Good food good service. But steak meal portion quite small, could've put more fries or salad on. Table top slight sticky.

Great little Irish Pub tucked away down a side alley in Newmarket. It was the perfect stop for a restful lunch and drink after shopping up a storm at the Newmarket mall. Great, friendly service. Meals were fantastic and reasonably priced. We enjoyed steak and the special of the day Beef Thai Salad. Will definitely stop in again!

Great place for a large group of people. Their private room is very spacious not too crowded. Service was great and thanks to the lovely lady who look after us, she’s awesome!

Quiet little bar on Sat night. Nice not having to yell at the bar staff to order your drink

Had a great time before the female bar manager started making snarky comments, told me my friends were outside, and to pretty much get out, Terrible! Will never be back again!

Beautiful old fashioned Irish pub nestled in an alley basically. Even better for a few tables outback with big brollies to get shade, but inside has that rustic pub feel with comfy chairs to seats at the bar. Food was delicious too from clam chowder to meats.

Terrible burgers and fish and chips (oil needed changing) batter was too thick and soggy. Beers was great, however.. It's good to see Kilkenny and Giunese as it should be and taste.

Its hidden, its loud, it's old, the foods typical pub fare. Pizzas are stock brought bases. But there is hidden spaces and comfy nooks. It's the nostalgic pub you goto just for the feel and the people. Well worth a visit.

Great little pub tucked away in Newmarket. Great drinks. Shame they are not allowed a real fire anymore as having an Irish stew and Guiness in front of a warm fire in winter with Celtic music playing is wonderful . Still a wonderful place though with great staff.

Hidden Gem in New Market The staff and food are amazing. Bar manager always makes you feel welcome. I've been there twice for one a sports meets.and the other for a work function. If you want good food and a good atmosphere to have a few cold ones I would highly recommend them 💯 percent oh burgers and curry chicken and fish bites 😋

Great staff looking to help you feel comfortable in the cosy space. Have had a business function and the odd beers on an evening and the team and environment are always great. Definitely recommend going to the Claddagh for any occasion. Appreciate the team that make it so good!

Probably OK for pub snacks, but not the full dining experience lol. Despite website, nothing available for gluten free and only fake chicken nuggets for vegos.

Great spot for drink after work or live music on a Friday! Definitely worth coming in for a couple as it is probably the best spot in newmarket

Only went for a beer, but it was a nice little pub. Hidden away down an alley, Atmosphere is relaxed, great bartender I would definitely be back. Give it a go people, you won't be disappointed.

Great spot. Felt right at home upon finding. Very laid back and a few good laughs. Kitchen has some issues but whatever. Had some animosity with the bar tender so I left.

It was st Patrick's day and place as you can imagine was simply buzzing. There was a live band, just two guys who were dishing out some good music. The fair amount of standing seating and dancing space indoors, there was also quite a large outdoor area as well.

Nice place to have a beer. Pretty old and quaint but relaxed and friendly. Guiness was excellent 👍

Great spot for a cheeky pint and a chill atmosphere. Been popping in here for years and it's never changed, in a good way. Feels like "your local" even though it's in the middle of the city surrounded by fancy shops. If you're lucky the bartender will have his dog there and you will make a 4-legged friend too.

Just your regular run down looking pub, with squeaky wooden chairs, solid wooden well used table that you could dance on... It was great, nothing fancy at all but what an atmosphere and the bartenders had Irish accents. Went with work colleagues for after work drinks. Loud noisy has a pool table and you'd expect an Irish brawl at some stage but just great fun and cold cider or beer. Would go again.. Maybe on St Pats day.

No sorry, offered burgers and chips. Explained they had a new chef but actually that is not my problem. Would try again but only as a last resort

Great service, food didn't take long to cook, didn't come out all at the same time, but was well worth it. Perfectly cooked & delicious. Had pizza, steak & fish.

I have been here with my girl friends a few times now as part of our weekly pub visit and even though there mostly men that come here we always feel really welcome and safe, staff are nice and accommodating, food is decent pub food and beers are always cold and full. Great happy hour and great spot for pool.

Made me the yummiest vegetarian burger. Wonderful service

Tucked away, this pub has a real neighbourhood feel. We had a group gathering in the back room with a couple of pool tables that the regulars happily continued to use despite a booking on the door. And why not? That was fine, although it was a bit tight with pool cues coming out for tricky shots and people having to move out of the way. Happy hour was very welcome.

Spectacular bar to go to with friends. It's my favorite bar in Auckland. The service is excellent; you'll always be greeted with a smile and great kindness. The prices are superb, and you can even play pool for just two dollars. Cris, the bartender, is always ready to assist you and always provides the best service. I've been there several times, and it's always been fantastic. Chef Jeet, on the other hand, is equally kind and possesses outstanding culinary skills. Without a doubt, it's the best bar. 100% recommended

We had a good time however left hungry… we are disappointed with the amount of food you get especially because in the past it was only $50 for bottomless froze AND a foot long pizza per person. This was our first time in Auckland and so we b...
