Venue. Tables not too cramped together with plenty of leg room and nice traditional decor. Toilets were clean and odour free. Plenty of outdoor seating. Children's indoor soft play area is great to let the kids burn of some energy before their meal. Large car park suitable for most vehicles. Service. Very friendly polite staff and quick to accommodate any special requests. Orders were delivered in a reasonable time. Food & Drink Carvery was very nice and had plenty of vegetables and sauces to choose from. Steak was cooked to perfection I highly recommend the mixed grill you get a large meal for not much money and was great value. Vegan and vegetarian options available but our party are all meat eaters so couldn't comment on them. Alcohol can get expensive depending on your tipple but your standard pints are reasonable.

We had the most amazing carvery here! The Q was very big to get your food but the food was very nice, we also had slices of cakes afterwards which we lovely and portions were huge, all in all a great Sunday dinner with the family xx

Plum Tree Farm Carvery serves the most wonderful food! With either the large restaurant or bar area to to have your meal. The decor is very cosy indeed, with an open fire available in the colder months. On entering, the staff are extremely friendly & made you feel welcome instantly. All their food is prepared freshly on the premises & service is quick. You have either the choice of the carvery, (which is served throughout the day/night, woth a very hard working Chef!), or choose from the main menu, (which offers a very good variety to suit everyone's tastes!). Their desserts are almighty & definitely worth a try!!! A great "Takeaway Service," is also available. At busier times, e.g weekends, school holidays, etc. you can take a seat within the bar area where you are given a device that will give you an alert when your table is ready. Washroom facilities are available which cater for all needs. A children's activity area is provided to the back of the restaurant.Their is a large carpark to the front of the main entrance with disabled spaces available. Plum Tree Farm also have a Christmas Savings Club. All details are included with the photo included in my review. Opening times; Monday; 7am-10pm Tuesday; 7am-10pm Wednesday; 7am-10pm Thursday; 7am-10pm Friday; 7am-11pm Saturday; 7am-11pm Sunday; 7am-10pm. Definitely worth a visit!

We use this pub frequently and we're a big fan of the carvery and cakeaway. Recently, we got married and asked these guys to make our wedding cake. We had a tonne left over and it even freezes and defrosts well! Staff can be hard to pin down, but are all very helpful when you can grab them. Full cakes are very affordable, if you're catering for a special event- thoroughly recommend.

Dined here Friday evening aswell as Saturday evening as stayed in hotel attached for the weekend. Food and desserts was tiptop on both evenings, staff was very polite and the homemade cakes to takeaway where just out of this world.

The food was okay. Usual sort of Greene King food. Carvery that my friends had was the same as most places. I had mac n cheese. Looks like a microwaved ready meal on a tarted up plate same as most pub chain meals. Came very fast but not a lot of interaction from the staff. Itโ€™s more like a fast food pub service. Itโ€™s very large and can get noisy. Good for a quick meal at a decent price point. If you are sat in the childrenโ€™s area expect a lot of screaming and children running around your table. There is an over 18s option if you prefer to not have children crying etc. parking outside. Usually a space but can be tight. Very popular with local people due to a meal thatโ€™s hot and affordable. ๐Ÿ‘

It was a typical Sunday for a carvery . Its my first visit and we went on recommendation. It was very busy and we had to wait 15 mins for a table. Not sure if this was typical but it was the first Sunday after payday. The queue for the carvery had about 20 people before us and we were dealt with in a timely manner. Meat was good Ham Turkey and Beef. The veg was varied and plentiful with the gravy and condiments at the end. The veg was cooked well and not soggy if only lukewarm despite the heaters. On the whole a nice experience and you can tell by my plate I left with a full tum. Will use again thank you

Looking for somewhere to eat whilst in Blackpool and stumbled across this little gem of a pub. Very busy but despite this still seated us, unlike other restaurants who just said fully booked and didnโ€™t care. Really friendly and warm welcome by the staff so felt at home straight away. The waiting system is great and we didnโ€™t wait long. But the best part of this is the food, which was totally out of this world. Went for a carvery which had a massive amount of choices compared to the Toby carvery down the world. The food was really tasty, and the prices were great. We finished off with dessert which didnโ€™t let down the experience as these were huge and very tasty. Had a kids area in here which is great for the younger ones. Really great place and amazing food. On top with great service. Keep up the great work

Fantastic meal. Great service. The carvery was fantastic, there were so many choices of veg too. And all the calories were listed. The dessert was amazing. My mum had a foot long eclair.

We ordered food at 8.30 knowing they stopped serving at 9. We ordered starters mains and desserts. Someone came to the table to explain the kitchen shut at 9 so the food would come out in dribs and drabs!! All the food arrived together. Table of 7 we were. 4 starters and 7 main meals all served together. Don't know how fast they think people eat to think the mains would not get cold. They offered to warm them up in the microwave for us. Not likely. Asked for a refund on the starters. Wanted to put it back on a gift card?? Got cash back in the end. Terrible service throughout apart from the guy that took our food order, maybe it should have been explained to us at that point that we would get everything together. Might aswell have bought desserts to, to melt while we ate everything else!!! Never again. Maybe your kitchen staff should be paid to stay a while longer or you should say meals finish at 8 not 9??

Went for a first time because somebody recommended that place. We were around 12 , just before rush. We have been served quick but food, don't really know what to say. Everything was cold, don't think yours heating light working properly. Served food should have temp at least 68 degrees, or around it. Definitely shouldn't be cold. The only plus it was big choice of veggies but mashed potatoes was disgusting taste like from powder mix, cauliflower and cheese I ate better this o e look like bit of cheese sprinkled on the top of cauliflower.

