    Awful place really. My doctor is either away, or she does her best not to send me to the specialist. Basically i pay the health insurance for nothing.

At the moment it is not even possible to make an appointment in August and September due to holidays…. Unfortunately, the practice is no longer what it used to be, a pity to have to leave this practice after 30 years. (Original) Ik ben altijd heel tevreden geweest over de huisartsenpraktijk, maar sinds twee jaar is de kwaliteit drastisch verminderd. Empathie, professionaliteit, dienstverlening en begrip zijn ver te zoeken voor zowel waarnemend huisarts als de doktersassistente. Wanneer je een vraag stelt krijg je geen inhoudelijk antwoord en wordt je belachelijk gemaakt om het stellen van de vraag. Wat mij erg verwondert, gezien in het verleden de artsen zeer empathisch en meedenkend waren. Momenteel is het zelfs niet eens mogelijk om in augustus en september een afspraak te maken vanwege vakantie…. De praktijk is helaas niet meer wat het was, jammer om na 30 jaar deze praktijk te moeten verlaten.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS! Our family has been registered here for roughly 3 years. We have had multiple instances where the doctors refuse to see us as it was not an 'emergency'. On one occasion my pregnant wife was struggling with severe leg pain, after multiple calls and insisting on being seen she was told to, you guessed it, take paracetamol and only come back after 6 week of pain (bearing in mind that the pain was of such a degree that she could not sleep) or if she became paralyzed. On another occasion I burst my eardrum and was told one of the doctors was ill so they would only be seeing emergencies and that the soonest they could see me was a week but I should make an appointment for 6 weeks to see if the ear had healed. Despite 3 phone calls the doctor refused to even speak to me on the phone and the receptionist could not give any further guidance on how to deal with it i.e., did not mention if I could get the ear wet, use earplugs or fly with the broken ear drum. Our prior huisarts was always helpful and available and a very different experience (but he retired). We registered here as it was the only huisarts with availability but that seems to be the case for a reason. Based on my experience I would look elsewhere if at all possible.

    These group of doctors are great. The staff are nice and have always been helpful to me and my kids. I especially feel very fortunate that they take the time to explain why they are taking a certain course re: diagnosis and also research and discuss with their colleagues if there are maybe other possible solutions. Kudos to Dr Van Rooden and all the talented doctors there.

The assistant asked me what I think is wrong with my daughter? The second question was whether I was afraid of what was happening to my daughter? I came to the doctor for help and a diagnosis of my daughter's condition. I received questions from the assistant. ...And no accurate diagnoses. The assistant made diagnoses that did not match the situation. She didn't weigh my daughter and said she was fat. Another diagnosis was also given to my daughter. Without any research. I have not received a referral, not even for a standard blood test for my daughter. The assistant's diagnosis does not coincide with the doctor's diagnosis. There are many inaccuracies and lies in the clinic. My daughter arrived with a painful and swollen foot. First time in October. Now it was the second time in November. It is already more swollen and painful. No treatment was given. I do not recommend this clinic. I was registered there because there were no places nearby.

    It’s a very nice policlinic. Helpful assistants and doctors. I have a very willing to help huisarts. She sent me to specialist several times when I asked for it. Yes, you have to wait sometimes like in lot’s of other places, but in case of emergency you can have appointment very fast. I am registered here for years, though I live a bit far. It’s very difficult to find a good huisarts that’s why I am still here.

    Its impossible to make an appointment, GP is always arguing and most of the time impossible to visit a doctor. they are irresponsible, I'm still waiting doctor's call from clinic since last December. I'm trying to find and register with new GP. It's so hard to find a GP in Amsterdam who takes close your problem close to heat.

    I honestly only had great experiences here with the GPs. Along the years I ve seen 3 different GPs, all very kind, attentive and helpful. I got referals to further investigations and specialists several times, which is sometimes difficult in NL. I ve always felt taken seriously here. Sure, sometimes there s a bit of delay, or it takes over a week before you can book an appointment- therefore not giving the full starts. But I have been recommending this place to colleagues and friends in the area.
