My boyfriend and I saw the low review but figured people were overreacting. Let me tell you, they were not overreacting!! I’m sure there are a few good experiences here and there. The staff was really nice. But the cleanliness was awful. We got to the hotel to check in and kept commenting that we didn’t understand why the ratings were slow. As we walked to our room it became a little more evident. Things started getting dirty, floor tiles were missing, towels were shoved under doors. We got into our room and it was bad. First I noticed food grease splattered on one of the night stands and the bed skirt. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The curtain was falling apart and wasn’t super functional. Everything was dusty. And the worst thing is there was feces on the wall. There was no overhead lighting in our room, so we only had a few lamps to work with. I saw a smudge on the wall that I assumed was mud so didn’t think much of it. I turned my phone light on, and it was definitely feces. There is also “The Lounge” that is a bar/club inside the hotel. On weekends it attracts a lot of people. In the evening people were hanging out and partying in the parking lot and it seemed sketchy.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. To start off bluntly, there was a mouse in our bathroom. While they did put us in another room at 11 pm, it was freezing and dirty. There were left over hairs all through the shower and an overall sense that it was not well cleaned. The staff was rude and dismissive and told me a manager would contact me and they haven’t. There were car alarms going off all night and a large group of people in the parking lot throughout the night. I was worried I would come out to a broken car window in the morning. I would HIGHLY recommend not staying here, I would not describe this as a “three star hotel”. After a long day of travel these were the last things we wanted to deal with. On top of it the restaurant and lounge were completely closed, opposed to what their website suggests. Overall total grossness and disappointment… did I mention there was a MOUSE!

My reservation was wrong upon arrival and they tried to add an additional $100 to my rate. Front desk girl was doing the absolute bare minimum, she didn’t acknowledge my complaints at all: The room type I was assigned was wrong, the amenities listed are not correct- no safe, no ironing board and the pool is down and even if it was working, I wouldn’t get in if you paid me to. The property itself is sketchy and extremely filthy. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the beds show signs of bed bugs, heavily stained mattresses. The floor was sticky in the room, the curtains were broken.. everything was bad, there were no pros- only cons. We cancelled and left about 10 min after check in. This place is not safe or clean.

Worse hotel I have ever stated at. They have bed bugs. My room was really gross. There was a new born dirty diaper in there and molding raspberries in the bathroom. Nats fling around them. Blood on the sheets and pillows and pillow cases. I told the work that is working right now. ( 10/19/2022 @ 3:30am) and he did not care. Don't rent from this place. It is so discussing. I better get a refund. For paying over $100 for one night.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in amd you could feel it was off the moment you walked in the doors. Body sweat stains in not only one but both beds, (presumably cigarette) burns/holes in the sheets, stains any and everywhere you can imagine. Visible piles of dirt and debris all over the room including the walls. The coffee maker could not have been cleaned once, there was even growths on the outside of the base. Not even a full hour after arriving I told the staff I was leaving and expect a full refund. Being that I had booked through a third party they said I needed to go through them, that was the only pushback I received. I requested to have it in writing with a name of a manager giving the authorization for a refund. All funds were refunded timely. Do not stay here.

Location, didn't feel safe walking our dog after dark. The 2 back door entrances were not locking as they should, mechanism was broken. Hall ways smell like cigarettes. Rooms, the room with 2 beds were small. Bathrooms were extremely small...you can't get in shower until you close door that hits toilet. The ceiling in Bathroom had mold, had a fan but no switch or was not working with light. Carpets were very dirty, had to wear socks , which ended up black. Walls were dirty and dust everywhere. Our room was NON SMOKING but it smelled like cigarettes. Only Pro was Bedding seem clean. I would not go back! C.D

The reason for 1 star is to be able to rate. They really deserve 0 stars. We found 🪳 in our room and they wouldn't refund my money. They did offer another room, but if you have 🪳 in one room you will have them in another. They asked if we took a picture of the 🪳. Really? They are fast and gross. We weren't going to stay any longer to take pictures. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I don’t understand the negative reviews. This isn’t a Ritz-Carleton. Or even a Holiday Inn. Check in was easy with nice front desk staff, room was clean with comfortable beds, AC blew cold, warm shower, easy checkout. What more can you ask for a $70 hotel? Some people just expect too much. Good place to crash on a road trip.

