Variety of Thai street food choices here. Pretty crowded but you can take your time walking the stretch to and fro. There is also a spot to sit down and dine in under the tree.

Nice decent night market where the locals go . Operates Fri till Sun from 5 to 9pm. Good local food, local booths. Just next to the museum. Just not as happening as Hatyai markets.

Very nice weekend night market, located in front the historical great wall in songkhla town The night market separated in 2 portion, at the side near the clock tower it is major on food stall, you can find the very good local food here The other side selling others like phone cover, dress , dolls, shoes etc. It is very good experience to walk around this night market, we enjoy it so much It also easy to get tuk tuk at surrounding the clock tower A must visit if you are on the right time

Authentic Thai experience, cheap street food but with great taste. I regret not spending more that night but I clearly know every single spending was worth it.

Updated in September 2023 The main street will be closed gradually from 4pm onwards and majority of the stalls will be fully setup by 5pm. Loved it as it sells many street food and other wares on another side.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Open on Fridays and Saturdays. Visited again in end-May. Go for the fish maw soup (THB 50) near the clock tower and the coconut ice-cream (THB 20) nearby the fort wall.

Nice weekend market in the historical center of Songkhla. Tucked in between the city wall and the National Museum. The market is devided into three sections: food, performance and artsy stuff and clothes.

Love the night market, various of cheap & tasty local foods available here. There are even small table whereby you can sit on a mat then enjoy your food from the night market. Highly recommended to visit here!

Over 150 stalls and booths. Eatin and take away Thai food of all varieties, curries, noodles, local delicacies, fried, boiled, streamed, non alcoholic drinks, shakes, coconut, fruit stalls, in addition to clothing and accessories, belts, buckles, hand made jewellery, shoes and slippers, there are also entertainers and one stall selling puppies. The market seems well organised and starts at sunset by 10 pm most vendors are packing up. 7 - 9 PM most people go there

Surprisingly this market have a lot of choices on food, clothes and some toys. Mostly locals , not much foreigners and the price list all in Thai. Price is cheap too.

Very popular local weekend market on Friday and Saturday nights. Gets lively from about 6-8pm but stays open until 9/10pm. The part selling food is nearer the clocktower. Not the biggest I've seen, but plenty of stuff and very popular. The rest sells clothes/stuff.

Good place to sample the local food and also experience the local atmosphere. They sell food, clothings, souvenirs etc. Not as big as those night markets u get to see in Bangkok, but good enough to have a feel of the local scene. This night market used to have a stall that sells fried fresh saba fish at a very good price, but that stall is no longer operating, otherwise would have been even better. Anyway give it a try when u are in songkhla, operates only on Friday and Saturday nights

Night market, there's so many choice Thailand street food. If you want to try extreme food, you can find grasshopper, cricket, and caterpillar 😨 if lucky, you can meet the Thai tea (cayen or chakiyaw) traditional. It's so unique. There's also any toys, necklace, bracelet, shoes, note book, etc. But yesterday, i don't find t shirt, bag, or Thailand's keychain.

Songkhla night market is where the locals go. Anyone stopping by Songkhla should definitely make it a priority to drop by here. There are dozens of food stalls selling local delicacies, so hungry foodies will not remain hungry for very long. The avid shopper will not be disappointed with the clothing on sale here. If you're looking for colourful tropical prints, you're at the right place. The prices here are low and not as inflated as the ones at the ASEAN night market in Hat Yai. Definitely a must-visit location.

So fun! It's not the biggest night market, but apparently, they always have performances when they're open. The night I went, I got lucky and got to see student musicians and dancers from nearby Thaksin University who performed traditional music and dances from different regions of Thailand. They may have been students but they were legit and very professional--their costumes and skills were on point. So fun to watch. There was also a fried insect stall; the bugs were surprisingly inoffensive although I wasn't brave enough to try the huge waterbug. I can't say how they compared with other fried insect stands as I haven't been lucky enough to try others yet. There's also a shadow puppet stall and I heard that they do this every week, so you can catch a mini show as well. Lots of food and also a pretty big section of non-edible goods/souvenirs.
