The only good this about this hotel is the view from the lift. It is not a 4 star hotel by ANY means. I stayed at the Negressco Princess which is in the same chain which is a 4 star. This hotel has no iron or kettle. I had had an event to attend and was unable to iron my outfit. I was told o should pay in the morning to use the laundry service! pretty useless as I needed the clothes that evening. The room pictures are very deceptive. The pools are very small with only 4 sun Loungers around each! The gym is TINY and very old ! We came back to see a guest fighting with staff this is when I decided to leave. I am going back to the Arts hotel! AVOID

We came for a three night break with our young family. The hotel was perfect for us, it had a small pool and a bar, perfect for the kids to cool off in the mid day. The rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was good and if you stay for dinner it was excellent. 5 minutes walk to the beach, close to a metro station for easy travelling to the city. The staff were excellent and a special mention to Tupee who was our waitress at the pool bar and she was truly delightful. Highly recommend.

This hotel definitely should not be rated as high as it is. Expensive for the lack of care they have. Pool and pool area was dirty, gym was also not up to standards. One day we did not have room service even though we had our sign and another day we had it done but upon further notice our pillows were stained? Unacceptable. Room service was a 1/5. Overly priced and not good at all. I would say the only thing that was decent was the breakfast. But besides that everything else was lacking. The people there were also not very kind and understanding. I’m upset I paid so much for lower then bare minimum. Spend your money at a different hotel.

I felt like I was in an upgraded project building in the Bronx. The outside structure is nice, however we had a hole in our room wall. Not cool. The staff was very polite and accommodating. If you're spending more time out than in and looking for relatively inexpensive than that's the place to be. Otherwise I recommend a better quality hotel.

A fine hotel in Barcelona. There is a shopping center adjacent to it with many restaurants and shopping stores. The hotel itself is well-maintained with very good rooms that are well maintained. Their. Real fast buffet is diverse and excellent. The surrounding neighborhood is good for walks.

This hotel should not be qualified as a 4 star hotel. I am staying at this hotel at this very moment. The room temperature is at 27 degrees and there is no air conditioning in this room. And in the website of hotel it is clearly advertised as room consists of an air conditioner. It feels like you are inside a boiling room. I informed this to the receptionist multiple times and the lady at reception tends to ignore the all concerns I raised. And we requested to open the window for sometime until some cold air gets inside. And we were informed to stay outside of our room in the middle of night as we have booked a high floor room therefore as per the hotel policy we must stay outside in order to open the windows. So we went out of the hotel around 10pm and returned after 45mins, we were surprised to see that room temperature still at 27 degrees. It seems no one has even opened the windows. And we stayed outside for nothing and feels like we got deceived. The staff is really rude and does not know how to treat to customers nicely. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to ruin your holiday.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly. Very helpful. The hotel has a great location. The rooms are neat and clean. The breakfast is classic. The view from the room where I stayed on the 26th floor is really fantastic. Regardless of the number of rooms, the elevators work great. It's a little crowded at breakfast time. The pools are clean and maintained. Maybe there should be more sunbeds available. The air conditioning works great. The subway, tram, and bus stations are in the immediate vicinity, 5 minutes' walk. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. The shopping center is a few minutes' walk away with a large number of restaurants and fast food. In the future, they should change the interior of the hotel rooms a bit, but that is already a matter of taste. The hotel is highly recommended.

We had a very big room with a view of the sea. The sound isolation is good and the hygiene is impeccable. We also received a nice gift bag with a toothbrush, mini toothpaste, and a comb. The staff is very friendly. Both pools are clean (you get free clean towels, which is a nice touch) and the gym features new and good quality equipment.

Shower you have to put towels down to prevent flooding, partition & toilet screens cracked. Staff unfriendly. Seem homophobic. The cleaners for rooms are friendly tho. Expensive cocktails & food best to venture out to local eateries & bars. Only positive is location I guess & when we checked out! Won't stay in this hotel again!

We stayed for 8 nights. Overall, not worth the amount that was paid per night. In the room, half the electrical outlets didn’t work - we had to change rooms at one point, and had to pay extra for this. No coffee or tea in the room, anything you want you basically have to pay extra. We had to pay extra to take a towel to the beach. The elevator works inconsistently at times having to walk down the stairs from the 20th floor. The pool upstairs is disappointing - not as big as it looks like in the pictures. The gym is barely a gym, hardly any equipment. The one positive is that the front desk staff of the hotel are pretty nice and at least tried to address our concerns. There were 1 or 2 individuals that were extremely rude. The location is also descent because it’s near the subway and near the beach.