I feel beyond generous giving 1 star, but as that is the lowest, they got lucky. After driving hours, we walked into the room and left within minutes it was so disgusting and dirty. We did not even brave to go back to the front desk to get a refund through their bullet-proof glass check-in. We opted to drive on hours to NV than stay the night. Our stated smoke-free room smelled like a cigarette and was dirty at best. I would never shower in their rusted shower and sink and felt dirty just going into it before leaving. I have never felt so unsafe or disgusted. I felt lucky to get away. Shame on Windham for putting your name on this location. I have stayed at multiple, and this location should be condemned. I am including a picture of the warning in your room provided and explain the danger of the location.

I had a stay at Ramada at Boise recently. The room was decent, and the bed was alright. The bathroom was clean, equipped with two hand locations and ample toiletries for a one-day stay. However, I was surprised that there was no water bottle provided. On the positive side, the room was spacious, and breakfast at the Saffron Patch Indian style restaurant near the reception area was enjoyable. The receptionist was professional and provided a parking receipt, which was asked to be kept on the dashboard. Overall, I would rate my experience 2.75 on 5. 5 mins from Boise Airport.

Was excited to have a pool/hot tub but they were closed/under maintenance while we came so that was a bummer... Says they have premium channels but we only got 1 news station so my child was bored out of his mind. It is close to places so can walk or easily get a shuttle to airport. Air-conditioning & heat in the room is amazing and they do have a pretty good restaurant in the hotel. All in all was a great value but the amenities need to be updated ASAP as a lot were unavailable like late-check out/laundry (broken) & the tv

Wow, my stay at Ramada Boise was top-notch! From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was clean, comfy, and had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The pool was a bonus! I can't wait to visit again - Ramada Boise made my trip unforgettable! 5 stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Cheaper place. You definitely get what you pay for. It seemed to me like they cut corners with the cleaning. The bathroom didn't actually have a vent. The toilet didn't flush properly. There was a safe in the room for valuables, but it didn't work. The sheets were stained, and the top cover didn't seem to have been washed. They gave us only two towels and didn't have extra available at the swimming area (although I suppose they may have had them if you asked the front desk; we just used the two bath towels we had). We used the swimming pool. There was what seemed to be some kind of scum floating on top of the whirlpool. The ceiling lights were out and/or flickering. There's a gate locked with an electromagnet you're supposed to use your card to get into, but it didn't work, so anyone could technically enter if they wanted to. For some reason, there were rooms that had windows and screen doors into the swimming area. There were people staying in the rooms watching us while we used the facility. Sorta creepy, kind of a poor design. Breakfast was sad. The selection was abysmal, and some of the prepackaged options available had seals broken. We ended up grabbing some fruit and going to McDonald's. Overall, the place was ghetto. Can't really recommend.

5 stars if you like to feel unsafe and uncleansly. Me and my mom stayed there for one night, the room had a broken lampshade along with a fridge that was not working, a truly amazing room. The vibe was amazing, when I walked through the halls I was afraid I would run into an intoxicated person or a predator due to the fact that there was a drug deal going on about 40 feet away from the building at all times. The customer service was truly amazing, after we called in about the broken fridge somebody came in about ten minutes. They knocked on the door and before I could even open it the attendant unlocked the door and walked right in. Honestly a great experience if you want to feel like your on a horror movie set

This hotel is the worst hotel that I have stayed. We arrived late night about 10:30 and saw police car in front of the hotel. When we got key and try to go to our room. Several people were smoking at the entrance which supposedly should be locked, and just be unlock by hotel key, but people use thing to keep it open. After getting into the room, the bathroom has weird smell and I can see all the air filters in the room and bathroom are all dusty. We can hear people talking and door close on the hallway. I have to use the bathroom mat to cover the gap between floor and door, because we can hear everything on hallway. The TV in the room was not working, but it was late and we were too tired to ask, so we didn’t reflect to hotel about this issue. We went out before sleep and see the other police in at the parking lot of the hotel. We only stay here one night and saw police three times. The hotel said they have breakfast for guest from 6-9am. I go to the place sever breakfast around 8:20. There is nothing, but just dry cereal. The other guest was asking staff there and they seem wouldn’t put anything new out. If that so, you should just said “free breakfast first come first sever. If food run out, that’s too bad.” Don’t said complimentary breakfast because there was nothing serve. Overall, we spend $110 for a basic two queen room for one night. I think it is a terrible value and I won’t come back for any Romada in the future.

