The sushi here is exquisite! I was so excited when I heard about a restaurant that exclusively offers vegan sushi as this concept is difficult to come by. To say I was impressed is an understatement - I will certainly order from here again. There are so many creative options to choose from, you will certainly find something to your taste. I highly recommend trying Vegan Sushi Bar whether you are vegan or not. The food here proves sushi can be cruelty free and just as delicious!

Removing one star for service, it took thm over 30 mins just to bring our drinks and another 25 to bring food. So total of an hour until we food arrived The atmosphere is nice, food is very tasty but very pricy.

My friend and I really enjoyed vegan sushi bar, the food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Our favourites were Flambé Salmon, Shrimpless tempura crunch roll and mighty mushroom. The staff is very nice and also tells you about the ingredients of your sushi and how to eat it. It is also possible to order online. Payment with card only. We will definitely come back here the next time we’re in Amsterdam! Thanks for the lovely experience 🫶

This was honestly the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. My partner is not vegan but he couldn’t taste the difference between the vegan sashimi, shrimp tempura and teriyaki chicken from the real thing! As for me, the cheesy tuna roll was easily my favourite but honestly the entire menu sounds so good I’d love to come back and try more. We came without a reservation and the place was full but the waiter was very kind and did his best to accommodate us, as well as other customers who came in afterwards with the same motive. To that end, the only downside is the restaurant is quite small. The chef is a nice absolute genius and I love an open kitchen because you can see her whipping up beautiful sushi with fresh ingredients. Yes it is expensive but no more so than a similar place in Amsterdam and it is honestly worth every penny!

Very creative vegan sushi which tasted just amazing. It was easy to reserve and the staff was very friendly. The only improvement would be the change of vibe, the music was not fitting to the food, and the place was a bit too bright.

Best sushi I've ever had! This vegan sushi restaurant offers a wide range of options like I'd never seen before: vegan fried shrimp, shiitake mushroom with truffle mayo, spicy mango with coconut and avocado... and even vegan sashimi ("raw salmon"). All combinations were well thought out and flavors had a really nice balance. Bonus point for the delicious purple rice the sushi were made of.

We made a reservation to Vegan Sushi Bar while visiting Amsterdam (highly recommend especially on weekends) and our expectations were exceeded! I am very picky when it comes to vegan sushi (I’m not a big fan of anything that has a lot of seaweed) and I loved trying the two types of rolls we ordered. I especially enjoyed the gyoza and miso soup, plus the matcha lemonade. If you’ve been thinking about dining at Vegan Sushi Bar, here’s your sign!

My favourite place to eat in Amsterdam, the food is the best food I have ever eat and it’s all vegan, I am not vegan but it is the best sushi out there, it’s an hidden gem and would recommend to visit if you are in Amsterdam. The staff are lovely too!!

nearly walked past as theres scaffolding covering the entrance but so glad we found it! we had the crunchy wings (oyster mushrooms) and california rolls, so delicious!! even the non vegan enjoyed! i’d definitely come back again!

We’ve been to many vegan sushi places from Miami to Hawaii but the Vegan Sushi Bar in Amsterdam is what we measure every other vegan sushi place against. They are our Number 1 in the world. Their rolls are the most delicious vegan sushi ever with creative recipes and exceptional flavors, I’d take their rolls over real sushi any day. The fresh wasabi we had never tried before and wow 🤩 Service was amazing and very, very nice. We ran late for our reservation and they called us and said it was no problem, even though we were their last customers that evening. This place is a must-go on our next trip to Amsterdam.

I had a very good sushi with vegan salmon. The salmon doesn't have much taste, but it's still pretty cool and with all the other ingredients it was delicious. I will mention that the service was a bit slow, especially since there were only three people in the restaurant including me, but I guess they had delivered orders as well

Wow! This place does fully vegan sushi but it’s not the usual boring vegetable rolls, they have loads of interesting options including vegan salmon! All prepared fresh in front of you. Very small place but they do takeaway and Deliveroo too. Quite expensive but that’s the same with most places in Amsterdam.

I was blown away by the food and the service. The biggest issue I encountered with vegetarian or vegan food is that taste palette, but that isn't the case here. The sushi was amazing. The choice of sushi rolls was amazing. The service was amazing. Without question, would dine here again.

