If I could give it zero stars, I would. It seems as though the hotel is made of tissue paper. I heard door slams all throughout the night and noises that felt like the whole hotel was right in my room. I could hear every car that drove by and every noise from the parking lot. The room felt disgusting. The tub, ceilings, bed, chairs, and just about every aspect of the room was dirty. It had a weird stink and seemed like somebody sprayed some air freshener and called it good. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. I might have gotten more sleep. Avoid this place, if you can.

Don't stay here. Spend the extra $20-30 to stay at a Marriott or IHG property if in Bellingham. I was shocked at the poor quality of this motel which is in sore need of an upgrade. Check in was easy with a kind desk associate at 10:30pm. Found out before checking in that the pool was unavailable, despite still being an advertised amenity (and one reason we picked this property). The lobby had an off-putting scent to it and it unfortunately was the same inside of our room. Ice machine was broken on our floor. The hallway walls and exterior doors were dirty. The carpet seemed fine but was definitely stickier than what you'll experience at a 3-star property. Bathroom was neglected with a poor shower fixture, flickering lighting and marker on the door in several spots. Desk outlets did not work, only one wall outlet near the bed, no tissues. Noise outside the property was super minimal but the hallways were loud and light seeped in under the door - could hear every single thing happening in the hall ranging from loud voices, to slamming doors, to housekeeping. Just not worth what we paid at all.

Found hair in my clean towels (x2) and some sort of gross bit stuck to another. Rooms are decent size. Bathtubs are great size and there are heat lights which was nice.

DON'T DO IT!! IT'S A TRAP!! This place is rubbish! The rooms are dirty. The staff is rude. The debris from the "renovation" and they price gouge you!! When I brought my concerns to the corporate contact, I was sent back to the hotel itself. I got 1 email from the manager. Now I am on ignore. Save yourself some money, nausea and headache and stay at Motel 6 at least their rates match what you get!

I realize we were not a priority because we used a 3rd party to book our room but I had not spent more than 20 total minutes in this hotel and was given FOUR rooms, not by our choice either. We arrived early and asked if they could check us in, the person was new so the manager was helping out and said as long as the room was marked as clean - we could check in. They checked me into room 106 but when I got there it was not fit for occupancy - it appeared to be mid renovation - how they did not know this when it was literally just down the hall from the front desk I will never know. When I went up to tell them, I didn't have time to sort a new room so I said we would be back figuring that would give them plenty of time to get things sorted. **wrong** We came back 5 hours later (one hour after check in time) and the same new lady was there and acted like I already knew the room we should be in and that it was I was already checked in - which was technically true but had she already forgotten the whole mess from the morning? Anyway we were given room 118 which when we arrived was in the middle of being cleaned so not ready. Back to the front desk and we were moved to room 217, got in and went to the restroom and as we were leaving the clerk was just about to knock on the door, she told us that we had to move because the room we booked was actually bigger (bigger than a 2 queen room?). There was a customer standing behind her who apparently the room was meant for. I asked if we could just stay and they said no, we had a bigger room down the hall. Room 224 was not bigger, it was a single queen and we had a reservation for 3 people. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk she first said "my manager said..." and then offered me a roll away bed. Luckily, my daughter was able to get moved on campus that day so we didn't need the bed. So after 4 rooms we still don't have the right accommodations. I very much looked forward to checking out the next morning. What a horrible experience.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Toilet was dirty, burner pans in kitchenette were dirty with burnt food still in them. Room smelled of fresh paint but didn’t look like it. TV Remote didn’t work. Sketchy area with homeless roaming the parking lot picking up half used cigarettes. Expected a half decent place for what we paid but won’t be back. The AC did work well and the beds were comfortable enough.

I'm currently homeless because of lighthouse ministries won't let me stay there at base camp. I haven't heard anything back from the Base Camp and I'm really not happy with The Lighthouse ministries and Opportunity Council because they all deceived me and lied to me and said that they would help me stay at the YWCA back in September 10,2022 and then I was evicted from the YWCA on Thanksgiving Day 2022& I have been diagnosed with stage 3 skin and stomach cancers and I am not getting any income from DSHS or Social Security Admin or Government Agencies I have been at the Baymont Inn for 18 days I've come to love the Baymont Inn and Suites Staff . I just want to put a shout-out to Heather and Elena Thank you for all your hard work and your friendliness love you have shown my family and I.

