Disclaimer: Unpopular opinion. At first, I was going to give this hotel a 1-star rating. What? Yes, a one-star rating was my initial intention. Nothing out of the ordinary when you're visiting by car, but when you ride a motorcycle, the parking spot was on 2nd floor, that should not be a problem either, IF the access to the hotel is available for the floor, there used to be one, but now it's locked. Now for the reception, and lobby. OK, nothing strange here too, the check in (and out was smooth), no deposit needed. Time to go the the room. It was dark with all the yellow lights ambiance, but it was done in a wrong way. I don't know how old this hotel, but it seems and feels that it hasn't been maintained properly. The drainage in the bathroom was all wrong, tiles tilted the wrong way, so the water directions was not go straight to the drainage. The bad was not as tidy as it should. The air conditioner was great though. The breakfast was OK, not much of variation, but OK. You can pay with credit card with minimum purchace of 100K rupiab. OK with all the bad thing said, why 4-star? Here is why. Service beats everything. This is personal experience, don't know about the other visitors. As I went back to the room after a morning swim, the room was tidy, all the towel replaced, amenities renewed. This happened when we we going to check out only a few hours later, so it definitely a plus. I know this seems unfair for the other hotel, but, that was unexpected.

Other than location, I would not go back stay at this old poor maintenance hotel's. Bad aisle, dirty carpet, and I found 🪳 🪳 in my room !!! Breakfast selection also not represent 3 star hotel.

Good hotel, old style, breakfast was standard. lobby is large and smell of ciggaretts, kind of bother me. there's also a swimming pool near the lobby. You can ask for free transport to the front office if you wants to go to the airport or to get you to your business place, just tip the driver.

Horrible 0 star hotel. No WiFi. Dirty rooms, towels. Offensive food.

Two because the hotel is very old and food quality is fair. Apart of this is very close to balikpapan center market and mall that you can found many famous brands of fast food.

Nice room to stay.. the breakfast food was ok, but not special.. when I came here, the ceiling near my room was damaged and damp..

Pretty much what you would expect for a motel. Restaurant is decent: nothing special. Swimming pool is fine. Location is great. Nice bathrooms with hot water baths. First floor lounge is smoker friendly. Non smoker rooms smell a bit of smoke. Next door, there's a convenience store and bar ; lots of shopping and food nearby on foot. I felt like it was worth the price. Friendly staff.

Just for a few days transit stay in this hotel is still okay. Das hotel location is still acceptable, just about 5~7 minutes. Anyone is able to walk over to Plaza Balikpapan. There's no so-called 24hrs room service or Chinese restaurant in this hotel. Das Hotel only serves morning breakfast. Don't expect to have a really hot water shower in your room. Und during my 3 days stay in das hotel, both das guests lift are out of order. But it's seems to be out of order already for quite some time, I didn't see any workers repairing it. Only left das staff lift to use.

The room is cozy and quiet. The wifi speed is awful. The airconditioning is fair with a little bit noise. The breakfast menu is quite simple. Main course: Tumis kacang panjang, nasi putih, nasi goreng, opor ayam, bihun goreng, telur bacem, chicken porridge, soto ayam, and omelete booth. Plain bread with toaster, peanut, chocolate and pineapple jam. Unfortunately no slice cheese available. Drinks: coffe, tea (no low calory sugar available), lemon water, and a green juice which i don't know exactly what it is. Dessert: fruit salad and sliced watermelon Pastry: none I don't know exactly how are the standard of 4 star hotel, but some how, the breakfast menu of a no star hotel d'prima is almost the same. D'prima serve pastry and puddings as dessert. Please dont expect too much. There were only 4 staffs handling the restaurant, they have done the best as they could.

Nice hotel, clean enough. Swimming pool, large lobby. Clean room Bathroom also clean. A lot of local food choices near the hotel. Near public transportation, Mini market and also ATM. Near Swalayan and plaza. Farmers and market.

It is not located at the main street (Jl. Sudirman) but about 100 meter from it. Central of Balikpapan. .It is about 150 meters away from Plaza Balikpapan. The escalators dont work, but there is still lift available. The standard room is large, clean including the bathroom but the price is very affordable. Facilities looks are not maintained well and the hallway to the room stuffy and smelly. Looks dirty.

Spacious & clean room, standard bathroom, and really nice location. You can find any kind of restaurants from street vendor to the fancy one. If you look for a mall, there is Balikpapan Plaza that you can reach just by walking (around 100m) . Therelso convenience store nearby and outdoor swimming pool to go to (the water is cold though). The food is so so, but the staff is so friendly and helpful. I was staying there for 3 night on a business trip, and at the 2nd day after work, it cleary shown that my room wasn't cleaned, but when I ask the staff (politely), they come right away and apologize to me and when I confirmed to my colleague at the next room, it didn't happen to him. My last complain of this hotel was just that the mineral water provided is just too tiny.

It is affordable for standard room that is large and clean including bathroom. Safety box, refrigeration, flat tv is available but no hair dryer. It is only about 150 meters from Balikpapan Mall. But hallway is smelly and stuffy. Facilities is also not well maintained. Escalator s are off but there is still lift available.

Location : the best Pool and Gym : great Room : cozy and spacious, water heater is stabil, view is great, air conditioning is a lil bit noisy but if you're too tired you won't be annoyed. Staffs are friendly, especially because i was not satisfied with my room and they upgraded my room with a better same type without any additional charge. I really thankful for this. Breakfast : seriously? This is really out of 4 stars hotel standard.

Very old hotel, you can smell very bad odor and old furniture since in halfway even in your room. You will only get body towel, mat floor, shampoo and conditioner, brush+tooth paste for amenitis, very very standard for 4star hotel. My room very selly and males mereka dizzy. Cable hotel is suck, no HBO only a view sport channel, kids channel and local TV, all channel not even have a clear image. Restaurant ia worst, very very standard menu and not have much choices and also tasteless. I am so disappointed and makes me forgot to take event a single picture. I have to pay 625k for all my complaints above. Very not worthy at all. You can get other hotel with very much better quality with that price. This hotel have a quality far below fave hotel or amaris hotel that only 3star. Don't go to this hotel, you deserve better with that price.
