For what I paid it surpassed my expectations. Passports are documented to provide evidence of who you are. Then you’re not getting in at anytime unless you prove you’re staying there. Very safe. The staff were helpful. Rooms were basic but it had the most amazing views and sunrises.

MUST BE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP, No idea how this place has good reviews, I have been travelling for a year now and this is the worst hostel I have stayed in to date. Avoid at all costs! The blanket have no covers and no top sheet provided, I can’t even describe the sweaty smell of the blanket without feeling sick. No breakfast and lockers included. I recommend you stay at the Safestay Hostel 2 min walk from this one. Same price but with all the necessary things included.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. My first impression was that I might have made the wrong choice, as the exterior appeared quite old, and the area didn't seem particularly safe. However, my perception changed when I entered the room, which, while small and showing its age, was surprisingly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Most importantly, I felt safe during my stay, even though I was traveling alone. The hotel boasts an amazing rooftop view, and its location is fantastic. What truly sets it apart, though, are the exceptionally nice and helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel for stays of less than a week and would definitely choose to stay there again in the future!

Affordable and great location. Easy to catch the train and get around! Amazing rooftop bar with beautiful view of the Acropolis. Close to many restaurants and shops. A shuttle service to the airport is offered at €15 per person. If you’re sensitive to noise, avoid a room that’s roadside.

Only a couple of minutes walking from Monasteruaki square, which is very convenient to take subway line 1 and 3 to the airport and to Piraeus port. The room is spartan but with the basic to spend the night. Staff is very helpful and they gladly answer any questions you might have. The Acropolis is only 15 minutes away walking. On the downside, the street were it's located is very busy and very noisy (also dirty) so bring your ear plugs.

It’s a great location near Monastiraki metro. We had an apartment with an amazing Acropolis’s view. Liked this place. By the way we were exploring the roof ! It’s incredible! Thanks for hospitality:)

This hostel has amazing views of the Acropolis from the rooftop patio which is open 24/7! The location is great with lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Unfortunately, there were no luggage storage lockers in the room I stayed in, although, I believe they have some in the hallways. The showerhead is also at the same level as the taps, so you must hold it while washing. There was a consistent, huge puddle of water leading from the shower towards my bed. The vent fan was sadly not working, either. The staff are all very friendly and make sure you have all the information you need for your stay. I should add- the internet is terrible, so you may often find yourself relying on data.

Main plus point is it's location. Walking distance to most sightseeing places. Great view of the Acropolis from the roof top bar. 24-hr reception. Wifi was working fine. The hostel could use some renovation. A socket, reading light and small shelf with each bed as well as a locker would be great. Lockers are available but not in the room and in some cases, not on the same floor. Price was good.

Brilliant superior hostel in Monastiraki minutes from tourist sites and the metro and buses to the airport. Rooms to a high standard for a hostel. Marco in reception is fantastic friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

The rooftop alone makes staying here worth it! The views from the Acropolis are incredible, better than any other I've seen, there's a nice bar and it's very easy to socialize and meet new friends up there. The rooms are okay, just like any cheap hostel. Bathroom and shower in each room is nice, but there are no lockers. Located right in the city center, super close to every tourist attraction. Service is good too! Very recommended overall

Great location, just next to the turist- friendlier zones of Athens. Pretty clean and well organized. Women,s room has space for 6 beds and there,s a toilet with shower too inside. Nice rooftop.

First of all, the location of the hotel is so good that it is both in the city and away from the noise and crowd. The hotel is in the Psyri area and this was very important for us because food and entertainment is more affordable and safe here. Hotel staff were very caring and friendly. It was an advantage for us to have room service every day. Also, although we stayed in November, the terrace was open for use. There was a perfect view of both the city and the Acropolis. The room we stayed in was small but adequate for our needs. Having a balcony was great. We never had a problem using hot water and the room was clean.

A budget friendly hostel located in the heart of the city. Pella Inn has welcoming staff that are extremely helpful to travelers. The rooms are a little small but well maintained with a lovely balcony. The view of the Acropolis can't be beat, whether you're seeing it from your balcony or their rooftop bar, its amazing. Highly recommend this hostel for your visit to Athens!

Central location, but a bit loud for light sleepers (due to irrespectful guests). Excellent view from the bedroom window. Lockers are available for your last day in Athens at a price of 2€ (for a storage of up to 1 week!). They fit my suitcase + 1 large backpack.

Excellent area, view was amazing. Budget price with great view. But as a hostel, you need to prepare your own towel if u stay at dorm. Not allow any food or drinks inside room even you got private room. No glass for brush tea. Wifi doesn't work sometimes too No glass for drinking water. No pot to boil a tea. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Depends what do expect. It's ok for me because I am not paying big.

