    The good thing is that this place open 24 hours. Unfortunately, this place is very busy so it'll take awhile to get your order ready. The assembly has improved a lot, though. My previous order was the mozzarella beef burger, and the mozzarella patty was so thin all I can taste was just deep fried crumbs. McCafe staff was friendly, though. My last order was big mac, quarter pounder and a small chips which was good.

    Shocking premises! No tables cleared, bins all overflowing but chips were hot and fresh! Realise could be short staffed and when complained there was no clean table to sit at, she sent out a young lad who asked which table to clear! All needed cleared which was plain to see….eventually, he got stuck in - he needed at least 2-3 rubbish bags just to clear the debris before wiping anything! It WAS busy but cleanliness and tidiness is a priority as far as I’m concerned,

    Extremely busy necessitating constant shout of order numbers from the counter girl Order machine ran out of paper requiring follow up at counter to get order number Food suffered as result of the workload, though was hot. No ketchup or serviettes provided Probably better in quieter periods I suppose Coffee was very poor and weak and super expensive if bought outside of a 'meal'

    This particular McDonald’s store is conveniently located in the heart of Auckland and surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants and bars. You can either order your meals using one of the many electronic ordering screens. If you are paying cash you need to do this at the counter. Once you order, you will be given a numbered ticket, which you then need to wait for until your number is called out with your order. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit on if you want to dine in and the entrance is easily accessible.

    The worst mcDonalds! Toilet closed with label due to vandalism, but at the same time staff using toilet. Tray for food not existing at all.So dirty, so ugly…

    kiosks - don’t work properly, i redeemed an offer and when i clicked to complete order it would always take me back to the full menu to order more. i trued redeeming the offer on another kiosk but it said i had already redeemed the order even though i hadn’t completed the order & paid for it. i ended up just purchasing my meal (b&e combo with a small hot choc + hotcakes and an extra hash on the side) cafe - while my order was made within minutes of me paying, my small hot chocolate seemed to be taking forever. i understood that since it was the morning, it was their busiest & so i waited for my number to be called out. my order no. was in the 150s & by the time the cafe was in the 170s, i went up to the counter & told them i was still waiting on my small hot choc. the guy directed me to the cafe & i once again asked the lady who was making the coffees if she had my order. she didn’t look at me & just replied “i’m making it now”. she then proceeds to call out the order numbers & at this point, i still hadn’t eaten my food as i wanted to begin eating when i had received my small hot choc. i was infuriated and so i decided to begin eating & see if they would end up calling my number. by the time i finished my meal, my small hot choc hadn’t been served & so i missed out on it. i didn’t go up to ask for a refund because it seemed like it’d be a waste of even more time & not worth it. so i vowed that this would be the last time i come here to order maccas. so unprofessional & slow - it’s fast food not slow food !!

    Went here this evening for a quick meal we found the tables were filthy and no sign of a cleaner, so we walked 5min to our hotel with large order (173) cost 62 dollars to find the 6 price nuggets were missing and the chips all 4 of them stone cold and inedible. I tried to call the number on Google maps but it’s disconnected. Properly the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to anywhere in the world - don’t waste you money!

    Close to my office so I come often. But TBH the food could be better. Update: this is 2nd time that they missed my food in the bag. Make sure you check your bag before leaving.

    Large woman in McDonald's uniform has been seated in the customer seating area the last few times I have been there in the morning (sitting in-between 2 tables making them both useless for paying customers). I assume you have an employee break room because she's the only one that I have seen sitting there doing nothing. I walked past a few days ago in the morning and the seating area was blocked off by a big metal scissor gate (despite having customers waiting for food but unable to sit down) and she was still sitting back there doing nothing! 28/07/2022 update. Tried to sit down with my food around 8am to find she is still sitting there taking up customer seats except she is now covering her uniform with a gray hoodie. Terrible.

    It's untidy not clean small flies where the rubbish was bins were over filled and stinky 😩 the cafe area where they do coffee honestly was disgusting it logically was not wiped! My food was not good my daughter found a piece of wrapping paper inside our burger mixed with mayo my milkshake was a strawberry they served me only vanilla ice cream inside with milk that was honestly disappointing!! You pay $4.50 for something and didn't get it so I had to walk back to the front counter and they changed it for a chocolate shake which was ok, my entire meal went to the bin this is so far the worst MacDonalds ever!!! I know they are busy I understand but for a hospitality standard I really do think the council or health and safety board for MacDonalds in New Zealand need to seriously check on this MacDonalds the cleanlinessis is so disgusting and needs more attention!! when it comes to my kids and food we buy outdoors I take this so serious!! It's unsafe to have paper wraps mixed inside burgers that just shows what inside of this MacDonald look like and someone needs to do something about it!! I highly recommend people to start checking orders before walking out especially inside the burgers and milkshakes to see if you get what you pay for!!