I am highly disappointed in my stay at this hotel. Free Breakfast is NOW required to be eaten in restaurant. This makes no sense when all the rooms have a fridge and microwave. I also do not eat in restaurants or cafeteria type settings due to COVID reasons. I order my food to go usually or I cook at home. How can you force your guests to shove their food down their face, be around complete strangers when they eat, and not allow food to go when traveling??? A lot of us are on the go in the morning, and don’t have time to sit down to eat. Also they don’t start service until 7am-ish which is kinda late!

Cleaning staff should be ashamed. The bathroom ceiling has black mold growing, shower head was broken so water spewed everywhere, shower curtain has black and red mold on it and was very yellowed. Bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned nor was the toilet?!? Added pics but I don’t think they do justice of just how bad the curtain was. The room itself looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in a long time… the floor was dirty when we got there. We had to plug in the mini fridge was it was unplugged and there were a number of old socks behind the TV stand and it was very dusty. Next time I’m in Boise, I’ll be staying at the Comfort Inn down the street which seems to be rated well. This place is not a good value and Wyndham Hotels should really be taking a close look at this property and ask if this is how they want their customers to remember them.

The pictures are old pictures before repurchased from new owners 🇮🇳. Establishment and service are mediocre at best. On our last day, the fire alarms were going off, and a fire truck came. We exited the room and waited in our car while we watched the trucks drive off. No staff let anyone know it was safe to return to their rooms. They also have a restaurant attached in the main lobby that fills the lobby up with an Indian food smell, and to top it off, they also have a club attached that makes it impossible to find parking at night, as well as having to see people hanging out smoking or drunk around your car not mention the music from the club you can hear blaring when you walk in. Thank goodness we didn't hear it in our room. I will NOT be returning or recommend staying here.

Gross place! om the smelled like cigarettes. Then i was relocated to a new one that smelled normal. But the floor looked like it wasn’t vacuumed. All the towels had stains. And the bathrooms had nasty floors and showers. Also, continental breakfast was pathetic. Will never stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

After leaning on the door that was painted shut, newly remodeled I guess! Walked into a blasting tv and fan on full blast sucking moisture from the bottom of the pool. Maybe a pee trap going off the foul odor. Made for a long night sleeping on a damp bed. Needed a hair dryer and wasn’t one of those (shocker). Must be a shortage on vacuums as well. I’m sure this is all COVID related!! Very disappointing. I’ve stayed in hotels above a bar with shared bathrooms for $15 that were 10 times nicer and cleaner than this. Clean is everything and this place doesn’t have this anywhere other than the advertising.

Decent place for the price, breakfast was pretty minimal, toast, hard boiled eggs, Cheerios, raisin bran, apple juice, orange juice that was it. Nice size indoor pool and hot tub, although the hot tub could stand to be warmer, beds seemed to be pretty new. The staff was pleasant. TV only had 6 or 7 channels. The microwave and mini fridge in the room was a nice touch although the fridge didn't get quite as cold as it should. Overall fair for the price, not sure why all the super negative reviews, but most things seemed like they were recently renovated. Would definitely stay again if passing through.

on their website it lists under amenities that they have breakfast. they do not. they also say they have a pool. it’s empty. the room is mid. it has two beds which is nice but it smells really weird. if you’re looking for a “cheap” hotel with a pool don’t go here you can’t swim. location is fine. close to the airport is convenient i suppose but it’s not a place i would recommend. lots of false advertising. also the tv barely gets any channels. also my room was dirty. random things are rusty. wouldn’t take your kids here. evidently wasn’t vacuumed. and the mattresses don’t look that great when you lift up the sheets. found some blood stains

