Such an exclusive place, a former fuel station, then a former collectors villa, now a beautiful urban oasis with a museum and cafe

(Translated by Google) "Small but fine" as the saying goes. Ideally for the weekend and always play it safe and book tickets online, otherwise you run the risk of not being able to experience this gem. The exhibitions are really worth seeing and the current special exhibition on the very early works by Grosz is a great addition to the more well-known permanent exhibition. The café in the old gas station offers a large selection of delicious cakes and invites you to relax in a unique atmosphere after a visit to the museum - despite the Bülowstraße, it is wonderfully quiet and secluded! Be sure to stop by and get an impression for yourself.

This place is not a museum. Two badly light, poorly ventilated, noisy, containers with inadequate fire escapes. crammed with comic pics isn't even an exhibition. These are viewing areas for the next auction. Cafe with a wash-up kitchen complete with pan spray in full view + horrendously expensive slices of cake. TEN euros entry! The Deutsch Historisches Museum on Unter den Linden charge EIGHT. Guy who took my money insulting asked whether I was a pensioner, disabled, war ventren etc. etc. I'm a professional photojournalist. Obviously not dressed up enough for his likes. I STAND BY WHAT I SAY, REGARDLESS OF YOUR COMMENTS. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXPRESS MY OPINIONS AS MUCH AS YOU DO. I'VE NO PROBLEM WITH THE WORLD MATE. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. YOUR VIEWING ROOMS DO NOT MEET (WEST) GERMAN SAFETY STANDARDS EITHER. YOU WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO GET EVERYBODY OUT OF THE CONTAINERS IF THERE WAS A FIRE.

What a hidden gem. A beautiful cafe and gallery space that used to be a gas station and is now hosting a permanent Grosz (German-American painter) exhibition. The garden is an urban oasis complete with pine trees, bamboo, koi-filled water feature and wildflowers. Worth a visit for the art or just a coffee and cake.

Very nice museum and café. I went there for the exhibition and have come back repeatedly for the great coffee and cakes. The inside seating area is not very spacious, but very pleasant. When you can sit outside during good weather, it's really lovely. Highly recommended.

Very quaint and nicely restored. Sadly you can’t visit the cafe for drinks without paying for a museum ticket which the staff makes clear in a very direct and not-so-friendly way.

(Translated by Google) Gorgeous! Another highly topical artist in an impressively comprehensive exhibition. One could say: pictures against war. The special building and the nice coffee would be worth a visit (small minus point: no vegan cake) (Original) Goszartig!

Small and interesting selection of his work. Quiet, cool (air conditioned!) and well designed museum. The cafe in the garden is so beautiful and comfortable. The cakes and coffee were also excellent. Very nice museum overall!

A hidden treasure. It's an oasis in the center of Berlin. Not only do they have the most wonderful pieces by George Grosz, but their cafeteria also serves the most fancy-schmancy beer ever. The energy is right down to the last detail. <3

Cute little Museum with a great George Grosz exhibition that is well worth the visit. Also a hidden cafe with an extremely chill vibe.

Very very small museum, but about an interesting artist. Location is a small architectural gem, a former service station with a nice cafe and terrace.

Interessantes inspirierendes Museum, grüne Oase in der Stadt mit schönem Garten. Es wäre interessant, mehr über die Geschichte der ehemaligen Tankstelle zu erfahren. Tina

A small exhibition of minor works; interesting enough, and a cute building, but very overpriced, hence the two stars. Unless you’re a super-fan, there are more rewarding things to see in the city.

A secret garden in Schoeneberg. Giant bamboo and Koi carp. A shell gas station like a painting by Ed Ruscha. George Grosz drawings worthy of a world museum… …and some of the best coffee in Berlin…

"great" little place! An architectural gem! The old Gas Station in combination with the minimal contemporary architecture .... Perfect! And of course is the exhibition the pulsating heart of the place. The art of George Grosz is still and for ever relevant and meaningful.
