Loved the atmosphere and cheers for the friendly service. At the bar and table service were amazing. The beer mix was interesting. Tried the Guinness and Kilkenny. Then tried stowford. The mix chip basket was ok but deep fried so can’t have solo. Good vibes

Absolutely terrible experience here. Was completely dismissed by the bar man when enquiring about a match to be shown on the 10+ TVs that were there, a quick no and he went to serve the next customer. Left to go elsewhere without finishing our drinks.

Awesome place for a good dinner or breakfast. The service is quick and very friendly, always up for a chat about whatever. We got an Irish breakfast there which we thoroughly enjoyed, it was quite large meaning we didn't really have to do a lunch. Which meant it was fully worth the price it is.

Fun spot tucked under the train rails. Loved the design and the food was fantastic Irish fare. It gets pretty crowded so the earlier you can make it the better.

When you are in Germany, especially far from Dusseldorf and it's Altbier, when you are feeling thirsty, you need to stop, take a deep breath and drain a pint of Guinness in one sip). That is what you need to continue sightseeing in calm and joy)) I'm glad this island of classic British and Irish beer is right in the central part of the city (West Berlin). If you like Berliners and other lagers, a pint of Guinness is always welcome) In other terms, a nice and cozy bar.

Old school Irish pub style, i Like it. But for God's sake, put some beer on tap as any decent pub. Where are the good beers? Any pub should have at least 10 on tap and not only 3. Fullers' London Pride, Newcastle Brown Ale, some Strong Belgian Ale % a Bitter should be at least there.

Me and a friend went here the weekend after St Patricks! The atmosphere is so nice, the bartenders are really cool and know their work. We met a lot of people that night, it was freaking wild!! I never thought you could experience so much in one night. Favourite Irish Pub in Berlin by far!!

Unfortunately my lunch made me ill due to bad salad. It was quite loud for a lunchtime too. 3 stars however as the staff were very understanding and didn't make me pay.

It doesn't matter where in the world you are. If you're feeling a little lonely, anxious, insecure whilst abroad, visit an Irish pub and the pub will nurse any issues you thought you had. Always the friendliest, inviting venues for all.

On Sunday Gaelic football, Kerry defeated Dublin, but too many people and not enough staff (2). I Left after 15 minutes without a drink Tuesday staff were below average, lack of interaction and lacking in personality that bar staff need, but I needed a cider. Wednesday. A good friendly barman and waitress. Food is very average though. Location is good, wouldn't go out of my way to return

I have been coming to this pub for a while and have noticed a massive uplift in their food. It has become quite good and would recommend the Irish (lamb) stew. They have quite a lot of seating and is a sports bar. You should be able to view the tv from almost any seat.

Very much an Irish pub. I had the vegan burger, which was the best one I've ever had. Service was super. The seats were a little uncomfortable and the bathrooms were definitely bar bathrooms.

Loved this Irish pub! Great bartenders, friendly patrons, good drinks and good beer, and delicious chips! Live band playing the night we went. Would visit again for sure.

What a lovely pub, great service from the Irish bar tender. The bar itself is really cool, high stools and a fabulous copper ceiling feature and pipes which is functional to the set up. Visited the ladies, sadly that left a lot to be desired. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience.

It is a perfect place to visit for the Irish pub experience. Service was fast, and beer choices were plentiful. Food is simple but tasty. It's located in a central area under Hackescher Markt Bahnhof and close to the river.

Nice place to eat and drink, a little busy in the weekend but a nice Irish place to go! Burgers really tasty and waiters really friendly and polite! Guinness and Kilkenny Ale beer the best choice!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr stark. Die das Fleisch ging sehr leicht von den Knochen und war fantastisch. Den Tag zuvor waren wir am Abend zu Gast, als eine Live Band auftrat und die Stimmung war Klasse. Gute Pubs freuen mich immer wieder.

Too expensive. The food was tasteless (cottage pie), the beer very modest, the brandy just regular, the coffee was terrible (watery). The service was not attentive at all. 30€ for this @#$% does not seem to be correct. Never again.

Absolutely amazing place and such a mix of people. The first visit there i bumped into a Scots and Irish and a Welsh man ( sounds like the beginning of a joke) being Welsh myself we all hit it off well and even got talking to a couple of ladies from America. Beer there was absolutely awesome and the food looked amazing but I will say honest that I didnt have any.

Had the pleasure of eating and drinking in this vibrant pub while on a shirt trip to Berlin. The Irish breakfast was value for money and helped u recover from the night before. Good pint of Guinness. Thank you to the member of staff who even though they were going to shut up allowed us to get a drink as we has arrived late. Thank you. Good atmosphere every night.

We ate here twice during our short stay in Berlin. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Bar food was really tasty. I personally loved the chilli chips dish. Well worth a visit!