The following issues were noted; Room lighting (entry florescent flickering), tall lamp in corner not working. I pulled the florescent bulb out. I took the corner lamp out to a maid and asked her to find one that worked. No ice bucket in room. No hair dryer. TV Volume had to be adjusted on back of TV. The slider out to the pool had a six inch gap at the top when I tried to open the door, but the bottom would not slide. The pool was not available, maintenance was working on the pool with hand tools, (very loud), I complained to the front desk, they informed me the maintenance crews contract allowed them to work until 10pm. My wife complained about the odor, they were trying to cover up pet and mold odor. The exit security doors would not lock, homeless people were wandering the halls. One of these guys verbally assaulted my wife in the morning as we were preparing to leave. When I showed up and tried to shoo him away he bent down and grabbed a handful of rocks, throwing them at my vehicle. (I called 911). The add for this place says Pool, hot tube, Restaurant, Bar, non of which were operational. DO NOT STAY HERE, not safe. The front desk (Sarah) was extremely rude, and unconcerned about my issues. I am dealing with my credit card company to have the charge removed.

Receptionist was very courteous and helpful. Room was clean. Shower was great. Only downside was the cable TV, it didn't work well and should be an easy fix and is just laziness not to repair it. Overall for the price it was fine.

The rate google gives us the average rate for the month not the actual rate. The person on the phone we spoke to was not even at this location. We asked him to let us know what the rate was with tax and that we didn't want anything else he was going to offer. He continued to do his whole speal. The people inside were great and helpful they were not sure why he told us what he did. Our room TV didn't work properly. The room had a window that looked out to what was some type of storage area in the building. Overall when even finding your room door it is confusing because multiple hotels are in the same area. They do have a restaurant next to the hotel. As a bonus they are right next to a shell station and right off the hwy with easy access to get back on 84 west or east. I would rather have stayed at another hotel but if you do stay I would not call to book and go directly to the hotel.

  • 5/5 Jenny B. 1 year ago on Google
This is a nice hotel. I’m seeing all these bad reviews which almost made my decision. Glad I booked. Super thick comfortable bed. Spacious rooms. CLEAN. No smell. Good pillows. Great hot water pressure and quiet. The heat works great. No homeless around, granted it’s cold and snowed but I have absolutely no complaints. Right off 84. Fuel across the parking lot. Food across the street. Good lighting out back (for my single travelers(ladies)) Airport on the other side of the highway. Great stay.

If I could give it negative stars I would. We checked in late and after booking online our reservation still hadn't gone through an hour later .. Then we walked into a dirty room... At first I thought maybe they just forgot to vacuum and I was going to over look it, I mean housekeeping can't be perfect. But as I set out things down I noticed everything was disgusting. I mean puddles of urine around the bottom of the toilet, hair everywhere in the bathroom, the shower was covered in soap as well, there was a weird wad of toilet paper stuck to the ceiling, the refrigerator was not cleaned at all, male you know what on the night stands, and I could keep going on.... I mean it couldn't have been that bad right??? WRONG!! I took videos! The lady at the front desk was wondering and did take pictures of what I saw and said she'd speak to the manager when he got in (was supposed to be there at 9am and still wasn't there at 10) I never got that call and I've emailed twice now with no response... Don't waist your time with this horrible place... They definitely do not care about their guests.

  • 1/5 Stephanie M. 2 years ago on Google
It started with a not very happy young man at check in. Then upstairs to the room. The room smelled very strange of strong chemicals and stench. Don't even think about walking around the room barefoot because the carpets are filthy. The towels are stained, the sheets don't fit the matress so they pop off when you sit on the bed. Absolutely horrible experience. Indoor pool and hot tub that aren't in working condition. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. Oh and last straw was just wanting to take a hot shower to feel clean again and guess what, no hot water. Would had given a 0 if it was an option.

