I just had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! The owner is so lovely! She was singing and dancing behind the counter- what a vibe! Her energy lit up the place, aside from all of the amazing decor. The pizza was delicious too, definitely need to come here a few more times before my trip ends!

One of best Italian pizza restaurants in the town, Mastino is by far among the best vegan restaurants around. The service is great, place is cozy, and it radiates passion and style like an Italian restaurant should! Every place has a story behind it, and Mastino's story has a great touch to it. If you are a vegan, do not skip this place, a must go!

As an Italian and as a chef, I am always very critical of food and especially pizza! Finally a pizzeria where the experience is 100%! The dough is well leavened and light and the toppings are creative, tasty and never boring! The pizza of the month is always a delight! And to top it off, the desserts are exceptional! The place is very welcoming and beautiful, and the staff, Novella first, make you feel at home! Absolutely recommended !! Very good, guys!

Delightful experience. I went for an early dinner and Novella was a very gracious host. We chatted at length and I got to learn about how they source their ingredients. This is extremely high-quality, authentic Italian pizza made by Italians. You should definitely experience this whether you're vegan or not. Best pizza I've had outside of Italy and the best vegan pizza I've had anywhere. Grazie Mastino!!

The concept is fun & the quality of the Pizzas is good. However, I would really recommend you get plates and cutlery for costumers. And possibly keep the place cleaner and more organized; It would look better, as it is already so small… And one comment on the vegan mozzarella, maybe try another brand? It wasn’t the best taste. But Pizza dough and execution is fantastic, and staff is lovely!

Hands down the best vegan pizza I’ve ever tasted. I cannot recommend Mastino enough. The dough is thin yet airy (I even finished my crust) and the tomato sauce is seasoned just right. The cooks use lentil mozzarella, which adds a creamy texture without the somewhat artificial flavor of most vegan cheeses. They offer a rich selection of toppings as well, ranging from grilled veggies and vegan salamis to pesto and cashew cream. There’s something here for everyone.

Definitely the best vegan Pizza I ever had 💜 the owners are so kind and the whole place is very lovely. The homemade lentilcheese tastes just wonderful and feels like eating a cloud. You should also definitely try the Tiramisu - it's like heaven. Don't know what else to say. Would definitely recommend and come back 🍕🥰

No idea what pizza I had. But it had some pink Hummus, maybe beet puree on it. Was delicious and didnt miss cheese at all. Very recommended.

Pretty cool concept , lovely Italian people, and a all vegan! Everything is freshly self made even every kind of cheese. The dough is pretty good as well as the tomato sauce, but I wasn’t a fan of the vegan cheese

We ate in and had a lovely experience. Very cutely decorated inside and has a good atmosphere. The food was lovely, we ate the truffle focaccia too quickly to get a photo but it was gorgeous. And same goes for the 5seasons pizza pictured.

When you enter this place, you immediately feel at home. In the background, there is always Italian happy music playing, and Flora, the owner, is so kind and welcoming. There are many delicious vegan pizza options available at this restaurant.

a petite vegan pizza place - all pizzas are vegan by default but they do keep some mozzarella in-house in case anyone wants it. our foccacia and pizzas were both really tasty and we were really impressed. would definitely visit again.

I LOVE MASTINOS! We came here last November to try the vegan pizza and it was incredible. I had the tutto mushroom both times and my partner has the pepperoni both times aswell. The lady who served us is so wonderful and made us feel welcome. We took away some tiramasu and it was the best dessert I have eaten as a vegan. I came back the next day for more tiramasu of course! Please support this place if you're visiting Amsterdam you won't regret it.

The best pizza I've ever had! Before we got there I was already very excited by reading the different pizza versions. It was actually pretty hard to decide, because they all sounded sooo good. Finally I went with the pizza Alleria. I cannot describe how good this pizza was. The dough, the sauce and a perfect composition of wonderful toppings. Also the staff was so kind and I loved the small italian styled interior. Will come back as soon as possible to taste the other versions 🤤 Thank you!

The best vegan pizza I had and one of the best food experiences we had in Amsterdam. Extremely well done, great texture, and very close to actual cheese since they make their own so they don't taste at all like the store-bought vegan options. The place is very cozy with a great atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming and made everyone feel at home which made us forget about the Netherlands weather. This is a must-go place even if you're not vegan.

I like this pizza, they have good assortment and fast cooking. I also like woman who works there, she is nice and ready to speak with guests. I cannot give 5 stars only because of 3 points: 1. I didn’t like to get hot water for tea in the glass - it’s inconvenient. 2. They don’t accept cash. It’s very sad because many tourists don’t have credit cards, but they want to visit your place. You should give them this opportunity and start to take cash. 3. They use disposable cardboard dishes. What you need to do to make this place better: 1) buy reusable dishes so that people who eat inside can use them. Your visitors will appreciate you more if you take care of the environment and do not use dishes, which, although decomposing, leads to an increase in the consumption of disposable tableware. In times of global warming, it is irresponsible to use disposable tableware. You don't have only take away, because there are tables inside, so there must be reusable dishes. 2) give clients opportunity to pay by cash. There are a lot of tourists who don’t have credit cards but want to visit your place, so you should start to take cash. 3). Buy reusable tea mugs. I believe this nice place can become better!

Best vegan pizza on earth! 😍 The dough is thin and the edge fluffy. The owners are very cute together and they always try to have a good mood and to be funny. Next time I'll be here again.

Very cozy small restaurant with beautiful open kitchen and a shop displaying fun Italian products. Pizza's were amazing, crust so flavourful it could win prizes on it's own. But then the toppings come in and almost steal the show. Well rounded fresh flavours and some of the best vegan cheese I've had on a pizza. Ignore the 5 stars, it should be 10!

If you want vegan pizza - this is your place ! I've had my share of vegan pizzas, always craving for that cheesy (not coconut or sticky oily flavor) and I don't know how they do it, but I was blown away! Honestly the best I ate (Bella ciao)! Keep up the amazing work, can't wait to be back 😍

Mastino is by far the BEST pizza place in Amsterdam! Mastino is perfection from all perspectives, they use only high-end & fresh ingredients and you will feel it from your very first bite, it's your basic Italian food but with a twist, magic and love. you will not find it anywhere in the city. The team is friendly, caring and always serve with a smile and make you feel like you are in their home - Italian gezelligheid! :) The design is inspiring and colorful, the location is perfect (de pijp) and you can also find some unique Italian products to take home with you. Ohhh and the best thing - everything is VEGAN! so you can enjoy all of it without any guilt feeling whatsoever! My fav pizza is tutto mushroom! oh and bella ciao! <3 Highly recommend this place, for both locals and tourists, you will not regret visiting there, the only concern is that you get addicted! :) xoxo

Fantastic vegan pizza and sweets. We just found out about Mastino and we cannot recommend this place enough. We picked up our pizzas and they were really delicious! The staff is also very friendly and welcomed us you with a smile 🙂! We will definitely be back, 10 out of 10!
