The hotel is in a good location (close to metro) and is a fair price. The showers have good water pressure and there are lockers for storing baggage before check in that take a 1 euro coin. That is pretty much the extent of the benefits. We knew that we would be compromising somewhat with the rooms as the price was affordable, however it was a very uncomfortable stay. The beds are very low (below my knee height) and are way too soft! They are also super narrow and the pillows were like a rolled up blanket (photo below), not a normal pillow at all. Even though we paid for a double room the bed was two singles pushed next to each other. The staff weren't overly welcoming or pleasant. The walls are thin, so was quite noisy even though we were on the 8th floor. Rooms have carpet which just feels unclean and bathrooms are outdated. Also they have bottled water in the room which is a 2.50 charge extra! Free water is a standard in most hotels and no mini fridge either.

Our top floor accomodation request was provided. There is some comment that needs to be mention base on our experience. Washroom needs some updating, toiletries were not provided and needs to be requested, tv channels are not available, some staff needs more training on customer service that tourist comes in different background and they must be accomodating to some question to help the guest explore the area a bit easier at least, phone are not working in our room, no fridge to stock drinks, linens are dusty.

A great hotel in a quiet location but we'll situated for Museum Island and for access to the U-Bahn at Spittlemakt. Comfortable rooms may be a bit on the small side for some, but the breakfast is excellent and staff are friendly and welcoming. Recommended for your stay in Berlin.

Great hotel in an ideal position for exploring all the main sites, all within walking distance. Comfortable rooms, great service from all the staff and a fantastic breakfast selection. Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money.

Perfect for a quick trip to Berlin. quite close to the U-bahn station Spittelmarkt. Walk time from Checkpoint Charlie is 20 minutes. Staff are efficient and there's a small reception area that also serves as a bar. The room was spotless and furnished to the usual high degree. had windows that opened and air conditioning. The greatest item was the bathroom, which had a strong shower and looked like brand new. Had a terrific breakfast one morning with many of options. in a calm area in Berlin's city center😊 The prices was pretty consistent over €140 a night on all booking sites but was able to find it the cheapest on Locktrip for €106 a night, if you do this little trick and add this code VYEOR before login you get it even cheaper, enjoy🙌

Rooms very small, was fine for me on my own, but to share with some one else would be a squeeze. Bathroom lovely size . small reception area, breakfast only meal available, but restaurant near by.

Recently stayed while visiting for the Berlin marathon. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located a block away from the train, with some great grocery, cafe, and restaurant options nearby. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the museums, too. Water pressure in the showers was excellent, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I got more than I had expected. Breakfast was delicious. Room tidy, with wi-fi and tv (I even found channel in polish). Quite close to the city center. Only disadvantage could be quite long time waiting for a lift, but one can always go by stairs. I recommend to everyone.

First of all the location!!! 2 min walk from a subway station, which will take you anywhere you want within central Berlin. The area is very safe and quiet. I walked around in late hours without worry. The staff were nothing but professional, kind and helpful. The rooms are nice just a lack of TV options in English. Which got annoying after a week of not understanding whats said. Wifi was slow, i mean sooo slow. So if you can upgrade to business wifi. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the city.

Hotel is in an ideal area . Close to underground station and a few good restaurants and an excellent baker . Looked like there was a load of work getting done inside the hotel . Nothing was too much bother at reception. Only noise we heard was peoples luggage getting pulled outside the hotel . People who were heading to another hotel on same street . Breakfast was a bit overpriced hence we headed to the baker at the top of the street

Great location at a great price. The U bahn was just over a 100m away up the road. We stayed (couple) for a vacation 3 nights at the beginning of October. We arrived early. Using the lockers were pain free and refundable using €1. We had a great local choice over the Delis/bakeries available within 50m. Our room number was 815 on the top level. The view was basic, though you could get a good view of the Berlin TV Tower. A good room cleaning service. Very good wifi. Also, there is very good 5g available. Would stay here again.