Very nice food as usual. Service was good despite the fact it was jam packed. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that I had to ask a member of staff where my drinks order was (I ordered on the app) and I wasn't able to get a slice of the galaxy chocolate cheese cake.

Eight of us ate here this lunchtime, we hadn't thought to book but that wasn't an issue, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, there was a singer, which seemed very loud when we first arrived, but we were seated far enough away to be able to talk and enjoy the singing. Reasonable selection for the children, good selection for adults, inc' a few smaller appetite options. The food was nice for the price (portions are quite big) and the table and loos were clean. A lovely final meal with friends after a few days away before heading home.

We were seated at 8.30pm and our food didn't arrive until 9.15pm. The food was clearly reheated as it was luke warm throughout and the smothered chicken breasts were tiny and dry. The mushroom dippers were overpriced (ยฃ3.99 for 7-8 small breaded mushrooms) and overall the food was poor. I appreciate that the restaurant was reasonably busy but at least serve food that is hot, not warm. Should have had a carvery instead.

We stopped here on the way home from Blackpool for some dinner. Staff were very welcoming, food orders taken and we were told 15 minute waitโ€ฆ food arrived within 5 minutes, fresh and well cooked. Tables were all cleaned, and we saw waitresses cleaning tables as soon as people left. The kids meals were great value, as was all the food! No negatives! Will visit again if weโ€™re in the area.

Food my guests had was good but my steak was awful. Tasteless and gristly. No table service to ask how the food was or clear the plates. I've given 4 stars because my guests seemed happy with their meals. It wasn't busy, so no excuse with the service. Nice atmosphere and cakes are brilliant. We ordered on the app from our table, is this why there was no follow up? Not sure about that.

We had never been to one of your restaurants before, having always frequented another well known carvery, so apart from the carvery we didnโ€™t know what to expect! We werenโ€™t disappointed! Reasonable price, great food, meats were amazing, veg was soft but not over cooked, the cheesyest cauliflower cheese!! The main carvery guy carried a plate of dinner to a table for a lady sat near us which I thought was really kind. As we were staying next door, the next night we returned for drinks and the yummiest cake weโ€™ve ever had!! Again great experience and we would absolutely return!!

Very nice but standard carvery food. Plenty of choice, most of the items were cooked well (apart from the 'raw in the middle' parsnips). The seating area for the food kinda felt like a barn where they'd thrown a load of tables in though, not the best atmosphere. But we went for the aim to eat a load of food and that's what we did!

Turned up, the place looked inviting, unlike the Toby we had passed. That look like something from a horror film. Plum tree was very nice inside, staff friendly, kind, and very helpful. Food was very good. Piping hot, plentiful and very tasty. Definitely a place to visit if your in Blackpool.

The carvery on Thursday 1st December was really good. Lots of meat and veg. I'd have given 5 stars were it not for the once frozen sprouts. They were full of water and mushy. Such a shame. Staff were great and polite. Nice environment to relax and eat in.

Great service, decent quality food, it's a buffet style breakfast where you put what you want on your plate and there was plenty of choice, the quality was better than most buffets I've had; a buffet can never replace freshly cooked (hence the 4stars); but that said I got what I wanted without the bits I didn't; that's the trade off, the atmosphere was quiet despite lots of people being in there which is always welcome at breakfast, the big draw was the value for money; at ยฃ6.99 + ยฃ1 something for tea or coffee + ยฃ1 something for fruit juice, fantastic value, we stayed on the local caravan site and this was an excellent way of having breakfast before packing to go home, really looking forward to breakfast here again next time we're in Blackpool, highly recommended. N.B the inside area didn't seem Dog Friendly,

Nice food, carvery is clearly the dish of choice because there was a queue a mile long for it. I went with beef and ale pie and it was a decent plate of pub grub.

we had the carvery my husband had the beef which looked very nice but there was more fat than beef, my turkey was ok because it was fresh the tables could do with a good wipe down when customers have left, as they was messy.

I like going here. Its one of my favourites. Been a couple of times and the carvery vegetables haven't been cooked properly but the majority of times it's been nice. Just letting you know so you know what to expect if it's just one of those nights. On another occasion we had to wait forty minutes for our meal but this was on a very busy night. I forgave them for that one but its the reason I only gave four stars

An excellent price for good food from the Carvery midweek. Sadly, the areas around and the floor underneath the table weren't clean with food droppings and napkins from the previous occupants. A couple of things to mention about the food experienced by both diners on this occasion: Turkey and Beef were melt in the mouth delicious. Yorkshire puddings weren't so good - very dry with no filling due to being cooked then stored for too long. The roast potatoes were also on the dry and hard side. Some of the sprouts were cooked through and others were rock hard. This was our first visit on the way home from a hospital appointment in Lytham. We would go and give it another try perhaps at a different time of the day, as we hit the carvery just ahead of the tea time rush. Being a bit later may have given a better experience.

Went here for lunch and had the carvery, choice of meat, beef, turkey and gammon, all were cooked nicely, the beef was tender and the turkey and gammon were nice and juicy, not dry as with some carveries. A good choice of vegetables, again all cooked nicely. As carveries go this was very good. Staff were cheerful and helpful, a good find, we will be going back.

This place has upped its game ! A while ago I stopped coming as the food wasn't up to scratch, but the family decided to go here tonight so I thought I would give it another try. The menu has been updated since I last visited which was good. I decided to go for the Korean Bbq burger this was amazing guys!! My steak on the burger was cooked exactly how I asked, the burger itself was lovely and juicy and the flavours was just exceptional. Easy to say I will be visiting again ๐Ÿ˜
