Die Lage ist 1a. Auch die Zimmer an sich sind atmosphärisch eingerichtet. Wir hatten die Suite für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Das Schrankbett war ok. Das große Doppelbett hat schon seine besten Tage hinter sich und knarrt bei jeder Bewegung. Das Bad ist sehr schön mit der Regendusche. Der Check In war auch einfach. Punkte Abzug gibts im Service. Die Dame am Telefon war wiederholt super unhöflich und hat mit Zwangstornierung gedroht, weil wir 2 Tage vor Anreise für ein anderes Zimmer eine andere Belegung anmelden wollten - natürlich gegen Aufpreis. Die Dame hat aber weiterhin mit Zwangstornierung und Kameraüberwachung gedroht, so dass mein Bruder und seine Frau nun die Kinder woanders unterbringen mussten. Selbst wenn die Pension schon mal Betrug erlebt hat, sollte man das nicht derart am Gast auslassen. Nachtrag 2h später: die „freundliche „ Mitarbeitern rief nochmal an nachdem ich meine Rezension geschrieben habe hier und drohte mich zu verklagen. Sorry, Unprofessionalität hoch 10 und ein echtes Armutszeugnis. Wir kommen hiermit definitiv nicht nochmal wieder.

Klappriges DoppelBett , personalloser Check-in über Pin, Etagenklo und Dusche.. geht auch mal aber für 100€ pro Nacht würde ich schon gerne ein eigenes Klo haben Sehr Hellhörige Zimmer Positiv es gibt eine Küche wo man sich Kaffee kochen kann und es werden täglich die Handtücher gewechselt Für eine Nacht okay aber mehr würde ich hier nicht aushalten

Unreliable, untrustworthy, these people cancelled our reservations on the day we were to check in, with some lies about our reservation being ‘fake’ as they said they asked Expedia to verify our booking as they could not contact us to verify themselves, said our email bounced back and mobile number didn’t work. Despite this, they verified the refund using the same email and we got it. We have had to find more expensive hotel accommodation at short notice. They obviously got a better offer for the room.

Excellent place to stay. Stayed for 4 nights with my partner in the room with its own bathroom. Very clean and well kept. Felt very welcome and looked after. It is in a great area too, easy to get into the center of Berlin, but also lots of local shops and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone!

Clean rooms, great amenities and a quiet but interesting location with many things to do.

Great place to stay in a central location in Berlin. I stayed 2 nights in a room with a shared bathroom and 2 nights in a private room. Both rooms were spacious, well decorated and cosy. Everything was very clean. The shared bathrooms have closed-off cubicles so you have your privacy. Kerstin, the owner, is absolutely lovely and she looks after you. I'll be back!

Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht, vor allem da die Bewertungen bezüglich der Sauberkeit so positiv sind. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unabhängig von der Sauberkeit zu hoch für die einfache Ausstattung und Hellhörigkeit. Im Badezimmer war nur das Waschbecken richtig sauber. Die Toilette hatte Spuren vom vorherigen Gast. Die Duschbrause total verkalkt und wirklich nicht gern zu nutzen. Die Fugen und Silikon in der Dusche schmutzig/verschimmelt. Die Übergänge zwischen Fliesen und Wandfarbe überall mit Staub bedeckt. Im Zimmer waren auch einige Stellen die mal entstaubt werden sollten (Heizkörper, Kopfteil Bett…) Einfache Einrichtung und etwas Hellhörigkeit sind ok bei dazu passendem Preis, aber Unsauberkeit geht gar nicht. A lovely place to stay in Berlin! The rooms are clean, spacious and bright. The pension is super central, but still quite, has many food options just around the corner and just a good place to stay, when visiting Berlin. Check In was wonderful smooth and easy. Best part - very friendly and helpful owner and staff!

Great place to stay! Very clean, correct and spacious rooms. Quit neigboorhoud, very friendly staff and easy accessible by metro. Also located in a vibrant area with lots of good restaurants! We will definitely come back here.

We were on our way to the airport to fly out to Berlin from London when I got an email from the Pension cancelling our reservation with no notice ! I immediately rang the Pension and was informed they had been trying to ring me and email me for 3 days with no answer. The receptionist then said she contacted Expedia (who I made the booking through) and was told my account was ‘fake’ and as such she should ‘cancel’ my booking. Utter rubbish. Stressed us out no end. I will be making a formal complaint to Expedia about the appalling behaviour of Pension Absolute Berlin and try and get it barred from advertising on Expedia. Needless to say, if I could give this place a zero rating I would !

Room was very clean and well equipped. There is also a small communal kitchen where you can make a tea or coffee and heat something up in the microwave oven.

Love the simplicity and the quiet ambience. Staff are helpful and very friendly. 2 blocks from S bahn, and without luggage, the walk is less than 5 minutes

Very nice accommodation and good value for money. Perfect if you're traveling on your own. The kitchen could have a better equipment but it's good enough. Bathrooms are specially good though they are shared.

Pension Absolut is absolutely amazing! - Great city quart, 10 min. with subway to the center - It has all facilities around, so you don’t miss anything - Very nice and quiet neighbourhood - Room was extremely clean, warm and light - I was using ensuite room, 5+ review - Communication with reception over email and phone was great! Therefore, I highly recommend everyone to book Pension Absolut while in Berlin! Cheers

Exec summary: lovely pension, modern and clean, great location. Stayed here for a week and regretted leaving. Location is perfect: close to U Bahn and Metro, a choice of nice coffee shops and bakeries for breakfast. Our high ceiling room was small but comfortable and agreeably decorated. You can use the communal kitchenette and a choice of 3 shower cells with toilet.

I give this place a solid 10 out of 10! never regretted his choice. Rooms are clean, showers and kitchen are also clean. Every day your room is cleaned, which surprisingly not every hostel does. The staff is great!! The hostess never has to wait, always responds quickly and comes to the rescue. Trains from the hostel are within walking distance, which is also important. thanks to this place for a good and comfortable stay in the city of Berlin.

Bad service. Called to make a reservation while driving and got the reply that reservations and available rooms can be seen on the website. Told her I can’t check while driving and she hung up. Won’t stay at this pension. Can surely be good but such bad service is unacceptable when there are many alternatives Felix
