Very cool trendy hotel with 360 views you have to check out at night. Very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms had some peek-a-boo windows/glass in some rooms, fine for couples but maybe not for families. Overall great stay and looking forward to coming back.

I booked a stay from Thursday to Sunday. No more than 30 minutes later, I realized that I made a mistake and should have booked from Wednesday to Saturday. The hotel declined to allow me to switch the dates, but that I could “add another night on Wednesday.” I understand not being able to refund, but mere minutes after booking the reservation… and a month in advance? Pretty ice cold in my opinion, and of course I’m not going to give them more of my money by booking another night.

The hotel is very beautiful, the living room is beautifully decorated. The terrace has a bar for drinks with a 360º view, which claims to be open to the public, but the service is deplorable, don't expect it to be well received, I was served by a bartender with an Argentine accent, who spoke extremely rudely with a tone of aggressive voice, which is only there to serve guests, so if you are not staying, this is not the best place to have a drink, as the service makes it clear that you are not welcome. I do not recommend and would not go back. Barcelona is an amazing city, it has many establishments that treat tourists with more respect.

Second time I have stayed here and although I was only stopping by Barcelona for 1 night, it was once again a flawless experience. An incredible hotel with an amazing rooftop view and bar. The small spa pool on the roof is wonderfully refreshing. At check in I had the warmest of greetings from such friendly staff and a welcoming glass of cava on arrival. My room was superb, really bright with ceiling to floor windows showing a great view of the city, very comfortable bed and lovely shower. The buffet breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve had and beats a few 5* hotels I’ve been in before. It had a great selection, freshness and quality of food. The hotel also has a gym and spa which are really nice additions. The reception staff are really helpful and knowledgeable for any questions or requests you have and it’s always lovely to have a 24 hour concierge. With its central location and great features it’s definitely worth a visit and every penny. I hope to be back again soon!

The actual area itself was perfectly safe, me and my boyfriend were outside the hotel at even 2am to smoke and felt safe. I believe the negative reviews were from lack of common sense. I don’t believe the area is dangerous whatsoever . The bar was gorgeous, not cheap drinks but worth it for the view. You get to see the entire city and it also has binoculars to look around. I would 100% recommend this hotel, and would not stay anywhere else if we go back.

This rooftop bar has a 360 degree view of Barcelona that is second to none! As our friend was staying at the hotel we decided to all meet upstairs at the bar and it was without a doubt spectacular!! With a great cocktail menu (albeit on the expensive side) and the added bonus that you didn’t need to be a guest to visit - what’s not to love! We visited during the evening so unsure what it would be like during the day but something tells me it would have been even better. Would definitely visit if only for the view but recommend stopping by to relax and take it all in!

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. Check in was easy. Luggage is able to be left before and after checkout!!! There was a fridge in the room. Air conditioner blew cold. Shower was large and didn’t leak much. Ice was available at the front desk. Only con is that hotel is in a questionably safe area so just be safe when walking around at night. Also loved the rooftop bar/terrace. Free telescopes to use that give even better views of the city!

Great location to take advantage of all the city has to offer; within walking distance of almost everything. Glass of cava comes with the easy check-in. Very clean. Premium rooms are great for couples. Breakfast was good quality and fair price. Views from the roof are fantastic, making it reasonable to pay a premium for drinks up there. The small pool directly in front of the rooftop bar is probably not something most people will feel comfortable using. Overall, a great hotel experience.

Unsafe Neighbourhood The hotel interior closely resembles the design of W hotels, and it's undeniably a very clean establishment. Nevertheless, for solo female travelers or those of Irish or Jewish descent, I have reservations about the safety of the neighborhood. Throughout the night, there are persistent disturbances from noisy children in the nearby area, and in the early morning hours, we've heard gunshots. Additionally, there is a notable presence of assertive male shopkeepers in the vicinity, which might be disconcerting for our more self-aware solo tourists. I provide this review to ensure you are informed that safety concerns may arise outside the hotel premises after 7 pm, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing safety.

There is no sound proofing in this hotel. You can hear everything happening inside and outside. Not ideal if you are needing to sleep off some jet lag.