Why offer cocktails if you can’t make them properly?! Worst drinks we had in Berlin. Cocktails undrinkable. Gin & Tonic flat as a pancake. Waitress gave great service hence two stars. €38 for 4 poor quality drinks. Awful tourist trap. Avoid.

A true Irish Pub. With the best (my opinion) beer served "Kilkenny" in the hearth of Berlin. The pub was full on December 22nd. The live music was on and singer was talented. The ambiance was cozy. The bartnders were so nice. The price for a Guiness or Kilkenny is more than fair when you come to compare it with Paris. People were so nice we ended up talking about Ireland with the Irishmen by the door. and I will definitely come back here on my next trip.

Excellent food, fresh and tasty without breaking the bank. Waiters could be a bit more friendly, but nothing too troublesome. Can recommend!

Authentic Irish place, with a lot of (surprise) Irish people, and a lively / lovely atmosphere. I didn’t try the food but absolutely lived the ambiance and cheerfulness of the place. Very much recommended if you’re missing or want to experience the Éire.

Surprisingly the best food we had in Berlin! The nachos are honestly the best I’ve ever had and we all went back an extra time to get them again! Great place for some cracking grub and to catch the football whilst your on holiday!

I love the old style decorations with so many diverse people in a clean environment. Beers and side-dishes taste really good and bartenders are always smiling and ready to hit you with some creative and traditional drinks. Nice place to meet friends, old or new!

I went to watch the rugby world cup final. The set up is actually great, there are a few rooms with bunch of screens to watch sports. Sound system seemed great too. BUT… it did not work during the match, which is weird, because during the half-time music was loud again, it actually did work. They just didn’t care. I wanted to order some food and not a single member of the stuff was kind enough to tell me how 😅 they just said I needed a table, which I had, so they were just sending around a very busy pub to ask the next waiter/waitress. Finally, a very nice Irish lady took our order and actually treated us well. Everybody else sucked. I am never watching sports here again.

One of the favorite places in Berlin. Very polite staff. All know English, German and maybe couple other languages ) Breakfast pan is awesome even as a dinner! Midnight and Black&Tan beer cocktails are one of the best you can get. Irish flag shot with them is the best combination. Also very good live music. Even that usually don't like it - here it's even enjoyable.

One of my go to places in Berlin. The tap Guinness is something I could vouch for. The servers are very courteous and genuine. Just a question, when are you guys planning to reopen. Missing the vibes.

If you're looking for... A relaxed pint. Though, that doesn't apply for match days. There are plenty of screens to watch football / rugby, but be there well in advance as it fills up super fast.

I liked the interior design, service was nice as well. But ubfortunately whiskey sour we ordered was the worst one we ever had. We asked for optionality to change for something else or return but there was no such option. Hence the overall experience relatively poor

Came here for a pint of Guinness and to watch the football. Staff very friendly and Guinness very good. Read a previous review where someone complained they couldn't get Budweiser or Coors! Don't understand why you'd want that when there is an excellent selection of Irish beers (Guinness, Kilkenny) and also German! Overall a decent pub, only slight complaint would be pricing but given the location and the cost of living rising across Europe this is more wishful thinking than a legitimate complaint. sláinte!

  • 3/5 Marc J. 2 years ago on Google
Food, beer and the venue were alright. A bit overpriced of course, but that's what you'd expect when going to an Irish pub. Beer selection on the other hand was surprisingly small. Guinness, Kilkenny and a local pils. How about some choice? Ales? Cherry on top is, that you have to pay for the toilet. Yes! In a pub... As a customer... Paying for drinks. You pay again for leaving them their. That's just wrong!

Very standard Irish pub. Small menu with salads, snacks and burgers, staff advises gladly about the beers. Special offer on Curry Wurst, which is actually quite good.

Soooo, pint was ok, second better and third one was the best one 😎😎😎 was long time when I was pubbing in Ireland, and this refreshed my life for a moment or three! Staff on bar is on spot, others cant comment. Cleaner than Irish pub, location is perfect and you can really have fun with others or privacy around bar or outside terrace. Recomend it and will come back.

Two waitresses bit dizzy tonight, not one of them asked if I would like a drink while I sat at an empty table as they passed me multiple times, I just ordered from the bar ! A guy from outside wanted his bill and had to go to bartender to pay ! It wasn't busy! Usually it's better than tonight!! Hope it doesn't stay like this.

  • 3/5 Ana Paula M. 2 years ago on Google
Service is good, well located. Bier is overpriced, there are not many options to eat and the atmosphere is not my style. I prefer more cozy environments and this is one feels more colder to me. But if you like an traditional Irish pub to drink a Guinness, this would be fine

Adorable place! Amazingly delicious food for a reasonable price! And with this level of tastiness, when you just can’t stop eating, the size does matter! And the size is actually really big! 😉 Everything cooked just perfectly! The tastiest fish and chips! Wonderful roast-beef! Very good Guinness and Kilkenny beer! And very friendly staff! Btw, Karina is simply the best! And the live music is really good as well! Strongly recommended place!