I had a really nice stay. The location, the roof terrace and the staff was amazing. The only thing I can complain about is that the beds and pillows were a bit hard, so it were a few times hard to sleep, but according to everything else, that's totally okey. This is a really great hostel for a good price!

Location, Acropolis View and Price. If you are traveling on a Budget and want to get the first two Keywords, this might be your place to stay while in Athens. Everything is walking distance from the hostel. It’s clean and the Wifi connection is Okaish. By night the street area in front of it doesn’t look super welcoming, but I won’t say it is unsafe. Easy to reach from the Airport via Metro as it is super close to Monasteraki Station.

Athens centre Hotel 🏨 that’s cheap and full of Backpackers. Although they don’t promote a lot of activities, the rooms are ok for the price and there’s a Rooftop with an amazing view to the Acropolis 🏛️

Lovely rooftop view of the area and Acropolis. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned regularly, the shower was hot, plenty of windows for ventilation, and many different rooms, all with aircon.

Before I talk about the general features of the hotel, I would like to tell you about my reservation story. I reserved the room weeks in advance as it was offered as an opportunity in the Booking. Before I checked in, I saw that the same room was sold for 20 Euros cheaper on the same dates in the Booking app. I explained the situation to the hotel and demanded a discount. The hotel official did not accept my request. As a customer, I felt cheated. Do not book this hotel in advance. Wait until the last day because they are lowering the prices. Then you feel cheated. The room given to us smelled heavily of cigarettes. There was a distinct odor of cigarettes even though the property is non-smoking. Our room was definitely not clean. Dust flew through the air, making it difficult to breathe. We had to clean and disinfect the room ourselves. We didn't ask for any room cleaning afterwards either. There is no apparatus in the bathroom to attach the shower head to the wall. You have to take a shower with a shower head in one hand. This shower head is also broken, so it leaks water. The most important thing about the bathroom is that the water suddenly gets very hot during the shower. It gets hot enough to cause minor burns or to fall with your reaction. The air conditioner in the room works as loud as an old bus and does not do its job properly. If you are a light sleeper, it is very difficult to sleep with the air conditioner running. The good things about the hotel are its location and view. If there is any other alternative, I do not recommend this place.

My Athens friend recommended this hotel due to the location and price. We paid for the balcony room. We didn't read the reviews so you can imagine my excitement when I walked onto the balcony and saw the most incredible view of the Acropolis in town. It's even better from the rooftop. Worth every penny. Yes, rooms are small, but they are clean and comfortable and who really cares you'll spend all your time on the balcony (pro-tip, shop next door sells plastic stools for 5euro, I bought one and spent the next 4 days sipping coffee and wine looking at that view sitting down) The location couldn't have been better, make sure to check out the neighborhood behind the hotel too, tons of great streets, shops and restaurants there too. And the service, every single person was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our cat Bob, also liked the balcony and attention he received from the staff. For the price, this is the best deal in Athens if views, location and service are important.

This is a super basic hotel that only offers the bare necessities, but the location and the kindness of the staff can’t be beat! Things to note: there is a communal fridge available on the first floor, unluckily our food was stolen from the fridge, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Air conditioning works great and the rooftop is amazing!! We are coming back to Athens again after our time on the islands and plan to stay here again :)

My first time in Hostel! Great spot right in the Heart of Athens. Clean, safe and friendly staff (they provide wifi, a/c, towels, blankets, lockers). Low prices and Bonus Rooftop with the greatest view in Athens!! Great Stay!

All about location! In the center of Athens with magnificent view of Acropolis from their public roof. The staff is wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge. It was perfect for my trip alone though I could enjoy more with a tiny closet or more drawers.

The room was clean, small and not well maintained. Bath and toilet are actually tiny (our bath door was locked and the cilinder fell apart). But they had very fast hot water, the staff was amazing. They offered us to move to another room. Porch on roof top can use a little more furniture in better condition, but the Acropolis view with a cold beer in your hand is indescribable. Unforgotten, and all other superlative

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The receptionists are very kind, considerate and good people. Especially the girl! This hostel is perfect in relation to price-quality, since the rooms have their own shared bathroom and air conditioning. Also, the bar and the view from the terrace on the fifth floor is the most beautiful thing about this hostel. The view of the sunrises and sunsets, the night with the illuminated acropolis and the view during the day make it epic. Last but not least, the location is perfect as it is in the center and you can walk without taking transportation to all the attractions!

I am writing this today , I’m in the hotel now , I was expecting a great room and lovely service for the amount I paid for a small room and then But I'm surprised now I said it’s ok and I stayed for 3 hours until now the weather is so cold like I’m freezing so I tried to turn on the heater but it’s not working so I went to the reception he told me we can’t do anything so I told him give me another room or find a solution for it he said just easily I can do nothing . Shame !!! Bad hostel my advice really