I still have three more nights here but I'll be in a queen with a kitchenette for the remainder of my stay so I'll update then. The bed is comfortable and clean. It's very outdated but mostly in a charming way. It would've been nice to have had the freezer ice thawed off but...The bathroom has a heat lamp and a regular light but the regular light (and fan) don't turn off like no switch at all. Weird but OK...The only problem with old and charming is that there aren't any open outlets near the bed to charge my phone tonight. I have an extremely long cord but I still only goes to the foot of the bed. Lol there are actually several outlets built in to the desk, good old times. I'm posting pictures of the non-defrosted freezer, the bed and comfortable layout of the room and also the inside of the door doesn't have the locking half of the security lock. Also the bathtub was dirty with loose pieces of who knows but there was also a p***c hair, gross. I told the desk clerk who had already been very nice, welcoming and helpful and he did offer me another room. All of these things that seem negative (except for the dirty bathtub lol) are really not so important to me that's why I'm still giving it 4 stars. I just want to be informative for those of you who would not be OK with these little flaws.

Photos online of this hotel are very deceptive. Booked this for a quick one night stay and was disappointed. The room was dingy but clean-ish. The lobby felt very run down and honestly not welcoming. Upon check in there were random people drinking in the lobby and the front desk clerk was very rude. The property of the hotel also did not feel safe as we could hear people outside yelling all evening. The bed was actually comfortable though and it was pretty cheap.

Once upon a time, in the heart of a bustling city, there stood an elegant and mysterious hotel named "The Enchanted Rose." It was said to be more than just a place to rest; it held magical secrets within its walls that only a chosen few could uncover. The hotel's history traced back to a time long ago, when it was rumored that a sorceress lived in the very building where The Enchanted Rose now stood. Legend had it that she crafted a powerful enchanted rose that possessed the ability to grant wishes to those who truly deserved them. Over the years, The Enchanted Rose had been passed down from one owner to another, each inheriting the magical legacy and guarding the secrets carefully. Many guests who stayed at the hotel sensed an otherworldly presence and felt that their dreams had an uncanny way of coming true during their stay. One evening, a young woman named Emily checked into The Enchanted Rose. She had just graduated from college and was at a crossroads in her life, unsure of what path to take. As she settled into her room, she noticed a shimmering rose-shaped locket on the bedside table. Curious, she opened it to find a note that read, "Make a wish, and let your heart guide you." Intrigued by the message, Emily closed her eyes and wished with all her heart to find her true calling in life. As she opened her eyes, she felt a gentle breeze enveloping her, and suddenly, a warm light emanated from the locket, surrounding her with an ethereal glow. The following morning, Emily awoke feeling different. She had a newfound clarity and a sense of purpose she hadn't experienced before. During her stay, she met intriguing characters who seemed to have their own connections to the hotel's magic. There was Mr. Evergreen, the wise and gentle gardener, who could make flowers bloom even in the coldest of winters. Mrs. Fitzgerald, the elegant and mysterious hotel manager, always seemed to know just what each guest needed to find happiness. As the days passed, Emily explored the hotel's nooks and crannies, uncovering hidden doors that led to secret gardens and forgotten libraries. Each discovery seemed to be connected to a piece of her own journey, and she felt a deep sense of belonging. One evening, she found herself in the grand ballroom, where a masquerade ball was in full swing. As she twirled around the dance floor, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. To her astonishment, she saw not her own reflection but the sorceress who had once lived in the hotel. In that moment, she realized that she was connected to the Enchanted Rose in a way she could never have imagined. As the days turned into weeks, Emily's wish began to unfold. She discovered a talent for storytelling and writing that she never knew she had. She started penning tales of magic, adventure, and the mysteries of The Enchanted Rose. Over time, the hotel's reputation grew, and people from all over the world sought its magic and charm. Each guest who stayed at The Enchanted Rose left with a piece of its enchantment, whether it was newfound creativity, a rekindled love, or a sense of purpose. And so, The Enchanted Rose continued to weave its magical tales, inviting those with open hearts and pure intentions to experience the wonders within its walls. It remained a sanctuary for dreamers and seekers, a place where wishes came true, and the boundaries of reality and fantasy blurred ever so gracefully.

The lobby was a mess--shelving haphazardly placed, walls were half painted, carpet was old, stained, and the doors were badly in need of paining or actually replacing. The room mirrored the hallway and lobby - old, worn out, baseboards were in need or replacement, the bed was OK but definitely needed a new mattress, the room was basically an echo chamber. We did not like this hotel at all.

