Second
time
eating
at
Bouillon
Chartier
-
we
arrived
22
August
to
meet
friends
for
lunch.
We
were
promptly
greeted
by
the
hostess
of
the
restaurant
who
kindly
had
us
seated
in
the
waiting
area
until
our
friends
joined
us
to
complete
our
party
of
six.
Due
to
train
delays
we
waited
for
over
an
hour
for
their
arrival.
The
hostess
in
that
time
was
in
constant
movement
as
she
made
quick
assessments
of
who
could
be
seated,
who
could
be
placed
at
a
share
table,
who
she
needed
to
politely
place
to
one
side
as
they
waited
for
other
people,
she
managed
to
keep
the
line
moving
and
it
seemed
as
the
restaurant
filled
to
maximum
capacity
that
people
were
never
left
to
wait
more
than
5mins.
Her
attentiveness
to
the
queue,
to
ensuring
patrons
were
looked
after,
to
ensuring
nobody
'jumped
the
queue',
was
incredible
to
watch.
She
must
have
seated
around
150
people
in
that
hour
we
waited.
She
also
recognised
our
lengthy
wait
and
offered
to
get
us
a
carafe
of
wine.
When
the
rest
of
our
party
showed
up,
fully
expecting
we
would
need
to
wait
as
the
restaurant
was
full,
the
hostess
managed
to
seat
us
immediately
as
she
had
juggled
tables
and
seating
timings
in
a
way
to
ensure
a
table
for
six
could
be
available.
I
am
incredibly
grateful
for
her
attention.
Once
seated,
orders
were
taken
swiftly
and
food
service
was
fast.
The
menu
consists
of
typical
French
dishes
at
very
reasonable
prices.
Entrée
dishes
are
a
few
euro,
mains
10-16
euros,
cheeses/desserts
for
a
few
euro.
The
food
has
been
consistently
good.
Our
waiter
recommended
a
couple
of
bottles
of
wine
for
the
table
and
then
some
digestives
-
again,
our
second
experience
eating
at
a
Bouillon
Chartier
was
fantastic.
We
also
had
two
young
children
in
the
party
and
the
menu
could
cater
for
their
appetites.
Overall
a
really
enjoyable
experience
and
a
special
thanks
to
the
hostess!