We were very happy with our stay here and pleased we chose the Princess. The room was spacious, clean with comfortable beds and included a balcony with views of the ocean and nearby attractions. Guest services staff were helpful, friendly, and generous even offering an early checkin. We would absolutely stay here again and enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at Barcelona Princess Hotel and was disappointed to find that there was no iron in my room. When I called the receptionist to inquire about this, I was told that the hotel does not provide irons and that I would have to pay for laundry services if I wanted my clothes ironed. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Guests should not have to pay extra for basic amenities that are expected to be provided in a hotel room. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you expect to have access to basic amenities.

No private parking , and it’s like a 5 minutes walk to the nearest parking unless you buy a 24 euro per day parking ticket. Otherwise the hotel is in a nice location and is nice. The staff were rude at check out because we were a few minutes late and basically tried to kick us out.

Fantastic location with an amazing view. Barcelona center is easily accessible by metro. The hotel and the room were clean and the daily room service was excellent. The staff was professional and friendly. They do have a free mini bar in the room, containing water and sodas. Although the hotel rooms need some renovations, they are still not terrible. However, the room did not have a kettle, tea, or coffee, and even when we asked for a kettle, room service said it was not possible to get one. Recommended.

Great hotel, good location only 5mins walk to the metro, 10 mins walk to a beach. Slightly out of town, but this gives you peace and quiet at night. We had a large well appointed room, with a great shower. Breakfast had everything you would want. We walked to the center of town along the beach and it took about an hour. I've stayed here before and would again.

Check in experience could be improved by explaining to guests where things are, that the pool is closed etc The rooms are a good size and clean. The sound insulation is not good, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The concerts nearby are loud and you can hear your neighbours. The hotel was under construction when I was there and it didn't feel very welcoming.

This is a very nice hotel. Our bathroom has a VIEW! We also have a balcony we can sit on. There are TWO pools AND an all you can eat buffet breakfast is included. We are walking distance to the beach. There is a large shopping mall just steps away. Easy transportation to trains or taxis in minutes. They are currently renovating parts of the hotel but it does not interfere with our stay. Lovely place to stay.

Only the best reviews about this hotel. Pleasant staff, greeted and saw off with a smile, answered all the questions, solved problems quickly. Very nice hotel, clean, hygienic, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, amazing view from the balcony, interior, atmosphere 100%. I recommend it. Thanks to the entire Princess Hotel team.

Clean but basic business hotel. Rooms are ok but pretty dark. Breakfast is ok. The gym is an absolute joke for anyone looking to do weightlifting - only one machine and just a few super light dumbbells. No ironing board in rooms and they don't even provide any on request.

Fun rooftop swimming. Great breakfast buffet. The room was very nice and great view from our 26th floor sea view room and the elevator of the city. The restaurant was fantastic too. My sea food dish was really wonderful.

Terrible hotel right from the get go. The reception area smelled like a sewerage on check-in. The rooms are old, the wifi and phone did not work. Took several days for them to replace the phone. Service IS atrocious. There is no iron either. The bed is essentially 2 single beds joined to make a king. I'd avoid this hotel at all costs.

I was very disappointed with my room. It was very dirty and had black mold in several places. Air vents were not clean, a/c was not working, safe was not working, there was a very musty smell in closet so didn’t dare keep clothes in there. Walls, baseboards, doorframes and ceiling were all covered in dirt. Windows did not open so fresh air was not a possibility. I’m pretty sure I came home sick because of the mold and air quality in that room. There were some basic things I expect in every hotel. There was no iron and when I inquired with the front desk apparently they don’t allow them and require for you to pay for launder service. Yet the room has a plug labeled for iron and the hotel across the street has irons in the room. There was also no coffee machine. I stayed for 5 nights here. This hotel makes you pay in advance of seeing your room and for the whole stay. Then they will not allow you to get reimbursed or cancel your room for a portion of the stay if you want to move to another hotel. This hotel was fully booked when I stayed so moving rooms was not an option. I was also traveling with some other folks who had a lot of the same things wrong with their rooms so this seems to be their standard. The few things that were nice about the hotel was the breakfast. It was a little pricey for the area but the convenience and variety of options were worth it. The bartenders were friendly, the front door man (or security) was very attentive and the gentleman who takes luggage to the room was friendly, fast and efficient.

