REVIEW ONLY FOR THE BOSTON CREAM PIE!!! I tried the boston cream pie since it originated from here. I did get it to go, so perhaps it would be a different experience if I tasted it when it is plated differently. Felt slightly disappointed because the slice of cake was expensive for the size and the taste was subpar. The cake itself was fluffy and not overtly sweet, and the cream was nothing special. I do wish there was more cream in between the cakes.

Out of this world breakfast in a location full of history. The Parker rolls and boston cream pie were both invented here and are a must try. I also suggest the corn beef and hash. While not as impressive as the rolls or pie, it was great. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and unlimited refills. The coffee wasn't the best, especially company to the numerous shops in the vicinity.

If you ask for Parker House rolls they will bring you some and they are incredible! Like no other roll you have had. So definitely try that. The Boston Cream Pie was also perfection. Pretzel french toast is also worth a try. The salt v sweet is delicious. Excellent, friendly staff made us feel very welcome.

5 stars, 10/10, will recommend and go again. Gorgeous restaurant inside the hotel, very nice staff, and the food is delicious. Had the French onion soup and the Boston cream pie. Absolutely great!

I Was in town for meetings and stopped in to try the Boston cream pie before my flight. As soon as I said I just wanted to get dessert, the server's attitude changed completely ( There were empty tables everywhere! I would slightly understand this behavior if the place was packed....but it wasn't). 5 mins later, I was served a Boston creme pie that tasted like it had just barely defrosted. Parts of the cake still tasted like they were frozen. I guess they wanted me out of there as fast as possible. Incredibly underwhelming cake and disappointed in what felt like snobbery by the waitstaff.

I love this place. I visited on my first trip to Boston. It is filled with photos of historical figures and is rich is history itself. Yesterday after having landed on my trip from Boise Idaho I was a bit hangry and tired. We stopped in for some delicious espresso martini’s and ended up also have a cup of their incredible clam chowder. I love the atmosphere, food and service. It’s a must visit.

We came here for breakfast and of course for the famous Boston pie. It was my first Boston pie but from what I had seen before this one looked fancier and had thicker chocolate than I was expecting, which I enjoyed. Very good breakfast too 🍳 🥞 Pancakes eggs bacon tea and Boston pie. Yum! Service was outstanding!! Very nice older Latino gentleman. Thank you!

This has fallen from the heights. Eggs Benedict were overcooked and actually rather unpleasant. I was told I couldn't have a bloody mary because the manager didn't approve. Eventually they relented. I love this hotel, but Parker's is to be avoided.

Somehow we missed that it was in a hotel. It looked like the best breakfast where we were. It was. The service was great, the food was great. I would never have made French toast out of a pretzel, but now I know how good it is, so I will. The bathroom is upstairs.

Review is for the Boston Cream Pie only. It's phenomenal. Got one shipped to Northern VA via Goldbelly. Pricey. AF!!! But we'll worth it. The cake itself is a warm milk sponge and is FANTASTIC even after being frozen. The cream portion is rock solid, and then that dark(ish) chocolate topper? Woo boy...glad I splurged on it.

Went just for the Boston Cream Pie. It was OK. Staff was friendly. They mention a dress code on their site but we didn’t have any issue with our very casual attire.

There's a reason this is an iconic hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make my young friend's day super special. After I explained that I was taking her out for a "Girls Day" in Boston (b/c Mom's been very ill) and I wanted to introduce her to the original Boston Cream Pie, the staff was incredibly accommodating. Not only did we have our tea and dessert, but as you can see they charmed her with a plate of chocolate covered strawberries! The dinning room is elegant with beautiful wood paneling and classic white linen service. A must if you are dining in Boston!

Very dirty, even though there were free tables (35+%), they sat next to the kitchen, oh. where there was a smell of ammonia. The dishes are not washed well. A lot of ambition, without justification.

The birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie and the famous Parker house rolls did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful, from beginning to end, taste, presentation and service were top notch.

Got the Bostons best hash. Was incredible. Bit pricey but what do you expect for a fancy hotel restaurant in the heart of Boston. 28 bucks after tip.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Parker House Restaurant Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Review: I recently made an 8-hour drive with high hopes to try the renowned Boston cream pie at Parker House Restaurant. Regrettably, my experience turned out to be quite underwhelming and left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, I eagerly ordered their famous Boston cream pie, only to be met with disappointment. The pie was noticeably dry and lacked the moistness and flavor I had anticipated. It was quite a letdown considering the high expectations I had built up for this iconic dessert. Furthermore, the overall quality of the food at Parker House was subpar. The dishes I tried were bland and lacked the depth of flavor one would expect from a reputable establishment. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which further detracted from the dining experience. While I understand that every restaurant can have off days, I was disheartened that my long journey ended in a culinary disappointment. The lackluster experience left me feeling that the Parker House did not live up to its reputation. I do hope that the management at Parker House takes these concerns into consideration and makes improvements to ensure that future guests have a more enjoyable dining experience. As for now, I cannot recommend Parker House Restaurant based on my own experience. Despite this setback, I remain optimistic that there are still plenty of other exceptional dining options in Boston that can satiate one's culinary cravings.

It was alright… I’d suggest just stopping in for the Boston crème pie. The other food was just ok. I was looking forward to trying the Parker rolls bc I’d heard it was good but they were cold/dry.

The ambiance was nice, and the restaurant looks great. Had the avocado toast and cappuccino for breakfast. The avocado toast was not too good and too sour. I had the avocado toast at ogawa cafe (5 mins away) next day, and there is a stark difference. The cappuchino, however, was amazing!! Also, if you stay in the hotel, it does offer convenience.

The location is inside a hotel and has a very authentic 60's feel to it. I had the steak tips, medium and I truly enjoyed it with the original Boston cream pie.

July 12, 2019 8:00 p.m. A 5Star dinner experience. Pefectlty cooked and seasoned filet mignon and salmon with a wonderful server, wait staff, and hostess. You will love this place. A winderful welcoming experience.

This restaurant serves the original, best Boston Cream pie. It's not much of a surprise that the hotel and restaurant were favorites of the writers who frequented them over a century ago, nor that it is a must-experience today.

Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. It was a little pricey but that’s to be expected for a more upscale hotel restaurant. Their prices matched the quality and service. Only complaint is I wish they had a more options on the menu

Quite frankly, terrible food. It is overpriced merely because of the status and history of the building that it is made in. Breakfast potatoes were bland, did not see a shred of seasoning as far as my eye could tell. They also upsold us beverages, involving us refusing it the first time and only accepting it after we were asked again "Are you sure?", because it seemed as if it was provided complementary; unprofessional and tacky. Now for the famous Boston Cream Pie, this thing is dry... the whip cream that it was accompanied with also tasted like something you would get from the supermarket. Not impressed.

Came by for breakfast just to get the Boston cream pie. The service was really good here and the ambience is what you would expect from a high class hotel. The cream pie was ok - definitely overhyped. I thought it lacked in flavor but it was worth trying I guess because of the history

Excellent food, the Boston cream pie is a must!

Overpriced, even taking into account the history of the hotel. Service was so slow. I had to reclaim the breakfast since few tables arrived later were already mid finishing their breakfast 🥐🍳

Oh mannnn that Boston Cream Pie is magic! Everything else was deffo mediocre & way spendy (ie BLT), but I'd come back for that superfluffy cake again & again ❤️ The space feels way elevated bordering on stuffy, but we were advised by the host that there is no dress code, soooo... Sweaty, dehydrated, post-Freedom Trail miles, 137% humidity, shorts/tees/(empty)CamelBaks cake it was. Supersweet service, despite our conditions.
