We ate in this house that is considered cultural heritage of the old city after a tour of the old city. Reception with a lemonade ideal for a hot day like the one it was. Abundant food and very pleasant treatment from the owner of the house. Highly recommended

There is a lot to know from the owner Qazi Saad Alim. He is an amazing story teller. Very cordial, humble and knowledgeable. The heritage has a 200 years of history and some rare findings are there. The architectural value is worthy to visit this Qazi Bari Heritage Estate. Qazi Bari Heritage Estate is a rich blend of Old Dhaka History Culture and Heritage. For Old Dhaka History and Culture lovers it’s a spectacular experience to walk through the glorious past of Dhaka. It contains 200 years old Estate house (established in 1820) with its own heritage. It’s ok furniture, architectural design, Andar-mahal, stair cases, vault rooms mesmerise visitors. Moreover the family history, the old Dhaka culture and food take one to the glorious time of ancient Dhaka. The Pre Mughul eta Mosque of the estate takes a long lost tales of the forgotten past. Must visit

Do you have a crave for history? Do you wanna know about you old root? (Yes, even if you are not Bangladeshi) Wanna know about old Dhaka and it's rich past? Well you've come to the right place. One of the old house of the Old Dhaka’s Landlords, which has been standing strong even after all the shocks from past is Qazi Bari. The Turkish Architecture and motifs is certainly going to catch your eyes and will force you to know more about the house. Of course they have renovated it for several times but yet the beautiful is beyond description. I must say, the way Mr Saad has told the rich history, it will make you love the history and enough to increase your thirst for the golden past. Our 5 hours visit here, along with the hospitality and the artifacts were like roaming through the time, yes, we were like travelling the time. These photos will give you a glimpse of what we have witnessed. Visit their Facebook page and make a booking before going there. To have a feast of history, I highly recommend you to check this solo initiative a try. I must warn you, this is a place for classy people only, you gotta have that royal vibe in you. Just kidding, their hospitality will amaze you. Go check for your self. Ticket: (Visit + Royal Lunch) 800 per person. Rating: 9/10

We visited this wonderful heritage house in the center of Old Dhaka, and had an amazing lunch. The owner explained us about the history of the house, which was really interesting! So, head over and check it out as well! A must visit site if you're in Dhaca.
