Beef House - Taiwanese Restaurant

Restaurant Taiwanese restaurant

👍 It’s a small Taiwanese noodle bar, so there is not much service to say really. However, their beef noodle soup is a must to eat! These thick noodles are freshly handmade, its texture are springy and chewy in which you don’t get in the usual dry thin noodles. The braised beef are tender that melts... People often mention beef, noodles, Taiwanese, good, soup, noodle, small, dumplings,

Small shop with even smaller number of dishes on the menu. We chose ragout, fried dumplings and of course spicy soup with homemade noodles. We enjoyed the specialties outside in the unique ambience of Kottbusser Damm in the evening sun. The delicacies on our table didn't remain undiscovered for long, because a couple came by and asked if the food was good. And here is the review: Apparently we were so convinced that we were asked whether we were tired or whether the food was really that good. A legitimate question, but after a quick check-in with the neighboring table we came to the conclusion that none of those present here were druff and that said it all. Will come again :-)

When the weather gets cold and rainy, the beef noodle soup is my first choice of comfort food. The normal portion now costs €10.50 Try it before the price goes up again! :)

I had the pork ragout with rice and the braised starter without meat. I really liked the ragout and the starter was okay. You should probably order with meat. The owners were very nice and the food didn't take long to arrive. Some music from 鄧麗君 would be very nice, because the place is very, very quiet. I will definitely come back!

We ordered only dumplings and didn't get to try other things because we reached almost closing time. The dumplings were good, but a bit less salty. The handmade noodle soup was awesome and this is one of the best in Berlin. By seeing the food that other people ordered, the food looks delicious and the price is affordable. This restaurant is highly recommended if you have Taiwanese food cravings.

Tasty. Filling. Reliable. Affordable. This beef noodle soup is answer to so many occasions of your life - hunger, sadness, cold, hungover, desperate desire to instantly feel good, to slurp those noodles and to follow that with the most sincere “aaaarrrrgghhhhh”. Also, that grumpy lady owner made my afternoon the way she is. Anyways, check it out.

I filly got the chance to go to Beef House and I must the food is excellent, of course we are in Berlin and not Taiwan so in my personal opinion food shouldn't be compared with Taiwanese local standards and rather with Berlin standards. From this perspective the food was very very good! Homemade noodles, broth was very very tasty, dumpling and sticky rice were also great. I do not understand the 1 star rating... most are complaining that you can't share a big soup in two bowls... They have two options... maybe have a small option as well? Nevertheless this is something that the owners should decide, in the end it's a small family business and they prepare food with love. There are always other place one can go to if they are not happy. Last but not least the service was great, owners were very friendly as well! This place deserves at least 4.6 starts!!!

A true gem of a place. The food is as good as it gets (the soup is heavenly, the dumplings too). A small business run with passion and very low key. This is not a fancy hipster place - and that's what's great about it! Authentic, down to earth and yum. Notice opening hours, as it is not open all day.

I’ve heard this place from Taiwanese friends in Berlin with decent food but terrible service. It is proved totally true. The female owner was rude, unfriendly and blunt. I was with my Germany family and made order for them. But she stopped me from speaking German to her just because we both could speak Chinese. This was disrespectful and ridiculous. Customers should be allowed to speak the language they feel comfortable and necessary to speak and this is Germany! Why can’t people speak German to make other people coming along understand!? I’ve never encountered such a situation in other Asian restaurants here. Well, food is not a big deal at all, or it was discounted by the bad and discriminating service. Won’t recommend it or come back.

I’ve lived in Taiwan and the meal at Beef House really brought me back. The dishes are simple and everything is homemade with love and care, from the noodles to the dumplings. If you live Asian food but are tired of over prepped over seasoned food this is the place to go: it really feels like going to have dinner at your Taiwanese grandparent’s home.

If you know your Taiwanese beef noodles then this is the place! You know what to expect here. Good portion size, and tasty. Best spot for a quick lunch.

4 star just because they have very limited vegetarian options. I ordered the fried noodles with tofu, the dish was a bit on the oily side. My friends ordered the beef soup and they all enjoyed it.

We reallyyyy wanted to like this place! The food was good, nothing special. Came in on a Sunday around 14:45 and sat down and ate until 15:30 when we wanted to order one more small dish. They wouldn't let us order anything more to dine-in though and said we could only order for takeout from then on. We thought it was a little petty as they still had half an hour to go and the small dish we ordered was braised stuff (didn't need to be cooked...). It wasn't a horrible experience, but just okay food and their attitude could be a lot nicer. I was sad because I'm Taiwanese and really wanted to bond with them over their restaurant and food. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend.

The beef noodle soup is delicious. Even the normal size is a good portion. The noodles are thick and fresh and the broth is flavourful. There's a reason this is their signature dish. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't have bathrooms for customers.

We have been here several times, but the hostess' treatment of her guests has deteriorated. I don't want to be that friendly, I don't even have basic manners. It really makes people feel bad when I visit here. I will never visit it again. And there is no terrace anymore.

This is my go-to spot for taiwanese beef noodle soup now! Really authentic and tastes like home. The fried dumplings come out very hot so be careful!

Handmade noodles are always attractive. That's why we really wanted to eat there. The small restaurant is extremely clean and hygienic. A surprising amount of processing, but the dishes come to the table quickly. The dishes we tried were all very tasty. Beef House is recommended to anyone who likes or wants to try authentic Taiwanese cuisine. It's nice that there's something like that in Kreuzberg too.

One of the best Taiwanese beef noodle around. A small place that's been around for a while just moved to a smaller place but food is great.

The flavour is really authentic and tasty. As a Taiwanese,I could guarantee.=) However please be patient to wait for the food. I suggest to go before 13:30-14:00.

Really good authentic Taiwanese beef noodles for a good price. The noodles are very chewy and tasty! The broth is good without msg. Beef pieces are very tender!

Food looks good and smells nice. I'm vegetarian so I tried one of the few (2-3) vegetarian options : fried noodles with veggies. They were good. But nothing extraordinary. Definitely filling and yum though. My Taiwanese friend had a non-vegetarian option with beef. He was happy but wished the beef was a bit more tender. This place is rather small - so sometimes it would be hard to get a table.

It was such an authentic taiwanese noodle. All are homemade and of course you need to be patience. The tenderness of beef, the chewy noodle and broth are just perfect together especially in winter time.

👍 The queue can get really long in a very short amount of time. We were lucky and waited for about 5 minutes before placing our order. The place was fully packed both inside and outside after we picked up our food. We got the original döner but I was unsure about the sauce they used. The sandwich was...
