👍👍 I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Pure Boats Amsterdam! I booked a private canal trip to propose to my now fiancé, and the team were incredibly accommodating and worked hard to make the experience absolutely magical. Marco was our captain for the tour, and he was awesome!... People often mention boat, tour, Amsterdam, cruise, experience, great, Pure, canal, guide, Boats,

This is my second time to experience the boat tour with Pure boat company and this time the experience really different than the first time. Pure boat company has great customer service and is very willing to receive the feedbacks from guests. Our captain- James is really friendly and helpful to give the full introduction of the boat facilities & during the trip - he also engaged a lot for sharing the Amsterdam canal history & helping us with all the service we need. James also informed us all the details of the service, such as beverage service and making the lounge sofa bed for us! Each of my friends had so much fun, especially 2 of my birthday friends enjoyed it a lot!

I booked a private canal trip to propose to my now fiancé, and the team were incredibly accommodating and worked hard to make the experience absolutely magical. Marco was our captain for the tour, and he was awesome! He took photos for us and ensured were were in the perfect, private canal spot for the big moment. We will be booking another trip with them whenever we return to Amsterdam.

We took the 9:15 pm canal cruise with cheese and wine. The city was beautiful at night and I could still take photos since it was so lit up. The cheese and crackers were so good and the wine was good as well. The captain was very accommodating and when I mentioned it was booked for my daughter's 18th birthday he made her feel special! Highly recommended!!

Absolutely brilliant!! An absolute must when visiting. This was a birthday surprise for me and was so good. How else can you explain cheese and beer. Thank you to our host who made this a memory we won’t forget.

We loved the Amsterdam lights tour. Highly recommended! We enjoyed a few light bites (pretzels, two cheeses, some fruit, pita chips) and an open bar (two local beers, Spanish cava, gluhwein, rose, red wine options, soft drinks). Our tour guide was very friendly and personable. He told us great stories and about each art installation.

Our evening cruise was amazing! We loved the guide's explanations about Amsterdam, the history & architecture of this city. We were 6 people on the boat and that is perfect. We highly recommend this tour, Amsterdam is magical by night, even more with Pure Boats!

I booked this for me and my wife as we were staying in Amsterdam for a few nights and it was brilliant!! Definitely the highlight of our trip. We booked the 11am Highlights of Amsterdam Cruise, firstly noticed how beautiful the boat was and all the dining set out on it. We were kindly greeted by the captain who was a really lovely guy. We all had a lovely apple pie, strawberries and whipped cream along side every alcoholic or soft drink you could think of! Plus he said to help ourselves to more drink if we wanted. His tour was incredibly informative and very interesting about the canals and Amsterdams history, a real good character as he made us all laugh along the way. The boat is electric so really nice to cruise around in as it’s so quiet. I will say after being in Amsterdam for 4 days the boat was by far the nicest one we saw on the canals. To sum it up it was bloody brilliant and I’m so glad I booked. Thank you pure boats

Hands-down the best boat tour in Amsterdam! The wooden boat, 12 person, is beautiful. Two dozen roses and great snacks were present on the tables as you walk in. Burt the guide was funny and very informative. The tour created interaction with the guests and clearly we were the happiest boat on the water!

Booked the Amsterdam breakfast cruise for our family. Food and drinks were delightful. Canals were very quiet early in the morning, like we had the city canals to ourselves! Our guide was super knowledgeable and the charm of the smaller canals that the larger boats can’t go down brings a sense of tranquility that can’t be matched. Highly recommend this experience!

Spent a beautiful, relaxed Saturday morning cruising along the canals last weekend with Micha as our Captain. It was the perfect start to a day taking in all the scenery and chilling out. Micha was very attentive, engaging, informative, funny but not at all overbearing which was perfect for us. Will definitely be booking again with Pure Boats when we are back again next year and will book the longer 2hour cruise. Highly recommended

Wonderful trip with the Schollevaar; a clean, silent and good looking boat packed with all your needed drinks and snacks. Combine this with a very knowledgeable guide that knows a lot of interesting facts about the city, this is the best trip you can book!

I just loved our Anniversary cruise with Pure Boats. The boat itself is perfect and has been lovingly restored by the team at Pure Boats. It has everything you need on board (including REFRIGERATED drinks and TOILET) so you can all relax and just enjoy the great views, great company and delicious food. The team at Pure Boats are charming and kind and thoughtful. They are a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. One of the things I love about the route they take you on is that it encompasses all the best bits of the Canal Ring, Amstel and IJ but also takes in less known parts of the city such as the canal behind the ARTIS zoo. That's such a gorgeous peaceful canal. The other advantage of pure boats is that the whole thing is covered in the case that the Amsterdam weather is less than kind. All in all a 5***** experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great way to start our Amsterdam trip. We booked the Lucy boat which was private and super romantic. It is enclosed so you can take the trip even in the winter. Our captain John was a wealth of knowledge on the city.