I was completely insulted by the guy behind the counter. I've been a very clean and quiet guest. I was double charged for the night and when I brought it up to him he proceeded to tell me that I was just gonna have to wait and that I wasn't charged twice. I booked thru the wyndham app at a discounted rate and paid. Then the person working the desk charged me again at the regular rate. I showed him my receipts and statement and he told me to have more money so I didn't have to worry about this etc... He continued with I needed to pay on time. Mind you I paid at 10:04am. Then he said there was an issue with door slamming and an old couple. Yes there was because they kept slamming their door so I asked if they could not slam the door. Then he tried to say I had people hanging around outside my door which is completely false. My sister and brother in law stopped by 2 times to visit and they never hung outside my door. He threatened that I was going to be put on the do not rent list!!! All because I wanted my 128.00 reimbursed. I have been in customer service for about 30 years and this kid should find another line of work. I'm outraged and appalled. I'll be making formal complaints and leaving reviews. It's sad really because the other people are fantastic and very kind. .

I was disappointed in a number of things related to my stay. As both a rehab RN & a person who walks with a cane, disability accommodations are lacking here. No noticeable w/c parking near the entrance. Front door doesn't have any pneumatic device to slow how quickly it closes & kept getting my suitcase caught as I tried to walk in. The night manager's comment was it's an old door. I commented that even old doors can be retrofitted. Room- no electricity outlet on the wall side of bed. The lights between the beds doesn't work. & you can't 'tightly' plug in any electric devices in the outlet under the lights that don't work... perhaps that's why the lights don't work... they can't be securely plugged in. Bathtub has no floor grippers so can be a fall hazard with that steeply sloped floor. The hair dryer was pulled out of the wall & they hadn't even made basic wall repairs.

All the new stuff for the hotel. Really comfy beds and really clean couldn't find any dust even though they were doing renovations. The downside and most important was the AC was making really bad noise and was hard to sleep 😴. Breakfast!!!!!!!!??????? For a hotel providing disposable cups and no fresh milk or cream

I would not recommend staying here. The rooms and furniture are pretty old, the washroom was not that clean either. Staff was overall nice just took time to get things done. There was one particular stuff member named Matt who was extremely rude and should not be working in the hospitality and service industry. He outright told us he does not have time for our requests. A normal person who is working in the hospitality industry would redirect us to somebody else instead he decided to use poor words and stormed away. We ended up changing hotels because of him and stayed at comfort suites down the street. Comfort suites was a million times better super clean and staff was extremely kind. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Upon first entering out room it appeared neat and tidy on the surface. Bathroom could use more housekeeping attention. Long black hairs everywhere which I just cleaned up with a wad of toilet paper lol. Beds were super comfy and clean. Hotel was close to everything we required.

The hotel is absolutely Disgusting !!! Our room was absolutely freezing when we got there, front door to our room would not lock with the swing arm/dead bolt, bathroom door wouldn’t close ,falling apart, bathtub had water sitting in it, there was mold on the ceiling above the bathtub in the corner, furnace was loud and wouldn’t stop running unless it was shut off, front lobby was cold , the lobby door would not close, very little parking, would not ever stay there again!

We had extra guests in the hotel room. We told the front desk we were expecting a full refund and catching a live bed bug was pretty convincing. Reported the infestation to WA state. Employees were helpful but not well trained to identify signs of bed bugs until I brought a live one down and explained why it wasn't a mite. Staining on the mattress can be seen. This doesn't happen with just a single bed bug. There were stains all over the mattress and the whole room smelled musty.

There were dogs barking in hotel rooms. The lightbulbs that were to be in the bathroom were removed. The floor coverings in the room were disgustingly filthy. I spoke with the manager three separate times about dogs barking and nothing was done. This hotel was like living in a homeless camp except you were paying $100 a night.

Rude and not friendly they kicked me and my family out for having too much garbage which we bagged up . But having 6 kids should obviously be noted as we have alot of food they need to eat too. Basically they don't want families there only drug users and cops in and out of the building and people making noise all hours of the day and night. They didn't want to admit having bed bugs because obviously they'd have to shut down or have all the rooms treated and me and my family were to blame they said .

The food in the breakfast room was expired for one two the staff is falsely under the impression that they are the only human beings who speak fluent Spanish. They entered my room when me and my husband weren't there well the front desk lady did and had a housekeeper outside on the lookout for us. My dog was out of the bathroom when I got back from a trip to the store but she has been known to open doors so I brushed it off until I heard the woman and the front desk and a housekeeper having a conversation in Spanish over the intercom about what they had done. Smh I believe they have an issue with black people well . As per their interesting conversation I know they do. Will not be staying here again.

