Worst 5 star hotel I’ve been in. By no means 5 star accommodation at all and extremely overpriced. Rooms are dirty, old and very run down. Walls are stained, furniture is dinged and restroom appliances are moldy. Found a piece of someone’s hair on the toilet and desk when I walked in the room. As well as a piece of toast in the hall and cockroach on the floor of another room. Then, the receptionist did not want to accept credit cards, by claiming that 3 different cards were declined, however that was not possible and the banks didn’t send a single message. Avoid this place by all means.

Our check in was easy except our front desk person was reprimanded in front of us. This was very unprofessional as he was very personable and helpful. Our courtesy tray did not have power nearby so we had to move the kettle across the room. No outlet near the desk for work. The shower is open in the middle of the room and really needed repairs too. The room color and design were not to our taste.

Not a 5 star, not even with the amazing panotamic sea views. Outdoor furniture worn out with ripped cushions and foam exposed..on the bed sheet there was a rusty stain. Breakfast was excellent. They shouldn't call spa the facilities they have: no reception or soft music playing in the background. Furthermore, no hydropool or steam room but a box (those self assembly ones) they call sauna which wasn't even working.

Don’t be fooled by the 5 stars and fancy exterior and lobby. The rooms are dated and in need of a renovation to be a 5 star hotel. The bed is horrible, very hard and the pillows are too soft and old. Our bedding was stained, they replaced it with fresh bedding it was stained as well. The staff left us a fruit platter to apologize but the one of the napkins was badly stained as well, we didn’t eat the fruit cause we were grossed out. Shower is mouldy and has water damage all around it. Walls and furniture are dirty and show lots of wear and tear. It was a pricey place to rest our heads and we will never go back. Even the mirrors and lighting by the bed were worn and didn’t stay where you wanted them too. Do yourself a favour and book a cute Airbnb in Bari Vecchia. It’s a much better way to experience Bari.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cool and eclectic, clean and comfortable. The location was great as it was close to old town and new. Plenty of restaurants nearby and shopping was in walking distance. The breakfast was in the rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the bay. Highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent! It’s never fun to be sick especially when traveling abroad. I came down with a very bad ear and sinus infection when I arrived in Bari and was basically confined to my room for a few days. I cannot stress how well the staff took care of me. Checking in on me, asking if I needed anything. Providing room service and just making me feel comfortable. I treated myself to the most amazing massage and body scrub which did wonders for me. The massage therapist here is the best I have ever had. This hotel is located walking distance from old town Bari and most of the sites and is directly across from the beautiful beach and boardwalk. It’s a little less than a mile from the train station but you can catch a taxi for 10 euro if needed. The rooftop restaurant is elegant and delicious and all of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable and great location! Thank you to all the caring staff at the hotel.

Good: great location, spacious room, clean, parking service Negative: should have had a room with a panorama sea view. What we got was a room with two windows facing the sea but that’s not even close to panorama. The bedroom is set up as an open bed and bathroom concept which makes it almost impossible to do something in the room without waking the other person up. It was not pointed out when booking the room. I would have never expected that room in the first place The so called gym is a shoe box with a few older model equipment and no chance to apply social distance i.e Service at breakfast very slow, takes forever to get coffee and when you get in a bit later you are being rushed All in all not even close to a five star hotel

A big disappointment. A five star hotel that: - initially the receptionist that I had the check in with didn't allow me to press my shirt, I had to come back the next morning and ask once again to the receptionist that was very helpful at the end - room was nice but old and not properly tidy, stains on the wall (check the picture attached) are inacceptable for a 5 star hotel - parking very expensive - breakfast nice but with a small variety of food - the "gym" is a room with 4 old equipment Basically a nice place, but not what you expect for the price of a 5 stars hotel in Bari in January Clarissa, the receptionist with whom I've done the check out was the only saver of this place.

This morning we went to the breakfast room in the 6th floor via staircase. By our surprise the staircase access was blocked with tables and chairs! This is also the only emergency exit from the 6th floor restaurant downstairs and they are blocking it! THEY ARE PLAYING WITH THE LIVE OF THEIR GUESTS HERE!

The hotel is definitely not a 5*, it is a 4*. It’s too expensive for the service they offer and rooms require some renovations. View from the room was also not great. There’s no parking inside the building, they offer a valet service but it was very expensive. I did not visit the spa and the fitness area, ao I cannot give you an opinion. Staff precise and very attentive! Overall very expensive and not at the level of our expectations. Although, location is absolutely excellent! Only 10 min on foot from Bari Vecchia!