Wonderful service, each employee was gracious n professional. Rooms are extremely tired and as such this hotel is NOT a 4 star. As an example, our "deluxe" terrace room was in need of extensive painting and repair of wall corners etc. The lobby as well is very run down, doesn't give you a feel ofca 4 star hotel when entering. 1st stay at a Princess Hotel, may be our last. I'm a diamond member with Hilton, Rooms tend to be always updated. This hotel experience would make us think twice about staying at another Princess Hotel, even though service is excellent. Breakfast is definitely a 9/10.

We were in this hotel at Christmas, it was our third trip here. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but this was not disturbing. Our room was still comfortable and well-equipped, the minibar was replenished daily. A new sauna was built on the 3rd floor and both pools were heated. The breakfast is fantastic, the staff is kind and friendly. After the renovation, the hotel will be even better, and whenever we come to Barcelona, we will only stay here.

We had a sitting area, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Overall, the decor was well used. We also had a small balcony but the view was less than impressive although we could see the sea. The room had a tv and hi-fi system and a small fridge. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. Good cleanliness throughout except the hallway outside the rooms looked like it needed a good vacuuming. Staff seemed helpful and friendly with no complaints there. We found the room price reasonable. The hotel is in a good location and right next to the metro and tram.

We had an okay stay for 3 nights. The room was good size, the bathroom was good size, overall was clean and neat. The inclusion of outdoor patio was pleasant. We were a bit surprised and displeased at the lack of inclusion of an iron for clothes, and a kettle (nor any instant tea/coffee, complementary water bottle and small snacks) which we thought was standard for 4* hotels. The hairdryer was usable. The room was also more dimly lit than what we expected and would be comfortable with. Our stay we booked did not include meals so we cannot comment on food and restaurant service. They had 2 swimming pools which were fairly small and shallow, one at 0.85m and one at 1.25m, clean dry towels provided extra at the pools. The location was close to the beach (10' walk) and a local L4 station (4' walk) which runs fairly frequent.

The hotel is just amazing for its’ price. The view on the top in pool as well as in the rooms is just unbelievable. Breakfast is good as well. Rooms are ok, just maybe small refreshment would be good. My stay was just so cool

The hotel is overall amazing! The room views are totally breathtaking and the room is very spacious. There is room service everyday which can't be taken for granted nowadays after covid. They offer breakfast in room for a price and you can check in early. I am completely satisfied with my experience here! Edit: one more thing I forgot to mention is that they provide you with a mobile that you can use to make calls inside Spain and Google maps completely for free!

Good location and everything was great. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The variety of breakfast provided was excellent. Would like to thank the reception staff especially Marcel, Maria and Olga for their help and assistance during our stay. The swimming pool is small however, plenty of nice beaches around. Definitely will stay again in the hotel whenever we get back to Barcelona.

We spent 5 days in this wonderful hotel. Extremely friendly staff, especially Roc who did an early check in on the first day and put us in a room on the 25th floor overlooking Barcelona! For the cleanliness of the hotel and the room 5* all credit to the housekeeping team! (Ritual cosmetics are used in the rooms) In the room you will find an Android phone that you can use completely free of charge when touring the city, with the Internet and recommendations on what to visit On the 3rd and 23rd floor there is an open swimming pool with hot water, a real treat in January. Very close to the hotel there is a metro and taxi station. (Shopping mall also) Recommendation certainly. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Hotel with a very nice location, but disappointing.. Check-in: reception didn't know when we could enter the room Room: broken glass at the bathroom, not comfortable bed, very old design Pool: at the 3rd floor was cold Breakfast: excellent View: from the hotel was beautiful Pool at the rooftop: nice, but too small Staff: polite

Stayed here for our mini honeymoon which was brilliant but the hotel itself lacked basic things such as a kettle in the room and no conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel). The hotel was very clean but lots of bits seem run down and the 2 pools are a lot smaller than they look in the photos! Transport links to the centre of Barcelona are brilliant with tram, bus and metro line on the door step and the Bleu Bar across the road sells lovely cocktails! Breakfast was really tasty at the hotel but cold which took away a bit of the enjoyment! As a base this hotel is great but if you are looking to spend a fair bit of time in the hotel I wouldn’t recommend it for that! Staff were really friendly and helpful and the luggage room for checking out day is really handy if you’ve got a late flight! Overall I would stay again but I wouldn’t expect a 4 star stay!

the hotel was good , we had 2 negatives 1 being no tea /coffee making facilitys in the room , and no usb to charge our phones. the bed was to hard for me but ok for the other half. very expensive hotel bar so go out and about .clean rooms , warm pool, good breakfast [ bit expensive ] staff friendly .shopping mall next door loads to eat and shopping.

