We'll, to be fair this place is absolutely shocking, it's filthy, table's are clearly not being cleaned, luckily we carry antiseptic wipes (due to covid and the need to keep clean) and used at least 8 of them to clean ours. There are no beer mats, hence the scummy tables, there are no menu's, when I asked I was told "download the app!! I know it's only Weatherspons but this is the worst one I've ever been to. When our food did arrive my burger was burned to a crisp, black, when we asked for condiments we were directed to an old table with boxes on it with sauce and such stuck on top, really unprofessional. I will definitely not be eating at this place again it's absolutely horrible and dirty.

Spacious pub with a open fire great in winter to sit and drink coffee or a pint. Open for breakfast which is great value for money and has a good menu choice. We've also sampled the curry on themed night....very tasty. Prices are competitive for both food and drink. Free refill on tea and coffee is brill. We've always enjoyed our visits. Comfy, cosy and friendly.

Great pub with superb drinks choice and fab service. All the staff are good and nice atmosphere and best of all the prices. The app is great too with Table service ! No waiting at the bar. We come here lots driving down from Preston, have a nice walk on the front and finish off with a few fab drinks and food. What’s not to like !! Customer service is second to none. Thanks folks !!

Went in here for a quick drink and got the perfect seats right next to the open fire. Drinks were served with slight delay and staff not as friendly as other Wetherspoons, plus even when requesting straws on the App we still had to ask when they brought the drinks 🥺.

Great pub with lots of premium hand pulled beers, they also have a large selection of largers and wines at really good prices. I was told the food was good too but couldn't comment on that as I didn't eat there. All in all a great pub to visit with a friendly atmosphere.

We were fortunate to sit outside and enjoyed great table service for drinks and food. The food was ordered from the App and took only 8 minutes to arrive. The whole party of 9 had different things that we were all very happy with. The only issue was that we couldn't park nearby. That and the fact I'm disabled made it difficult for me to get to the toilets.

Spoons #80 on my quest An interesting pub just off the main road in Lytham down the road from the pier, very nice road side appeal the only negative as with most pubs…. Having to run the gauntlet of smokers to get in! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere when inside, it was busy and service was swift once the order was placed on the app. The small plate sharer was more expensive than London prices. Food was nice. Apple crumble was good.

A pleasant branch of Spoons in a relatively affluent town just outside Blackpool. Had our second pint and left shortly after on a bus to Blackpool centre.

Ordered 3 empire burgers between us. 2 of them had patties that were burnt to a crisp, the other had one that looked like it had been cooked over a radiator. Waited an hour, no sign of any member of staff other than the doorman coming over otherwise we'd have complained there and then. Poor service.

Come in here quite often. Enjoy sitting in the booths. The manager always has a chat with you and the staff are very friendly. The floor member named “Dee” was very helpful!

One of the best Wetherspoons to visit. The food is good, not cordon bleu but to a good standard. The staff are really efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is good. Always busy but not a problem getting served. We'll worth a visit if you are in the area.

Good size pub, great prices, well situated. Outside drinking area, brilliant on a sunny day or evening especially summer. Staff good, well worth a visit when in St Anne's

A lovely relaxing Spoons. Well worth a visit.

What an excellent place! Found tucked on the back streets away from the main street, absolutely rammer by happy customers, spent a good few hours here watching the staff, and some are absolute diamonds! Well done guys!

It's a 'Spoons, you know the score! Cheap and cheerful with friendly staff, great food and drink.

  • 5/5 Neil W. 1 year ago on Google
It's a typical Weatherspoons. You know you won't get ripped off. Food and drink are at a price where most people can afford. It's a large venue with lots of places to sit. Staff seemed very friendly and happy to help.

  • 2/5 Darrell T. 1 year ago on Google
Fifteen years ago this place was great and used to come here all the time for food or sometimes just drinks. Now it's the grubbiest Wetherspoons I've ever been in. The tables don't get wiped and it smells. It's like having dinner in a hoarders house.

