We stayed there over the weekend and it was a very sad experience. The hotel is very dirty. The carpets in the common areas are really dirty and stained. the elevators were really dirty with trash, stains and black marks. The same situation was in the corners of the dining room by breakfast area and the entrance. The furniture in our room was old and scratched up. The towels in the bathroom were stained and very used/abused. Shower tub walls were also dirty. Bedding needs some serious help also. The hotel needs some deep cleaning and sanitization. it was scary to stay there during Covid times. This was a very shocking Hilton experience being a diamond member.

Let's face it, if you're staying here, it's because of budget concerns. That being said, the rooms are spacious and clean. The bed in the room that I got was stiff and very springy, some might like that but it's not my cup of tea. You will be in a bad neighborhood, but they do have parking lot security that makes their presence known. Walls are not very sound resistant. If you're coming on business or traveling solo, it's an acceptable place to stay. I would not bring family.

Shelley or Sheila, the front desk lady refused Me, my caregiver and my service dog. Because she did not believe she was a service dog. Despite us staying the night there a couple nights ago. George was a wonderful person to deal with the nights we were there. Today we tried to book a room. But Shelley had gave us a hard time about my service dog. I have video of another lady bringing her dog in without a vest and leash on past Shelley and Shelley did not do anything or say anything about it.

The room is clean and a nice size. I stayed here for 6 days and felt like I had enough room to live comfortably. The hotel is next to a extremely noisy freeway but aside from that also has a lot of questionable people loitering in the parking lot. On one occasion, someone was at the continental breakfast making themselves PLATES and then was discovered to not even be a guest there. However, he made his way out with tons of food. On another occasion, there was a questionable man (a different one from the breakfast mishap) loitering in the parking lot which made it uncomfortable for guests to go out to their cars or to take their pets to the potty area. My digital key never worked which was not a huge deal but it seemed the front desk was hesitant to provide a key even with the app issue. I appreciated the 24 hour coffee availability and overall cleanliness of the hotel. It’s currently undergoing renovations but that didn’t affect any part of my stay. There isn’t much to do near by nor would you want to walk outside (in the day or the night). We tracked via car about 5 mins to a mall where we are most of our meals because it felt safer than venturing out into the area near the hotel.

The room needs to be renovated! The front desk staff need retraining. The best thing at this place is the breakfast only. Not worth the stay unless it is a emergency. You have been warned!!

Property is renovating which is great! I stayed in 241 which is away from the road and was quiet from road noise but not other occupants. My neighbor was a loud speaker and had us up at 430 am. Walls are extremely thin. We were in an new room and the room was very clean and had all amenities. USB ports, micro, refrigerator and plenty of lights. The bed/bedding was clean and comfortable. AC unit worked well and was not too loud. Large bathroom with ample lighting and hot water. I hope the property management looks into better insulation due to interrupted sleep

The hotel is going through a much needed remodel. It was very inconvenient as the lobby and all common areas were being remodeled at the same time. This prevented the use of the ice machine and other amenities like laundry room. We specifically booked a room with a tub and the room did not have a tub, I decided to let it go because I wasn’t confident in the front desk after check in wasn’t smooth. Be aware they hide a $10.00 a night parking fee. The area seemed very unsafe as we pulled into the parking lot. Although the room was remodeled and clean we didn’t get what we wanted. I would suggest renovating one floor at a time and not book customers on a floor that is being worked on all night.

This is a nice place to stay when in Sacramento. The rates are moderate and the location is near the fairgrounds, east of downtown. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The water pressure in the shower is decent and the wifi is pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast service was good. All in all, a recommended Hilton property.

This location is about 10 min aways from the state fair. The rooms were very clean and seemed new. The complimentary breakfast was large. There was lots to pick from: waffles, sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereal, bagels, four differ kinds of juices. This is a great place to stay!

Caren Martinez, the Front Desk Manager, went above and beyond to help me and my group for the Aftershock event. She is literally a one woman show. She took the time to listen to our concerns, and quickly figure out a solution and was very accommodating. I would only ever come back to this Hotel because of Caren. Thank you!!!

I use to work at the Hilton Hotel years ago, and it pleases me to see them grow in many different places.

The room is gross. When my son tried to get his ball under the bed he found a moldy bread. The carpet is humid and sticky especially those next to desk chair. The hotel need serious cleaning. I just stay there 2 nights (Apr28-29). Nasty!

Nice hotel that has been renovated. They were still renovating the lobby during my stay. I liked that they cleaned the room every day and the added touches. It sits off the highway but I didn't hear traffic. I end up going out for breakfast everyday because breakfast was not appealing. This could be due to renovations.

Staff were amazing, other than that this place was terrible for the price we paid. Elevator was sketchy and they have a bunch of renovations going on.

