I was recommended OFF and ON by a friend as she raved about the service she gets at the North Shore salon. Being my first time getting my brows done there i had high expectations. I expected to get measured up to help with evenness of my brows as this was the one thing i wanted. I did not get my measured or brows trimmed, just some waxing and plucking and the treatment felt rushed. I did get henna brows which looked great and lasted for a couple of weeks.

I have a small pigment on my cheek so using google found this as a kiwi local business for my first ever skin/ beauty appointment.I met a consultant in early August and got a quote for 3 laser monthy visits $165. Great. I told the beautician I will book in October which I did by email.Thats when things became problematic. I got an email reply claiming that what I was quoted was an Autumn proceedure ( note autumn is April/May in NZ). Instead I was told that I needed to book derma needling $500-700. At this stage I couldnt determine inconpetence or a cynical upsell - who knows! So I never proceeded with the treatment. Ten days ago I got a survey, probably from 'on and off' marketing dept. I raised all my points above. Guess what- no reply. I guess I wont get one here either! And if you do reply make it genuine! Repost I was called by an apolgetic general manager recently to thoroughly discuss what happened which delighted me I will try their service in a few months. A truely proffesional response passed on to me. Well done and I have updated the rating to reflect this as its well deserved.

Had my first laser treatment with OFF & ON yesterday - I was nervous about the pain, but my technician lizzie had explained everything really well and talked to me throughout the treatment which really helped to distract from the laser. The space felt so comfortable and clean, all in all a great experience and I will be back! Highly recommend OFF for a professional and comfortable laser experience.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving hair removal laser services from Keisha. From the moment I stepped into the office, I was greeted warmly and felt comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the procedure and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The results have been amazing! Sadly, they've become too commercialized. Time to look elsewhere .... why is it SO hard to find a decent eyebrow salon in auckland ????

Lovely therapist but very unhappy with my brows. Even after fixing them all they offered was a credit. At the very least cooks have offered an immediate refund. Im a long standing and loyal customer. One tint to fix the error is not sufficient. I repeated multiple times before my appointment that I am particular about not making them thinner or pointer. And I kept repeating it. Wasn’t happy hot wax was used but not checked that it was on high until after I said it’s too hot. Then told it will take a long time to cool down so have to tweeze. Why was all this extra hair removed? My eyebrows are so uneven as well. I had to ask for something to cool it off. I want this to be remedied and a proper solution offered. I was told I have to now wait for them to grow back and can get a tint. Who is going to do this for me on a weekly basis when it was an. error. What will you do in the mean time?

The ladies there were welcoming and efficient! It was my first time getting my brows done and my brow arist was Rachi (I may have spelt her name wrong). She talked me through the procedure well. She was professional, easy to talk to and she mapped and coloured my eyebrows exactly the way I wanted it! I will definitely come back!

No broken hairs and ingrowns a month later, and every effort is made to tidy up the ones you have with the minimum of pain & skin damage. Best of all - they are all nice people. Real women who have your back on a day when you are down... their random acts of kindness can turn a day around. Never go elsewhere!
