Great make-over. RIVO is an excellent choice to start your night in Berlin. Fabulous location right at the Spree, beautiful views on the "Oberbaumbrücke" and close to other restaurants, bars and clubs. The new owners and staff were very welcoming. I really enjoyed the food which is a nice fusion of traditional cuisine (e.g. "schnitzel") with Oriental and Asian influences. The selection is not too big so that you don't get lost in it ;) I can recommend this place both for tourists as well as locals. Try to visit in summer and get seated outside!

Just coming back to home from this amazing restaurant. It was my wife’s birthday and I planned to take her there based on Google reviews and I must say, it was worth. We tried white wine, schnitzel and fish in main course. Ambience just being front of spree was good. Good to go in summers.

It was a special occasion so wanted to go somewhere special as well. This place is truly amazing and we had an amazing time there. Ambience top Location top View from terrace top (they have two terraces just saying) Food amazing Service amazing and where patient with our questions about the dishes and helped us in ordering but never enforced anything. Wine was also a good suggestion. We had an really really good experience but still wondering why one star less. It was because we reserved a table for two. First table we got was in a corner and the only thing in the view was a big fat electric pole. So we requested for different table, so we went to other terrace and only table available was in second row not next to water. Which believe me i was happy and had a great view no complaints at all. But there were quite a number of tables around us totally free next to the river bank and they stayed empty till the last and also later they were being offered to people who came with no reservation. Table of 6 - 2 people sat and also another table of 4 - 2 people sat. This was something i didn’t like. No complaints for food,service, hospitality.

Booked to sit in the middle section but it was full when we arrived so were encouraged to sit in the gallery section near the kitchen. Our server kindly closed the automatic door, however another server kept opening it, presumably he was too lazy to go through the door 2m to the left. So every time he went outside, we got a blast of cool air. We ordered a flap steak and an entrecote steak with fries and a Portwein jus. The fries were excellent as was the sauce. Unfortunately, the flap steak whilst cooked perfectly to medium was very tough. Not what I was expecting with a 32€ price tag. The entrecote was tender but despite ordering medium, it was served rare and even blue in the centre. Again for 26€ .... The worst thing about the meal was the noise coming from the kitchen directly behind us. The kitchen staff were singing loudly and there was lots of laughing and joking going on. Perhaps a more serious attitude would have resulted in a properly cooked steak and a better ambience. We won't go back, which is a shame as the restaurant is in a great location.

We have decided to organize our small wedding dinner in Rivo. Everything was perfect: food, cocktails, location, view and of course service. Our waiter did his job in 100% by explaining the upcoming dishes and being helpful all the time. The food was really delicious and looked perfect

Friendly staff and a great location, but the prices are rather high. 18 EUR for 3 potatoes, 4 white asparagus and a small pot of hollandaise sauce. The food was good, but not worth the prices and I wouldn't go back nor recommend it at the current prices.

A great restaurant with a view over Spree. I appreciated inclusivity of the menu as well as a food quality, I was with a group of people, so everyone found something they enjoyed. Service is also a highlight of this restaurant: detail and client oriented, friendly staff made us comfortable and taken care of. Thank you Rivo!

Upscale restaurant with extraordinary food. Highlights are the beef tartar as an appetizer, the truffle pasta and the lamb rack as mains. The interior dome is beautiful and with a nice view over the spree and just be aware to call them and confirm your table is in that place. Credit card payments possible

Really good experience. The food was delicious, the views were amazing and the service was great. We were on the summer terrace, but will definitely come in colder times to seat inside, because it looks also cosy there. One small thing that I did not like: the weiter switched to English with us, while we spoke German with him. It could be ok, when the person doesn’t know German at all, but if you speaks fluently (as I am) it looks just unpolite.

Großartiges Restaurant am Wasser - ein Highlight in Berlin, wer gute Küche mag! Wunderschöne Location, tolles Ambiente und aufmerksamer, super freundlicher Service. Ideal für einen geselligen Abend mit Freunden, um nach dem "familiy style/sharing-Konzept" möglichst viele der modernen und facettenreichen Gerichte zu probieren. Ein kleiner Hidden Champion in Berlin :)

Food and the service are great. The tables outside with the lake view makes the atmosphere perfect for a dinner for two.

I stood already 3x times in front of closed doors, as there are exclusive groups. I was there once and loved it, so tried to come again. Sadly they don’t have any info online about if there are publicly open or closed. Phone calls are also not answered in the afternoon/evening. You can check the table reservation tool and if a booking is not possible anymore, it is likely that they are closed, but they should just update the status on the website or instagram.

Short menu, but everything just looked jummy and the lamb was wonderful! The location itself is extra-ordinary. Special atmosphere with the look at the river.

💕Great view, very professional service, and is worth every cent it to visit! We came together, dressed in cozy home-style clothing, no makeup, very relaxed style. We were not denied a seat and it was nice to spend there a sunset time dinner. The food is elegant, fulfilling, and created with love. All combinations are playing nicely together. Next time we will return with our YT channel review. It’delicious and if you want guaranteed nice time nice view and good food + wine card (the bottle prices are on average x2, which is not bad for the location) - it's a gem. 💕 No regrets!

Work event so I can't speak to the prices but the food, view and atmosphere were all perfect.

I'm totally fine with the food arriving a little late when the restaurant is full but we waited 30 minutes from the moment we ordered for the starters to be served and then after we finished the starters we had to sit there for another 40 minutes before the mains were served despite 2 reminders and they only brought the food after I said we were going to leave. This is totally unacceptable because waiting 40 minutes after we already had the starters we didn't have any appetite to eat anymore. We were offered a soft drink as an apology but that's not enough in my opinion especially that the explanation was "somebody in the kitchen messed up" The food was ok but salty and the service was very friendly but very slow. I would come again and hopefully I'd be convinced to change my mind.

10/10 across the board. I could write an essay but just go and see for yourself - service is impeccable I mean you COULD NOT ask for more, wine recommendations also on point - seriously. They know what they’re doing. Our waiter had only been working there for two weeks and I swear it felt like he owned the place THATS how much love and care and attention to detail we felt. View is insane, food is out of this world. Something there for everyone and the prices are SO fair. We were positively surprised. The portion sizes are also perfect. Perfect as in your can share, indulge, get full but are not overwhelmed. If we weren’t in public my entire family and I would have licked the plates clean. Okay now I wrote an essay but GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

I am giving 2 points only because the waitress interest and kindness. We went there on Sunday, we had a reservation for 2 people. We looked at the menu before we went there, but when we arrived they said that the menu is different today and they only have like a 7-8 different choice. Our reservation was made a month ago because it was a special day for us, they had a 1 month to inform us about the menu but they did not inform us. Our meal was okay-ish, nothing special.

The food was amazing and the service was really good. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Also has a beautiful view over the river