Incredible Hotel in Barcelona. The View from our room couldn‘t be better, the breakfast was also really good with fresh fruits and lots of things to choose from. The service was really nice and would help immediately if there was any problem. I would recommend this Hotel for sure!

It was Okay at best really. The hotels room is clean and spacious and the food from the breakfast buffet was good if you got there early otherwise it's cold. I would recommend you bring your own travel iron as they charge you for any ironing in the hotel, which I found outrageous. They also don't have tea or coffee in your room for a morning pick up. Its pretty local with a taxi journey to anything but there are probably better hotels in the location. On the whole I wouldn't stay here again.

Our first stop of our honeymoon was Barcelona Hotel Princess and it was amazing! The room is very unique and had great views. What we enjoyed the most was the bar service and the people. Thank you to all of the bar staff especially Cristian! He made us several cocktails of his own recipe that we believe should be on the menu. My favorite was the one we decided would be called "Princess Jazmin", which consisted of coffee and lime. Everyone was wonderful and we would definitely recommend Hotel Princess.

Wow - wonderful hotel, comfortable beds, incredible views and very convenient to the concert venue (which is why we chose this hotel). Easy to get to other locations - walk, taxi, metro all possible. Both pools were amazing. Cafe at one of the 3rd floor pool had great Hamburg!!!Loved laying in bed and watching the night skyline!!!

  • 4/5 Meysam N. 1 year ago on Google
I didn't like how one of the reception staff were cold and impatient. Except that everything was good. The location is not the best if you want to see the Barcelona attractions but anyway it is easy to get anywhere from here so not a big problem. The rooftop pool is small but heated and there is towels available for use which is convenient specially in colder seasons.

This is a great hotel to stay near the convention centre. The bathroom and rooms are too small for 2 people to stay. Check before you go! Otherwise the accessibility to metro station, tram station and mall is great. Location is very near to the beach which makes it even better.

  • 4/5 Sebastian W. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a nice hotel to stay with one of the highest pools in Barcelona. It is a true experience to use the elevators with windows until level 23. service is usually good and so is the staff. Food at the fool is really nice. Rooms are okay. The location of the hotel is not really close to the Center but if you combine it with a nice walk you enjoy this walk by the sea.

  • 3/5 M 1 year ago on Google
Its an ok hotel definitely should not be rated four stars. We stayed at another hotel this vacation that was also rated four stars and the difference in quality is a lot. Rooms do not have a window which opens which gives the rooms a musty smell. Its close to the beach but relatively far away from other things

  • 4/5 Stelios N. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location, opposite to the congress center and very close to the beach. Barcelona center is easily accessible by metro. It is about time to renovate the hotel rooms, but they are still not bad. The quality of breakfast is very good, but I would like to have some more selections, like fried eggs (not only scrambled and hard-boiled). Nice pool and bars. The personnel is very polite and helpful and the service is very good.

  • 4/5 anisha h. 1 year ago on Google
Service was good and the hotel was clean and beautiful. However, there is no kettle nor any tea or coffee in the room. They do have a free mini bar in the room but kettle would be a better idea. Views are spectacular. Vegetarian options are limited in the breakfast buffet- can be better.

  • 5/5 Mike M. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Great location for the CCIB conference Center which if just over the road. Rooms are very nice with a great view of the sea. The gym is a bit sparse with only one of everything. The breakfast is buffet style with cereal, cold meats, hot stuff too as well as breads and pastries. In all a very nice stay for a few days. Warning…. If you don’t like walking over glass walkways don’t get rooms 14-19 on any floor. My walkway was cracked in places and was known as the ”walk of death”, thankfully I survived.

I recently stayed at this Hotel and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location, close to many restaurants and attractions. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, with a wide variety of options. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in the area.

Clean rooms with an awesome view. 3 person rooms are basically same as 2 person rooms with an extra bed added. The rooms don't have to much free space to move in and windows on higher floors are locked so you'll depend on AC. There is a see-through window between beds and toilet but it has a curtain. Door between bed and toilet cannot be closed so better be comfortable hearing everything both ways.

Very good hotel with nice restaurant excellent breakfast, lovable spa area with outdoor pool and little gym. Everybody very nice and helpful a little bit far from city center but the metro station is close and some rooms have a wonderful ocean view. Definitely suggested
