The studio rooms are very nice but whomever cleans the studio rooms do not clean very well. I have OCD and was not Happy when I saw dirt around the toilet area and to be honest I saw like 3 bedbugs.

DO NOT STAY HERE my husband and I had a tree fall on our home and no power for 4 days due to a very bad storm. All hotels in our local area were completely booked because of everyone else losing power. We drove AN HOUR AND A HALF in the middle of the night to find comfort and ac and power. Any motel/hotels ONLY job is to provide a home away from home. And this was anything but that. First our room was downgraded from a king to a double queen because they don't have king suites in the first floor and don't allow pets on second floor. The man we booked with on the phone works here, knew this, and did not book accordingly (nor did he give us the correct price we were going to be paying so when I got there the bill was HIGHER than quoted). Bathroom had what looked like some kind of mold on the ceiling and in the sink. The showerhead was covered in a layer of nasty gunk and the grout was absolutely moldy. I couldn't even shower because it was so disgusting. I go to get in bed and spot a mysterious stain and started peeling back every layer of sheets down to the MATTRESS and ALL of it was stained and clearly hadn't been washed in lord knows how long. The stains were brown and looked like someone had smeared poo or other bodily fluids during intercourse! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING And because housekeeping wasn't there (it was the middle of the night) we got clean sheets from the person working (knew they were clean because they were still warm and not covered in giant brown stains) and had to put them on ourselves which we have NEVER experienced at ANY hotel we've ever stayed at in our frequent travels. I couldn't even trust to sleep under them. Other guests who were there while we waited for the employee to bring our sheets said they had the same issue and the employee disclosed that we had NOT been the first people THAT NIGHT to complain about this issue. I called Monday morning to speak to the manager SHITEL and she was defensive and combative and wouldn't even let me get a single word out and just kept saying "you stayed tho" and I'm like IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND WE WERE EXHAUSTED BUT YOUR ROOMS ARE UNACCEPTABLE. This location absolutely needs to be shut down. Photos: Dusty headboard (where it is clean is where my husband wiped to see how bad) Pillow (not the case but the pillow itself) with a nasty brown stain. The mattress pad that you can see at least one of the many giant brown stains(the lighting makes it too bright almost to see the rest of the gross stains that we showed the night worker)

Do not come here👎👎👎If I could give this place zero stars I would. Dirty floors, walls and ceiling. Bathroom was disgusting, all blankets had stains, killed three big spiders when we got here. Dead bugs in all corners of the room, flies, smelled like someone had a puppy mill in here. We drove 8 hours, have been waiting on this vacation for weeks and so very disappointed. Will not recommend, I beg you not to come here at all. No refunds so I’m sure we are stuck with our reservation for the weekend🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Absolutely don't recommend. "No Smoking Property" absolutely false. There were multiple people smoking weed here. I was just trying to find a place to stay for my family that was close to the Kellogg Arena for the convention but this was a horrible experience. We even had the two rooms right next to us filled with people (including some of the workers for this place) talking really loudly and yelling obscenities and you could hear it clear as day. No privacy. No Smoking Property? False. Kid Friendly? False. If you're coming just for the convention at Kellogg Arena, either spend a little bit more money for a nicer place or don't come here all. Not only read the reviews properly, but don't even stay at a motel.

My room I paid for was filthy and smelled horrible. I had to buy air freshener and spray half the bottle around the room. The rug had dog pee on it. The fridge stunk. The blankets and towels were stained. There was a burn hole in the comforter. No remote for the TV and the lobby lady was rude. Only good thing about this place is the pool.

This place was actually decent and affordable. If your a working with a budget and don't want to break the bank this is a good spot for that. Pros: affordable, the rooms are somewhat nice, service is quick, free breakfast. The reason for 4 stars is because the bedding had stains which is kinda gross, and the main wall where the door is located is about as thick as a piece of plywood.

Clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, no bedbugs or roaches make it a definite winner. I always read the reviews before booking. Basic cable... no perks. Check-in went quickly and without any issues. The staff is very nice and friendly.

The website says they have enhanced cable all they have is smart TV's hooked to WiFi and the WiFi signal keeps dropping so you barely get to watch anything

Its an average rate and quality hotel. We didn’t have any issues. However, another guest had reported his truck being broken into. We had a quiet night and were never bothered, so all in all not bad. Pets are free 1 per night I believe.

I don't understand the negative reviews, I've stayed here several times the last year or so. Every time I've stayed my room has been clean, comfortable and quiet, management has always been friendly and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement is the cable tv, very limited choices

Rooms weren't too bad but needed to definitely be cleaned better. They also need to get better towels and stuff. Towels were little and very dingy. Maintenance Man was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was great. I had a room with two queen beds, which was nice because I was traveling alone. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! They had eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruit and yogurt for free. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again if I ever needed to go back to Battle Creek!

I was in Battle Creek for business and stayed at the Red Roof Inn. The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. The breakfast was great, and everyone was friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Red Roof Inn is a great place to stay while visiting Battle Creek. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. We had a good night's sleep in one of their rooms and they were very quiet at night. The breakfast was also very good!

