I came here for business. The proximity to the subway is good. There is also an underground car park. There are good restaurants and shopping opportunities around the corner. In a calm neighborhood. However, the WiFi is very poor and the telephone reception is also poor in the rooms. The mattresses are good. But there was mold in the bathroom. Room had air conditioning but no balcony. The breakfast was okay, unfortunately there was no delicious coffee, and oat milk was only available upon request. The check-in was unfriendly and I didn't get all the answers I needed, which I could read later.

They are not professional. Our check-in got cancelled because we arrived at 18.20 and they said it was possible to check in until 18, but where is this written? I’ll tell you: Nowhere. We just got scammed because we found a “hot deal” on booking (oh yes, they actually mentioned this) but apparently they preferred to give this room to someone who was willing to pay more. Long story short, we had to find something else quite quickly from our mobiles in the car. Never in my life I had experienced anything like this. Simply unprofessional, especially from a top rated 5 star hotel.

It’s not the hotel it was before in Ramada time. For every small thing you have to pay extra. Like the gym. It was inclusive the price now you have to pay 15 euros for being fit during your holidays this is crazy!

Frankly, I was shocked by the level of service in Berlin, especially since it is the capital, and I was no longer surprised that no one was doing internal tourism after I saw the lack of service in many places. As for the Hyperion Hotel, it is another story. The cleanliness of the place and all the staff are friendly and love to help and the rooms are very nice and tidy, especially Daniel for his kind reception and assistance to us. I highly recommend it to families ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's a very good hotel in a quiet location but walking distance to the main street. It's worth to get the business rooms and have access to the lounge. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience. We stayed for one week. The staff is very friendly and helpful; the room was clean and comfortable. Make sure you add the breakfast to your reservation--worth it!! There is nothing I could suggest to improve our stay. Five stars is easy to give.

Great hotel, very good breakfast. Good wifi. Pets are allowed in hotels. The room has a good air conditioner and a hairdryer and a good shampoo. The location is good. The staff at the reception were very helpful. Will come back.

Located very close to a U9 station and walking distance (20 mins) to Kudam. The staff is very friendly in general and the breakfast was great: plenty of variety to choose from! The rooms are clean, but they could pay a little more attention to some maintance and cleaning details (stains in the carpet and bedsheets, fingerprints in the bathroom). Overall a great place to stay in Berlin, I'll come back.

Not up to standard for the price, but the room itself was clean, large and newly renovated. The hotel is not responsive to emails. When they finally did reply, they informed me about parking, which I definitely did not enquire about because we arrived by train. The room is nice, which I suppose is the main thing, but the entrance is dated and the check-in was slow and unfriendly with no explanation at all about the hotel. The card machine also did not work at reception. The gym is a paid extra which is a bit strange for hotel in this price category.

I and my boyfriend had a nice stay at Hyperion. It's just 7 minutes away by car from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, so the location is great. The rooms are quite spacious. The breakfast is good. It's the standard breakfast buffet menu, but it's delicious. The bar inside the hotel is wonderful. Very friendly service, lot of variety in the drinks menu, and great ambience to sit and relax with a drink.

I loved the service at this hotel, as I did the quality of the amenities. It does have a nice breakfast area and it is worth purchasing that option (although, there are quite a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity.) Hyperion also has a gym (full disclosure, I did not go there.) The front desk and concierge staff are super helpful, personable, tactful, will answer your questions and go an extra mile in helping you (they did with me.) The in-room amenities are perfectly German: all you need and nothing you don't. I will definitely stay there again when I come to Berlin. It's close to the gay neighborhood, plus, it's surrounded by a nice residential area, quiet, upscale, safe to walk around even late at night. Metro is 5 minutes away, 2 connections to the new Berlin Airport (around 35 minutes by metro/train).

Be aware! Even we had only two days in Berlin, approximately 90kg luggage, and decent reservation from booking.com; they refuse not only us not 2 at least 6 customer at the front desk because over book. Easily!!! Just be cautious, pay upfront and don't give any reason to them. I see nice workers but bad management there.

