Would not recommend staying here. Staff was friendly but clearly overworked and possibly undertrained. We first off were given room keys that didn't work. We were then given a second set of room keys that also didn't work. Third times the charm...nope! Keys worked the third time but found there is only one bed when we had reserved two beds. We were then given two new keys to a different room on a different floor with one working key and one non functioning key. Once in the room we found a nice, and clean room with the correct number of beds. The A/C worked properly and the beds are comfortable. The sliding window does not lock which is a potential safety hazard. The neighborhood is not very good and there are definitely people living in the hotel long term. The pool is closed and there was zero mention of that when we reserved the room.

If there is a half star rating, I would give them that. A worse stay ever!! Air-conditioning is not working. Shower head in one of the bathroom is not operational. Half of the light fixtures in the room is not working. Most disgusting of all is that there were roaches in the drawers and bathroom. Curtains are ripped. If you're looking for a hot breakfast and good customer service, this is not the place. By the way, the elevator were broken when we were checking in.

What in the meth is going on here? There was broken bottles and garbage flooding the parking lot. Pretty gross and the atmosphere gives off bad vibes. They have security there which is reassuring... but the whole thing is sketch. The hall ways smell terrible the carpet must be old. The building is also old. Lucky though the insides of the rooms are good and not to bad. I was comfortable.

Old building, there was people fighting outside and security was having to make a homeless person vacate the lobby. Overall the staff is nice and itโ€™s not that bad of a stay. The room was large and mostly clean.

Inexpensive (by California standards) no thrills, no frills, 1-2 star hotel. Probably was a nice hotel 20 years ago but has been allowed to deteriorate and in need of an update. This is not your typical Ramada. The pool is probably the best feature of the hotel and I was impressed that an individual did walk the grounds to pickup trash. Finally, if you are choosing this hotel over another because of the advertised free continental breakfast, choose the other hotel.

I feel this hotel is decent but that it really needs to be more modern. Itโ€™s in a bit of a sketchy area. For instance the safety issues with the second level windows are ajar. In my room it felt the windows werenโ€™t closed bc I could hear everything on the street as if I were down there myself. Overall staff are good, kind and friendly; the hotel just needs an upgrade to update to today.

If you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay, this is NOT the place. Biggest issue is, the neighborhood is fishy. We heard loud fights in the middle of the night. Rooms are not clean, carpets are dirty. I canโ€™t agree more with other reviews on Google. If you have kids, or if you are looking for a decent place to stay, look for somewhere else.

This hotel is probably not the best to stay in, the curtain was ripped and there was blood on the bed and the balcony was full of cigarette buds and it did not say that you have to pay a deposit the office Lady was rude then the pool did not look clean then the elevator emergency phone was broken out, the parking lot was scary, in the hotel there was not even a trash can, there was also rips in the comforter, there was no alarm clock and the drawers had crumbs. This is not really the best hotel - have a great day!

The employees at the front desk were very polite. Easy parking lot to navigate. Proximity to key locations. "Business center" almost literally a tiny hole in the wall. But who uses those anyway right? The room... Incredible view of the trailerhood behind the hotel ๐Ÿ† Stains on the curtains. Phone not working. Shower not properly working either. Not to be all negative - the beds were actually clean and comfortable.

I had a very unsatisfactory experience on my 4 day stay: My room was not cleaned on 2nd day. when I complained to front desk, I was told I have to REQUEST housekeeping service! The next day, my room was cleaned, but no new towels left. Only soiled towels were removed. When I checked out, I left a garment bag in my room containing a sport jacket and dress pants. I called and emailed the hotel several times with no response. I was finally told (after a terse phone call) that housekeeping did not find anything. The dirty hotel (a set of dirty, blood-stained towels were left in the hallway for over 24 hours) inadequate housekeeping service and subpar breakfast can somehow be excused. But housekeeping stealing personal property left behind is inexcusable.

