*******Update: The hospital has ammended the rat bite details from the inpatient record. Luckily a senior hospital member had told me to capture still images of some important inpatient notes by doctors, as hospital might change it in future. The hospital staff amended the documents so it's scary if such institutions exists and operate.*******The hospital is a graveyard i will tell why, 1. The doctors have 0 empathy, when asked they say it's not under their specialisation. The president of the hospital is careless on this matter, he said now a days the doctors are not dedicated and if they are penalised the doctors leave. I am specifically talking about Dr Mansa ( a PG under her). 2. The private wards were mess and some walls had molds on them and when doctor told that even, some ceilings leaked and these were corrected after you raise your voice. When I spoke to the President of the hospital, he said I should have complained it to him. I was shocked , whether he wanted me to look after the administration of the hospital or take care of the patient. 3. My wife turned Paraplegic due to an accident, we admitted her to M S Rammaih for neuro rehabilitation. In the last week we got to see a rat in the ward, we complained this thing and the maintenance delayed the work of rodent control. My wife's toe was bitten badly by the rat. The president told that the hospital location is such that the rat was common, he mentioned of snakes too. So I am sure NABH should be closely looking into the matter. 4. M S Rammaih Memorial Hospital being a private hospital. Still the senior doctors, professors get students as case study. I am very sure that this is completely illegal. I am not sure if others but I will ensure this is reported and there is a penalty. The doctors should be told they can get into other professions to make money, why this one. I have added picture of room 711 rehab which had fungus The hospital staff including the customer relations is pathetic. They called me to check how's the patient and said such instances do happen in a large institute. Customer Relations had promised a detailed explanation on why there was such a poor handling of this issue. But no response as of today. **********The hospital staff has ammended some inpatient records after being moved to the MRD. I urge all who read this review, ask members who have went through similar experience to raise a concern flag on such hospital.******These kind of hospital along with doctors, should be penalised. I have also recieved a letter from president of the hospital with a word of caution to me.

My mother got her surgeries done from here, hysterectomy and umbilical hernia simultaneously and it was a really good experience overall. The house keeping staff are truly excellent as well as the nurses on the 5th floor, Nurse Nirmala was exceptional. Doctors Sujani, Urvashi from OBG and Dr. Vishal from General surgery are exceptional, truly made our experience as flawless as possible, Dr. Ayesha Khawas from PAC and Dr. Vidya (PG student from OBG) were quite bad however, Dr khawas practically cheated us, wasted 5-6hrs + money unnecessarily and Dr. Vidya was just plain rude, she made us uncomfortable and the experience with her was quite terrible. Apart from these 2 doctors and their horrible behaviour, the hospital really stands out as one of the best for a reason, very neat and clean and have good staff here.

Doctors are good at Ramaiah. However, carrying your personal vehicle here is hell. They charge for parking and give us scratches, dents etc in return on vehicle. There is absolute zero maintenance of parking area. 8-10 staff remain busy in collecting charge all the time no supervision of how others are damaging parked vehicles. I am posting this after back to back two worst possible experiences at same place with same staff. No action taken, no apology, no improvement after two complaints in single week. They are good for nothing.

I was very impressed with the quality of care I received. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. It's said that if we have money, every medical facility can be availed. However this hospital seems pocket friendly for all classes of people. According to few people in review it's becoming more of a government hospital, but many people are able to afford the services then it indicates the hospital's ability to cater wide range of customers. Over all the hospital's premises and services are good. The doctors are friendly as per my experience. For Exservice man, ECHS card holder, this is one of the favourite place.😇. 1. Earlier this hospital was very good for the treatment & doctors were so experienced. 2. But now I had a very bad experience in this hospital, the doctors will not follow the timings that they have committed to, we needs to be waiting..... waiting..... waiting.... 3. As we admitted my mother in this hospital, since we have to wait for whole day to meet the doctors to talk to them, the residents will come & visit but they are useless & no use of talking to them. 4. Despite applying for three days of leave to meet the consultant, they couldn't spare hardly 10 minutes to talk to us. 4. In the case of billing, doctors and management know how to drag the process out. Management are looting like anything. 5. I don't recommend this hospital for any kind of treatment.