Nothing special, nothing terrible. Staff was helpful and friendly and the included breakfast is good. Lobby/lounge area has plenty of seating. As far as Hampton Inns go the rooms felt outdated, with old (and creaky) furniture. Rooms could have been cleaned better, particularly the bathtub. The surrounding area is not nice.

Don't let the name by Hilton decieve you! We used our American Express Hilton Honors to stay at this property. The entry is modern, welcoming and looks nice at first glance, but our room was dark, old, worn out and the furniture is beaten up and the bathroom was disgusting! The sink and shower are caulked unprofessionally, stained and with mold. The wall paper was peeling off the walls and all the exposed edges revealed stains and filth. The floor tile grout was also stained and dirty and baseboard tiles were falling off the wall. The toilet base had caked on dried pee and looked nasty! The King bed had wrong fitting queen sheets on it which pulled up in the night. The pillows were absurdly tiny, hard and the bed was not comforable. When we went to bed at night, a billards hall outside our window was open with people talking. Then at 6 am, we were awakened by a leaf blower cleaning the parking lot and at 8 am the billard's hall people unloading a truck. At 9am, the hotel also began pressure washing the pool deck which they could have waited to do after the 11 am checkout time and before guests arrive by 3 pm. Needless to say, we got poor sleep. The phone did not work to report or call the reception and because of the age and condition of their rooms, I would rate them 1 star and definately NOT a Hilton class hotel. Go to the Holiday Inn Express next door as this Hampton Inn needs to remodel their rooms for the money they charge. It is sad that BIG well known chain hotels run by Corps. are now becoming nothing to write home about.

Price was right. Staff was helpful & friendly. Room was clean. Lobby & public areas are nice. Room Decor is quite outdated. It's ripe for an upgrade.

Room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast spread is one of the best we have ever seen in all the hotels we have stayed in. The price was higher because of the Aftershock festival but was well worth the price. Would definitely stay here if we come back to Sacramento!

I arrived late on Friday night. I encountered some issues with my reservation. I was very impressed with Sheila on how handled the situation and made lemonade out of lemons. The premises were clean and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend this motel.

Raquel and front desk staff were very nice and accommodating as always. The entire staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. That's what makes this Hampton Inn a great place despite being in a less than prime location.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The area is safe and getting to and from the hotel was easy.

Nice central location, just off the highway. Safe parking lot. There's a park about half a mile away, if you have pets with you. AC blows cold. They also have charging stations for electric vehicles. Not a fancy spot, but gets the job done.

It's the little things that you will find at a Hampton Inn that make you feel very welcome. One of which is the fresh baked cookies. I was happy to see that the hotels have started providing cookies again. It's just a feeling of home that I experience while being away on business.

If I could provide this hotel without a Star, I would. In my opinion this is what they deserve based on the terrible level of horrible customer service this sister Hilton property provided. I am am Hilton Hotel Diamond member. I recently booked an overnight room at this property. My question and I called the front desk a total of 4 times to complaint about the noise level from an adjacent room, the cigarette smoke in our room, the smell of marijuana floating in our room, and the loud verbal arguments adjacent rooms were having. We asked to be moved to another room but we were informed the Hotel was full. I called Hilton Honors to file a complaint and to receive sone type of courtesy. This sister property had the audacity to be disingenuous and mention. We never called to denote any complaints. I had to send an email to Hilton Hi it’s showing prof that I called and so on. This sister property if refusing to provide me s refund and make other arrangements to rectify their terrible performance. Please don’t stay at this property as you’ll be disappointed.

Room was just ok...nothing special. The king sized bed in room 107 was like sleeping on a rock slab. Little to no sleep was had. Over priced and under whelming is what I would call this place.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean and fresh. My favorite asset was the bathroom. Incredibly spacious with great lighting my sister really enjoyed that.

This is a budget place. Some Hamptons are fancier and this ain't one. Rooms are clean and well kept, showing some age. Beds are comfortable enough, pillows are basic. If your room faces the freeway, you'll get freeway sounds. Unlike a previous reviewer, I didn’t find the neighborhood "bad", it's a working-class Sacramento hood, but then my tolerance is likely higher than that of most. There is a sizable bank of EV chargers in the parking lot. Some were ICEd out but not to the detriment of the several EV-owning guests. Both of the two chargers I used worked in a straightforward way, price is $0.29/kWh. I don't know what the top charging speed is.

The lobby area was ok but the room that I got was dirty. They don't do a good with cleaning. I had just checked in... It was around 5pm already when one of the cleaning ladies tried to open my door... she must have a master key... it was a good thing that I used the lock-lever on the door to secure the door from the inside. When she couldn't open the door she said something in Spanish and left. The carpet is worn. The elevator is old and shakes.