We visited the panoramic rooftop with friends at dusk and it was a wonderful experience. The views of Barcelona are breathtaking. This hotel is right next to the (relocated) Cat of Botero. Although we walked there and back, we felt uneasy doing so because the streets are not too well lit and it's a bit far from La Rambla.

Great hotel and lovely staff and rooms. The beds are so comfy and massive! Loved staying here! The only thing that let this hotel down was the area it's in. It doesn't feel very nice and at night time there were a lot of homeless people nearby! However, that being said, it's very close to the centre of the city! We would stay here again!

Room was very clean! Wish the AC blew out further but it was still good. Great gym. Good location; easy to walk to other areas. Great rooftop view! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before going on a cruise. The staff were very welcoming, the hotel itself was beautiful inside, very quirky. The rooftop bar had stunning views (we had 2 vodkas and cost €36). The rooms were lovely, but just to make you aware, if you are sharing a room with a friend rather than a loved one, there is no privacy in the bathroom as quite open. Rooms come with a cute cookie, water, lots of toiletries from, robes, slippers, hairbrush, toothbrush, vanity kit, etc. There was a variety of breakfasts to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location with a lot to do if you take a short walk. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant. There is a bar upstairs with some great views, but the drinks are not amazing. At least the 2 I've tried. Haven't been in the pool, but it's not terribly big. The reasons for the bad review are as follows. Their laundry service is extremly over priced. If you stay here, I recommend asking the front desk for a nearby laundry mat that's properly priced. The laundry per item is anywhere from 3 to 7 euros. This means that if you do laundry with 2 or 3 days' worth of clothes, you're looking for over 100 euros. That is simply outrageous and ridiculous. Doing less than a load of laundry should cost nowhere near that much. On a separate note, bidets should be installed in every toilet as well to save toilet paper. It also would have been better if they had provided body soap. You're supposed to use the shampoo as a body wash as well. It's a nice hotel but I will not be returning.

4 star hotel with very funky interior design. Restaurant and breakfast are great, good quality and excellent staff. The rooftop bar has a marvellous view. Great service :) The room had a very nice view. But the bed was a bit too soft and there is nowhere to put those small things you might bring on a trip. Too much design and to little usability.

Fantastic hotel, lovely decor and rooms. Modern, clean. Staff really helpful. 10 minute walk to the harbour, 5 to La Rambla. Taxi rank outside. Nice buffet breakfast. Roof top terrace bar with 360 views of the city and a smallish open air pool. Gym in the basement. Good value and would definitely recommend it.

Cool hotel. Very different in its decoration. Rooms are small but not a big problem. Staff is great. Location is good if you want to be close to La Rambla, but not the best neighborhood. Keep an eye on your belongings, plenty of thieves on the street waiting for tourists. Would recommend this hotel,

I loved staying at this hotel! Great price, good space, lovely bar, roof top 360 view was priceless., competent staff. Amenities great as is location - lots of people saying it’s in a bad area but it’s a great location so long as you have some common sense. This will definitely be my go to hotel when I come back to Barcelona.

We stayed here for 9 nights and I have no faults to say about this hotel. Staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Rooms are elegant and clean. However, my one downfall with them was we did not receive a double bed but just two single beds pushed together. So sometimes I found myself falling down the crack. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Fabulous Rooftop Deck. Such a beautiful view especially during sunset as you catch the changing of the guard from day to night. Loved it so much I visited on two separate trips but be prepared for cooler temperatures during the winter months. The drink menu available is culturally appropriate with Sangria as a must, tasty wine and champagne. It can get crowded during the weekends and sunset brings out the crowds. Hotel is a aestetically pleasing as you enter the lobby (haven't stayed here) and it's free to come up here and enjoy the view. I recommend sharing this experience with a partner or a friend. It's Raval's hidden gem for sure. ✌️

This was the coolest hotel I've EVER (or will ever) stay at. Loved the funky interior. Loved the 360 degree rooftop bar (although I wouldn't exactly call the pool a pool... more of a soaking tub!). Loved the room and the lights on the floor which told you the room number. And I loved that there were so many places to eat within walking distance.