Dermatology receptionist is waste. Over phone she doesn't respond properly. Doesn't give proper information. If front end office is like this, then what could be the case with doctors and staff? Over that expensive. Ramaiah seems to be fast becoming another Govt. hospital. I prefer other professional and customer friendly hospital.

Overall good experience. This is the second time we visited the hospital. The doctors and other staff were very kind and caring. The first time we used medical insurance and there were no challenges at all. Very smooth processing. Second time we paid with cash. No issues either. There were a few delays but nothing bad. We would definitely recommend the hospital to others.

One of the reputed hospital in Bangalore North, good service. Nice accommodation Toilets are nice and clean. Nurses do treat patient with care. Fees are on mid range. quite affordable. Only visitors with ID are allowed to see the patient. No proper place to stay for the visitors. Beds are 1+1 one for the patient and other for the family member.

Visited to OBG Dr. Jyothi G S. She is very calm and cool. Explains the situations in a very convincing way and make the patients to understand the root cause and helps to to take the appropriate decisions. I strongly recommend to visit and meet her for any OBG related problems.

Ground level has ENT, ophthalmology, X-Ray and biomedical test units. Ambience and cleanliness is very good and the people here are very professional. This floor also has seminar hall for imparting knowledge to young medical professionals. The student are from every part of India and some foreigners too. Overall, this is a good hospital with the only downside being it’s very costly.

Called the hospital number to check if vaccination is available.. the man who picked the call seems to be some illeterate who doesn't even know how to talk to a lady.. just for asking the vaccination timing was talking rudely n started using abusive language and saying not to ask too many questions.. why is he hired for the job if he's not able to patiently talk over the call.. we are not checking for free vaccination.. very bad experience because an uneducated person is picking the call. Very very bad hospital. ICU is very very bad. They don't treat patients for 5 6 days and they don't update us with anything about the patient. They only want to make money. ICU is only for name sake. There are 15 20 people in 1 icu and patients get covid in the icu ward. My grandfather passed away because they didnt treat him on time and as soon as he got admitted within 2 3 days he was infected with corona. He was admitted for heart blockage and initially when we were going to admit him in the icu ward he was suffering from heart attack and these sadists didnt do anything for they next 13 14 hours. Later they admitted him

Paid a visit to my friend admitted here , well maintained space for all facilities and good parking facilities at different spots, wards and entrance space is also superb, just disappointed by lift services for going to 8th floor had to wait a long time.

I stayed with my Aunt in the 4th floor after the surgery. It was a very good experience. The service and approach of the doctors Dr.Sandeep Reddy and Dr.Jillale Saran were amazing. We are really happy that doctors took time to explain each and every procedure in detail. All the staff were experienced(Nursing staff: Dheeksha and Kusuma Rani).The staffs attitude were pleasant and they always approched with smile. The service of the Hospi clean and hospi care staff(Anju, Shubhasree)were execptional. Went here for the 1st dose of Covid Vaccination. Excellent facilities. Professional, polite and helpful staff. Gave clear instructions. Everyone was wearing a mask... PROPERLY! Enough space to allow for safe distancing. Parking facility available (paid) Very good experience!

Worst hospital. This hospital only thinks about making money. If you have health insurance better be carefully with his hospital. They will keep you for minimum of 7 days for sure.

Be careful when you go to Emergency section to this hospital..A friends family lost a gold chain when they took the father to emergency. The family showed picture of him entering hospital with gold chain, but the hospital staff were not able to retrieve the chain from the emegency section. Many lapses with emergency section lower staff and procedures. Doctors are good, but administration is not organized or responsible. No accountability so be careful. Sad state of affairs in this hospital, which used to be managed well and once a reputed hospital.

If there was a negative rating would have given it. This hospital is nothing but MONEY MONEY MONEY!! They will admit the patient as soon as possible to the ICU and then for a minimum 5-6 days they will not tell the condition of the patient. Better have a 10 lakh insurance or minimum of 5 lakh rs cash if you are admitting anyone here. No guarantee of cure to the patient but 100% guarantee that account balance and peace of mind will be totally gone.