What a great place! The food was delicious, the people were so nice, and the vibe was great! The side dishes were so tasty, and they kept you wanting more (especially the octopus balls). The sushi itself was so original and yet familiar. The dessert was *insert chef's kiss*. So creative. So great. Loved it.

We're not vegan but the sushi was absolutely amazing! It was one of the best we've had and we have been to a lot of sushi places. We loved the shrimpless tempura crunch and the flambé salmon. The carrot ginger tea was also nice and strong.

We have the best vegan Japanese sushi ,sides and deserts in Amsterdam. Infact the first was a Uber take away and next a dine in experience. The food was fabulous. Very tasty and flavourful. The owners was very courteous and polite making it the best dining experience we have in Amsterdam. Besides they were very accommodative to our dietary allergies to avoid all alliums as informed. It’s really, really, really good. The gyoza was amazing and the sushi rolls we had were all very good. Every piece was a journey on its own. To the omnivores among us: this will completely satisfy your sushi cravings, so just try it out!

It is a comfortable place, with very good service, a complete vegan menu and reasonably priced. Getting there is easy and the neighborhood is worth wondering around while walking over there. The Misho rolls were amazing!

Definitely a place you have to try in Amsterdam. Amazing vegan sushi, you can’t tell it’s not made with fish/meat. Our favorites were the Shrimpsless tempura crunch and the Spicy Mango. Also teapot with black tea mango was delicious and a nice presentation. The staff is very nice, giving recommendation and helping you out with what you need. Loved it🫶🏼

I come here very often, usually picking up sushi from toogoodtogo. The sushi is delicious, there's a lot of variety, staff is cool and friendly.. California fried roll is definitely my favorite! :) Simply said I am very happy that this place exists!

Incredibly tasty vegan sushi. The miso soup and sweet potato tempura we’re great appetizers and the mushroom, shrimp-less tempura and sweet avocado tree rolls were all so delicious, probably the highest quality vegan sushi I’ve ever had.

Very tasty vegan sushi, the best I ever have. Very cozy place, a great calm atmosphere, a quiet neighborhood where you can spend some moments with yourself or with someone else enjoying a real good food.

We ordered through Uber eats. It was on a Sunday and very busy. It took about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was very good though. Very flavorful and some dishes had a nice bite or a nice spicy edge. Everything you order there is vegan (that's what it's called of course). We ordered this time but normally I would go somewhere to eat to write a review. They also have a nice little place where you can eat inside. All in all. food was delicious just took a bit long for the order to arrive.

Food was really good, quite impressed with the sushi. However, the restaurant itself is not well suited for a nice dinner with drinks, I'd say it's better suited for a quick bite.

The food was delicious, the waiter very kind and attentive and the service quite fast. The location is perfect in front of the tram and the decoration is cute.

Amazing sushi with unique flavors. We ordered a few different rolls with a group of 4 and all of them were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone to dine in or pick up!

Tasty vegan sushi and friendly staff!

The place is cute and small. There was only one waiter, ONE chef, and one guy working the phone. The waiter was clearly over worked but was telling everyone false time estimates on the waiting time for food. The place was slammed with online orders. It took over an hour to get our FOUR rolls. The sushi was good but most definitely not worth the wait. The place needs to get at least two more chefs, because she was clearly overwhelmed.

I didn't think vegan sushi could taste so good! I was a bit unsure about going to this place, as I've never been a big fan of fish-based sushi. But this place just shows how amazing vegan sushi can be. We tried 4 or 5 different types, all were delicious. I highly recommend! My non-vegan friends loved it too. And staff was super friendly as well. We didn't need to wait too long for food (it was a Tuesday evening).

4 stars(not 5) only because of the price and the interior, very small, more for a quick bite but it could cost you a lot... Food was delicious, sushi very good quality, tasty, different from usual but it's pretty expensive for the experience overall. No alcohol, why not?

Love the selection of sushi; really enjoyed the 'No chicken teriyaki'. Special shout out for the best sweet potato 'tempura' I've ever had. Also, the service was wonderful ✨ Will definitely go back soon ☺️

We had a nice experience at "Vegan Sushi Bar"! The sushi was the best one I have ever eaten - no joke!! Besides the extremly good sushi it was a little bit cold in the restaurant but that's not their fault it's ours (2 little frost boils). We think everyone should have eaten this sushi once in their life!!