Our tour guide was humorous and informative. The two hours felt short as we enjoy the drinks and food while looking at the rainy Amsterdam view and listening to local customs, culture and fun facts. Our boat equipped with a washroom, definitely handy for two hours cruise. More than a canal cruise, the time with Pure Boats Amsterdam felt like a cultural exchange. I had much fun listening to other customers exchange stories and our guide’s Amsterdam facts. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Booked the tour with open bar and cheese platter. It was really fun and we had a great time. It is a really good way to see Amsterdam at night in a romantic setting and getting drunk. Definitely recommend. Jasper, our guide, was amazing and ensured we had the best time possible.

Such a wonderful experience! My friends and I took the 4-6pm tour and it couldn't have been better, we also got lucky with the weather and had the chance to enjoy the most beautiful golden hour in the canals. Our guide, Jasper, was super friendly and funny with a lot of interesting information and tips. We were provided with a great variety of drinks and a lovely snacks platter too!

We did a light festival tour 21.1.24 captained by Mischa, thoroughly enjoyed cruising around the light show and enjoyed Mischa storytelling. He was also able to give us some good recommendations that we took up which was useful. Was a freezing night but felt warm on the boat. Would do again - thank you

We went on the Ultimate Amsterdam Light Festival cruise this evening and it was an amazing experience. We learned about the art installations around the canals as well as some interesting city history. Our guide gave excellent recommendations for museums and local flea markets around the area as well. The mulled wine, beer/wine, and cheese/snack selection was delicious and helped warm us up on this chilly January night. This boat tour was very intimate and provided a great atmosphere to experience another side of Amsterdam. I highly recommend Pure Boats Amsterdam for your next trip!

I cannot recommend this place more!!!! We did the 16 person group tour with cheese tasting at night. It was worth every single penny! Easily the most romantic evening I’ve ever had. The cheese was amazing, the captain was very insightful (I think it was Matthew) plus who doesn’t like an open bar with lots of options!! We did another boat tour in Amsterdam and it didn’t even compare, the small company is the way to go. Thank you so much Pure Boats Amsterdam for this wonderful evening.

I had an amazing time during my Pure Boats Cruise. We booked the ultimate boat cruise for the afternoon slot. My Mom and I had an amazing time. Our captain was Hans, he was very charismatic and a good host. We had a great time, met some amazing people and he gave us plenty of great recommendations. I would recommend this cruise to anyone and would definitely go again.

This company has by far the most attractive canal boat we saw all day. A beautifully restored boat with wonderful wood paneling. Very comfortable and allowed for easy 360 viewing (unlike some other company boats that carry many more people). Today was a beautiful sunny day, but if it had been raining we would have been covered. Drinks and a delicious mini apple pie included. Our captain and tour guide was informative, entertaining, and relaxed. We learned some basic architecture facts, all about life on a canal boat and how they came to be, the reason behind open curtains in buildings, and all the crazy things found in the canals. A good time!

Wonderful canal tour. We did the morning tour. The guide was awesome, he told us the regular history stuff, but also some local info and opinions which we loved. We got to go through some narrow canals and under low bridges due to the small size of the boat. I think there were only 15 passengers, so it was a very intimate tour. This tour is more expensive than some, but it is worth it. We were served mimosas and they also had juice, water, and beer. A nice way to see Amsterdam

We had the boat Lucy for the Light Festival tour. It was great to cruise together with Josephine who was our captain. She took well care of us. We had the snacks and open bar as well. Boat is perfectly suitable for 4-6 people. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience with Pure Boats! Booking everything via email/phone with John was great! He had lots of information and helped us find the best options for our cruise. The cruise itself was an amazing experience, the captain shared a lot of wonderful information about the city and tailored the tour to our needs. For instance he drove past the Amsterdam zoo so that my children could see the animals. We enjoyed hearing everything he had to share and really appreciated all the extra thought put into our cruise! We also really enjoyed our breakfast, the food was amazing!

We took a lovely night cruise and couldn't have been happier! Our tour guide was generous with the wine and very charismatic. He made the night truly special. He did a great job breaking the ice between the guests and we were all laughing like old friends by the end of the tour. The boat itself was gorgeous, probably the most luxurious boat that we saw for hire on the canals of Amsterdam.