I was moved with there politeness and professional service they offered. As i have come to the Hospital for an Emergency, I parked my car in hurry and did not even check if the car was locker or not. But when i came back the car was unlocked and the valuables inside was not even moved. They were all there. I really wanted to the admin team to know about the wonderful gesture of the Parking Service provider.

I heard a very good feedback about dr Nandhini. From second month onwards I started showing to madam. She is very particular on meeting days that is tuesday but available anytime for emergency. During my wife delivery, I was requesting doctor to do c section( because of pain) , but doctor said we don't see any complication or reason to do that. So I felt really happy that even today's world good doctors are still there, who doesn't think about money, only cares about patient. Really happy. My wife and baby boy both are absolutely fine and going to discharge. The total experience and procedure is off very high standards.

We stayed on the 5th floor for a couple of days. The entire team including Doctors, administration, nursing and support staff is extremely efficient and courteous. Their commitment towards patients is second to none. Keep it up.

Right from the entrance, the staff was courteous. My wife needed a wheel chair. Supporting staff immediately recognized our requirement and came with the wheel chair and she was taken to the ENT OPD. While I went to for registration, one staff was exclusively available at the counters to oversee the needs of people like us and guided us to get the registration done fast Similarly, the Doctors and nursing staff were equally courteous, helpful and supportive.

I consulted Dr Chitra Selvan of Endo Dept. Her approach to diagnose and treat is excellent. Instead of heavy medication she recommended workout regime and dietary changes. Her approach worked wonders on my health. Arguably she is the best Endocrinologist in Bangalore.

The hospital has all facilities but there is extortion of money from patients. Each time a doctor visits a patient, they charges fees every time on the same day,which is not justified. The hospital does not have a free parking facility for sick attendant. The parking charges is very high seems to be extortion of money.

My friend got admitted for dental treatment. They treated good and timings are vary for patient based on their problem . Timings are 9 to 1 and 2 to 4 very less but students are polite and good communicators. My frnd took treatment for teeth damage they are taking so much time . One time done first appointment, and then second time they are taking very much time taking upto two weeks . It was heavy time I feel like that . Totally I am bored in the rest room for their slow work 😏😃 Thank you 😊

Horrible service They have good doctors.. But the management is terrible, not organized, they cancel appointments and not even inform you and do not follow the slot timings provided.. They take whole day for the checkup routines...the desk management is so poor, they collect file and heap up and do as their wish and call names for appointment whenever they want.. Patients sits like fools whole day for a checkup. My dad being a heart patient have a difficult time to get through a routine checkup each time. As it's so difficult for us to go to a different place now as we have the record of inpatient and followups done here... Everything from scratch to start with a new doctor is difficult. Again I'm not blaming the doctors.. The system here is screwed up. They loot you for everything the appointment and scans and tests are so expensive here; naming it as memorial Hospital. But service is not even 1% of what they charge us.

This is a good hospital with excellent Doctors but the worst radiology department. Going even for ultrasound is a pain. They will consume your entire day. You will be greatly inconvenienced as there is no prior appointment for USG. It is first come first serve basis. The billing staff and managers are lazy and rude. You may have to spend your day with full bladder and empty stomach waiting in que for USG. Meanwhile some people get backdoor entry. Came here only due to Dr. Avinash, Gastroenterology who is excellent. But the inconvenience at radiology is unbearable.