  • 5/5 Mel B. 5 months ago on Google
Spoons as always does exactly what it says on the tin! It can't be beaten for value on the great selection of drinks, the food is basic but as always, hot and fresh, the service was excellent given it was very busy. The toilets are always a hike but in true Spoons style are spacious, well equipped and immaculate. My only niggle with this venue is that it's cosy at the back but a bit chilly at front of the pub, that said, we had 2 small meals, 2 premium beers and a coffee and it was £20......£20!!! To all the 'Spoons' snobs.....you keep paying over inflated prices on your drinks and stick to your fancy bars.... we'll keep smugly drinking our vfm beers and having a laugh at you 😆

  • 4/5 Michael A. 10 months ago on Google
It's your typical Spoons. Good drinks, good food. Great for any indecisive mates, who want to go for a drink and bite to eat. Much friendlier and more helpful staff than other Spoons I've been to.

  • 3/5 Alex B. 1 year ago on Google
It's a bit of a dark venue. Better to sit out if possible. Wetherspoon is always great for value with standard food options that don't thrill you, but do the job. Still a good option for a meal on a budget.

A bit disappointed with our visit this time the Yorkshire pudding and gammon was not as good as on our previous visits and the price of a pint of cider and a lagar were too expensive. It was a shame because previous visits have always been very good.

I used to love going to spoons but now things are changing! I regularly use St.Annes branch and Dover and have been really disappointed of late. The food has got awful, the curry was grizzly chicken and the rice was like a brick! So I had the chicken basket not too bad but the tenders were just about edible ,very hard! The spit grilled chicken my husband had was cooked but very pale and soggy. PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS IT'S NOT GOOD! 😬

  • 3/5 Nigel B. 10 months ago on Google
I normally give this Wetherspoons a good review but this time although the staff were very good the curry (On curry night) was more like soup. A Great shame because Wetherspoons curries are usually very good.

Cheap drinks and good selection of food. Breakfast was great. Staff were very busy but still friendly

  • 3/5 Terry B. 11 months ago on Google
Service was good. There is plenty of choice on the menu. The downside is that the food needs to be hot and NOT lukewarm. This seems to be a problem with a lot of Wetherspoon pubs.

We go in every Thursday. Gang of us. Never enough staff on bar. Food never hot. The staff all work very hard . The company need to address this problem. People are getting fed up.

To be honest we only called in for a cold drink it was that hot outside, 🥵 but from what we could see it did look very nice and the staff were very pleasant.

My last Wetherspoons of six around Blackpool and the surrounding area in one day.Great staff, cold pint which finished off a lovely day.

  • 3/5 Kevin L. 7 months ago on Google
The good thing about wetherspoons is that you know what you are going to get. We ordered breakfast via the app, I'm not sure that is the quickest option as the place was not busy at that point, but it still took a while to get our drinks. There was only one single machine for the hot drinks and by the time our cups were brought over the queue had increased. There were no t-bags within the area so I'm not sure if they had put them somewhere else but no chance of asking as the queue behind me was solid. I settled for coffee simply so as to not make everyone wait. By the time I got back to the table our food had arrived. I had the traditional breakfast and it was good, as expected. For me personally I would have preferred it if there was a designated family area, so people without children had a chance to relax in a quieter environment. The staff were pleasant although we had very little interaction with them.

Ion walking through the door, directly on entering there was an unattended rucksack. My wife took a seat at the far end of pub, table 21, which is approximately 20 foot from the end of the bar. I informed a member of the bar staff about the concerning rucksack and was asked to "go and kick it out of the way for me". I informed him that was not the done thing wit a suspicious package. I placed my order via the app and observed the same member of staff pour the drinks. They were then moved by another staff member to the end of the, 20 feet from my table, which is where they stayed. The staff members stood around as the bar was quite for a while. The second staff member then walked past the drinks to open a toilet door for a customer, returning to the bar past my drinks. He stood around for a few minutes and then left the bar and delivered my drinks This was my first, and my last visit to this pub. I will stick to Lytham where the service is far better.

My sister and I had a coffee and shared a small bowl of chips. I also ordered 2 slices of bread and butter. I was about to make a chip butty with half of the chips and my sister was going to have the other half of the chips, when a member of staff offered to supply us with another plate. This is a simple offer but not seen by me outside of Wetherspoons. Customers before profit - wonderful.