Not a bad place to spend a night in the center of Berlin. The room was clean and well layout. A big plus for windows that actually open. The only complaint that I had about the room itself was the temperature. It was quite chilly in there despite setting the thermostat high. As for the breakfast: I would say “ok” nothing fancy but also nothing to complain about. The variety wasn't great but the things that were there were of good quality (scrambled eggs from fresh eggs). Location is also good, 2 min walk to nearest UBahn station.

Superb value hotel in a great location for those who like a walk. (15-20 mins walk to Checkpoint charlie ect) And a world class reception team who will print out your boarding passes if you need that. 10/10 A++

This hotel is in a fantastic location! 2 minute walk to the underground and with in walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. Hotel room was nice and clean and we were very happy with the room considering the price. There is a small bar in the reception area and limited seating. All drinks were a good price however it would have been nice to have a larger bar area. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the breakfast area looked lovely. There are plenty of cafes near by for breakfast. Most staff were friendly, on check in and check out they were very helpful and catered to our needs. However, a couple of the staff were a little rude and grumpy when it came to ordering drinks at the bar. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again!

I had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and soft pillows that allowed me to relax and rest well. The hotel's facilities, such as the lounge area and spa, provided additional comfort and tranquility. The staff was attentive and ensured that all my needs were met, contributing to an overall pleasant and stress-free experience. The peaceful ambiance of the hotel also added to the feeling of comfort and relaxation. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt completely at ease throughout my time there.

All staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. One allowed us to check-in a tad early which was amazing. The room was cozy, and best of all, had air conditioning!! Twin-sized beds pushed together, so if you don’t mind that, then this is a good fit. Room is decently sized for the area. They have a combined body wash/shampoo substance in the shower, so if you prefer separate ones you should bring your own. Tea/coffee was available in abundance. Great location, close to small shops with great Vietnamese food and other cafés. 8 minute walk to a decent coffee shop (Hashtag Coffee). Extremely close to transit station and walking distance (20 min) to Berliner Dom. Breakfast was €16 per person. Would definitely stay here again if we visited!

Nobody was there, the hotel is closed. We didn't know and we had to urgently book a new hotel nearby. We paid almost 100 Euros which we haven't gotten back yet because nobody answers any of our phonecalls nor our emails. Very dishonest ! We want the money back!

We chose this hotel because we had good experiences with this chain in the past, but this time we were quite disappointed. Cons: - The pillows and bed were quite uncomfortable. Bed was very springy such that even underweight people would sink in. - The bathroom's shower drain was clogged from the moment we arrived. - The carpet in the room is very dirty and stinks from some areas of the room. - The sound proofing is non-existent and when next door room is being cleaned, the bed and wall gets moved and banged repeatedly. - The cleaning staff knock the door at 9 am and then enter the room 2 seconds later without announcing themselves or asking, which is totally unacceptable and which happened in the first 2 days of our stay. Only on 28th Dec the cleaning lady was announcing herself. - Some of the reception staff are rude, they do not reply when we say hello when entering the hotel and simply stare at us then continue what they were doing. - We reserved 2 rooms via booking.com and in the past had called Best Western Support who confirmed to us that regardless of whether we book from their official website or a third party we will be able to claim our reward points. When we checked-in their staff told us that it's only possible to claim the full points when booking from their website and that we will only get 500 points for this stay. Pros: - The location is very close to the main attractions in Berlin and easily accessible with public transport. - Wifi speed was good (50-60mbps) and free. - Nice electrical heater in the bathroom with racks for drying towels.

The hotel room was in poor condition and needs upgrade. The two worn out pillows smell like sweat and the carpet was dirty. But I have to say the front desk staff were friendly though. They sent me a relatively new pillow after my request. I am pretty disappointed by the poor condition of the hotel room as a whole. I travelled throughout Germany for 2 weeks and stayed in various hotels during the time. This hotel needs to upgrade its rooms.