Very bad emergency room experience at midnight. Went for suspected food poisoning but the treating doctor seemed hesitant to commit to a diagnosis, and wanted to push us into tests. This is understandable but I wish he would spend a little more time explaining the thought process. It did not fill us with confidence. The main gripe was the nurse. They billed us for 3 drugs (rightfully) but the nurse only administered two. The nurse also did not sanitize her hands after handling another patient's medical waste. Also, when the painkiller did not work, she asked the patient, almost in exasperation, 'now what to do?'. The parking attendant also tried a weak fleece, attempting to bill for 2 slots instead of 1. When it was clear that I had read the sign, he backed off. The registration desk person was overworked and all though he was at it non-stop, people had to wait in the queue for a very long time. I would estimate at least 45 minutes including registration and paying the bill. All in all, sadly, it would have been an easier process for us to self administer medicine after a bit of research, which is what we wanted to avoid. I have had better experiences at Manipal (Columbia Asia) near Orion Mall and I would recommend that hospitals over this if time is not critical. Another good option nearby is Bangalore Baptist Hospital.

Worst hospital i have ever seen...people(staff) in registration office is soo rude as if there are ceo of the hospital..don't know how to talk to the patient..they are throwing tantrums as if we came for some job / or marriage proposal .. Elders are standing they don't even bother about them. So time taking that even emergency patients will go to another hospital and get its treatments done. Doctors are good but the hospital staff ufff ...even guards of the hopital are so good and helpful that they know how to treat patients or customers. Worst treatment.. my grandfather VD Nandagopal was aged 94years old and had mild stroke in his brain and where he was not able to move his left hand and left leg . And unfortunately after going their he was infected with covid positive . And now coming to the point he was treated at the worst of worst . And they Didn’t give any treatment no medicines were given for paralysis and no proper food was provided. He was admitted on Saturday ,as he was covid patient none of the family members were allowed inside ok it’s acceptable . And they didn’t even wipe his face literally when we discharged him he requested us give little water to drink, no one gave water . Imagine as a family members how would we feel . No proper food , care , water medicines were given to him. With huge pain and lot of tears am dropping this review . People voice out . Today we faced it tomorrow let no one face it .

My father aged 65 yrs is undergoing Dialysis at Ramaiah Hospital. The doctors are excellent and staff are very cordial. But off late the due to change of security arrangements my father is finding very difficult to board cabs from the main gate. After his dialysis is over he books a cab but the security at the gate doesn't cooperate to find the vehicle. There is no dedicated pick up point for the patients. From drivers to patients everybody is confused and the security guards are managing things in their own making things worse for the patients of their own hospitals. I m very disappointed for the past one month. The hospital sunior functionaries should look into this and create a dedicated pick up zone for such ailing patients. They care patient very well and there attenders also, by providing the information which the attenders will ask. I have been here for my wife's delivery. I consulted Dr Sujani. Obstetrics & Gynecology, Madam is a very experienced senior doctor. My experience with Doctors and staff was very good pre-delivery and post-delivery. They are very cordial and helpful. The hospital campus is also very beautiful, My son likes to visit this hospital. A variety of food options are available near the hospitals. A lot of parking places are available, but roof-covered parking places are not available, it is now under construction My company have an insurance tie-up (Central Govt) with this hospital. Initially, I used to visit one of the multispeciality hospitals near hebbal, they showed partiality for my insurance. Hence I left that hospital and choose this for my wife's delivery even though Ramaiah hospital is far from my place.

I recently got operated in this hospital for hernia. Initially I was bit scared of surgery but after meeting Dr. H.C.SriKantaiahji I got the courage to come out of my illness. After my surgery Doctor humbly came to see me and gave the confidence that I will be able to do all my chores within a short time. And here I am able to walk and do all my normal chores easily. I am grateful to each n every staff member of Hospital who showed so much care towards me and helped me to mend so fast. I will recommend this hospital those are suffering from any type of illness. I visited Ramaiah hospital on the 5th July 2023 ,, I had injury my right leg,,,,I met Orthopaedic doctor K,M, Ponnanna sir,, and done surgery...:) I like him the way he talk with patients, he's very kind and very positive person,also whole hospital management is exlent ....This is my 1st visit at this hospital this was a great experience... It was such a horrible experience....i got admitted due to severe tonsillitis in the four bed ward at 8th floor. The women next to me had discharged urine on her bed and they didn't even change her bed. They just changed the sheets next day.they also asked another lady to store her urine for quantification and they gave her an open container to do so.Eventually the container was toppled and her discharge was all in the room.From my experience it was really unhygienic and I felt I'd contact more diseases if I stayed.