I went to the rooftop terrace with two other girlfriends a couple weeks back to check out the views and have some cocktails. All I can say is SPECTACULAR. Sandra (the bartender) went above and beyond to make our experience more than excellent. We need more Sandra’s in our world! Thank you for making our day so special!

Nice hotel, as the hotel is oval shaped the bathrooms are a bit cramped. The decor is black and pink! The downside is the location, you will sadly contend with drug users and petty thieves in the area. Be aware and it's fine, taxi rank just outside of needed The pool is really tiny in the roof, three people max

Great modern boutique style hotel. Amazing 360 views from the roof top bar. The biggest most comfortable bed I have ever experienced, best nights sleep. The shower area is quite exposed within the room, there is no separate bathroom with a door, no real privacy so be close if you are sharing a room with someone. Hotel is approx 8 min walk to La rambla, not on the nicest street but inside the hotel makes up for its location. Reception staff were so helpful with giving directions and helping us navigate the metro to travel the city. I would stay here again.

Stylish, clean and comfortable hotel within walking distance from the famous La Rambla. Buses and metro station at a couple of minutes walk. Rooftop bar is amazing with a good selection of cocktails. Nice restaurant with good food. Special shout-out to Angel, the waiter at the restaurant. Very jovial, pleasant young man with good knowledge of the menu!

The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The service is nice and supportive. The superior room is ok but could be refurbished by now. Towels are exchanged even if they are not on the ground and marked for not cleaning. The roof is nice and makes this hotel worth to book.

Dynamic design and incredibly helpful and courteous staff. We were greeted by the most charming individuals and they made sure we had a complimentary glass of Cava right away. The rooms are cute and modern with very comfortable beds. Most notably, however, is the rooftop terrace. The Panoramic 360 degree view is stunning and puts the magic of Barcelona in excellent perspective.

unfortunately we are not able to travel to this hotel (due to unexpected surgery). We tried to get in contact with the hotel to discuss to reschedule our stay or to cancel it with limited / or no costs (goodwill). After 6 or 7 emails they still not respond to this. Even if its not possible you should take the time to answer in my opinion. This hotel is an absolute fail in terms of customer satisfaction / customer experience. How on earth you can keep your customers satisfied or guarantee customers coming back. Pay attention to this.

Staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, polite, prompt and professional in their service. Room was clean, spacious and nicely anointed. Bedding was clean, comfortable and spacious. Centrally located to cultural and historical sites, as well as many fine bars and restaurants.

The service is incredible, you will feel very welcome here. The rooftop bar is very nice but a little small if you wanna sunbathe. The rooms were super nice but very open so if you are with friends or family be ready to shower in front of each other. Cleaning is perfect very clean rooms. Overall a great hotel.

One of best locations in the city center. Comfortable hotel with full Bar Barcelona view at the roof. Recommended.

A stylish modern hotel in the centre of Barcelona. The rooms could be a little bigger but they are well laid out and styled nicely. Service was very good, special thanks to Sandra who was very helpful and friendly every day at breakfast. Only thing that didn't meet expectations was the swimming pool, it's very small, basically just a shallow paddling pool / water feature that looks good next to the roof top bar, not something you can swim in.

  • 5/5 James B. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing views. Nice pool to take a dip in. The beds were so comfortable and soft, like marshmallow. One of the workers at the front desk even microwaved our food for us. They went above and beyond.

This Barcelo hotel, like other Barcelo hotels I had stayed at, boasts a modern interior that prioritizes form over function. The room design is interesting but definitely not comfy. The floors are cold and would have been nice to get a pair of complementary slippers. The beds are great, probably one of the most comfortable hotel mattress I’ve slept on. Check-in and -out were quick; staff at the reception always very polite and professional; cleaning was spotless. The breakfast could use some variety. Overall, pleasant stay and good value for money.

Wonderful hotel with good service, nice views of the city and reliable room service. I enjoyed the room conditions and the quality of the shower. Sleep like a baby on a nice mattress.