Thanks to Hyperion hotel for a memorable experience. I had booked rooms for my guests who attended my wedding at Hyperion at Prager Strasse Berlin. We also stayed at the hotel. Excellent service, energy efficient and clean rooms. The breakfast at the hotel was great. Already looking forward to visit the hotel again.

Awesome hotel for a stay in Berlin. It has everything like shopping and public transport close by. We could not hear other guests and everything was clean, beautiful and up to date. Beds were super comfy. The breakfast is amazing and you should always book it with your stay. I especially liked the selection of Herring and vegan food. Hotel came with great free internet. We tested the restaurant twice. It could have been a bit less salty but other than that food and service were exceptional. We especially liked their curry cream. I especially liked the location. You have the subway right around the corner. I also enjoyed just walking or running in the area. You get very quickly to Tiergarten and Zoologischer Garten. I went on regular runs through Tiergarten and the town center. Loved it.

We wanted to stay for a few drinks at the bar and the bartender didn't let us because apparently it was "set up " for breakfast. It feels quite unwelcoming and you wouldn't think you would have to stay at the bar at you own hotel while there are several tables available. It is really dissapointing considering this is a 5 star hotel. Please train your staff better, the receptionist was also unwelcoming. Would NOT RECOMMEND. !

Had a pleasant stay. Was there for a 2 day conference which took place on the 7th which is their conference facilities. The main room was a bit stuffy, was told ghat the air conditioning wasn't working so the room got a bit hot as the day wore on. The hotel room was clean and very comfortable, the reception didn't explain how to use the lighting etc. Its not like many hotels where the guest puts the door card into a slot and the electrics heating etc works. There is a light under the night stand which appeared to come on automatically and came on during the night when I moved then went off. Had no issues with the internet, was fast and efficient. The food in the restaurant and service was 10 out 10. Had an issue in the bar area. The bar employee went and deposited a tumbler of nuts on all the tables apart from the one I was sitting out. It wasn't a mistake. My colleague asked a female member of staff about the nuts and if they were complimentary. She said they were and was surprised that her colleague had not put any on my table. She rectified this immediately! A pleasant member of staff with good customer service skills, shame her colleagues lacked customer service skills. I would recommend staying here

Very nice and clean hotel, close to grocery stores and a number of restaurants. A parking garage available against a fee. Some say the garage is cramped and it sure is narrow a few places when driving in. A number of spots have walls on both sides which in my opinion is superb so you don’t have to worry about neighbors banging doors to your car. We had a family room which actually is two separate rooms containing a common space hallway out to the corridor. A neat solution. Both rooms had own balconies which was very nice. The hotel is located at the end of a street so traffic noise is no problem. Will for sure stay here again

We decided to stay in this hotel because of the description, the reviews, and mainly because we thought that it was for business-oriented guests. We could not be more wrong. First of all, their Internet was one of the worst ones that we have ever experienced at a Hotel in Berlin. Really slow and intermittent. A real nightmare while working. The Lounge is not worth it. If you are looking for better Internet, working or relaxing: not possible! There are always kids running everywhere and the food is not enough for the number of people visiting. So you are only lucky with the beverages. The tables are never clean. Most of their lifts were not working, so it was almost impossible to use the few ones available during certain moments of the day. One of two available, always crowded, and not even with A/C inside. Good luck carrying your suitcase through the staircase! The worst part was the utterly rude and patronising staff at the Reception. "We live in a free world", "There was a concert last night", "Just close the windows" (Flash news! They were not even open and there is A/C), and "You need to be more understanding" were some of the sentences that I heard from one of their staff members at the reception (male, medium height, dark hair) when I mentioned that I needed to check if it was possible to change rooms since the people besides decided to have a party starting at 1.30 am and were constantly smoking (in a Hotel were there are signs everywhere of please do not smoke). Obviously, we did not want to experience that 2 nights in a row because we needed to rest and we were there for business purposes. He did not even let me finish my sentences, tons of excuses were mentioned and at the end -after not even checking properly on the screen for 3 seconds-, he said: "Sorry we are fully booked". Training in hospitality would be amazing for this person, and a bit of customer-oriented service as a plus. We booked a room in a Hotel, not at the Mercedes Arena. Terrible experience! Working was impossible! Never again!

