Mehmet Akif Ersoy Evi Museum is one of the places that must be seen as it has traditional Ankara Houses view inside. Mehmet Akif Ersoy is the writer of Turkish National Anthem. The house represents his life. It is in Hamamönü area and this way it is easy to access. You can take buses or you can take metro (Ankaray) and get off at a close stop. Entrance to the house is free. The house has two floors. You can clearly see kitchen, bedroom and living room.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the composer of the Turkish national anthem, is one of the most prominent poets ever in Turkish history. A vet by profession, his firm islamic faith, love for Holy Prophet Muhammed SAW and total belief in Allah guided his national patriotism and relentless service to the people of Anatolia and beyond. This burning love in him is vividly seen in every rythm and line of his poems. This house in Altındag locality of Ankara, exhibits his way or style of living. His simple life is extraordinarily captivating.
