Best happy hour in Auckland! Half price craft beers 4-7pm! Can't go wrong with that. Also show sports, have some board games to play and a quiz on Tuesdays.

Happy hour was great, good pricing and large selection of beers and cider. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would visit again!

Tiki themed cocktail bar with an exceptional view on the second floor. Go inside and upstairs for the balcony! Rum (pirate) dominate drinks but still delicious for the most part. If anything negative to say it would be the drinks were a bit too sweet but a little soda water helped. Service was great and our water glasses were never empty for long. Great for dates!

Food was good. Great selection of drinks and service was great considering how busy everyone was. Downside is the atmosphere was so loud I couldn't talk to the person next to me. But understand it's that time of year for Xmas parties and out of staff control. But was clean and tidy. Overall, really happy

We’ve always come here during happy hour, probably the best deal in cbd to get your hands on a good selection of craft beers. It’s a shame they aren’t open on a Sunday afternoon. We’ve had their food a while back (when they were really advertising their fried chicken) and unfortunately didn’t taste too great. Perhaps things have improved since but we haven’t tried. Happy to just stop by for cheap drinks.

The beer is super cheap, especially during happy hour. But its a shame they only have Emerson's/ Panhead.

Went in before another event nearby for a quick drink. The bar was getting busy but there were plenty of tables and free space. I really wanted to head up to Talulah for a happy hour cocktail and asked The Chamberlain staff if we could stash our pram downstairs out of the way. They told me they wouldn't want to take accountability for it and that the place was about to get super busy (fair enough). She suggested we carry the pram up. What got me though was that the manager said we should go next door to The Brit instead. They didn't even try to make us feel welcome (they could have checked if there was a table up there for us or offered us a menu/ given us the opportunity to have a cocktail downstairs. How do people in wheelchairs get up there?). We sat there for 20mins waiting for our event to start and then just left, with plenty of space and tables still free.

Had beers, the place is ok for a pub. Did not try any food so cannot comment. But has outside seating which was very good. Panhead was on top and hazy alwys works

Not great for GF options. My husband had the Beast Burger and the bun was so oily he couldn't eat it and the patty was dry and chewy (and he's not a fussy eater at all). The fries were tasty (but not GF) and the service was very friendly. Good selection of craft beer.

It was a quiet place downstairs with a few folks having their regular after work drinks in the outdoor seating. But, upstairs was a whole different vibe! The staff was very helpful and friendly, they also helped us get seats and right away amidst a packed weekend and without prior booking. Food and drinks were good as well.

Went upstairs...nice vibe. The cocktails are a bit too similar and quite sweet (around $20-$22 each). But nice island vibes.

Great views from the rooftop, drinks are good and food quality could improve. But overall a good bar experience in central Auckland. It is not cheap, but also not super expensive.

Great bar the Chamberlain, the "happy hours" are as fabulous as the beer! My only gripe or two is the reserved seating, it appears some people who reserve tables don`t bother turning up and you have paying customers stood about steering at empty tables! Friday`s are of course popular and a few more staff members would be a bonus to cater for the hoards at the bar! People take one look at the queue which forms on occasions and head for the rear door. Apart from that its a great place.

So loud in here at night probably because of all of the voices bouncing off the hard walls haha, but friiendly, fun staff and cool underground feeling decor. Reminds of NYC for some reason; like a pub next to an old metro station. Burger was pretty excellent from what I remember. I'll come back at some point.

Food is amazing, drink options more focus on beer and wine, cocktail selection is limited, we order duck legs, big portions but taste bit plaint, the Pork beer is wonderful, one star short is the music, too alliterative, need some pop to bring up the atmosphere.

Great bar/ restaurant for craft beer with nice open Ambiente. The beast burger was amazing ! Absolutely recomend. Salat dressing and the beef sandwich not that much. Id like to go there again just for the beast!

First time here since it was Tyler Street Garage and wow, great stepup. Excellent beer selections with craft beer from the best on tap, food is fabulous and really just what the doctor ordered for this kind of place. Its also big enough to handle a good crowd. Service was on point and we all had a great first experience. We will be back.

Not a bad pub, friendly staff. I can't put my finger on it, but it just lacked a little atmosphere. Lots of people the night we went, no waiting at the bar - good efficient staff.
