The only reason for 1☆ is because my food was good. But the place was so so nasty. Every table was dirty, all booth seats and under the booths there was do much food and trash on the floor someone else could have made a plate. The workers ½of them were either sitting at a table eating and playing or standing behind one side of the wall laughing loudly, playing on there cell phones, had a nasty bucket of water on the counter from cleaning the ice cream machine and binders sitting all over the counter where you order. I had to walk out to my car to get a handful of baby wipes to clean our table and seats then when another couple came in they had the same reaction as we did and I gave them baby wipes as well. I do not think I will be back until SOMEONE can get new crew hired and kick that crew to the curb. They were terrible.

The food was good, but what I witnessed there, not so much. A family with several children and 2 small puppies, in the dining room. They allowed the puppies to walk on the table tops, licking their drink cups, and eating their leftover fries. An employee walked to their table, held a conversation, and helped herself to some of the family's fries! The children were carrying the puppies all around in the dining area, even up to the service counter to talk to employees! These were NOT service dogs. There are rules in the service dog "world", young puppies are not allowed to be certified. I have been a dog trainer for over 30 years, and I am currently training a 9 month old puppy to be a service dog, so I am well versed in the guidelines for service animals. My husband and I left 20 minutes after the "puppy family" and those 2 booths and 2 tables didn't get cleaned. I strongly suggest NOT visiting the Trussville Freddy's location.

Husband ordered Combo #2 Bacon Double (Swiss)Cheeseburger Combo with fries and medium drink ($8.99). I ordered the same (with American Cheese) and we ordered Large Cheese Curds to share ($6.69). I always order the fries non-seasoned and I’d like to see if I can order the curds without seasoning next time because they were very salt for my taste. Love that we have the choice for outdoor seating as it’s a little cold in the dining room. Food arrived hot & delicious. I LOVE eating at Freddy’s and if you’ve never tried them I can recommend them highly.

Food is good. The last few times we’ve come here our order has been wrong. They’ve also been out of cheese curds and onion rings. The floors are very greasy and dangerous! They need a professional cleaning service to maintain these floors.

I have pass this place since opening, I decided to stop by last night to check out the food. Well just let me tell u the ice cream is amazing, so good I went back for extra topping, they had just close but staff made me happy and served me. Staff was super nice and friendly. Quick service. I will be returning.

Absolutely the lowest degree of customer service I've ever seen. I have tried this location twice now hoping I came in on an off day regarding service but I was completely blown away by watching the orders come out and food sitting on the counter for minutes before an employee would call out the order number. Food was cold by the time it was received and no effort to ensure that the freshness made any difference to customers receiving their food. If you don't believe me just go inside and watch them. I will not be back to this location ever. A total waste of time and money, this is the dollar general of food, total dismay.

We have always enjoyed the food but the last 2 times we have visited it seemed to be ran by a bunch of teenagers who could care less about their jobs. They were out of several different menu items. The place is dirty looking. One of the teenagers was on break and out on the patio making out with her boyfriend. Without some change I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon.

It was great! We was out looking at Christmas lights and wanted something different from what we normally eat. Freddy's didn't disappoint. Fast and very accurate and we had a large and complex order and the only thing that was missed was a fork for a chill dog. It was wonderful.

It was during lunch we all know nobody has time. I had to place my order at the window because I had to wait for 10 at the speaker no one was talking to me or letting me know they were behind.i placed my order at the window, waited at window only to receive cold and hard fries. I have never had such a negative experience at any Freddy's back in Colorado like this one. I definitely won't be returning back.

My most disappointing Freddy’s experience. After placing order( young lady was very nice) went to find a table, all were dirty. Had to get a wet napkin to wipe it off myself. Garbage can was overflowing and was still that way when we left. The drink area was a mess. Burger was fine, fries were fine( they were out of the special sauce ) but my turtle concrete was like a milkshake with pecans in the bottom. I think they need better management and more training for the employees. And sweep the floor and tell employees not to stand in front of order counter and eat their food.

