Not really impressive. Food was mediocre, lacking any pronounced taste or character. The establishment's atmosphere is dark, the tainted walls don't help. Service was nice, but not worth going back. Plenty of Indian places in the area that serve better dishes, so no real reason to go here for their food. Eins kann ich euch sagen, die Restaurantketten in Berlin, die mit indischer Tradition antanzen und propagieren die geilsten zu sein, pfffff. Da zieh ich mir lieber die Bild-Zeitung rein.***** Weiter zu Café Tschüsch: Jedes Gericht hat seine spezielle Geschmacksnote. Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, genug. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Die Speisekarte einfach nur Einmalllliiiiggg 😂😍🥳 Bar oder Kartenzahlung möglich. Personal mega freundlich und nicht so aufdringlich. Keine komischen Blicke oder genervte Kellner. Alle locker, easy peasy (nicht larifari), einfach nur zum Einziehen. Es wird auf alles, sogut wie möglich geachtet. Wie serviert wird und von wo serviert wird. Besteck hab ich inspiziert, TiPTop mein Urteil. Good vegan / vegetarian Indian food. They now sell beer and wine, the beer was a red "west coast" ale which tasted like home. Restaurant has a warm, casual atmosphere, waitresses was friendly and warned me the food would take a while. I would not exactly describe the food as "authentic" Indian food, but more so than most Indian places in Berlin. I ordered my food (Palak Chole I think) as "sehr scharf" and it was nice and spicy. But for the most part, it seemed spicy chillis were just put on top.

The food is delicious, the portions are big, the prices are fair and the service is outstanding! I especially appreciate the political positioning of this place, it's a place where people can feel safe and welcome! The only thing that I think it's missing is that given their interest in society/environment issues, I would expect a place like this to also be 100% against animal cruelty. If they would go fully vegan, it would be a 5-star restaurant for me, without a doubt!!

Next the palak soja was full of flavors and freshness, I can taste love from the maker of the dish. Maybe something could be improved about the presentation (especially the salad) but it doesn’t matter (for now). It’s a small space inside so I would recommend sitting outside, especially during summer. The menu was quirky and cute, a bit over the top (hehe) but everything was explained very well. It’s a vegan/vegetarian place that fits all taste buds so make sure you come and try.

We were only going to stay for a drink but ended up having dinner there and everything was great! The staff was lovely, very helpful and found us a big table, and the food was super tasty! Went to share a dinner with a friend and was seated promptly alongside two other couples. The server came by to take their orders and we were given their menus right after. We decided immediately as we were really hungry and waited for the server to return to get our order. My friend and I were chatting and realized that we had been waiting quite some time for the server to return (around 25 minutes), not even our drinks were taken. The server appears a few minutes after this with the food of everyone else and realizes that he forgot us, and regretted to inform that he was out of curries for the evening and if we wanted to eat anything it would be a salad or a lot deserts.