The hotel is conveniently located and has curb appeal. It stops at the door. The lobby is bleak, the hotel is run down. The room ( 2-queen) is small and the bathroom is the size of a coffin. Moldy grout in the shower- gross. On the positive side, good water pressure and the window opens which is helpful because the room smells. Front desk help were polite. There are better hotels for the money.

Misleading & Disgusting We came up to see our daughter at WWU and we normally stay at another "name-brand" hotel when we travel but I wanted to “step up” the quality of our lodging as a treat for my wife. So based on price and website descriptions, we booked a night at the Baymont in Bellingham. Unfortunately we experienced instant regret once we arrived. The website photos were very misleading and are not accurate AT ALL!!. First off, there is NO POOL as it has been filled with concrete. The interior is VERY worn-out, dated, cluttered, and just smells dirty. Peeling paint, suspicious stains, warning signs that prohibit visitors, and dilapidated conditions abound everywhere. The lobby was a mess of boxes, scattered furniture, and debris and unfortunately it appears ownership couldn't care less. Once upstairs, we found that our room was atrociously dirty. The bathroom reeked of old urine and the shower was filthy and came decorated with used soap, shampoo and wash cloths. I complained to the employee at the front desk and was told by the obviously exasperated young man that the owner knows about the condition of his “investment” and hasn’t made efforts to improve it. In fact he stated they hadn't seen the owner in over a month!!! He was very understanding as he gets complaints like this every day and offered me a $40 discount as it was the best he could do. I literally paid $250 for one night and I had to ask for cleaning chemicals to clean my own bathroom as housekeeping was gone and there were no other rooms available. I’ve never paid money to be on my hands and knees cleaning a filthy circa 1984 pink toilet before, so I guess I can check that off my list. Then to add fuel to my frustrations, there was a maintenance guy using a Roto-drill to make holes in the concrete floor to bolt down an ice machine outside our room at 9:30pm. Sorry maintenance guy for yelling at you but really???? Flat pillows, a hard mattress, and a crazy loud in-room refrigerator made for an extremely restless night. And to top off the experience of a lifetime, in the morning we made our way downstairs in the clunky worn-out elevator only to find that the continental breakfast wasn’t even worth fighting our way into the tiny breakfast room for. Mr. "absent" Hotel Owner…. you sir are a slumlord. I do believe a full refund is in order...

We arrived today with two small children in bathing suits, so excited to swim! Goggles worn as headbands, tossing their fully inflated floaties around the lobby and down the hall. The front desk clerk was pleasant, checked us in for our stay, and sent us off to our room with key cads, failing to mention to us that the pool had been filled in completely with concrete.

I stayed there for three days to get my daughter off to college at WWU. The staff was friendly. The location is pretty sketchy but it's close to lots of shopping and the mall. We brought our bicycles inside our room rather than leaving them locked on our car bike rack. The beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet was really gross. It doesn't look that old but it really needs a deep cleaning or something. Also, we had an accessible room and the door didn't really latch unless you pulled on it really hard.

Room was very run down. Needs paint and some "cootie" cleaning. Specs on bathroom wall and dirt in corners.. Toilet seat ready to fall off. Very long dark hair hanging from towel. Staff was very pleasant. I don't think we will come back.

Best to find somewhere else to stay. Place was very run down. I wish I could say at least it was clean, but it wasn't. Lots of conspicuous stains, what I think was a tampon wrapper in the sink drain? The strangest part though, was when we returned to our room after housekeeping had been there, we noticed that some of our food had been taken. A pack of mini eggs and a couple tea bags, which was very strange and definitely felt like a violation, even though it was only a snack. Luckily we were smart enough to take any valuables with us when we went out in the morning. The room also had only been half cleaned. Sheets were tucked in, but pillows left on the floor etc. Look elsewhere when planning your Bellingham stay.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The front desk person was not only rude, she yelled at screamed at me as if I was a dog! I have never been treated this poorly by someone in the service industry ever. The bystanders were all in shock! The non-smoking room smelled of tobacco. Light fixtures were broken. The AC is so loud that you won't get any sleep. The shower was clogged. The breakfast is an utter joke. The front desk lady closed the front desk and put up a tacky sign.....she was across the street smoking during the busy morning hours. I am not going to waste more energy on this. Just stay away from anything Wyndham. There are many airport hotels in the same area...Make sure you do not pick this one.