Very comfortable hotel and rooms. Location is quite good - can walk to the museum island district easily. For the money, I thought it was really good value. Rooms were clean and quiet with big windows you can open for fresh air in room and washroom. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel as it was quite expensive but plenty of good sandwich shops just down the street!

This hotel is everything you wish for when you’re on a city break. Location is very convenient, public transport is just 2 minutes by feet and many important museums and sights are within walking distance. We slept really well, the beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and modern. Value for money is simply great :)

Not the best hotel. I was put in a disabled access room for whatever reason. Every morning there was either a phone call or knock on the door as alarms had been set off. I was always soundly asleep! Also, no plug for the bathroom. Asked for one but still hasn't arrived. I would say, find somewhere else to stay

5 stars for excellent pre trip communication answering all questions and giving recommendations, front desk staff courtesy and helpfulness. Great shower water pressure and temperature. Good mattresses. Nice big windows in bedroom and bathroom that open for fresh air.Excellent location to ubahn station and sites. Can pay extra for reserved parking space . Good breakfast selection. Well appointed lobby. Bonus touch in lobby of lego display.

Horrible service.. we stayed here for 4 nights and air con was not working, 28 degrees Celsius in the room. 13-14 outside. We told them twice. Wi-Fi was not working. They forgot to add napkins in the toilet. Staff behind the desk would rather talk to each other then helping customers out. Not the service you expect in a hotel.

As a solo traveler this was a great hotel to stay at, kind staff and close by the metro station though it's also doable to walk to different places (like the Museum island & Alexanderplatz) The breakfast doesn't have a lot of options but it's enough to fill your stomach, however idk if it's really worth €13, this is no complaint tho! I'm used to having bigger breakfast buffets ;) I had a great stay & I would recommend this hotel!

I was a little cautious to stay here originally after reading a few reviews. But actually this place is very good. Rooms are clean and perfect for a city break stay. Have all the basics. Great location and right around the corner to spittelmarkt Station with great access to the city centre. Food offering is good and the staff here are attentive and friendly. The only thing that let it down for me, was the works being done in the reception area. It looks a bit tatty and doesn't give a great first impression. However I would gladly stay here again and would highly reccomemd it if you are looking for a well priced hotel, close to the city centre

On arrival the vibe was more of a slightly upmarket youth hostel, but this hotel has all you need for a stay in Berlin without being overly exciting. Clean, functional, rooms basic box + bathroom box, but everything worked, staff friendly and helpful, safe area with a few nearby restaurants and cafés and U-Bahn station. Area felt safe would certainly recommend. Cute Lego model of Checkpoint Charlie in reception 😉👍

The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing and exploring the city. Within walking distance or by taxi which could be ordered via the receptionist. The hotel staff were friendly and always able to help and guide us with what to do whist in Berlin. On arrival we were given a map to show us where the hotel was and where the nearest underground station and bus stop was. Couldn’t of had a better experience. The hotel staff were incredible.

Not bad.good point is the central location really great close to everything even by on your own.the second good point is the price.the third is private parking for a reasonable price. Clean bathroom. but... Dusty carpet you can see lot of dust near bed and i found gummy bear 🤢 the smell from the carpet was awful.missing kettle should be in the Room, we asked for they bring only one cup 🤷 cleaning lady took our card from room strange...Room was very small, beds tiny i didnt have a good sleep here. Receptionist very nice.overall not Bad for the positives it had.

