of cake is free, and the bed in the hotel room was very comfortable. We’re definitely coming back.

Very friendly front desk service. The room was very comfortable and quiet. You are about 15 mins away from major tourist attractions. I really enjoyed my time here. The metro, tram and buses are a 7 min walk from the hotel.

Stayed for 1 night. Very basic hotel, kinda funky, nice stuff. Lots of plastic and artificial material everywhere. I had a room without a window, which I do not recommend. Location is good. It’s very efficient.

We stayed here for a night just for transitting between Amsterdam and Paris. It took us 10mins travel by metro from Amsterdam Centraal without any hassles. Very friendly staff upon checking in. Rooms was just nice for our short stay and shower was hot and with good pressure. Notably they offer complimentary coffee and some snacks at the common area, which to go cups are available. That I think was very considerate. Breakfast is available upon purchase. Highly recommended.

I was in a room without windows and the air conditioning was so loud that my phone could capture the noise perfectly, if i wasn't so exhausted it would have been impossible to sleep. When i asked if there was something wrong they told me (without even coming to check) that there wasn't anything they could do. When i entered the room it was dirty (keep in mind that i went there with a day of delay, so they had all the time in the world to clean it) . I walked with socks on for 2 minutes and my socks became dark immediately, the bed was clearly dirty from the custumer before. There was hair everywhere in the sheets and pillows. When i asked to change them they arrived 30 minutes later and the maid was rude and with a strong odor that stayed in the room after she was gone. When she removed the sheets there was a mattres cover stained with multiple yellow spots and even red ones. I had to fight her into changing that too because "what do you expect from an hotel? It's like this everywhere". She changed it into a clean one and then told me to make the bed myself. I didn't do ut and she had to make it while being visibly and loudly annoyed for being asked to do her job. The reception was rude about everything. Overall, not recommended at all.

I like this hotel. People who works here are very friendly and always try to help. There is a good WiFi, a big bike parking in front of the hotel. There is also bike rental in the hotel by good price. You can find free pump for bike wheels. We were living here during 2 weeks. All the guests can take free croissants and tea and coffee. We also could use the fridge and microwave. I liked they gave us free breakfast for 1 morning and small sweet gifts after our check-out. You can also use automatic check-in desk. Thanks to this hotel!

If you only need a place to sleep while traveling- Qbic Hotel is a perfect place. It's clean and is located next to the train station. Good - clean shower. Good towels. Very slow hairdryer. To mix water to shower is a hassle. Either it gets to warm or too gold. Beg was good. Good room service. However, if you are not a heavy sleeper this place isn't for you. The acoustic is quite bad.. you hear people talking in the corridor, closing the doors, or just walking. I like the design. Quite special. However, I took the room without a window.. I realized this is not really the easy thing. You wake up in total darkness. I would stay at Qbic again, however in a room with a window.

Good location and close to the train station & RAI. Unfortunately I was in the room next to reception, so it was very noisy and I could barely sleep. From the street it was possible to see inside room so I had to keep the curtains closed as there’s always people smoking outside. Overall it wasn’t enjoyable for me and I wouldn’t stay again, although I’m sure it’s because of the room I was given.

A great base to exploring Amsterdam on a two day layover. Next to Zuid Station which is less than 10 minutes by transit from both the airport and Centraal Station. Rooms are relatively small by very efficiently laid out. Self check in/out is very straightforward and fast. Good coffee and tea complimentary. Bike rental and baggage storage made it easy for us to get out and about for a half day before our flight. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Great service from the location from all attendees. Kind and welcoming individuals working the front counter. Rooms are clean and comfy however my room lacked a window, which was depressing but if you're travelling to the Netherlands, you're not really suppose to just stay in your room all day so this is negliable. Location is fantastic as it is a short walk from the train station that can get you to the airport in 14 minutes time from approx 5 euro per person. Amsterdam has many modes of transportation to get you to any point of interest and this location can get you to either with just a 5 minute walk.

Great hotel, clean, with good quality service depending on your budget and the season of booking. I would like to greet the front desk staff, especially Louisiane for her help, availability and joyful spirit. I will book there in future trips to the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

Room (1st floor) with window towards stairs of the trade center, if I open the curtains I face people in the stairs. Drilling noise in building until 10pm Good points : service of the girl at reception, location (for my business trip), bed quite comfortable.

