We
stayed
over
Christmas,
20-27th
Dec.
The
location
is
fabulous,
great
spot,
wonderful
views
and
easy
reach
of
Bari
Centre
&
Old
town.
The
hotel
is
very
modern,
almost
Avant
Gardé
in
terms
of
design,
however
its
more
about
style
than
function.
Our
room
was
generous
in
size,
but
didn't
really
work
very
well.
An
extra
large
bed
was
nice
but
the
'designer'
furniture
looked
nice
but
didn't
really
work.
A
single
wardrobe
with
shelves,
a
large
unit
with
a
Mini
bar
and
TV
on
top
did
little
to
add
any
functional
use.
Bedside
'tables'
that
again
fail
to
offer
any
storage.
Bathroom
was
good,
although
for
a
windowless
room
it
had
no
extraction?
And
why
only
one
trash
bin,
surely
one
would
expect
a
pedal
bin
in
the
bathroom
and
a
waste
paper
basket
in
the
bedroom?
We
tried
their
€20
per
head
breakfast,
which
is
served
in
the
beautiful
6th
floor
restaurant
that
overlooks
the
promenade
and
to
the
far
horizon
over
the
sea.
Breakfast
was
not
in
anyway
5
Star,
a
few
pastries,
a
poor
selection
of
breads,
some
cold
cuts,
cheese,
and
rubbery
scrambled
eggs,
and
stewed
coffee
from
an
urn!?
Apparently
we
could
have
had
fresh
coffee
but
had
to
ask,
none
of
the
waiting
staff
offered
or
showed
any
interest
in
our
presence.
And
at
€20
per
head,
just
really
poor
value,
and
not
what
I'd
expect
of
a
5
star
hotel.
After
that
experience
we
didn't
risk
eating
in
the
restaurant.
All
in
all
lots
of
style
but
not
real
substance.
On
a
positive
note,
the
reception
staff,
where
excellent,
helpful
and
welcoming.
