This is the place-to-go while visiting Berlin. During one-week visit we've been there 3 times. People working there are very polite, funny, they create the atmosphere of this place. Food is delicious. You can try the real german cuisine here (especially if you want to run away from kebaps and currywursts for a moment). 10/10 recommend to visit this place. You won't regret.

It is a tremendous tiny place offering a traditional culinary experience near of Unter den Linden. We didn't have time, so we had a few nice beers, but the food looked delicious. The warm and inviting atmosphere was really lovely. A lively bar counter where some are eating, some are chatting, someone is pouring beer, and someone is washing glasses. Locals and tourists, there seemed to be something for everyone here.

A most excellent distraction that ended up ticking so many boxes. We popped in for a quick beer after a few hours pounding the streets and stayed for lunch and a few more beers besides. A lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great food. Great beer. Great staff. They even bared with me whilst I mangled their native tongue. But we got served what we selected so I can't have been that unintelligible. And now I have posted this I will have a handy reference for its name and location should I ever forget… heaven forfend!

What a lovely place! We ate there this evening and the food was gorgeous. They were able to give me a gluten free version of the schnitzel and were very accommodating to my son's requests. The people who work here are very lovely, kind and funny, the atmosphere is great and the prices are reasonable. We rang for a reservation and they were able to fit us in, but they were turning away walk-ups.

The ladies who tended bar were wonderful. It feels like a “hidden gem” even though it’s just off one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city.