    This store needs to get itself together. We order our meals from the self-service kiosk, however, it tells us that there are no soft drinks available so we order an iced latte and a shake instead. When we go to pick up our order we were advised that the iced lattes and shakes weren't available and asked if we wanted a soft drink instead. Huh?! So we accepted that to find the drink was room temperature with no ice. Come on, this isn't a difficult item to make.

    SLOW is one word to describe it SNAIL PACE is the best. 1 person serving orders not in sequence small 1 item order took 15 minutes as it sat on the table waiting for 1 person to find it amongst all the others. Couldn't organise anything properly

    The food was quick and hot. My issue is that the printer didn’t work on the order machine and another machine didn’t even have the eftpos component plugged in. I reported this twice but the staff won’t do anything. It is not busy at all and they can’t be bothered even just turning the failing machines off. Shame on them.

    - 4 self serving machines didn't work when I tried to order my food - I sat down and across from me was a big raggity dirty cloth which i Assume is what staff use to wipe down the tables. It was really off putting seeing it while I was trying to eat. So of course I moved, but still, please put the cleaning equipment away, especially if it's dirty. - food was ok, hash browns fine, although my bagel was stale and not fresh. Was actually hard, borderline crunchy bagel! Not impressed with the quality of the bagel. - orange juice was not chilled, but quite warm. Staff were nice, attentive and quick. It's just a shame little things above aren't fixed.

    I don’t know if it was because it was closing soon, but we took out a large portion of French fries. When we got home, we saw that the portion was only one-third of the portion. The bag was not torn, so it was really less than half the portion. Are you too lazy to fry more fries? Therefore, customers had better pay attention and be sure to check the take-out meals when closing time to avoid losing money.

    This Maccas has no icecream, so if you want a coke float or sundae, you're s..t outta luck! The food was warm, not fresh off the cooker, but it was edible enough. SMILES go a long way too, but there were no staff members wanting to go that far.

    On 12th October at 6:48 pm , the staff was horrible and rude and to top it off, the worker guy in grey, either he was tired or had a attitude, he was the worst. The whole thing started when we went to this britomart station McDonalds to get a soft serve for me and my friend, but the screen order was not printing our receipt so my dad went to the counter and for a few minutes the grey guy ignored my dad and then when he finally listened, he told the other 2 girls to make 2 soft serves but they didn't! We stood there for 10-15 minutes waiting requesting them to prepare our order but they were busy ignoring us, that's when my dad finally asked them again and that's when they started making the soft serve, like how long does it take to pull down a lever and fill a readymade cone? Anywho, the worst service ever, never going there again and don't recommend anyone else going there.

    We had 3 orders numbered, let's say 122,123,124. 123 was called, then 126, 125, then my 124. Then a couple more and after 15 minutes my first one 122 was called. No apologies or reason when I questioned the reason why.

    Shocking Service! It was 1045am I wanted to use my AP Coupon for 2 Hash browns. The offer was only available from 0500-1100am. When I presented the AP Coupon I was rudely told "You can't use that" when I asked "Why not as it was within the time frame for the AP Coupon" I was told " Oh the System is down and not accepting the AP Coupon " When I said " Ok well I should still be able to have 2 Hash browns for $2.50 can you adjust this please " The Staff Member grunted at me and said " Oh what's the Code" I gave my phone to show the Code and hey what do you know The Code from the AP actually worked!!! I also asked for a "Large Flat White with One Sugar" upon getting my receipt I noticed it said "2 Sugars" I went over to the Mc Cafe and told the young lady "It's meant to be One Sugar not Two nor had I asked for Two" with that the Young Lady made my Coffee. It was undrinkable it was bitter and awful tasting,I was not able to drink my Coffee and therefore I had to throw it out. If I had the time I would have gone and asked for my Money Back upon the Coffee as I had to throw it out. Please note I do-not live in Auckland I live in Christchurch I was on Holiday with my Partner, this whole experience has given me a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to McDonald's Britomart. I would not recommend this Store to anyone. The Staff don't care,they don't listen to what you order and do not make you feel at all welcome being a Visitor in Auckland City. Regardless if I live there or not this is shocking. 🤬😡