The hotel lobby is very nice and everyone working there is friendly and attentive. The location is perfect. On the other hand, the rooms need to be updated. The shower cabin must be replaced (it was dirty and half broken). The hairdryer was extremely old and stopped working every 2 min. The room decoration could be much better (did not look like 5* hotel). They have the chance to make an amazing pool area with a great view but it is small, without shadow/bar and the decoration must be improved (printed image on the wall...). The bar service was extremely slow even though it was not busy except for one lady (redhair) who was super friendly and fast. One day we waited 40 minutes for 2 cocktails and I had to ask what happened with the drinks as were planning to leave already. The fridge in the room was not working properly, it does not look like a big deal but when the temperature is 40°C outside, it is nice to have cold water inside. The food at the restaurant was very good.

The location is great but that’s where it ends! The rooms are so out dated and need an upgrade, definitely not a 5 star hotel. The bar fridge buzzed all night! Not a great view from our room, the hall ways are dark and dingy. Why isn’t there milk supplied in the bar fridge for morning tea or coffee in Europe?

This was a lovely modern hotel. Service was great, pool was lovely and heated, restaurant was very good with a lovely view of the promenade. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the bed was hard. It could use a puffy mattress pad. But a lovely stay with very helpful staff.

Minus one star for suboptimal cost-benefit ratio. In general, the hotel earns solid 4 stars while charging 5-star room prices. Breakfast, which is served on the top floor with a great view, is good, in particular sweet pastry is well-represented. The rest is just ok for a 4-star hotel. The size of our Panorama room was ok but nothing tremendous. The mattresses are quite firm. The view on the sea and the old town is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained. However, as it often happens in Italian hotels, splendor is quite often favored over convenience.

The best hotel in Bari with great views, great staff and a magical rooftop pool. I recommend this beautiful 5 star hotel to everyone.

We stayed over Christmas, 20-27th Dec. The location is fabulous, great spot, wonderful views and easy reach of Bari Centre & Old town. The hotel is very modern, almost Avant Gardé in terms of design, however its more about style than function. Our room was generous in size, but didn't really work very well. An extra large bed was nice but the 'designer' furniture looked nice but didn't really work. A single wardrobe with shelves, a large unit with a Mini bar and TV on top did little to add any functional use. Bedside 'tables' that again fail to offer any storage. Bathroom was good, although for a windowless room it had no extraction? And why only one trash bin, surely one would expect a pedal bin in the bathroom and a waste paper basket in the bedroom? We tried their €20 per head breakfast, which is served in the beautiful 6th floor restaurant that overlooks the promenade and to the far horizon over the sea. Breakfast was not in anyway 5 Star, a few pastries, a poor selection of breads, some cold cuts, cheese, and rubbery scrambled eggs, and stewed coffee from an urn!? Apparently we could have had fresh coffee but had to ask, none of the waiting staff offered or showed any interest in our presence. And at €20 per head, just really poor value, and not what I'd expect of a 5 star hotel. After that experience we didn't risk eating in the restaurant. All in all lots of style but not real substance. On a positive note, the reception staff, where excellent, helpful and welcoming.

Place was big and clean. Staff are quiet nice. Place near to the sea. Foods are taste good and seafood was fresh. Rooms were great too. Beautiful sites on terrace view.

Great building, good hotel with fantastical design detailing. Wonderful panoramic terrace with view. Great location. Didn’t try restaurant and bar closed at 7.30pm (a non event in my book). Ciao

Great location along the water. Good shopping, dining and sightseeing close by. Nice, clean, comfortable and friendly. What you would expect from an IH hotel.

Really lovely rooms, beautiful roof terrace and the staff were all very helpful. The most important thing though - breakfast! Really short staffed, even though the staff were good so it took half an hour of hunting a serving person to get a coffee. When it did arrive, it was genuinely the worst coffee I've had in Italy, which is saying something for a five star hotel! Average breakfast buffet, not a lot of effort put into options outside bacon and eggs. OK but personally I wouldn't stay here again

Nice view and located near a lot of great restaurants and also of course the city center. Friendly staff and great service. Furniture and some of the room equipment is a bit weird an needed some getting used to. At night when you open the windows, you can hear the city and the weekend crowds outside… which was actually quite enjoyable and had a calming effect on me.

While the location was great and the staff friendly, it felt in no way like a 5 star hotel. The interior to me personally felt incredibly unaesthetically pleasing and very dated, badly in need of an update.

The staff were excellent. So welcoming. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. Graziana in reception was brilliant. She gave us so much information and provided a great service.

Good choice for recent time off at Bari. Location is great to many places, not far away from Bari Centrale Rail Station. Room with great sea view, clean and nice setup. Shower setup great not far from bed….pillows were as requested. Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant where breakfast was served at top floor with magnificent view……we will return on next trip for longer stay.
