One of the best hostels I've been to. The location is excellent with a metro station just around the corner, a carrefour express across the street and a walking distance from many major attractions. The staff was friendly and there is a free nice breakfast everyday. I would go again for sure.

IF YOU ARE A SOLO FEMALE TRAVELER STAY CLEAR! I was extremely disappointed by this hostel in more ways than one. Firstly it is dark and unwelcoming and one of the most unsocial hostels I have been to- so if you are planning on making friends, it is not the one for you. I am also a young female traveler, and I chose a MIXED room in this YOUTH hostel. However, I was put in a room with 5 middle aged men. When I expressed my feelings of feeling uncomfortable in this room, they told me they could not move my room. I therefore left the accommodation the following day in disappointment. When complaining about this further on message, the hostel staff lied and said I did not express these concerns… check cctv ? This excuse was clearly said so they would not have to give a refund. Would not recommend in any ways even if this situation had not happened. Was a blessing in disguise really as I changed to an amazing social hostel called Safestay, which is in a much better location, with friendly staff and amazing social areas- defo go there to avoid disappointment and steer clear of this dodgy hostel. Kind Regards xxx

Convenient location, close to public transport. Friendly staff. Clean room. We liked that as the room has no window, there is ventilation, which worked well, due to this it was quite fresh. Admistrator said they have free coffe and tea, we didn't try, but it's a good point. We arrived around 14:50, but should wait until 15:10-15:15, because room was not clean and ready yet, despite check in time is 14:00. WiFi was not very good at top floor. At bathroom we saw dead cockroach, unfortunately didn't make photo of it. We tried to heat room with air conditioning, but it didn't heat.

I spent 9 nights in Mambo tango. It was a lovely stay in a human-scale hostel. The staff is working like hell and remains so kind and helpfull. The breakfast is simple and fine. Poble sec district is really nice to live, not at the core of Barcelona madness but enjoyable for its numerous bars and restaurants. Stay as you are !

An amazing Hostel, we came here for three days. The staff was so kind, the room and bed are comfortable and there are many toilets and showers. The area is pretty convenient, right in the corner you have Blai street the famous tapas and pinchos street, and near to the gotic quarter. You have a kitchen and also after check out time you can leave your luggage for a while.

Not impressed with the fact that having paid for a bed I didn’t get my upgrade and was stuck with a bunk. Very sad ‘breakfast’ - plastic wrapped carbs and poor quality instant coffee.

Me and my friends stayed 2 nights in the room with 3 beds, right where the flags are on the outside. The communal space is very nice with a cooking nook which is a bit crammed but manageable, and the guys at the front desk are extremely nice and helpful (and their Olivia Rodrigo and Miley Cyrus lyrics knowledge is *chefs kiss*👌) The room itself was tiny, but perfectly big for sleeping after a long day of walking. The structure of the whole building is a bit awkward, the toilets and the showers are all over the place, and my only complaint would be that the street and the other residents can get a bit loud (there were a lot of stomping), and because we stayed in February it was cold, and we only got thin blankets. Otherwise, after checkout we had the opportunity to leave our bags in a safe room, so we didn't had to carry them around with us all day long, we could just collect them before our flight.

It was just ok - we've booked the double private room and was not as shown in the pics. The room was very humid (no window in the bathroom and the room window was located below the ceiling) The bathroom was not the best, in the shower the water pressure was definitely too strong. wifi connection was not working well. One night we could hear music until late at night from some nearby pub and just outside the room there's a small shared terrace that makes almost impossible to have privacy if someone is sitting there. Plus points: the location is very good, the staff is nice and the room was clean.

Great experience in a 6 bed, all female room, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff as well, it's clean, modern, they have a nice little living room where you can eat or chill in the basement, the area felt safe at night, showers were good, they even gave us a little complimentary breakfast, the price was great too. Would definitely go back.