Been sitting in the drive through for over 15 minutes and haven't moved. I'd leave, but the drive through traps you in once you enter it. I guess I'll review the food if I'm ever able to actually order. Update: 30 minutes in, I think I may get food soon. They should be paying us at this point. Update 2: I was wrong. 40 minutes, still no food.

The food is delicious! I'm giving 4 stars based on my previous visit, not the food. When I visited they were out of A LOT (maybe waiting for a truck), no large cups, onions rings, jalapeños, various different sauces etc. So in place of onions rings we ordered the cheese curds along with one of the meals instead of the shoe string fries. Big mistake considering the amount of curds you get is WAY less than the amount of fries you get, not even a handful and the patties were also small this time which was a disappointment. Seemed like a waste of money. Usually this location is on top of things

Super friendly staff; yet the floors are always sticky, and the drink machine only had one or two spouts working. The sandwich came out other than how I had asked. Again, the staff seemed helpful and willing to make things right. The food tasted great overall. Yet this particular location is not kept up well, at least in the dining area.

Me and my boyfriend went here to eat and justin was super nice and helpful, will definitely visit again (must try the Pcb &b sundae)

I love Freddy’s smash burgers. For a burger, they do a great job. Specifically if you like a thin, crispy edge patty. The toppings are delicious and add to the flavor of the burger. The fries are thin and crispy, which I love. But the sauce! We make it a habit to buy a bottle when we go so we can enjoy it back home. I only eat there occasionally, as a burger and fries are quite “heavy” and can leave you feeling quite full.

Location was not clean, floor was so slippery I was afraid to walk, trash on floor, etc. burger was okay but did not live up to the hype, shoestring fries - pretty sure we got the bottom of the bag. Really looked forward to the frozen custard, got the Brownie Sundae which was anything but frozen, more like a chocolate milk shake with added chocolate syrup, brownie at the bottom was yuck. We won’t be going back. Only positive was our meal for two was Less expensive that two meals at Milo’s.

Tasty burgers-just be sure to get a double. The patties are very thin. Fries are true shoestring width and they are good and they give you a good serving. Their Hawaiian delight custard sundae is wonderful. The other night one of the guys working there sounded like he was on the Price is Right as he called out order numbers. Was quite entertaining at times. If you are Gluten Free or Keto you can get the burger in a lettuce wrap and they do a great job wrapping it.

First time eating here for lunch and the menu screen in the inside was out. The young lady at the register guided me through the menu helping me decide on what I would like. Very very helpful! Food was delicious and hot. They were out of whipped cream, but my sundae was still great! I ate in at about 1:15 pm and they weren't too too busy. I will definitely be back! We sat at the ordering sign for 10 minutes with no response, line of cars behind us who were fussing, & when we were finally forced to pull up to the window, we got no explanation or anything-- not even a conversation. I understand being busy and I understand technical errors. If she had told me her mic cut out or the system got downed or ANYTHING, I would have understood. But the lack of communication was horrible & immediately after we left, the long line behind us was served and moving. Maybe we were the unlucky car but having the employees not regard us at all was degrading in its own way. This location needs more staff & better help. I'm not blaming the employees, just the management. - also a fast food employee.

I love the old style look of a good old fashioned burger and soda shop, and this fast food chain has taken that to the next level. The servers at this location were very pleasant. The atmosphere was fun and whimsical. The food was average, I loved the floats we got the burgers were a little greasier than I wanted BUT was nothing compared to most fast food chains!

We came in with a group of 6 people, and had a fairly complex order, but they did a great job with our food. Everything was good and the order was correct. Tasted great! No complaints!

I went here yesterday and two hours later I realized I had food poisoning. Horrible experience I have been vomiting since then. I would say at least avoid the chicken and onions ring going here. Update: 28 days later I received a refund for my meal.

