It's the second time I'm eating here and both times I had a wonderful experience. The food is amazing, fresh and full of flavor, everything is made with attention to detail. The desserts are also very good.

Chanced upon this restaurant as we were looking for a lunch place after our visit to Montmarte, and wanted to go to somewhere less crowded for lunch. We noticed it served Japanese food from the name of the restaurant - Tsubame, and were glad because we were very bored of French food after being in France for more than 2 weeks! The owner himself gave us a good introduction of the menu - homecooked bento sets and japanese desserts. We had the porc bento and fish bento, which were both very tasty and not too salty. The portions are European size, alot of food for us small eaters. Owner and staff were very friendly with good service. We felt very welcomed, and decided to go ahead to order dessert (Tapioca Coco with Pineapple and Mango, and a slice of Black Forest Cake) even though we were already so full from the bento sets. The desserts were a good complement to the allongés that we desperately needed from being so sleepy. Sorry we did not leave much tips, although the staff truly deserved them as we did not have much cash left for our last day in Paris. Was a lovely last proper lunch before we left the city to go back to Singapore. Do give this place a try if you happen to be in the area!

Great food we took everything - the fish was my favorite - but overall all was perfect. The service is fast and explanation clear. Can be noisy as it's quite a small place and it's crowded. Reservation recommended.

Actual Japanese food in paris. Quite a find. They even serve shiso with the tuna sashimi. Delicious aubergine, too.

Love love love this place for a good bento for lunch. There’s always a queue but the service is fast. Plenty of veggies choices , 1 fish and 1 meat option each day. Tasty, hearty, simple and authentic.

Tiny, big queue for take away and 10/10 food. Lunch only, under €20 what's not to like?

This place is AMAZING. I got the tempura box. Each box comes with 3 randomized veggies. I got tomatoes, green beans, and ratatouille. In my opinion the ratatouille and the green beans are the two best veggies. It also comes with rice and the fried fish. I recommend mixing the ratatouille with the rice. I also recommend putting a little soy sauce on the fish. The ice cream for dessert is so good.

The owners were very nice! She’s can speak Japanese, English and French that I know of. We ordered 2 bento to go. I asked her to choose our sides and she did not disappoint. I plan on eating a meal everyday here while in Paris for the health, taste and convenience. Thank you for having such natsukashi aji.

Amazing taste and quality! Tapas like dishes, but of top level for a small cozy place.

This is simply the best bento place for lunch in Paris. It is fairly priced for eating in. However, the price for take-out is significantly cheaper. I come there every week!

Authentic japanese, with real japanese cuisine. Tapas style & bento. One of the few restaurants where the japanese owner/chef is in the kitchen. Knowledgeable staff and very reasonable prices. The place is small and cosy and I would recommend booking in advance as it gets crowded.

It is ok but quite inflexible for vegan options. Before they used to proposed something besides edamame. And quite expensive.

Very good food for the price. Menu changes regularly. Wether you have it to go or in the restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!

I've been eating here for years now, both take out and sitting. I've never been disappointed. It's always been good, fresh, variate, and soo tasty! The quality is constantly high. The owners and staffs are very very nice and I always had a great experience at this place. It's my favourite lunch places in the area. And looking at the queue everyday (passing quite fast), I'm not the only one :) Congrats to the whole Tsumbame team and thanks!

Nice homemade bento. Cantine for people who work nearby. Take-out is 3€ less that done-in (with à miso soup)

👍👍 If you are visiting Paris, a cruise ride on the River Seine is not to be missed. We chose Bateaux Parisiens as it was included in the Paris Pass. However, you need to purchase a ticket from the ticket office by showing the Paris Pass before joining the queue to get on to the boat. We got on board th...

😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing. I tried all dishes but I had the pizza, it was lukewarm, chewy and could barely hold together towards the center as it was so moist. I wouldn’t go again but that’s...