Stayed here for mother’s treatment for 3 days, 3rd floor (319). One of the best hospitals Bangalore has produced. Staff members, nurse, doctors are all very polite and pro active in terms of basically everything. Cleanliness is a 10\10. Definitely recommend for a stable and un-cluttered service.

Stayed here for my son's treatment. 5th floor room no 525. Good care and treatment wise it's good. But seems doctors are suggesting unnecessary test if you under insurance. other wise cleaning. Floor hygiene everything was fine. Food quality not so great. I think team needs to improve. They should connect with patients and attender better.

Dr Suryanarayana is a very good doctor and has brought my diabetes under control for the past 3 years. Doctor was available on exact time, the video consultation is very same as a personal visit, thanks for extending this facility.

Doctors are really experienced and carry good expertise, however the supporting staff and canteen people must be trained to get better. Waiting and resting spaces for patient attenders has to be improved especially for those in ICU.

Just wanted to share my recent experience with the Hospital Staff specially from the Neurology department. A special thanks to all the staff working in that dept. especially Dr. Acharya, Dr. Mahendran for their support and timely update on the status of the patient on regular basis. Moreover, I wanted to thank one more person Mrs. Hemavathi for her kind support in getting all kind of updates on the Medicine, Undergone Tests, way she interacts is more proficient.

I've had an unpleasant experience at the new MS Ramiah Hospital. The security at the entrance of the hospital is unwelcoming and they have a bossy attitude towards patients and their relatives. When I say bossy attitude, they talk to you in a very bad tone. No respect at all. They won't leave me enter the hospital to see my mom who is admitted in the hospital. They forced my dad (mom's attender) to come down to show the attender id to allow us in the hospital. Imagine the patient is without an attender for 10 mins. Leaving the patient 10 mins without an attender is no joke. Overall, this experience has left me in anger and spoiled the association I had with the hospital all these years. Now I'm not sure if I will recommend this hospital to anyone because of this experience with the security staff.

Neuro Science Department in MS Ramaiah Memorial hospital is excellent. I have undergone 2 brain surgeries in this hospital. Dr. Rakshith Srinivasa is very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Priyankh and Dr. Akshay in neuroscience department has taken care of me so well during my surgery. Nurses are very polite. I was not given any pain when I was in the ward, during dressing sessions & suture removal. Even the ICU team is very good. We have a helping hand anytime even for the smallest noise made by patients in ICU. Overall very much satisfied.

I have been suffering from Chronic Coccyx Pain (Coccydynia) since one & a half year. I had consulted many Ortho Doctors at various clinics, but without any relief. Finally, after being referred by Dr Veena & Dr Shashwat, I have taken about 8 Physio sessions with Dr Ruth at The Dept of Physiotherapy, M.S.Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. I must say that she is a genious on this subject. I am having great relief from the pain which I thought would never go. I have never ever seen such a huge, neat, well-equipped & in-depth Physio dept anywhere in India. Its an extremely pleasant & hazzle free experience from the Physio Reception to Treatment to Billing. My mom got biopsy done on 20th November wherein we paid Rs 24,000 through insurance which includs consultation of 3000. But when we got our reports and happened to show the report to the concern Doctor, again they asked us to pay consultation of Rs 600 on 25 of Nov. This is insane. How much you can loot people ? And how many times an innocent would've been charged this way...This all culprit must stop these type of charges. Please have some humanity. I also came accross staff being roud to patients. From the lift staff, house keeping, front office, as well Doctors.

From my experience it is one of the best Hospitals in Banglore. As a patient you will be given full support and advice by the doctors as well as the nurses. Food will be planned and given according by the dietician. The hospital is clean and well maintained.

Im happy with Neurology section especially Dr. Rakshith sreenivas and Dr. Bharat Nayak . Dr. Rakshith sreenivas is expert in identifying the problem and how to treat it well. He is so kind and very friendly with patients. He explains everything with patience and gives you best suggestion. The way he treated my mother(Shanthamma )was good. What's the point of great facilities, when people are ignorant and lost in their phones, while people are waiting in queues from different areas, towns, cities. The place which needs empathy rather is filled mostly with inconsiderate people. Where bill payment is more important than people's health.

