Fantastic hotel, perfectly located for tourists in Berlin! The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable! The view from the top floor was fantastic! The included breakfast was perfect for the price! The hotel bar was a little more expensive than other restaurants and bars in the area, but given its convenience, its totally acceptable. The bar man, Luca, was extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about things to see and do during my visit to Berlin. Overall all the staff were friendly, efficient and ready to assist where they could. Downsides: room didn't feature any Tea/Coffee making facilities and finding the toilets in the lobby is rather difficult. Overall, brilliant value for money, book this hotel and you won't be disappointed! Hope to see you again soon!!

I really want to highly recommend this hotel, it has an excellent location, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, the breakfast is quite complete and the attention of the reception and the guy in the restaurant is excellent. Walking you practically arrive at the metro station, train station, the island of museums. Definitely an ideal place in the heart of Berlin :)

I have stayed at this hotel several times already and I am no longer looking for alternatives in Berlin: for me this is the perfect place. The U-Bahn station is less than a minute walk away, most of the sights are within walking distance from the hotel. The place is quiet and there are rooms with a view to the TV tower and the church nearby. The rooms as well as the hotel as a whole are clean and well maintained, and the breakfast caters for all tastes. The main advantage of the hotel that I noted during my last visit is the staff - from the reception, to the kitchen and room service - they will try to do everything to make you feel good and comfortable through your stay. For those traveling on a budget and want to save a bit, consider the IHG program for some benefits.

Staff were friendly, service was good, location is perfect for my business needs, rooms are great value for money. For me to give 5-stars, I would appreciate if Holiday Inn like many other hotels catered better for the needs of vegans and people choosing a more plant-based diets by offering more ethical and sustainable options for breakfast, one of the yoghurts could be a soya one, plant milk should be available alongside cow's milk and the porridge could be vegan, for example. Also something for management to consider as part of their sustainability strategy. Great stay, otherwise!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Zimmerservice war gut. Sehr gute Lage, Nähe Alexanderplatz und Museumsinsel. Leider war das Frühstück nicht so gut, sehr wenig Auswahl und nicht genügend Platz zum Frühstücken. Wenn Sie mit dem Auto anreisen, müssen Sie einen Parkplatz in der Nähe finden, da das Hotel weniger als10 Parkplätze verfügt.

Room Clean, comfortable, Good shower. Bathroom not good for us girls. No plug socket for hair products. The socket was above the skirting board outside the bathroom. The mirror was good but not for styling your hair. No shelf for your hairdryer or brush etc. The bathroom hairdryer is no good. Reception gave me a hairdryer. Thank you. Please think of us girls. We need an area to place our Cosmetics etc. Also only a small open place to hang clothes. Most of our clothes stayed in the case on the floor. We stayed.5 nights. I have to say which was very nice. If you are inly staying 1 night no problem but a little longer . I still recommend staying as the Staff are good, breakfast was good, location good. Thank you for a nice stay.

The hotel is in great shape. Feels new. Rooms are clean! Quiet even at street level. Blackout curtains were awesome! Service with a smile and attentive to details. No gym but no matter close to awesome running path.. I would come here again in a heart beat

Das ist ein Ordentliches und für die Lage Preiswertes Hotel. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Die nächste Ubahn Station ist keine 2 min Laufweg entfernt. Die Zimmer sind modern und haben alles was man benötigt. Es gibt gratis WLAN. Das Frühstück ist ist ausreichend. Nur Parkmöglichkeiten sind hier begrenzt. Allerdings kann man auch in den öffentlichen Parkhäusern parken. Im großen und ganzen kann ich das Hotel empfehlen und würde wieder kommen.

Zentral, Zimmer sind sauber, aber es gibt keinen Kühlschrank. Es werden keine Hausschuhe zur Verfügung gestellt. In den Toiletten gibt es einen Geruch. Auch das Trocknen der Haare ist eine Qual, die Maschine schaltet sich ab, wenn sie heiß wird. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet! Es ist absolut sättigend, sauber und spricht jeden Magen an.

