A fantastic Space-Themed hotel. R2D2 guarding the lift shafts, lift doors that look like airlocks, viewing portals, a giant table to plan your 'Dr.Evil style takeover of the world.' Very very original, fun, spacious hotel. Great, modern rooms with window blind operation from your bed. Directly on top of loads of shops, which are themselves on top of a rail hub. Taxi rank directly outside and the Hop-on-Hop-off his across the road. Also plenty of food options both inside & outside the hotel. Very friendly, helpful, polite staff always happy to help! Really enjoyed our stay!!

The hotel has a unique theme and a different atmosphere. Located on top of a train station and next to the taxis station. Far from the center, so you need at least 15 to 20 minutes by taxi to reach any of the main areas and attractions in Barcelona. Yet the rooms are relatively spacious. Fully equipped. Clean and comfy. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Several coffee places are located in the same building along with various shops at the train station.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is the best in the city. It’s located right on top of a train/metro hub which allows you to get anywhere in the city pretty quickly. I happened to be there on my birthday and the hotel staff surprised me with a birthday cake and candle which I really didn’t expect. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Barcelona.

The location of the hotel seems really good but it's not as accesible as it looks. Just the way it can be accessed, you have to take the elevators, which is tucked and could be marked better, or you can take the stairs which are off the side of the whole building. So just to take the metro, it can take you 10 mins from your hotel room. But It is in front of taxi station and close to a major fast food. Loved the space theme of this hotel. Even their elevators looked cool. They even have free arcade in the lobby, perfect for people who played classics like metal slug, street fighter, etc. The layout of the room is good, multiple outlets available, light switch at the bedside, very well thought out. Perfect stay if you are arriving/ leaving Barcelona via train.

It’s a hotel designed for business purposes. The space theme is boring and doesn’t suit. There is no privacy if you’re travelling as a family. The shower and toilet is separated. There is no water in the toilet if you would like to wash your hands. You will need to step out of the toilet. There is no place to hang your clothes in the shower. It’s trying to be eco friendly but highly inconvenient. The hotel is located next to the train station which is convenient for a short stay.

Super cool property, the highlight has got to be the space decor right out of a science fiction movie. Modern rooms, superb staff, great location above a train and metro station. Overall a very good stay!

Service was miserable and I was charged an additional fee of 15E for arriving early.I had been on an all night flight, was wiped - and arrived at noon.Explained my situation - to no avail.Grand hotel suddenly looked mighty small and pretty petty.I travel the world - will NEVER stay there again.Stay away. Upon receiving your response ( from the hotel ) - Exactly how will my stay be improved ? The very practical response were to refund/credit me the 15 euros charged.Certainly there must be someone smart enough at your Grand palace to understand this.And BTW - the space motifs are old and the only thing I can see that is out of this world - is your customer service.

Cool, futuristic designed hotel next to the train station. The room is spotless and spacious. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the room has all you need for a comfortable stay. Even next to the train station, the place is very quiet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The entire hotel is designed like you are in the space. Love it :)

I booked Barceló Sants last minute as I had to cancel my reservation at the Marriott due to an unpleasant experience. I’m so glad I got to stay at this hotel as it was perfect for settling in after a late evening train ride from Madrid to Barcelona. Everything from the service to hygiene was impeccable and the staff here is kind, efficient, and helpful. I would stay here again if I am in the area. I also want to add that they have a real desk big enough to work, if needed. It’s really the perfect hotel for a business traveler.

This hotel is pure premium. Sorry for my previous version of this review, it was for an other hotel. Apologies. New review: easy access from train station, nice breakfast (need more coffee machines, tho), 2001-theme is fun.