Very convenient centre for COVID vaccination. The staff are very competent and helpful and assist you in completing the necessary formalities. May be not many know of this facility and hence it is not crowded. This place is easy to locate as it is very popular, centrally located and we'll connected.

Sister's and Doctors are very caring. They treated me very well in critical condition. I'm happy. Basic facilities are good. Hospital has been maintained very neatly. For patients what they giving to wear is worst. It will not be in proper size and especially I faced too much of problems regarding dress and washroom facilities can be done systematically.

I was contacted the hospital on 09-Mar-2023 for my nephew’s brain hemorrhage case which is been rejected from Nimhans after 2 days of treatment. Couple of Multi speciality hospital were also rejected the case. We approached Dr. Sunil V Furtado, Neurosurgeon at Ramaiah Hospital. He said the case is very critical and we will try our best to save the boy. He explained us the surgery procedure and complexity of the patient very clearly, and he advised us to meet Ms. Hema, who is the administrator at Neuro department. She was very well guided us with clear budget estimation, which encouraged to admit the boy on 9-Mar-2023 for Surgery. We received overwhelming response from Ms. Hema during our visit to inquire the estimated budget and surgery. Dr. Sunil always been cool and confident and he was always positive about boy’s recovery. Despite we approached Dr. Sunil through my cousins reference, I was quite impressed with his professional and human friendly approach. Also his Neuro team of doctors and ICU team were very supportive and caring. Whenever we had billing confusions and conflicts, finance team clarified all our queries. On 24-Apr-2023, we discharged him, and shifted home for home nursing and treatments. He has to undergo more medications and physiotherapy treatments, In sha Allah. Pray for his complete recovery. I wouldn’t say it’s budget friendly hospital, but as a health care provider they are quite good in terms of service and facilities. Doctors are amazing. Quite disciplined hospital. I also want to include this, we were not quite happy with the service in the ward section. Nurses in ward section are not that good in service. My daughter got admitted for rashes and some infection. The nurses in the 4th floor were very polite and helped a lot and attentive all time. But the washroom and cleanliness can be maintained a bit more. I was in 2 bed sharing,but the other sharing people were bit annoying.They were many people staying till night.Since as I have admitted girl child,there was some inconvenience with such kind of things. Hospital can take care of this things and tell other patients family so that everything will be better experience .

I was operated for Hernia by Dr. Sreekantaiah, General surgeon. He is an excellent surgeon, extremely jovial and super efficient. Felt very comfortable while getting treated by him.I sincerely thank him. Even the support staff, duty doctors and nurses were in constant touch with me throughout my stay and made me feel comfortable at the hospital.

My mother is a heart patient, and she regularly goes for checkup at Ramaiah. We consult the cardiology team working under Dr. V. S. Prakash, which is quite efficient. I stayed at the hospital when my mother was admitted due to infection, fever, and high heart rate. The doctors were meticulous and very professional. The hospital has all the modern amenities and comforts. The nurses and housekeeping staff performed their job in a timely manner. They were very responsive and helpful. Good and healthy food was provided at regular intervals, including meals, fruits, soups, and juices. My mother was taken care of very well. I would recommend this hospital to everyone.

My mother met with an accident and brought to MS Ramaiah hospital as we have been visiting this hospital for a long time now. She had a broken arm and needed a surgery to fix it. Our experience have always been pleasant and the services were provided with utmost care. There are few minor aspects which would need improvements like availability of wards and quicker response. She was admitted in provider ward 313 and the surgery was done after 2 days and is being taken care very well. Hospital is very hygienic and staffs are very helpful. Nurses are very well trained and are very friendly.

Stayed here during my daughter's Typhoid treatment( Room 511,5A wing) She was under medical care of Dr.Shaikh Mohammed Aslam S sir and Dr.Ashwin Kulkarni sir (General Medicine Department).