Was very pleased with this hotel! Room was modern, spacious, clean, everything worked, large tv with good connectivity, nice shower area. Sound proofing is incredibly good. Location is great, close to sights and city center but a bit far from stations. View from my room was excellent. A few areas of improvement: breakfast was boring and not varied enough, outdoor breakfast seating is nice but unfortunately ruined by smokers, which I wish was not allowed. I also wish there was better hygiene around the breakfast buffet. Pillows were too big so had to sleep without one. I would rather have a fridge than a safe in the room. There is sometimes a smell of sewers/moist when you enter the hotel.

First thing is the friendly staff that you meet at the reception desk. Rooms are very comfy! Breakfast is good but can always take few improvements. Best thing is the location! Walking distance from many sightseeings and train/metro stations are very close.

Great value for money hotel. The location is very convenient and the staff very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable, I found the USB charging ports very useful. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but since it was included in a very competitive rate it is also nothing to complain about. Free coffee / tea at the lounge was a welcome surprise. Will most definitely stay again!!! PS: The management should provide the staff at the front desk comfortable seats / chairs.

What a nice place to stay. Both the hospitality, breakfast as the cleanness of the rooms. Also the location, 10 minutes from Alexanderplatz square and right in front of the underground. Would definitely recommend. Price/quality rate 10/10.

A couple who expected a no frills stay, we were so pleasantly surprised! Comfortable beds, great shower pressure, a solid continental breakfast and a wonderful little hotel bar with a late night food menu. For points members that can use points on past purchases, we were able to cover several bar tabs with the points we earned on our trip. :) While Alexanderplatz is chaotic and not the loveliest of places to stay - the location can't be beat for transportation to anywhere in Berlin.

In general its a nice hotel. Great location and a decent breakfast. Hotel room was specious, only comment would be the dirty stains on the carpet and chair.

Great hotel just 5minutes from the centre by train (U bahn station just a minute of walk). Comfortable beds, clean rooms, spacious bathroom. Good breakfast (but hoping for more selection)! ps, special shout out to Maria at front desk. She was all smiles to all the guests, had a very friendly demeanor and really accommodating!!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly, the Rooms and Hotel were extremely clean, and it was modern and fresh. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is great and you are close to multiple stations with all transport options. The provided breakfast was excellent with a huge variety for anyone. The location is fantastic, Alexanderplatz is vibrant and friendly and if you want something else, it’s not far away in the underground or S Bahn.

Just back from a long weekend in Berlin. Had a great time, hotel was well priced, perfect location and all the staff were really pleasant and helpful. Conviently positioned for train station to and from airport €4 each way. Boat trip from near the train station both only 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was busy but all delicious.

A week long stay for business in a comfortable room with fast reliable WiFi. The hotel is not in Alexanderplatz, but a 5-6 min walk away. Not a bad thing after a big meal out! There is a subway station across the road and it is easy to commute around the city from here. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

All good: good location, good food, great staff. I would visit again and rate 4 stars if there wasn't a problem with ventilation in the bathroom, which it didn't exist, and often, it was a bad smell (from the pipes, I guess).. Also, I prefer a much cleaner bathroom.

Fantastic staff, special mention to Felix, what a lovely person! We managed ti get our room when we arrive, 2 hour before of our check-in (super luck). Breakfast is not the best, just a few options. Room a bit small, but OK. Area is good, well located a doostep to a Subway station. In general, we are enjoying our stay.

Hotel is fine, staff are very helpful. Our bathroom door wasn't quite right and the pillows were very uncomfortable. Breakfast also fine but a bigger spread would be nice. Location is great, 5 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and 1 minute walk to the the U2

We had a 4 night stay at this great hotel. Location is everything on a city trip and I felt this location was great for us. We where close to 2 U-bahn stations which where handy and had good connections to the rest of the city. The rooms where spotless and well kept. Not huge but perfect for us where sleeping ans washing where the important points and this was more than fine. A nice modern and big shower ans sink where much appreciated. Breakfast which came with the booking was excellent. Very fresh with a wide variety of items. I never seen any of the meats cheeses or breads empty. The staff made sure everything was kept stoked. It was busy after 8:30 but that was never a problem, before 8am there was plenty of space. Price quality.....it was a bargain and highly recommended, if I ever visit this amazing city again I know where I be staying, this very place. Thanks gor a great stay.