Usual Wetherspoon's. Unusually they ran out of the beer I ordered with my meal via the app. Having taken my replacement order they promptly forgot about it, with me having to finish my meal and then go foraging for the pint. Beer and food fine; staff friendly and polite; just irritated to have to go beer hunting.

Was in there on a Friday evening. Just with the Mrs both aged 50. Away for weekend. Doormen asked us to drink up and leave as we were laughing too loudly. Couldn’t understand why ? They said W - Spoons ruled. Had good beer and we had a nice meal. Shame

Good pub. First time visiting The Trawl Boat Inn, alot bigger than I expected and as its a Wetherspoons its really cheap both food and drinks, will be visiting again when next in St Annes

  • 2/5 James C. 2 years ago on Google
This used to have the best atmosphere in st Anne’s, especially around Christmas. Unfortunately the staff that have been taken on seem to cause issues with anyone they don’t like the look of. Recently involving police being called to the establishment and resulting an intimidating atmosphere. I won’t be visiting any time soon.

Great to have this near us. Used app for first time that worked well. The curry was fine although rice was lumped into two pods. As ever good value for money in pleasant surroundings.

  • 4/5 Andrea K. 2 years ago on Google
Cheap and cheerful, you know what you're getting in a Wetherspoons. Food was ok, two of our party had pizza's and they both looked and tasted lovely. If you order a basic steak and chips that's exactly what you get, worth paying a little extra for a bit more on your plate. Drinks are the best value around. Nice pub, really nice friendly staff. We will be back xx

Nice enough (in a generic sense) inside. Food less so. Had a mixed grill and they forgot the sausages. When the arrived I'd nearly finished, and they were poor quality. Tiny portion too. Not recommended.

Food not hot just warm, only one coffee machine working so had to queue a while as it was a Sunday it was very busy. In my opinion the level of cleanliness wasn't brilliant and there wasn't a lot of staff serving saying it was a sunday

Menu the same as all the other Wethers I've been in, not that there's anything wrong with that. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.

Not the nicest surroundings. Really really need new chairs. And tables . Looks very old fashioned. The ladies toilets Doors dont lock on most of doors. One cubicle doesnt have a light. The coffee machine . Coffee always luke warm. Please sort out temperature of milk. Not healthy . They Do Not clean tables enough. But food is good for the price. Drinks are a good price. Staff work very hard. But they need more.

2 pints of doombar 4.20! Large bar, plenty of staff, prices so good it makes no sense to drink at home! Take a friend and support ur local pub and let someone else wash up. Ps... The toilets r clean too.

When you want to eat and drink out with friends and are looking for nice food and drinks that won't break the bank you can't go wrong here, the food was delivered hot and was freshly cooked and was plentiful, the vast selection of drinks are enough to satisfy all tastes, the staff are very polite, helpful and friendly and check in on you to make sure that everything is ok with your order, also this pub has a lovely big live fireplace which makes it very cosy on a chilly winters day.

Love the Wetherspoons where they have outdoor seating and you can watch the world go by. Fantastic real ales and £1.49 was the cheapest I found. Great quality too. Visited early Friday afternoon and it was already busy. No problems getting served though by the friendly and efficient bar staff.

  • 3/5 Alex M. 1 year ago on Google
When I sat down I didn't realize it was a wetherspoons until I went to the bar to order drinks. The interior is nice and bright with a fresh look. All the bar staff were very polite and helpful.

Good value breakfast. I had the full veggie breakfast and really worth the money My friend had traditional breakfast and really enjoyed it. Situated on the most popular street for eating and drinking in St Annes.

Just popped in for a lite bite had the gammon it was very nice. Had to wait for the food a little longer than we had done before but it was busy. Then again no longer than other places. Think I am just used to it being fast. The staff once again were very helpful. Good food and good staff. Nothing else to say.

Nice place and freindly staff but the all day brunch was not as expected eggs were not cooked properly and bacon cold and hard I personally would not attend there again

  • 4/5 Metal M. 1 year ago on Google
Good range of drinks at a reasonable price, even better if you use the app.

  • 1/5 Sharon B. 1 year ago on Google
Abysmal. Ordered food a burger and it came cold as did the chips. On its return it had just been microwaved. The pub was freezing. Customers were sat with their coats on.