I couldn’t be happier to have found this little gem in Amsterdam and I can’t imagine travelling the canal any other way. We were looked after by Bert who was just fantastic from start to finish. He was so welcoming, shared wonderful knowledge of the city and made sure we were fed and watered throughout the cruise. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to do a canal cruise, the boat was beautiful, so clean and comfortable and it was the perfect gift for my mum’s birthday. Thank you Bert for making it so special :)

We did a tour hour small group tour on our first day in Amsterdam and LOVED it. Captain Jan was great!!! He was super engaged and fun and knowledgeable! It was a great way to start our trip, learning history and getting a lay of the land. There were about 16 people on the boat, but it still felt intimate enough. Nice snacks and drink options. It was definitely breezy and a little colder than I expected so wear layers! Highly recommend!!!

We did the 2 hour afternoon cruise when in Amsterdam and what a perfect experience! This is a smaller and more intimate beautiful wooden boat that you share with a few other couples. While on board you get a delicious snack tray and all you can drink beer, wine, and bubbly! The guide was super friendly and informative and we shared a ton of laughs while making new friends. Make sure you do this canal tour and not one of the cheaper ones where you're stuffed like sardines in a big boat!

We lucked into a super warm and sunny afternoon for our Pure Boats canal cruise. Beautiful few hours on the canals with Mischa. Great way to explore the city, get a lay of the land via the water, and Mischa's knowledge, peppered with personal anecdotes as both resident and captain, helped us learn more about Amsterdam and its history. Highly recommend.

An amazing experience for the 1 hour boat tour and a free drink each, I brought my parents from the UK to visit Amsterdam and I had the pleasure of booking with pure boats. Great knowledge and greatly explained on our trip around, such friendly guys welcoming us on the tour, the boats are stunning to see and to take your journey on. We will definitely be touring with them again in the future on many occasions

We booked a private 90 minute evening canal cruise for our last night in Amsterdam before returning home and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our boat captain was Martin and he was perfect, he offered us multiple blankets bc it was chilly that evening, got us set up with our drinks and snack plate we ordered and showed us an amazing time. He was funny, Gave us some historical background on the city of Amsterdam and the canals and I’ll never look at the houses the same way again after he pointed out some that were tilting a little bit, which makes sense as they were built on marshland essentially. He was very accommodating and really had a great sense of humor, honestly felt like we’d known him for ages the way we were able to crack jokes and felt immediately comfortable and we had just met. Highly recommend him as your captain if you book a cruise with this company! The 90 minutes flew by, we had a great time, even though it was cold out we were very comfortable with the blankets provided! Would absolutely book with this company again, worth the money for a splurge on a memorable vacation memory to not be crowded in one of the tourist boat cruises and get a smaller more customized experience!

An absolutely gorgeous boat and great tour guide! The boat ride was so relaxing. Excellent drinks and snacks. I booked this tour through AirBnB and it was better than expected. I would highly highly recommend this tour!

The most beautiful boats on the canals of Amsterdam, a real head turner. We took the boat out for a day trip, 7 hours round the canals, rivers and polders, picnic lunch on the side of the river. A truly memorable experience that none of us will ever forget. Beautiful boats, incredible skippers. Would highly recommend Pure Boats to anyone.

We booked a breakfast canal tour. Our goal was an intimate tour, not too commercial and overcrowded. We did get a very nice tour, just two couples on the boat. We had the classic boat the Schollevaar who was a beautifully renovated salon boat from 1912. Maximum attention of our captain Jurjen. He told us a lot about Amsterdam, it's history and how it is formed like we see it nowadays. The breakfast was equipped with croissants, German bread and chocolate rolls. Cheese and Jam. Variety of drinks like freshly squeezed orange juice, Coffee, even Cava was offered. And as much as you can drink of refreshments. The tour was 90+ minutes. Of course the weather took a positive role in this amazing experience. Started cloudy, but during the tour, the sun was coming through, and temperature was fine, with a light breeze. We had a great start of the day in Amsterdam Thanks To the Captain Jurjen and Pure Boats. Our compliments and thanks.

The Apple pie was delicious and drink choices were great. I would definitely choose Pure Boats on a return trip to Amsterdam in the future.

Absolutely incredible! The boat is gorgeous with flowers, comfy seats, shaded canopies & even has a bathroom. Every type of drink you could want and delicious cheeses, crackers, olives etc. The best part is the captain who makes it fun, gives you just enough info & delightfully sang Happy Birthday to my sister in Dutch. The scenery is amazing! Simply the best tour available!

👍 I really enjoyed this boat tour. Went on at 9pm for 90mins and was able to see the sunset which was a bonus. 👍 I suggest to everyone to try a boat tour. You will explore that part of the city wich is not possible to see by foot or by bicycle.
