Unresponsive and disorganized. No concern for patient care. Spent days trying to get an appointment because of chest pains. Finally got through to a doctor by calling emergency line. He tells me I need to download an app to make an appointment. App doesn't work. Am now changing doctors.

Very poor telephone accessibility. They keep disconnecting you, can't get in touch with the assistant at all. I have never seen such a bad doctor's office. One star is already too much. A general practice without heart and passion for patients!

Absolutely horrible. This has been my GP for over a year and never really felt safe after the visits. But the worst happened today: called for an appointment on the phone number that you see in this google page. They give me an appointment at 16:20. I leave work early to be there on time. I arrive and they don't find me in the list. Apparently they have another location in centraal station. They did put me there without letting me know when I called earlier. I ask them if I can be visited here instead but they claim they are full for the rest of the day. So they suggest me to go to centraal, to what I answer that I will be arriving late to the appointment, but they tell me they'll get in touch with the guys in centraal so that it's not a problem for me. I arrive at centraal at 16:45 and they tell me that I arrived too late and I can't be attended unless they make a new appointment not earlier than 20:00. Absolutely unacceptable. Basically I left work early to cycle around the city for nothing. First thing I do tomorrow is switch to another GP.

Lovely experience..

As a foreign in Netherlands I have been going to this medical center for the last 5 years. I am so happy I found them. The doctors are kind and show true real concern about your issues. Also I feel they are aware that your body, diet and psychology is different from a local Dutch so they treat you accordingly.

Great attention, friendly staff and doctor. A bit delayed but nothing unusual.

Unprofessional

Aweful. Find another medical practice ASAP 1. Hard to be visited by a doctor - hard to believe, but it's simply hard to get an appointment with a doctor. On average I spend 40 minutes before I get disconnected from the call by one of the assistants. (While looking for a replacement medical practice I have called 15 studios, answered after 2 mins ok average). Draining, when you have a sick kid. 2. Unfriendly staff - it is the medical equivalent of a tourist restaurant. They are focused on tourists, they do not care about having a longer commitment with you. When forced to drop by to get an appointment (see point 1), you are treated like you are bothering them. 3. Understaffed - confirmed by the assistants working there. it's more than one year that this problem persist, they are not doing anything to improve the SLA, and the health of his patients are paying for it If you are looking for a new GP, keep looking, don't get lured into choosing them. Keep looking even if all other practises are full and do not accept new patients. You have better chances to find a place if you do not have a GP, rather than switching from one to a new one.

So bad

Cambridge Medical center is probably the best option for most expatriates and tourists in Amsterdam. It has a wide range of various medical specialists that are updated on modern science and treatment. No language issues here. At CM, one is in good hands, and also the staff is helpful and lays the necessary efforts in helping their patients to get proper treatment. It is also within walking distance to most places interesting for tourists in the city center. A good choice.

I was here today (25/8) with a good friend who is a patient of this GP and have been very confused for some time. When I made the appointment for him yesterday, the assistant asked if I wanted to come along. Today we were helped by an unsympathetic lady who did not introduce herself and immediately informed me that the two of us were not supposed to come! She didn't ask anything else. The only thing she had to say was that she wasn't going to prescribe anything (which no one had asked for) and that my confused friend needed exercise in the open air and had to go to bed on time. I have never experienced anything so unsympathetic. We left in bewilderment without greeting her. The word GP is a mockery for this lady. My boyfriend is still very confused, can't work, hasn't slept for weeks, has panic attacks, hears voices and is a danger to himself. Fresh air and early to bed???????
