Stay here for 1 night. The room is good, clean, the AC is working well, no noisy. During breakfast time, around 9am, the restauran was so full and some of the food is out of stock but the staff slowly to replaced the food. Need to be improved in this section. But I really thank to the staff in front office that allowed me to use the gym facilities and the shower room at 2-4 pm on the day that I checked out, so I could spend my time before my flight in the evening for weight lifting.

- exectutive room design is weird - breakfast menu was super monoton. And at 7, all menu was not ready. - service is bad. The waitress were not have initiatives to make good condition for the completeness menu. - in summary, this service from employee is slow response. - in day 3, my room cleaned at 4 p.m.

NEVER COMING BACK. Hotel made a mistake in my billing, and I had to pay EXTRA via PAYPAL to settle the bill two days AFTER I checked out. It took the whole afternoon to arrange payment and fix their mistake in the bill. I am the one going out of my way for this, yet the front desk staff are VERY SLOW in answering calls and messages on Whatsapp. Housekeeping and laundry service are ok but room has small cockroaches. The elevator is also one of the slowest I have ever seen in any hotel. Please improve your service. I will be staying in a different hotel the next time I visit Balikpapan. Edit: I paid extra due to exchange rate and paypal fees because I had to be billed a second time. If I was billed correctly at the hotel, I would not have to pay extra fees on paypal. Wasted a whole day waiting for Hotel staff to send me payment link and had to wait for them to confirm they received my payment. Totally unprofessional and uncourteous.

Strategic location. Thank you for the snack and welcome drink as a compliment on Christmas eve when it takes too long for the room ready. Though it like a mess on breakfast time 🤣 because the hotel was full 🤣

I like this hotel very much. Overlooking the sea, it was great to watch sunrise during breakfast. I was told that all rooms have seaview from their balconies

never think about locating into this hotel, here is the reason : 1. super bad Internet connection. slow and very easy to fail. 2. the bed have very unpleasant smell, it's just like someone sleeping on bed never take shower for half year. 3. no one cares about your complain of Internet. they just asked you to keep trying

Stayed here for the whole week, and the room was nice, clean, and quite spacious. The view was fabulous it faced straight to the sea. It's located next to a mall, so it's easy to get anything I needed. Variety of food choice for breakfast, but, it's just some of the menu were repeated for the whole week, for example, the yellow rice and lontong sayur. Would be nice if they totally have a different set of menu instead of repeating the same menu the next day over and over again.

Didn't mean to end up in Borneo, however, here we land. Swiss hotel to the rescue. The AC was poor, but the breakfast and indoor badminton were for the win. No durian in the elevators, always a bonus.

Dear Swissbelhotel Balikpapan, Booked 10 rooms in this hotel for 11-12 Nov 2023. Check in time is 14.00 but until 17.48 still has 2 outstanding rooms or not ready for my booking. Staff named Reza, front office, say inappropriate statement to his colleague’s “duh, the apps not responding again, anj*ng” in front of my team who’s actually his customer. Idk whats wrong with this hotel, started from long overdue check in with “rooms are not ready” justification to harsh staff. Hopefully the Duty Manager or General Manager are aware with this concerns and give some behavior training to the staffs. Will definitely aint coming back and wouldn’t refer to anyone else. Thanks for the “warming” welcomed.

I stayed in room 1018. Old hotel room with damp and a bit smelly carpet. Broken hair dryer and electric ketle.

First time in Balikpapan and YOU have to go! It’s the city with amazing food. I stay in Swiss Bel Inn Hotel, The service i received was so amazing and i will definitely be back again. They made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience.

Sorry, but there’s something that smells bad in the room. I can't say what kind of smell it was, but it kind of smells like wet socks, especially in your cupboard. Maybe you need an extra cleaning and something that smells good to clear the air in the whole room. Breakfast menu tasted good. Danke well.

It was my 2nd time visit balikpapan and decided to stay at swisbelhotel. Located in bos (balikpapan ocean square) you can park there near the lobby. The lobby quiet spacious, they provide us snack ans welcome drinks. The room is okay but the furniture kinda old and please consider to upgrade your tv too. Love the pool area and swiss cafe, their food was sooo gewd. I might be back again, soon!

24 Jan 2023, stay in floor 12, water heater not working, the water is brown at first, need to flush before use. floor mat in the hallway is looks like not well maintained. feel damp smell in the room. foods and drinks are so-so. The mall is deserted, only 2-3 tenants open.

The room was spacious for 2 beds, but everything was a bit strange-placed (you'll see in the picture). The sofa was super awkward looking, but not a main concern. Everything else is just ok 😃

3 Star for this moment when I spent 3 nights in Balikpapan, November 2023. The fridge is broken also the shower, minum lamp.

No towel in the pool area. During my stay they wanted to have an event so that it disturbed and limited swimming time

Good Old renovated hotel. Good location good ocean view. Cleanliness detail should be improved. Breakfast room and lounge seems old and small. Variation of meal was good.

1. Swissbel Hotel Balikpapan is located strategically in the city center of Balikpapan and close to a shopping center. 2. It has comfortable rooms and magnificent view of sea. 3. There are lots of choices during breakfast and they are tasty. 4. The cleanliness and healthiness are well maintained by the property.

The place is fair, have mall walking distance. Facilities is below expecatation, gym is not clean, no towel, equipments is not in good condition. Water pressure is low. Hopefully can improve gym equipements.

We had a meeting in this hotel, on the 3rd floor. Great meeting room. Generous staffs. Marvellous sea view. Delicious lunch. Just realized it is integrated with department store

I tried use this place, rather other place. Don't be stay basic room. Should be at least junior sweet room get the room.

Not too good hotel, don't be fool by rating 4 stars hotel and their over price room rate. Take long time to check in for room until 1 hours, the room smell weird in the first time, the wifi is slow n often disconnected, some electric equipment doesn't work

I've stay in several swiss belhotel. Must say its quality is lower than others I've tried. The lobby is quite small n hectic. And it only has 2 elevators for L to 8th floor, make us waiting so long since they have large visitor number. It took 15 minutes from lobby to 6th floor. I choose smoking room. The carpet is really need to clean up,even better to replace with new one. So much stain on it, also on the wallpaper. They need to make over the room. And i found a croach in my bedroom! However the bed quality is good enough, the pillows need renewal. Shower room is clean and the amenities is complete. I'm not enthusiastic for the breakfast. I arrived around 8am and got less choice to eat. Almost empty. The tables full with dirty dishes, so i cant find a place to sit. I also use the fitness facility. When a arrived around 7.30am, it's dark and quite smelly. No guy to treat this facility.

The room was very nice, but had long time to checking in & also room service was slow response. The breakfast was great too. The mall next to this hotel did not operated, only Jco was open.