This is great place to stay in Berlin. Everyone at the hotel were super friendly and always warm service. We stayed with our small kid and they were always welcoming if we needed anything. You will find someone 24/7 at the reception. Good breakfast too. Recommended.

The room was small,but very nice and clean. It has everything you need. The location perfect. You can walk to all the sights that's important to see. Breakfast also was very good,plenty to choose from!!! I do recommend.

I really liked the location. It was great. If you want to be in the middle of everything here is the place. Walking distance to mostly everything. Uber rides were not expensive because we were close to everything. The room I didn't love because it was a handicap accessible room. Beware if you see accessible room that means handicap. It was difficult being in a room where everything was so low. I asked for a different room and the front desk person was awful. Totally not helpful. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was awesome. If not for the room and the front desk person. I would have given this hotel 5 star's.

I went there for a couple of nights in Berlin, the hotel is in a prime location, walking distance from Alexanderplatz, Dom, and the river. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. There is also a safe box in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a bar in the lobby where they serve finger food and drinks. Breakfast has a good selection of food.

Good hotel with terrific breakfast. We stayed 3 nights there in August. Very close to subway making it easy access to all the sites. One stop from Alexanderplaz where you can find any food choice.

Excellent choice for a place to stay. I stayed close to the Brandenburg gate for the first few days, then went to the Holiday inn for weekdays. I should have stayed at the Holiday inn the full time. Right around the corner from alexanderplatz, and all of the amenities are within 15 minutes walk. The only thing I could have used would be a small gym, but other than that everything was great. Especially the air conditioner which is Hit or Miss in Europe.

Low rating due to cleanliness in the room. It was quite small and wasn’t hygienic at all(mold in showers, ripped sheets + towels, dusty glasses plus LEFTOVER UNDERWEAR from previous tenant). We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, a lot of restaurants and museums are within a walking distance. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast wasn’t bad but also wasn’t anything amazing ad the space was overcrowded each morning.

Neat and clean hotel with spacious rooms and really good breakfast. Took one star off because both rooms that we’d booked had extremely strong sewer smell coming from bathroom drains. Front desk explained it is from river which I find hard to believe but I’m not local expert. Luckily, my super smart wife always travels with a small pack of dryer sheets to ensure clothes doesn’t have typical travel bag smell. She put dryer sheet on those drains and in 5 minutes, bathroom was perfectly fine. I provided feedback to front desk and hopefully they’ll address the root cause. Regardless, it’s always good to travel with few dryer sheets in your bags.

Location - Excellent. Staff - Excellent. Room - Generally Good The two lost stars where for, room AC was not working. When mentioned to hotel staff (X2) only suggestion was to open the window fully which meant more outside noise, therefore my sleep was effected. Also the hotel bar was closed, therefore the hotel did not keep any ice available for guests. Most HIE's I have stayed at have a standalone Ice machine available.

Exceptional service from the reception desk to the breakfast staff; everyone was very friendly, professional and hard working. I traveled with my two daughters ( 3 carry on suitcases and 3 book bags). The room was large but did not provide any storage and only one area to place a suitcase. The pull-out sofa was uncomfortable to say the least and I was barely able to sleep after our long days of sightseeing. The bed was lopsided and painful to sleep in. The only chair in the room was stained.

Always good and a safe choice. Rooms and bathroom with a good side, very clean and good breakfast. The reception is 24hrs and they are very polite. One of the girls speaks several languages including Portuguese which made the communication easier and friendly

The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful but when we got to our room the bed had dirt, hair, stains and fluff all over it. Asked the front desk to change the bedding and the housekeeping staff was rude as hell, confrontational and mumbling slander the whole time they had to change the bedding again (they even weren’t happy with the replacement sheet they put on themselves). All this happened within the first 30 minutes of us arriving, safe to say it will definitely be the first and last time we stay here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Berlin