Clean, nice staff, fair price. Beds were too soft for my liking, but it’s just a small nitpick. Thank you for the accommodation! 👌

The hotel is strategically located at the U2 subway a short walk away. The U2 takes you with just a few stops to the Ku’damm, the Alex, the Schönhauser area and further north to the Prenzlauer Berg, which is a big plus now that the hotel lies somewhat outside the more interesting areas. The room (standard double) was clean and small and reasonably quiet. The mattresses were hard. There is a bottle of water in the room that costs 2.5 €, which I only noticed after drinking most of the water. Our room safe was not working, and when we asked the front desk about help with that (on arrival a Thursday evening), and telling them that, I didn’t want to carry too much cash and our passports around with me, and informing them that it might be a battery issue, we were met with the answer, something like “there is not really anything we can do about that”. For a crucial equipment as a safe, a 3 star hotel should in my opinion have some sort of procedure for a situation like this. The breakfast was acceptable for a hotel in this price range. So all in all I choose 3 out of 5 stars, which is neither particular good nor bad, but right in the middle. If you visit Berlin and you spend most of your time exploring the city, then I can recommend this hotel. If staying at a hotel is part of your traveling experience, and the look and feel of the hotel, the surrounding area, the hotel room, lobby, breakfast and so on matters to you, then there are other hotels in a slightly higher price range and 4 stars I rather would recommend. As with many things in life, you get what you pay for, and as such, this hotel does a reasonably good job for that.

It was ok, but... probably receptionist is on internship or new one, so there is place for learning, it is not polite to talk with colleagues while you have guestes in front of you. They are reading messages, and if you will ask for e.g. high floor you will get it. Location is good. They do not have ice on bar. I booked room with two single beds and got one.

  • 5/5 Radostina S. 1 year ago on Google
Great location, only remark- there is not even mini fridge and you can't cool your water in summer. Probably so that people don't bring food and pay for the expensive (but good) breakfast.

  • 4/5 João R. 1 year ago on Google
Location was very convenient... Not a far walk from Alexanderplatz or the main avenue to Brandenburg gate for example. All close by. The hotel itself is very straight forward .. the room was more than enough for one night stay .. I missed the minibar. Everything else is inside including a safe and AC. Comfortable and spacious bed. Disliked · From 60€ i would expect a breakfast.. even small one. Not a deal breaker but it could be nice to be included.. you can pay around 15€ to get it.. kind of expensive in my opinion.

A little dated and not a great location despite there being a subway five mins away. You are in the dead end of Berlin and there isn't much other than naff bars and a supermarket. Great bakery on the corner though towards the subway ... Recommend their baguettes. Hotel breakfast? Standard continental, edible. The hotel offers lockers on the lower floor for a small fee which is handy on check out day.

Location is very convienient, very close to U2 station. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was okay. The one con I see was the bathroom, it had a bath, while I much prefer a shower in a hotel and the water temperature was changing from extremly hot to quite cold even when you were not touching the tap.

  • 4/5 Alex F. 3 years ago on Google
Location is very central and close to Mitte island. Prices are very good. Breakfast i would not recommend as the selection is very limited and very boring (a few cheese types and bread) and costs 13 euros. You can easily rent bikes for a day right outside the hotel door so its very convienient. There js also a storage locker downstairs for your bags.

  • 3/5 Edward W. 3 years ago on Google
Quick and easy check in, friendly staff. The room is comfortable size, very good shower and usual amenities. I did not particularly find the bed the most comfortable but it was OK and had a good sleep. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on it. All in all great stay and would stay again. UPDATE: charging €1 for storage of suitcases for a couple of hours is one thing but it is OK. Questionable when staying in the hotel but OK. But not taking a card payment for it in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic is absolutely ridiculous. I do not carry cash with me and simply refusing to help out is bad service.

Absolutely fab hotel. The service was fantastic, the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. The whole hotel was really clean and well organised, and handy location next to a U-Bahn Station, or a short walk to the Mall of Berlin and Potsdamer Platz. Loads of nice restaurants and cafés nearby too. (we would highly recommend the Hai Coffee House Vietnamese restaurant!)

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst on a city break! Super super COMFY beds, rooms cleaned every day if u so wish! Close to public transport and only 30 mins walk to most places! Places to lock up bags if u have a late flight - check out is 11 though so that’s good :) only thing we could have wanted would be a small fridge but can’t have everything!! Very good value for money, happy with our stay and slept so well every night as super quiet area :) Didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good !