The eggs at the breakfast was watery. They had more water/milk in it than eggs. The staff should’ve spoken more English. The staff was weird sometimes and came in the room without any warning, they just came in, I still don’t know the reason behind this 🧐🤨. Other than that, nice stay 4/5. I only notes the bad sides as you just saw however overall it was a nice stay and everything else was good, hence the my rating.

Clean hotel, good staff, small lobby and view of rooms are average! Our rooms were on the first floor in front of a gym! Maybe some people don't like to be seen all the time from there :))

Rooms are large, modern, clean and super comfortable. Overall, the hotel is great and the zone is easily accessible by public transport and close to interesting attractions in Berlin such as the Zoologischer Garten. Highly recommended!

Very quiet location with no road noise. We were in room 536 which had a very small balcony. Very comfortable room, nice en suite, looked new. Very friendly reception staff. He was very happy to give us a map and point out the sights. Breakfast was OK, good omelettes prepared for you, I think breakfast was 17 euros which is OK if you have a big breakfast. I would stay again if we were in Berlin. Handy for the underground too. We'd probably choose to have breakfast at another cafe outside.

Excellent hotel and I was pleasently surprised how quiet it was here at my stay. The hotel is located at a dead end street close to Prager Platz. This might be why. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar is nice and does not break the bank. A very good and affordable breakfast buffet with a great choice for everybody. There is a small shopping center in walking distance. The KaDeWe is a 15 minute walk away. There is a local Gym with pool area and sauna that you can use for a small fee as a hotel guest. A pleasant time.

Good and clean Rooms. But are missing basic essentials that I would find other hotels like ironing boards, tooth brushes and tooth paste. It is also bit hard to communicate in English with the staff sometimes. Also there is no place I can fill my water bottles so I have to go and buy it from the shop, which is very inefficient. Other than that the hotel is a great spot to stay.

enjoyed my stay here, largely due to the continental breakfast having more traditionally american offerings like eggs toast bacon etc

Rooms very nice and with high quality. Everything new or renovated not very long time ago. Lights in rooms controled by touch panels. Very modern and I liked that. Big underground parking. To summ up. I can really recommend this hotel.

Quiet, intimate rooms - despite the considerable size of the hotel. Relaxed atmosphere & great staff. Don't be put off by the physical distance from the city centre - it's an easy 15 minutes drive with the U-bahn. Nice neighborhood as well!

I spent 2 night there with my wife and 2 kids, means 2 rooms i've booked, I payed in advance but the guys at the reception didn't find the 2nd room booked, so it took me a considerable time before the problem was solved, then the WIFI, extremely slow, when I claimed about they said they have a problem with Telcom, and the best one is at the breakfast desk, the lady there said only 1 room has a breakfast and the 2nd room (my kids) can't have it, and the last one was at the check out, I found the the lady at the restaurant has charged me extra 35 euros for no reason, I had no idea what was about, so for me I don't recommend it for any one.

Very bad hotel. The location was very far from the most and we spend too much time on the Ubahn. The staff gave the most bad service we have ever experienced. I would never recommend anyone to live here.

Really bad support for costumers which are go there for years. Sinds it's changed from Ramada to Hyperion it's becoming crazy in price while the service it's going down! It's very expensive and nobody know why?? For the lower price you will sleep in better hotel then Hyperion.

Staff very serious and not friendly. Tough and rigourus gestures. Remember that humans may make mistakes. Included breakfest misleading - continental and not in the dining room. Anyway the breakfest that is available in the dining room does not worth the cost of 20 euro per person. Full of meat and sausages. Hardly any vegetables and fresh fruit. Why charge so much?

  • 1/5 R M. 1 year ago on Google
Quite far from the city centre . They charge €10 to use the gym and you have to pre book a half hour slot per person for the swimming pool ( if you can get one) . Total con

nice and neat but i can't get over the fact that you have to pay to park your car at the hotel even if you are a guest of the hotel!

Great Hotel in a great position on Prager Platz. Very pleasant surroundings, 350 Mt from the nearest metro station. Excellent rooms and service, great value for money.

Ok hotel with a good price. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. They don’t sauna here unfortunately. Not in the city center. Some rooms are nice, some are not so great (for a 5 star hotel). Very basic for 5 stars.
