Definitely the best pub out of all the pubs in Annecy! Great selection of beers, especially the beer cokctails are awesome. Sometimes they play too much Rammstein, but it's fine! The bad thing is that you get kicked out from one part of the bar to another at 2am every day. Closes at almost 3am, but not quite!

A cute little pub that looked like it had a decent menu but we missed it as we arrived at about 4pm! Half the Taps were off too so we couldn't order what we wanted to drink. But the bar was busy and had a nice atmosphere! Tables out by the water also had a nice view over the square!

What a great pub! After walking around Annecy and looking at the menus of various restaurants, we settled for Captain Pub. We were extremely satisfied with the meal as well as the excellent service. I actually thought that the food was much better compared to the meals other “fancier” restaurants had to offer. We had a Cheese burger and Caesar salad, red wine for drinks and an amazingly delicious Chocolate fondant for dessert. The portions were big and of high quality. I would highly recommend them.

At first we wanted to eat here, but like in the most places in Annecy, the kitchen is closed until seven PM. But drinks were good. There's a huge choice of beers and cocktails with beers but prices in general quite expensive. Also there are some tables on the bridge just next to the pub with a great view.

Thank you, we enjoyed your establishment a lot! Pork ribs and tartiflette were delicious, service was quick and pleasant. Nice, friendly multilingual staff, great music, sports on the TV... what else would you possibly want from a good pub.

Had a great time at the Captain ⚓️ Pub Annecy. Had a real good dark session beer 🍺 & awfully good nibbly sausage 😋 meets & salmon. Staff were wonderful.

Be extremely cautious of coming to this place, especially if you are a woman traveling alone. This month I’ve already heard of two personal acquaintances who were roofied while coming here at night. Someone who lives in Annecy also mentioned that it is well known amongst the locals for being a dangerous place for women. While it is very lively and the music is great, if you go, do keep your guard up and don’t accept drinks from anyone and when you buy a drink, make sure it’s bottled.

Very pleasant atmosphere, good music, super cool ambience. Large selection of beers. A nice outdoor terrace with a great view of one of Annecy's many bridges.

(EDITED) It was a nice pub; we liked the location, the background music, and the overall atmosphere of that place. The food and the long drinks were très excellent. There was an issue with the payment provider when I paid by card (resulting in multiple bookings), but the restaurant owners helped to discuss and clarify that issue within 7 days: communication was professional and helpful. 👍 Merci Beaucoup!

Typical tourist food, nothing special. Their Caesar salads are huge. Avoid the BBQ ribs, as you get served 2 chunks of pork with some tiny rib bones. No resemblance to a rack of ribs at all.

Small British/Irish style pub in a great location in the Old Town of Annecy. Gets pretty busy so it's hard to grab an outside table, but there's also a number of seats inside. Staff were great and drinks were what you'd expect for a pub. Worth a visit for sure

Excellent atmosphere music is brilliant, staff speak good English, also made welcomeand you can stand at bar (Yippee). Pub is typical english pub with good atmosphere, if you like people watching this place is virtually in the centre of old town down a small lane but excellent location, Guinness is 10€ but brilliant pint. I didn't eat here so can't say what food was like but overall well deserves 5 stars or more

A great place to have a drink and people watch as they pass over one of the many bridges. The food is excellent and great service especially from Axl. Captain Pub became our go to place on our four night break in Annecy.

Classic pub, great fast service, super food and drinks

Absolutely fantastic meal ! Axel was the waiter who served us, top job! Friendly, helpful, superb tasty fish and chips! Other meals were also really good! Price good. Place situated right in three middle of all the action and great to people watch. Highly recommend this place, our experiences couldn't have been better!

Captain Pub is my temple when it comes to drinking Irish Coffee! Perfectly brewed, traditional, served with a clover on top... "what else?" Clooney would ask. On top of this, if you are on a rush to a family dinner, they will give take-away cups so that you can still enjoy your favourite beverage! Could not recommend this place more.

A quiet pub located right next to one of the many waterways that run through Annecy. Reasonable prices..Tonight we had a spiced Xmas beer and Vin chaud for 11€. Quick service, warm bar, lovely ambiance

Old style pub. A lot of good beers. Accessibility for disabled on wheelchair: one room accessible with 1 little step at the entrance. Other rooms have more steps. No accessible bathroom

Great place with a large number of beers/ales/lagers and amazing food! Staff is also very helpful and polite. I certainly recommend it.

Great Location with a awesome interior. We ordered 4 whiskey sour - they were okay but we expected more. Just a beautiful Ambiente is not enough!

Very nice pub located at a bridge going over one of the many streams in the city. Employees are very friendly and the choices for beverages are huge. Ordered myself a filet steak and was surprised that the cook managed to hit medium rare perfectly. Congrats, that was one of the best I had in years. For sure I'll visit next time I am in Annecy.