This was disappointing even for a budget hotel. The bed was hard as a rock, the TV didn't work and neither did one of lights, the bathroom door didn't close, and it's was hard to stop the faucet from dripping. The front desk staff wasn't very good either. This is how our exchange went: Me: Hi Him: ... Me: ... Him: ... Me: We'd like like a room. Him: ... Me: ... Him: ... Me: Do you have a room with a king bed? Him: Yeah Me: ... Him: ... Me: How much would it cost? Him: $X Me: ... Him: ... Me: Do you want our credit card perhaps? Him: ID please I swear the whole interaction was like that.

As a constant traveler this room is well worth the rate at which this hotel offers. My coworkers staying at other local hotels have complained about their rooms and room rate. Since then have moved and are happy here. Hotel manager Raj and staff have been very helpful with providing everything I need to make my stay comfortable. Everything you need is within a few block radius.

You get what you pay for normally. Drove for 16 hours, needed a bed, was the cheapest in town, was pleasantly surprised, bed was average, but clean, you might say spotless, checked out shower it was hot, like real hot loved it 👌, soap and other basic amenities were still in room, room was clean, slight pleasant smell in room not to much or not enough. , overall for a $60 room was very happy. If I stop again I will go again. Definitely got more than I paid for, or at least used to getting for these budget cheaper motels.

For this area, this place is a deal. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They have a crew cleaning the property every morning so it's well kept. The rooms aren't great but for the price they are clean and quiet at night so you can get a good night sleep.

I had a really nice room with a comfy bed. I was traveling with a friend and we both slept so well. The woman at the desk was lovely, and the whole property felt cozy. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the breakfast, but that's pretty common for hotels. I definitely recommend staying here. Affordable, clean, and comfy.

Check in to the hotel was good. Nice garden, clean pool, but as soon as we opened the room door it smelled bad, room was dirty(walls, floors, mirrors) laid on the bed and noticed sheets had stains and pulled the covers over and blood stains. Did not sleep with any covers that night. Third day there our stuff goes missing shoes, towels body sprays colognes. Sketchy people walking around the hotel, people in rooms smoking weed. Our kids asked to get in the pool and they told us it wasn’t open.

Located in a good area. Look safe, front desk on duty all night. Clean room. WAYYY better than the Chicago one. However I didn’t like the bed it’s a hard spring mattress. Other then the bed, the hotel is a good. Rental on a Sunday

Power was out in Battle Creek so I was super excited to find a room. Much better than sleeping home with no power no air no fan no TV. The room was pretty clean I would have paid a little more detail to the windows and the mirrors because those are what you noticed first. Other than that the room was pretty good reading the reviews. I think people expect a lot more for a $70 a night room. The only thing that irked me was the remote batteries were dead. I was surprised by how nice the bathroom was it was very clean. I would stay here again if I needed to.

Check in was easy, and the rooms & pool were clean. Good TV programming . But the need to make a few up dates on the rooms but not much. The suite was as a small apt. Full size microwave & apartment size fridge. But there are not enough amenities for the price.

Tried to give us a room with no air conditioning on one of the hottest days. There was no clean towels and the bathroom was dirty. Good location around everything. Reasonable prices, but you get what you pay for.

Was a great stay from Wednesday night til check out on Sunday. Staff was very friendly. Was quiet compared to other Red Roof locations I've been to. Very dog friendly between that and the nice staff. Clean rooms! Stayed for a dog show, and will stay again next year.

Love visiting and staying at this hotel. The management and staff go above and beyond for there customers. Clean, safe, comfortable and reasonably priced for the everyday person(s). Will always visit the red roof inn when in the Battle Creek, MI area. Also will suggest my family and friends to visit and enjoy there stay at the red roof inn Battle Creek, MI. They do great work.

Stayed here as a last result from the other options of see other dirty hotels across the street after booking 2 other hotels and cancelling them. Staff was great and actually walked me to the room to confirm cleanliness. Well the bugs come out at night and was in my daughters bed. Yes bed Bugs and the mattress was horrible filled with Feces from the bedbugs and trash behind the bed. I called the front desk to let them know and she offered the last room that was way worse shape then the one I had already. It’s 3am and I’m drained. Tub/shower was small shower head up to my stomach and didn’t have a clean shower curtain. Staff and outside property looks nice that’s why I give them a 1star other than that run

My room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to all my needs. I will always stay here when traveling and recommend this hotel for a good night's rest. Very quiet and outside is kept clean.

The two guys at the office who checked us in were very nice and accommodating. They gave great suggestions on breakfast ideas. The room itself was very nice for the stay the bathroom had the essentials and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The only thing are the thin walls, we heard the man next door coughing and hacking. After he stopped we were able to fall asleep but each hotel has noise. There wasn’t noise outside and the parking lot was quiet at night. We would stay again if in the area. It was right by a Culver’s so we enjoyed ice cream too!