Lovely cozy hotel with kind and helpful staff, very nice big room which was quite clean, bathroom doesn't didn't really close, seemed too big for the frame but not a huge deal! Very good location literally 2 minutes from Amsterdam South with great access to metro lines

Qbic Hotel is an affordable option in Amsterdam, and combines a professional staff with a great location, and adequate rooms. The hotel is located right by metro and train station Zuid, ~5 minutes from Schiphol and ~10 minutes from central Amsterdam. It is a great option if you want an affordable and practical stay in Amsterdam, being close to the city’s attractions, but away from the majority of tourists. The staff is kind and friendly, with a 24/7 reception ready to help you if needed.

I think that this hotel offers some advantages, 1st one being the proximity of the Zuid station, super convenient to go in the city center in less than 15 min by metro. Second one, is the affordable price for Amsterdam, the rooms have a futuristic touch while offering a big bed and some coffee capsules. The room is spacious. Oh and they rent some bikes, quite convenient but not the best price for the quality. Some disadvantages, well the bathroom is a bit tiny and I’m not tall, and don’t come with a toilet brush nor a small closed bin in the bathroom. Please include a toilet brush (can be asked at the lobby) and a bin. The A/C can be a bit hard to control but we managed it after a day, the system is a bit slow but totally works. Overall, it was an pleasant stay in this Qbic hotel. Thanks to the friendly staff and cleaning staff as well.

Was a bit apprehensive about staying here as I saw some negative reviews but I thought I’d take a chance given the price and how great the transport links seemed. From the offset, the staff were amazing. I had emailed and requested balloons to be put up as it was the person i was travelling with a birthday and they were happy to do this! They replied very quickly and were so polite. When we arrived, the staff were pleasant and very friendly. The rooms were spotless and very spacious, i was very impressed. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels were left for us. The only thing I could even fault the hotel on, and it’s minor, is that they don’t have a bin in the toilet but there is still one in the room. The staff helped me order food on UberEats as I don’t speak Dutch, which i thought was lovely. Overall, an amazing stay with the metro a stone throw away and the most friendly staff! I will 100% be back.

It is located in a nice place right at the entrance of the metro. During our stay our AC didn't work and our shower drain was clogged. Those wallpapers in the bed wall are really weird.

Super great place to stay at. The personals are extremely kind and attentive to your needs. The room was super clean and cleaned during the day. Super great location with the metro really near. Will surely come back there at my next Amsterdam trip. Thank you again to the staff who were extremely perfect with me.

Great deal for the price! Good breakfast, bikes you can rent for your stay, and other conveniences like snacks for purchase, ice, etc. About 2 miles from the city center canal area but with bike rentals and metro station right out front it's very easy to get anywhere. We LOVED the location, the staff, and the amenities. Of course it's more like a hostel than a luxury hotel but it's nice enough and it's a very good deal. Rent the bikes - travel like a local!

  • 4/5 Co B. 1 year ago on Google
Very good for the relative pricing, can't lock the bathroom though! As Amsterdam can be quite expensive this hotel gives you everything you need for a good price. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and we were suprised of the breakfast as we didn't expect too much. There were some basic things missing though, no toilet brush and no lock on the bathroom door for example. Just know where and with whom you are going! You can quickly get to the station and easily reach the city center.

  • 5/5 Nidhi S. 2 years ago on Google
"Best experience" as tourists. We would definitely recommend this one. The hotel room was nice and staff is very supportive. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast as well. If you prefer your breakfast in hotel, then we would recommend go for hotel room and breakfast booking combo online. The hotel location is just perfect, right outside the zuid station and close to bus stops. You also have cafe, restaurants and grocery store in few metres distance.

  • 4/5 Mick H. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is next to the world trade centre and there's lots of eateries within walking distance. It's a very modern area with some impressive buildings and there's a metro station near by and the city centre about 5km away. The hotel is clean and modern and the staff helpful. I think it's a good alternative to the over crowded city centre.

Hotel staff were lovely! Such a great location for transport around Amsterdam. Free tea/coffee to keep you going which is great! Only critique is there is no way to connect the television to wifi for British channels and you can only cast from an android phone which isn’t great! Could have done with 2 more pillows aswell! Overall great experience!

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We dropped off our bags early on day of check in, and left them there for safe-keeping on the day of checkout. Great option.