Hotel seemed understaffed, front desk staff appeared overwhelmed and overworked. She was able to check us in about 30 minutes before 3 which was great. Room looked okay but I showered with plastic sandals as the tub looked a little rough. When we left for dinner we took a side door that led to an alley next to hotel. There were homeless people and other hotel guest that looked very suspect. After returning to the hotel around 1/2 am, we rushed back to our room a little nervous about the hotel area. We were greeted by two males in the hallway near elevator. They began complimenting my female friends and I and asked to join us in the elevator and in our room. I, for sure thought my friends and I would be trafficked. Went to bed feeling uneasy. When we left at 6am, we again were greeted by another suspicious male walking the hallway downstairs who also complimented us. We rushed out to our car and left. I would not stay here and would not recommend especially for female travelers. I will for sure be doing more research before booking affordable places.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. The staff is rude. The parking lot is dangerous, with derelict vehicles, and two witnessed drug deals. The room was awful, with dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, bugs in the dresser drawers, bodily fluid stains on the drapes, plugs that do not work, torn screen, balcony sliding glass door that barely locks, and so much more. There is a gap (almost two inches) at the bottom of the room door that in the event of a fire has the potential to kill everyone in the building. That Ramada and Wyndham would allow their names to be associated with this property is a huge stain on their corporate reputation. This "hotel" should be closed immediately, and the franchise revoked, and the building torn down and rebuilt from the ground up.

Stay was not good. โ€œPull out bedโ€ was a small cot that wasnโ€™t even the right size. All of the sockets didnโ€™t have covers and were super lose so that was probably a safety issue. Store was cash only no way to use card or charge it to the room. The hallways smelled like smoke and mold at the same time it was gross. The shower head was super low and the handles were wrong (cold water handle was actually the hot water). The carpets in the room were gross it seems like they didnโ€™t clean them and last the area was pretty bad. A lot of homeless and trash everywhere. Also, the phone in the room doesnโ€™t work at all.

No breakfast, which is a major reason we booked here. Ac/heater didnโ€™t work.. room was freezing for my kids they brought down a space heater. Just didnโ€™t feel clean. Smelled like cigarettes/weed.. definitely not a non smoking hotel. Stay somewhere else.

I have been staying at the Ramada Inn located on Auburn Blvd in Sacramento CA and I can't tell you guys enough about how GREAT this hotel is! First they allow early check in! And I don't mean like 2pm, I mean they have let us check in as early as 11am! No hotel ever let's you get an check in as early as that. The hotel is clean and it stays that way. I am constantly seeing the house keepers and maintenance people around this place constantly. They offer some of the best amenities; complementary breakfast, huge clear pool, laundry on site, business center, and a snack shop in the lobby. The rooms are always clean and they also have Balconies!!! Eloisa is so wonderful! All of the staff is great, but Eloisa is on top of things! And she is the nicest front desk person I have meet in a very long time and makes sure that you have everything you need. I will always come back here when I need to ask long as they have the availability.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been at the room was not clean the bathtub was filthy and my feet had turned black from walking on the carpet. The pool had puke in it and it looked like it had not been cleaned for a while,it was also freezing in the pool. There were burn marks in the sheets and it looked like someone had slept in the bed before we came(didn't look like they changed sheets) we also found a rubber with a cracked pipe outside the doors , there was bagels, toast, jelly, cereal and no milk left for breakfast the sliding door does not lock either do not stay here for your safety

This is such a horrible place to stay the people who work here are extremely rude and disrespectful. The rooms are outdated and you can't change the heat or air to what you want. It is overpriced for the service you get. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel that I was paying for. Also it says they serve breakfast but all the serve is basically just bread butter jelly and bagels. I would not recommend staying there

This was a great place to stay! the rooms were very comfortable, very nice. The bed was great, refrigerator, microwave, shower was good, good water pressure. The prices were very practical, the rooms very comfortable, awesome patio! The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was excellant! The location was convenient right by i-80 easy in and out of the parking lot straight to the freeway almost and there was plenty of parking and easily accessible.

One night was more than enough. Relatives went to another hotel but we stayed. Cigarette burns in the blankets. Pot smell was so strong you really COULD get a contact high. We'll never stay here again.

Large hotel in not so good location. Rooms were ok. A lot of homeless around the hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Morning breakfast was minimal.