Stopped by to get some food I dined in and I was instantly greeted with a Welcome to Freddy’s. I ordered a grilled cheese steak burger and it was delicious the burger was hot and fresh the fires were hot and very seasoned. Last Saturday I came in the drive-thru STARVING and placed an order. While I was waiting I noticed a young man making fries and could see that he actually cared about doing his job properly (good fries are key!). My order was ready after a few minutes, but when I drove off I realized I was missing a bottom bun. I circled back around and the young lady at the window was polite, but it was the young man who had been making fries that rushed over to find out what was wrong and immediately offered to remake my entire order. I work in hospitality, specifically with a banquets team, and I had a true appreciation for how he handled everything from the fries, to the assistance he offered and remaking my order. I found out that his name is Jordan and I just wanted to give him a quick thank you and to point out how dedicated he is to his job!

I received several complimentary cards for a combo meal and sundae. When I went in to redeem those, the service was great! The employees were kind and quick to help. One young lady, Kaya, was so friendly and professional. Thank you, Freddy’s!

I went inside for my to go order since the drive thru was wrapped around the building. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I did not have a long wait even though they were fairly busy. I got a double cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. Both of which were very good. I will definitely be back next time I want a burger.

It's always clean and its very unique. I loved qorking here but it was very fun and comfortable and admirable.

The milkshake was so good. I ordered the patty melt. I was supposed to 2 patties of ground beef, grilled onions and cheese. It was awful. The patties were cooked to an unrecognizable mess and flatten to the point a regular hamburger from McDonald's looked better

I've now tried this establishment twice at 2 different locations. I am definitely not impressed. Onions were too strong, burgers were greasy and overall not tasty (at least to me). I wish the company the best, but I doubt I would ever give them a 3rd shot.

This place is consistently great! The burgers, fries and drinks are high quality for the price. They also do a good job of adding/removing toppings per your request. The people are nice and helpful. The little things all add up to a great experience.

We love frozen custard. After visiting the north every year we were excited to see someone offer it here. It isn't exactly the same but it's very good. Their other menu items seem to be well received also.

Had a double bacon cheeseburger california style combo. The hamburger was good, beef patties are thin though. I would try the triple bacon cheeseburger next time. Fries are 2x bigger than potato sticks, good when hot. Hard when cold. I will likely go to Red Robin for a few bucks more and bigger burgers and unlimited fries. The waitress was friendly and service was fast.

Very good steak burger. A change of pace from just hamburgers. Fries were also very good. I love Pepsi products; however, my Pepsi drink tasted like a combination of many assorted flavors which did disappoint. Very courteous help at the drive-thru and we’ll be back again. Welcome to Trussville, Alabama, Freddy’s, where all the men are strong, all the women good looking, and all the children are above average.

First time trying this out and I absolutely loved it. The chilli cheese fries were so good! Chicken sandwich was good too. Definitely a great stop if you're in the mood for a burger joint.

Went opening day and you can imagine that it was quite busy. But it is run similar to an In-N-Out so even with a crowd they are very efficient. The shoestring fries were nice a crispy and I love the dipping sauces. They use Pepsi products and have a big soda fountain....but why have 3 slots for regular pepsi....add diet Mountain Dew. The burger was great I ordered a double cheeseburger California style and it reminds me of a double double, me likes it a bunch. To top it all off the Cookie custard sandwiches are a must. Oh I forgot nice fat chewy ice!

Wait was long food wasn't worth the high price . milk shakes they claim is a large is at any other place a medium at best. I have one time and that was one time two many.

The food was good. However, the manager was rude. We came with our family (a party of 6). They only have 2 of the bigger booths open due to coronavirus. One booth had a party of 5 at it. The other a party of 2. Since there wasn't anywhere available for our family to sit together, I started to move a table beside a smaller booth. The manager yelled over the counter at me that I could not move the table due to corona protocol. I understand that there are restrictions, but yelling at me from behind the counter was not necessary. My husband tried to talk to him and he did not even apologize. I'm very disappointed. ☹️

OMG! This place is the best. It's fresh cooked to your order. Food is delicious. The Customer Service is excellent. Well worth it. The frozen concretes are superb. My daughter got a large shake and they handed it to me at the drive-thru and no-joke this ring felt like it weighed about 5 pounds. 5 stars
