This is one of the best restaurant in Sylhet. I have visited this place at least one time if not several times whenever I come to Sylhet. Huge restaurant hundreds of staff and always crowded. They offer all kind of Bangladeshi cuisine, local fresh fish, chicken, mutton, beef, vegetables etc. most important thing the food is fresh seems like. You have to be tricky to get a table there as it is always crowded with tourists and locals. You can have kebab, faluda, juice, tea also here. The price is moderate. If you go in he mornings it is also crowded. The khichuri at the breakfast is too good. They accept Cash. I didn’t know about the cards. They have one more branch in Sylhet but that’s not so popular. It is in the Heart of the city.

I have so many memories here! I love their chicken khichuri in the morning a lot! You will not get it if you reach there after 9am! I have tried almost all the items they offer. Most of them were pretty tasty! You should try their pudding and faluda if you have a sweet teeth. Price is also very reasonable!

We tried kala vuna and kobutor as our main. Kala vuna meats were 'ok' type, not so special in taste. One Kobutor was served per person as package. The Kobutor were small actually, but can't say bad because of the price tag, good pricing. Kala vuna/ kobutor + dal + rice were their package. According to price, the packages are pretty good. We tried fish vorta which felt dry to me. Chicken tikka was very good. The dal was not thick. Water was provided free. As dessert, we tried faluda and mango milk shake. Faluda was too good, a must try item. The place is very crowded, have to wait to get any table. Their stuff's behaviour was friendly. Overall rating: 7.5/10

The chicken khichuri was very delicious. I loved it. It was 7 am.. So only breakfast items were available. Will go there in another time in the future to try other items.. It was crowded too much even in the morning. As a result the waiter seemed a bit stressed. But overall I liked his service.

Pansi is an ordinary Bangladeshi style restaurant where food are cooked ahead of time and served mostly cold. Don't expect anything freshly cooked. As for hygiene, be cautious about you order, they have know idea how they maintain hygiene at the kitchen but on the table food were served without any regards to maintaining hygiene. It was very crowded at dinner time when we got there, had to look for a table. Many yltabled.are shared with other customers, so not much privacy. If you are on a budget and want a quick and cheap meal this would be a very good choice Food cost was really economical.

Having tried the one in Zinda Bazaar we opted to go upstairs however it was mega busy! Which means great food right? Well, it wasn't to my expectations but still OK. Not somewhere where I would go again but we left on a full stomach. The toilets was the worst yet no hand basin to wash after unless you leave the toilet and onto the main eatery area which is not ideal and a hygiene risk. Onto the food, it came out quick along with all the sauce's etc but some items was a but pricey and for what you pay you get soo little for examples the beef Borta which was in tiny chunks and got like 10 pieces and was too tough. The drinks was mildly cold and the chicken was way too boney.