    This was seriously the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. It wasn’t busy at all but we waited 30 minutes for our food. We ordered two meals with a frozen coke & a vanilla milkshake. When the girl called out our number - she grabbed a bag that had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes (but was never called out so we didn’t know it was our food). She gave us the bag & a frozen raspberry, then walked off. I called her back & explained that I ordered a frozen coke, she said that she knew but the frozen coke wasn’t working. I then asked where the milkshake was - and she said that wasn’t working either. Insane how she just handed us one completely wrong drink & didn’t even acknowledge the other drink order. The fries were sitting in fry baskets above the oil (not even in the fry warmer) & were there before we entered the store. So I asked for fresh fries, she said she’d make us more but then she just walked to the fry section and served us some more old, cold fries. Some of the other staff were filming themselves dancing, making tiktoks instead of working. The restaurant was also extremely dirty. I’m honestly shocked by this experience, I’m not usually one to complain but this was disgusting

    I have to be honest I don't normally call here. However i was passing and peckish. Had the chicken wrap and it was very nice. Tasty and cheap. The place is very clean. The staff were cheerful and helpful. And yes I would call again.

    Same food as any McDonald's. But it is always dirty, tables not wiped, bins over flowing etc. Been a couple of times due to location had only one toilet for ages but now none and a door deadbolted over where they were. Staff are okay. Always very busy and crowded. If you can walk further up queen street and go to the other one it's slightly better condition.

    Excellent location right in the heart of CBD. Afternoons can be very crowded and takes time for delivery. Food is good. Soft cones and chocolate topping ones are very economic. Big Mac here is the best. Toilets are most often locked or occupied.

    The whole point is that the experience is the same no matter where you go, but we all know that's not true. I've had some fantastic food at Maccas, and I've had food I would barely give to my dog. Luckily today was the usual, reliable, middle-of-the-road experience that just did the job.

    First Maccas I ever been to that ever locked down the dining room with my family members still inside while I am waiting on our food order. First Maccas to do that & not explain they were closing the dining room. First Maccas I had to Physically walk outside to the locked door to knock on it to get employees to let my family out of the Maccas. If you gonna close the dining area next time inform them so they can join the one waiting for the order to be completed. It was concerning to have the gate suddenly put up the moment I got up to wait to pick up our Macca order. It was busy and loud enviorment where I could not get a word in to my family on the other side of the gate. Do not do that to people. That is all. Food still good. Communicate please & thank you!!

    The staff here are so friendly - and the service is so fast. I once stood in a queue of forty here, on a busy night, and my combo was somehow delivered to me 14 minutes after I placed my order. The staff all work very hard.

    Lots of the machines not working and won't take card, only one person taking orders with staff standing around on phones. Long wait to get to till to pay and a longer wait to get "fast" food. Food left sitting in bags for 5 minutes while the drinks were made. Then order was wrong when we got the food.. Quite disappointing

    This place makes the BEST iced lattes! Way better then queens street who don't add enough milk & it often tastes burnt. Never had a bad latte from them <3 Only downside is they often run out of Almond milk & the restaurant itself is not fun to stand around in because it's very busy

    Food was cold, Angus hamburger bun was dry and stale, meat paddy was over cooked, dry and tough. and no tomato. Chicken wrap saturated in mayonnaise and the wrap was hard and stale. Chips were cold. Slow with cafe coffee and coffee was hotter than our food. Understaffed and slow service

    One thing is being a busy outlet, which surely is good for business. But, the fact that they have placed the wooden spoons totally uncovered on the front desk means that customers are literally able to touch, spit, spill etc. into those spoons which you if you buy a MacFlurry are putting in your mouth. It’s disgusting and it should be removed immediately. I’m almost certain this cannot be MacDonald’s policy. Moreover, when reaching out for a spoon yesterday it cut my finger to bloods. Staff were completely ignorant to us trying to explain them that this is not acceptable. Step up the hygiene for Pete’s sake.

    Would give lower than 1 star if I could. Ordered a big mac and waited until I got home to eat only to find that there was absolutely no meat in the burger. Essentially I paid $14 for a veggie burger which I didn’t even end up eating.

    After the world cup game we went to grab something to eat. It was closed to eat at the restaurant, so only take away. Somehow our order took more than 30min while there was enough staff and it wasn't that crowded. Food wasn't warm when we got it... I don't expect much from Mc Donalds, but they surprised me...

    Open 24/7 and exceptionally high quality hospitality (5/5 service). They offer a small sized drink (Fluffy McCafé) for $1 so good deal per volume. Fluffy McCafés always taste good (5/5 food). Impeccably clean floor and loud volume jazzy music (5/5 atmosphere/æsthetic). --- Contrasting to McDonald's Queen Street, where a black Indian male is stingy against customers and charge outrageously high price for loo usage.

    Good one to grab a cuppa on the fly in cbd. They could use some background music to create a vibrant atmosphere inside and mostly they close the dining area after a certain time in the evenings so if they let it open until the store is open that would be so great.