Place is sketchy and GROSS! Spend double and hit a holiday inn express. Or at least try a different hotel. Itโ€™s not worth the savings on this one. Absolutely no way I would have stayed here with my wife or my 2 yr old. I would rather sleep in the car. In fact if cost is an issue maybe find a Walmart and sleep in the car.

I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I enjoyed my stay. Friendly and helpful staff and plenty of privacy.

I would never stay here again. My first reservation was cancelled due to flight delays. Although they said the amount would be returned to my card. That was over 2 weeks ago. It was supposed to have a shuttle according to the Priceline website but didn't. THAT was the entire reason I picked the hotel. And their breakfast was sad, and got sadder every day.

As a Dimond member I was refused the free upgrade and was told I would have to pay extra. Once I got to the room it is by far the dirtiest room I've stained in this year. Mold in the shower Hair all over floor and tub. Ended up sleeping on top of covers because sheets didn't look clean, Floor was dirty and just an over all nasty room ended up leaving and getting another hotel

Do not stay here this place is horrible and the rooms are never clean and no one wants to take responsibility for how they look. Good luck on getting a discount also they avoid you and lie about getting in contact with you once you send all the pics of how disgusting the rooms and showers are kept up. Do not stay here

Clean, Huge rooms with decent prices. Staff is ๐Ÿ˜Ž and breakfast is a huge perk! Nice place to stay in a kinda-shady area, but definitely recommend! Small Laundrymat inside hotel! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

This hotel is rundown. Needs lots of work. AC in room was barley pushing luckily I was on 4th floor so I took my chances and left the patio sliding door open all night to feel a cool breeze. Also the website on PRICELINE stated they provide shuttle service to and from the airport. They do NOT have a shuttle. Breakfast was a whole lot of bread muffins bagels not really anything special.

Our stay at this hotel has been really bad. DON'T BOOK HERE. We stayed in the executive suite. We thought that was the best choice. This is what we found: - Our rooms had ripped curtains - AC didn't work - Sofa bed had no mattress or bedding - Found live and dead roaches - No step towels and not enough bath towels - Cops out in parking lot - Front desk surrounded by thick glass - Permanent security by the entrance. This seems to be the ghetto part of town. We're not from here so we didn't know. Lesson learned. The receptionist gave us a business card with whom to call. We will try that tomorrow morning before we leave. Doubt it will help.

Just don't. This hotel is dirty, and broken down. In our room, the air conditioner, fan, coffee maker, were all nonfunctional. Hair dryer was non existent. Parking is not secure, extremely limited, and evidently party central for non guests as well. Book elsewhere.

Zero concept of hospitality or customer service at check-in. Zero. Front desk staff member was so rude. Room lacked in cleanliness, maintenance and services; no TV channels, no phone in Room to inquire about TV channels, stained furniture, hair on the walls, tub and ceiling in bathroom, sink wouldn't drain, fan was disgustingly dirty.....was not a good experience at all and does not represent Wyndham very well at all.

I'm a very lenient person when it comes to hotels but this one could use some work. It's definitely ragged looking and what I found weird is there's only a fan in your room. No thermostat, just a fan: high - med - low knob.

This inn should be demolished! It has no heat, to the point where they offer you space heaters that they have on-hand when heaters don't work in the rooms. There is no one on-site to give a refund, you have to email a manger and hope for a reply. The dust level was so high we could not breathe or sleep in the room, and the room was so filthy I did not want to take off my shoes. In order to get any hot water in the shower, oddly enough you had to turn on the hot water in the sink in order to get hot water going in the shower. You could not pay me to stay here, and it boggles my mind that anyone pays Ramada to stay here. The water pipes are in the stairwell and make the whole building a steam bath. The elevator has bolts and washers falling out of the electrical box and is in total disrepair, hence how I know about the water pipes being so hot in the stairwell. The sheets stink of mold and the whole building is pretty much molded over completely. A city inspector needs to shut this place down!!!

  • 4/5 Jerry C. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms are outdated but they are ok to stay in. They only provided one set of towels and no extra toilet paper for a double bed hotel room. What seems to be the heater switch is unmarked and the heater in the room sucks, very loud. Could not keep it on overnight. Some of the staff didn't wear their facemasks also they didn't enforce indoor masking when they should have been. I saw several guests not wear one indoors.