  • 1/5 Bliss 1 year ago on Google
Not much to add to what everyone else said. The managers obviously do not give one iota of a care about this place and have a lot of nerve charging over a hundred bucks a night. Room was FILTHY, had NOT been cleaned at all beyond the bed being made. No vacuuming, brown poop splatters in toilet, black foot streaks on shower floor, hairs in the shower, gunk all over the bathroom countertops. Housekeeping is taking this place for a ride. Nice scam, getting paid for doing absolutely nothing. Noise all night from poor door insulation. Unsecured building. Trust when I say, you’d be MUCH more comfortable sleeping in your car and showering at the Flying J up the street, which is what we ended up doing the second night we stayed in Boise.

The good. The staff were nice and friendly, towels were decent, bathroom was stocked with proper toiletries, room at first glance appeared clean, no unpleasant smells, water temperature was hot, and thankfully and most importantly no signs or trace of bed bugs. The bad. Rust all over the towel and shower rod, rust on all the metal in the room, carpet feels nasty like it's never had a carpet cleaner ran over it, A/C only works on low, missing a curtain, not enough outlets to power the TV, fridge, lamp, microwave, and cable box at the same time, stains on bed skirts both the visible side and the under the mattress side, stains on the curtains, desk chair is dusty and dirty, room safe doesn't work, water stains all over the ceiling, bathroom door has so much paint on it that you have to shoulder check the door to get it to close, some kind of mystery fluid that appears to be from extra curricular activities has ran down part of the wall and dried, and one of the bed skirts has a major tear.

  • 1/5 K C. 1 year ago on Google
Disgusting and unsafe. UNSAFE!!! The facility itself is unclean, not attended to, and not properly secured. The outside entrances to the hotel are not secured day or night which might explain the caliber of people wandering around like they own the place. Throughout the night you will be serenaded by disputes, partying, and all kinds of nonsense taking place in the pool area that supposedly closes at 10:00pm and opens again at 9:00am. This is a "Non smoking hotel" yet, bed linens are covered in cigarette burns and cigarette butts are in the pool area. During the night as tension increased with a domestic dispute outside our sliding door to the pool area, we considered how we could make a safe exit. The only solution that could be safely considered would have been a police escort. Why? The chaos and sketchy business going down in the impound/parking lot for this hotel as well as the nonsense in the hallways and general areas, present extreme concern for safety. The front desk certainly didn't appreciate being called to address the issues that were taking place, they were far from helpful or considerate. If only pictures could be attached to these reviews, I am certain that it would be appalling to anyone. At least corporate should be able to receive attachments such as these. And, I assure you that route will be taken. Another word of advise if you dare risk everything and stay here; you might want to pack your own Toilet paper, towels, blankets, etc. I hear they are short at the moment.

Went to this hotel with my boyfriend for our first trip together and we were heavily doubtful of the quality due to all the bad reviews. But when we got to the hotel, staff was so nice, they gave us extra keys, everything smelt nice in the room, everything was clean, and it was fully stocked with extra stuff for our needs. The only issue we had is that the water for the shower was ice cold and wouldn't heat up at all. Other than that the bed was comfy, it looked nice, and everything was clean. I will DEFINITELY come back with my boyfriend again.

I can’t say enough about how awful this hotel is. Dirty washcloths (fresh make up on the backside), dirty tub sides, lotion smeared on the bath countertop, no window or any way to get fresh air (fire safety?) which made it very humid even though it was cold out, a thin door separating our room from another and the adjoining room was packed with junior high age sports team members who stayed up ALL NIGHT, no one answered when we called the front desk. We didn’t sleep at all and we had an athlete competing at a state event the following day followed by a long drive home, it was so loud we were able to record them through the door/wall and hear everything. The pillows, if they can be called that, we’re worse off than very small used dog beds, no alarm clock, no garbage can. The pool was freezing, the hot tub lukewarm. You too can have all this awesomeness for $140/night! I’ve stayed in nicer hostels.

  • 1/5 Amelia H. 2 years ago on Google
Look I know if you're already looking at the reviews for a two star hotel you're probably pretty desperate. Every other room in the area was taken and we really needed to crash. Weird wet scary hole in the ceiling above the shower along with some mold. Armchair has definitely been THROUGH IT and had a nice little splatter on the bottom to show for it. Hand railing is rusty and sharp. We didn't get any shower things ... Just three bottles of lotion by the sink.