It was a wonderful stay in a cosy place. The people at desk are super nice and the events they do at night, as Sangria Night or Taco night, are cool as an pre party. Loved it

Such a nice place! I went with my gf and stayed in a private room, the bed was very confortable! The bathroom was shared but that was no problem, will def come back! 😊

Great location. Literally a block away from the metro line that can take you to all the hot spots with barely any switches. Great restaurants close by. Would like more options for breakfast but that’s not a make it or break it for me. Also, gets a little loud in there because everything echos so if you’re a light sleeper just know that people come in and out and are also up early talking.

Ok place. But a red haired staff member inconvenienced me by not letting me leave luggage in their luggage room just for an hour.

I was in this hostel for like 5nights and liked it a lot. Nice&quiet small hostel with clean beds with curtain and all stuff necessary(locker, socket) The staff was very kind “son todos muy caramelos dulces” including la “Che-Bol…” the Venezuelans are cool and la Eularia(Ocularia) funny 🤪 I would recommend them for sure

Only lacalization is perfect. Close to the metro station, to the beach, shops, bars, parks. But they did not response for my message when I asked for change the date of my arrival. They even did not reject my request. Finally, I cancelled my booking via Airbnb and got less money back, because I was waiting for the reply from them. I need to check out earlier, I paid one more day, to be fair, because I farthest 12, so 1 hour after of the time of check out and they did not try be fair.

If there's 1 thing in which they stand out, it's their service. I forgot a piece of luggage in my room, and they went all out into helping get it back to Belgium. Thank you so much!

An excelent solution if you are in Barcelona and want Just a Place to rest in. Clean spaces (I was in the eight bed bedroom). Andres the receptionist Is great and can help you with almost anything you Need. The position Is terrific, near the underground station of Paral-lel and Just few meters away from poble sec, where you can join a great tapas experience. Hope to go back soon!

I've been in almost 50 hostels and this one was the cleanest one in all I've been. Everything was everyday constantly clean. The staff very helpful and friendly, polite and professional. There is a lot of bathrooms and showers, and the location it's near a big street of bar/tapas, restaurant and 3 minutes from the metro station. If I come back to Barcelona I will be back there. Thanks to the staff.

Exactly as expected, very friendly staff with water/tea/coffee available for free at all times and Sangria in the evenings. Rooms were clean and air-conditioned with a balcony, no faults from what we expected and very good value for money. Great location as well, very close to local restaurants and the metro

Location is great, the “bodega” Quimet i quimet next to the hostel is amazing. My room was clean, bathrooms are only shared by few people and the staff is nice.

Friendly, centrally located, fun environment. Barcelona is huge, this is close to the harbor, Montejuïc, cathedrals tons of plazas and food. Super helpful staff suggests very nice restaurants. Very close to Paral.lel stop which gets you anywhere.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & BIG FRAUD This hotel cheated me by providing an absolutely very poor standard room in the basement which was not as per the picture showcased on the website. They charged Euro 173.40 for two nights which is not even worth Euro 25 per night. The pictures shown on the website are fake. Please do not book this hotel. Secondly the break fast is absolutely bad, only bread and all rotten fruits with lot of dust on it. They are even not bothered to keep them cleaned. When we requested to refund next day booking for this injustice they straight away refused.

Good youth hostel, 15 minutes walk from the center Las Ramblas. We had a room for 2, twin separated bed though, not great for a couple and a bit old but the staff and the hotel's extra were highly appreciated (free tea, coffee, apple, water at any time. Great resting room + computers in the basement. Free bottle of sparkling wine in the double room. The breakfast was simple but enough for the price we paid the double room.

Clean and comfortable, and in a good location in Barcelona. Nearby several affordable and delicious tapas bars. Stayed in a double bedroom with a shared bathroom, the bedroom had an air conditioning unit which was a life saver in the Spanish summer heat! Staff was very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast of toast with jam, butter, ham, or cheese, or cereal. Coffee and orange juice also provided. Over all, a very comfortable hostal in a nice and not too touristy part of Barcelona.
